Just how did you feel out there today? I felt pretty good. Now the team was putting a lot better than yesterday, and I felt pretty good. It was a really good experience here with all the guys from the EG Trail and the other guys you're after. And I'm really happy of my performance this afternoon. Actually, 5 out of 5, it seemed to be a very locked-in and focused arm on everything
was going to be. Is that one of those things where you just see a couple shots and you're able to really settle? Yeah, you want to make sure your focus, the focus is up and making your own mistakes is always good for the confidence. I tried to build my game short after short and just say in the present moment and just keep focusing on the next shots and I felt like it was pretty good for me today. I think there are many other big game goals. I've seen you really, really seen the goal well in the playoffs and really good numbers that you posted in the playoffs. Do you get better as you get along in the season and start peaking in the playoffs? I was fortunate enough to have good teams over the last two years. Obviously, it's the same value. A pair of games is the same value as the first game of this season or a game in November.
So it's our approach to change. It's the same game, same box, same goal. And I'll just try to do my best every time I go on the ice and yeah, it's all my process. The announcement came out in Northeastern about another year away without a ring because of the construction. Are you thinking about your commitment for next year or with that? Is that change your mind much or where do you stand with that? Not at all. The goal of the culture over there is really sharp. I'm really grateful to go there the next year and yeah, it's not changing my mind that I won't go to Northeastern. Next year. Is that a goal? The process thinking for it might have spent the entire season playing all road games? Yeah, but it's a long way to go. I have a season to play next with the seedogs and that's where my focus is on right now.
How was this shoot different? I know last year I guess Pittsburgh just wasn't a good game for anybody. How was this year different than that that you had that experience of being around last year now coming this year? Yeah, I was a first stash here. I was a bit nervous for a game. No fruze came wearing the Buffalo Sabre jersey and today I felt the experience that I got from last year. I felt a lot more confident and I was more excited about the challenge. I was just focusing on making safe and just not worrying about the result but just being in the present moment and I think it's why it paid off. Is there any aspect of your game here looking to improve or build upon this year before having to call a chance here? Yeah, I've got a couple tactical tanks to get better at it. I felt that it was a lot better than it was last year and I was just keeping building on that game and for the next season and then just keeping getting better and then going to college.
I hope I'll be ready. Is there a difference in the pace in the game like this versus games in the back leg? Yeah, of course guys are a lot more skilled than the Quebec League. It's the best player of each team together and playing all together so it was a lot quicker but I felt good with it at the speed today and I'm really happy about it.
