Visionary Architect and Pritzker Prize Winner
Zaha Hadid was a renowned Iraqi-British architect born in Baghdad in 1950. She studied architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London and later at the Politecnico di Milano. Hadid's innovative designs broke architectural norms, and she became the first woman to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004. Her notable works include the London Aquatics Centre and the MAXXI Museum. Hadid was also a professor at the London School of Economics and a fellow of the Royal Academy of Arts. She passed away in 2016.
