Jones. Welcome back. It is the Kentucky Select Chevy dealers. KSR pregame show or hour number two

to see some of the big blue mist and Nash feel not quite what it is normally, but there are a lot
of Kentucky fans here. It's cool to hear that guy called in right at the end of the first hour.
He's in line with other UK fans waiting to get in for the game today. It's kind of cool to hear
that. I don't know if this is a compliment shit. Somebody writes as a woman, I want to agree with the
guy. It's fine. Ryan's a harmless dirty old man, not a creepy old perv. There's a big difference.
They're really dirty old man creepy old perv. I would fall under the same category under the same
umbrella. She says there's a distinction. Well, that's good, Ryan. Back into compliment, right?
It's kind of a compliment. I don't even know if I even agree with her. Well, you think you're creepy?

I mean, anti-sigarette, but besides the cigarettes, the 90s were just better. Pop culture was better.
Pop culture is better. Music is better. You name it all across from pre 9-11. But did every
economy was good? Did anybody say that, though, back in my day? I don't know if they realized it
or not. And I think we're going to look back in hindsight and say that pre computers, we didn't
have to worry about being available 24 hours a day. But we're the old men now saying that everything
was good. No, but I think it's true. I think even young people are kind of nostalgic about it.
Just like shanning, when we were young, people were nostalgic about like the 60s. Yeah.
Yeah. Right. They were like, oh, we missed all the great times in the 60s. Right.
I'm going to say the 90s were, before we got addicted to these phones, we still like did face-to-face
things. Yeah. Yeah. But if you wanted to find something out, you had to go to a library,
look it up. But that's okay. We don't need to know all this stuff. Now I can just pull up my
phone and boom. There it is. But maybe we don't need to know everything. Yeah. No way. I
good. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Kentucky and LSU. I mean, let's go to the phone here in just one
second. LSUs without their backup big, Robert Thomas or whatever he's going to be out. He's been
playing well recently. I don't remember if he played well against us, but that gives them one
less big, probably not a huge difference. You feel good? Actually, I do. And that's why I picked Malachi
to be my player of the game. They're, you know, they're a little thin in the front court. And he,
you know, he came coming off the Malachi Miracle shot. First SEC tournament, the kids going to play
well today for Kentucky. Dakota Johnson is Don Johnson's daughter. Yeah. Melanie Griffith and Don
Johnson's daughter. How did I not know that? I don't know. Down up on pop culture, I guess.
We talked about Robert Miller too, right? Not Robert Thomas from LSU. I'm talking about Dakota Johnson.
Robert Miller. You said Robert Thomas. I'm going to go. I'm sorry. I don't keep the LSU roster on my
row of decks. And I don't have a row of decks anymore. And I had one in the 90's and it was good.
It was better. You remember when we played him down there, it was a must win game for them. They
played really well. Now they got nothing to play for. I mean, they're not going to the tournament.
Well, and some people think they're, is our coach getting fired? I think he's probably going to
get fired. Yeah, because they're talking about trying to bring Will Wade back. They bring him back.
Yeah, there, there are some people in LSU that want that. Although, I don't, I think NC State's
probably a better job where he is now. Well, I don't know if you'd bring some back. Who is there?
Who is their coach, Matt McMahon still? Yeah, that's it. He went to his from Murray, right? Yes,
that's right. I do not know how I know that. How do you pull that one out? I don't know.
I'm really surprised I know who else shoes coaches. Let's talk about what happens if we,
we talked earlier about what happens if we win? When do we lose? What's the post game show like
today if we lose? They'll be pock elliptic. They'll be people calling for popes firing
immediately. They will not be happy if they lose to LSU in the first game of the SEC tournament
on a Wednesday. They just, they'll be people that won him fired gone. 16C. LSU is the last seat.
Yeah. Don't you think people will be, you'll get people calling for him and then want you to call
for it? Well, I'm not going to call for it with the tournament next week. And I'm not going to
probably call for it anyway because I don't believe that, but I will say, you know, this would be
another strike because I told you I judged the season on three criteria. He has already
failed or de plused this regular season. One, now we have two and three. And can't, I mean, you know,
if we get to Friday and we lose like you're playing Florida, they might win the national championship.
I'm not going to go crazy. Now it is your fault. You're in a situation where you may have to play
him Friday. But if you lose to LSU in the first round, you know, the well, it is what it is. Now
there's a name got floated around yesterday. It's still not clear to me whether or not Mark Pope's
hiring a GM. Why don't you just come out, but he wants, he will not call it a GM. Yes. He'll
just say we're hiring people to do things. I'm, you know, there's some stubbornness now coming on
this. So there's some guy that people are talking that was, it was at BYU and now's with the
Milwaukee Bucks, but it sounds like he would not be a GM. He would be some sort of analytic
something model kept saying model. He said that three or four times in the past. God's model.
He said the model. Look at the models. Yeah. I don't think we need more models.
It's just it's a glaring emission. If every team's got one except you and St. John's.
Well, yeah, in ripetino, you know, he's one. It wasn't one of the biggest champions,
but it's probably terrible that it drew us right. It's the fact that St. John's got rid of it is
because you know, he's, he's so connected to Rick. Yes. Well, anyway, the guy that they mentioned,
I don't know him. He may be great at it, but it just looks like they're not going to.
I mean, the portal is going to open on what? The portal opens in three weeks, but it's not even
about that. You need like their guys every day who their season is ending. Let me give you an
example. Last last night, who won between was it Sienna and Merrimack? Don't know. I think it was
Sienna Merrimack. Merrimack had a dude that's averaging 24 points a game as a freshman and was
player of the league in that league. I think Sienna beat him. Yeah, they do. So Merrimack,
that guy is now ready to be taught as a free agent. And if he's averaging 24 points a game in
the, in the, as a freshman in that, he's, he's going somewhere. Now, I'm not saying we should
get him. I don't know him, but like teams are going to start contacting him to that. Yeah.
We don't have any place. And we don't have anybody in place. So I don't know if you want the guy
from Merrimack, but I will tell you a freshman at 24 points a game. You got at least look at him
from Miss Mary, Mack, Mack, Mack, all dressed in black. You might, you might want him.
And then there was a kid at the Hofstra game. The MVP of that tournament was a freshman who averaged
26 points a game in the conference tournament. You got it. He's going to go somewhere else. Yeah.
You got to get your, put yourself in position. You got it. And I hope we, I assume we have guys who
know who these people are, but feels like if you're going to have a GM, you'd want to have him.

