And that's the reason why I picked LSU because of the talent and because of the competitive nature that Louisiana guys brought out of me and each other. It seemed like I was right at home. 4:03Yeah, because I, we did our research and I know you was kind of, you was kind of hidden towards Miami. Yeah. That will made you flip. Flood. Yeah, honestly, you know what made me flip was Coach Randall Shannon. He was the head coach there at the time and University of Miami wasn't the same university, university of Miami. So I opened up my, my recruiting process and LSU happened to recruit me late in October. My, my first time actually interacting with LSU is when he played Auburn in 2007 that my right place last play the game to the coach's birthday back in the end zone. I was actually in the back of the end zone and how crazy the crowd was and the atmosphere of the food. I was like, this is going to be a school for me. Like. Damn. That's dope, bro. That's dope, man. I, there's so many memories, man. I don't even know what it started, bro. Me and Leonard was talking about it last week, bro. I was in the city with him West Virginia night, bro.

5:04Like, oh, my, and, and I told Leonard the same thing. I wanted to reason why I wanted to go to LSU to say the same thing because truthfully, I wanted to leave the state. You know what I mean? Like, I wanted to go to Oregon, throw the state I had offered from Tennessee, USC. I'll first I recruit, right? But being in the stadium that night, you guys played West Virginia, bro. Can you walk me through a walk us through, bro? Just like that night because it was special, bro. You was locking shit up with the return, the pose, the, the atmosphere, you know, I guess who it was like at that time, too, like, you know, Smith, Stem and Billy, all of the, all of the, all of the, all of the, Kevin, I was a rain or something. So where the line, yeah, like that was the top team in a, in a, if not number one team in America at the time, right? Like, can you talk us through just, you know, what is like going up against those guys, you know, the return, the stadium, you know, I want to be back to that night in particular.

6:04I think a couple of days prior to that because you guys know how, how it is a LSU, go to practice, you know, breakfast club study hall, I know what they called it when y'all was there, but you go to, you go to the study hall and you go to WCA, which is boys, right? Playing video games, maybe go grabs on the e, go to the mall or whatever the extra curricula was, but I extra curricula was being in WCA building 11, four, three, we still call that joint, the castle. So we're in there leading up to the game, me, Kevin Shurper, who Drake Nevers, I think Tyron was in there and two weeks before that, I had a big game against the North Carolina, no Carolina Tar Heels, I broke the SEC return record that night. So now leading up into the game, we're talking about, you know how this, we're talking about what we about to do in the game, just then I said, bro, if I get me a proper turn in this game, I'm hitting the high as much. I made the pose. But Kevin Shurper said, I bet you want to do it. I said, watch it. And I did that joint up, boy, say, oh boy, you pulled your pants down.

7:04I got a question. Did you get a jubble, though? Let's go. Well, last night, he gave it air full, but I didn't necessarily get in trouble for it. Like if you go back and watch the clip, he was talking to me and only thing he told me is like, Patrick, I love everything that you did. Touch my distance. But look at the position you put your team in. Kick it in the mall for the 50-year-old line. That's him. That is him. Yeah. That's definitely here, bro. Like, man, walk me through, bro, like that night, as I'm replaying those moments as well. Like I'm replaying your score. I'm replaying Tyrone's diving interception. You know, I'm replaying all of those moments about how it, and also how it leaked. You guys were as a defense and the standard from a defensive perspective. Like, you mentioned Calvin Shepherd, who is a guy that is leading the Detroit Lions right now in a major way.

8:05I'm so proud of him. Like, can you talk about your relationship, the leadership at LSU, the defensive culture? Yeah. Now we can talk about that real quick. It was a defensive food. I think, honestly, this came from what I just talked about with us always being around each other. Always finding something to do. Always pushing each other as envelope. I remember when we was in, you know, when everybody went home for spring, you have that spring intercession and whatever, nobody went home. Everybody stayed put because we wanted to put our best effort forward, not only so we can get to the lead, but so we can better each other each and every day. You know, so with us being around each other, all we did was push each other every day. If it was small competition in the weight room, even during hundreds, I bet you won't bend down more than you know, take a break more than me. Like, things like that, and all that did was make us better, man. And you can't do nothing but respect that. Listen, so for me, right?

9:06Play running back. So it's a little bit different from the DVU. Is LSU the real DVU? And my opinion ain't no question about it. It's not, it's not even closer to it. And then if you go and look at the guys who are penently, look at the longevity, look at what those, look at what the guys at LSU have done. I know they like to talk about Ohio State. They like to talk about Alabama. But how long has those, how long has those guys consistently been in the lead and really did, you know, things for a long period of time? I can only think of 1 DB from Alabama, that's Pats or 10. Yeah. I can only think of 1 DB, you know, in the modern, in the modern history from, from Ohio State. And that's probably Malcolm Jenkins. You know what I mean? So when you go to LSU, you can go down the line. You know what I mean?

