161. What's The Infatuation with Buddy Hield? Draft Talk with Matt Babcock

In today's episode, Alex and Kent open up the show discussing Danny Manning (2:30) as an assistant coach candidate, Dan Burke heading to Philly (5:40) and Nate McMillan wanting to coach again as an assistant. Next, Alex and Kent talk about the reports of Indiana and Milwaukee discussing a deal for Oladipo (8:02), whether he makes sense with Giannis and what the Bucks would likely give up. The guys then debate whether or not the NBA should restart in December or January (18:30), and what the ramifications might be for a late start. To end the segment, Kent asks Alex why he's so intrigued by Buddy Hield (37:00). The guys discuss why Hield makes sense, and if Indiana decides to extend Oladipo and NOT trade Turner, where that puts them at financially going forward.

In segment 2, Alex is joined by Matt Babcock to discuss the upcoming NBA Draft (49:40). Matt shares his sleepers, who he likes for the Pacers at 54, teams that are looking to move off of their draft position, and what players Indiana could target if they move into the early part of the 2nd round.