or, no, they play Hazard. So it's a battle of, uh, Eastern Kentucky, battle of Larry. Butler V
Hazard. Larry, Larry loved that guy. And the fact that he talked about Butler on the show.
Where is Butler High School in Louisville, Shannon? Uh, I don't think I've ever passed it.
What part of town is it in? I don't know exactly. I'm sure I've been there. I probably
played baseball there back in high school, but I don't know where to look it up. I don't know

I appreciate. I'm taking the SEC tournament. If you're telling me sweet 16 now, if you go me,
if you go one more round and we say elite eight, then I'm going to take the elite eight.
But for the sweet 16, give me the SEC tournament five straight in five days. I think it would be
a fun run. It would be one we remember. I'll take it. The fact we've not won the tournament since
what 2018 was Shay. We make five wins and five days and win the tournament. I'm taking that.
We went to the sweet 16 last year. This year's team's not going to win a title in the NCAA tournament.
If we win the SEC title, I'm taking it. If you told me elite eight, I'd take the elite eight.
We were. But I think if we're in order to do that, we're probably going to have to beat
Florida, Tennessee, and maybe Arkansas back to back. Awesome. Let's do it. Can you imagine what
Nash will be like? Be crazy. It'd be like lively, shy. That hoops. That hoops.

down there. But that has nothing to do with how much they want it. Like where are you getting that
information? It's because I think it's my own feeling. I'm their coach. This is probably
his last game. I think they want to win this one for the coach to because they want to beat us
bad because we beat them down there at their place again. Well, I think, yeah, well, I think sometimes
it's easy when we're down on our team to just assume that, you know, the other teams can be
much more maybe they will. I don't know. But like, let's be honest, none of us have any idea.
What LSU basketball is doing right now? No. Could we say the same thing about our team? No,
we know about our team. We don't know anything about the LSU. There might be 0.1% of the listeners
here that really know the LSU basketball team. Like, we don't fall. We don't know. For honest,
if we're honest, we don't know. It's going to be about us. If we play well, we will win.
If we don't, then we give them a chance to win. But like, we don't know what LSU's
thinking going into this game. Do we? Do you know? That's how I feel. Our team has been
so unpredictable. I don't know about. I know something about Dawes High School now. What?

offense and defense over the course of the 15 days. What you got to do when you're starting from
