Zeeva Bukai

Zeeva Bukai is an Israeli-American author and professor. She has written two novels, Anatomy of Exile and The World Between, which explore her family's history of displacement. Bukai teaches creative writing at the University of California, Berkeley. She is also a professor of English at the University of California, Berkeley. Bukai's work often explores themes of identity, memory, and the human condition. She has received numerous awards and fellowships for her writing and teaching. Bukai is a member of the Jewish Writers' Alliance and the National Book Critics Circle.