29:57Like speed runs in y'all family because that that motherfucker was fast Right, so can you tell us like coming on the campus why you Uh, I think you changed from Johnson to Peterson Yep, so um the story behind that when I was in high school my mom and dad got married My mom and dad had me at a very young age 17 and 19 So on my mom and my mom family The way she was raised if you're not married you're gonna get your mom last name So my mom last name is Johnson my dad last name obviously is Peterson So they wanted to change it while I was in high school, but I Was dominating people so much man. They used to complain talking about I was too old. Just got another like bro If you really look at I'm I'm younger than what I supposed to be I'm I'm 17 in the You know as a senior, you know, that's you know, you typically 18 about the turn 18. I didn't turn 18 so I got to LSU So my dad was like man, it's gonna be a easier process if we just change your name as you transition on to the next you know

31:04Love in your life. So that's kind of how that came came about with me change my life Matt that no, no, no, that's that's the interesting story. I always wanted to know that too, man Because you know obviously Avery, you know, he was a Johnson right so Um having him on campus Man, it was fun. It was exciting bro. And just seeing how you know you guys were so different But so alike, you know, not me and like from the standpoint of like it like it was like night It was night and day right and um, you know, I had a definitely night day for sure It was night and day man had opportunity to you know, mentor him a little bit and then obviously Linda played with them as well Bro, so you know, I was always asking him questions about your stories about you. I remember um Um to transition to the NFL a little bit. I remember Your rookie season. We're all sitting in the ops uh in training camp and you return like you return a putt for like a game

32:05When it touched down or something like this and we're all like Oh, that's the 90. That's a 99 bro. We all in there jumping screaming going crazy No actually you said you said training camp. No, that's my first game of the season. That's what it was That's what it was Yeah, against the car Yes, bro talk talk us through that right because you know, did you know when you went to the to the NFL that you would be a part of your turner as well Or was it experiment at the time um and it just happened to work man, you know um, I did know I was going to be a part of turner. I found out after I got drafted Can't whistle hunt Toby. Hey man, everything that you do to LSU We're expecting you to do that when you get here. So you're gonna be at some point in the season You're gonna be following them on the number one receiving and you're gonna be returning the ball But I will say this Planned pump return help me settle down in my rookie season though because now I was getting success

33:08And it wasn't really no big strain on me at pump return. He's either going fair catch Catch the ball and make something happen on defense You know you get scored on there might be a bad play here to my you know You might give up a first down in the coach on the sideline showing you out so you can kind of go through that Emotional rollercoaster so I feel like playing pump return and having the success that I had as a rookie It helped me Be more even kill as a defense of back and then my next year That's when I made you know my first All pro and I had seven in the sessions that year, you know, so Playing pump return definitely help help me kind of ease my way into my NFL career And most guys don't have a luxury to do that because think about it juice With and when you are running back and you're and you're receiving coming to the game you trying to learn everything right and you just want You just want that little bit of stasis of success and you not getting it yet When I was getting as a pump return early on and see he's like oh, okay now the game starting to so now for me

34:08So now I got that out of him getting a little bit of success. So now let's figure this side out maybe don't Everybody don't have that luxury. I can Honestly my memory with you in a fell right I got to when Calvin Johnson When you was doing anything get Calvin Johnson and 2017 when I had a chance to play against y'all When I was with the Jacksonville and I'm like With on the sideline be you and time. I'm like you know what He's the big home is bra. I ain't about to do that. So I just went out of bounds. I promise you just like it's like I have a For anybody else right? So I got to win my first one on one matchup against Larry because I came into the league in a unique, in a unique situation. I came into the league on a lockout. So I wasn't able to go to OTA's rookie mini-can, to go to the facility and do all the rest of it. I had to stay in Florida and train until they open back, open up the doors again. So they didn't open up the doors and they july. So now they can't, we can't negotiate no contract.

46:37So now I'm training camp of already started. Now I got to negotiate my contract. So I don't get the training camp. It's about a week and a half to two weeks late. So now I get there ugly number two in the 37. I love almost three of them. So I went straight to my boy house and I said, man, how much I got to give for that 21 dog. But anyway, my first one on one matchup, my first one on one matchup against Larry, with a five yard line. And I know he's probably going to leave. Because he want to, he want to try to end there. So he give me a little, a little shake at the line, start running the fade. I locate the ball, but I'm again talking about the margin of error. I still got to preach it somewhere in here too. Maybe I'll show you up before we get off. But anyway, I'm literally, you know, it's only this much of space. But the five yard line and the then zone is 10 yards. So that's 20 yards of space. I'm in a step pocket. The quarterback throws the ball down the out of bounds, but at the back pile up, Larry catches the ball like this here with with one hand and toe tap.

47:42He gets the pit, y'all, y'all know Larry, a picture got loose. He gets loose the picture out. Oh, he's a stranger for me. Sign it to you. Hey, that's cool. That's cool. Yeah. Hey, that's just, that's just what Larry do. So that's warm. The second one, I go, this one, I got the best of him. This one we moved training camp back down in the valley. 48:44So I believe without those matchups, those battles, every day, I practice, you know, P1 be the PAP P sitting here today. Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Sure story, man. And we we had some battles, man. Every single day. And the thing I did love about our senior group to where we had we had big receivers. Like Floyd, we had Larry, then we had small guys too, like John Brown. Yeah. Who was he? That was a slow. Yeah, smoke. We had we had the other one number 14. Damn, I can't remember his name now. But we had some like we had every pretty much statue of receiver to where I was able to get work from each one of those guys. Yeah. Man, that's for some man. You mentioned a lot of those guys. Obviously you guys didn't get the rain. I thought you had the team, bro. I thought that was it. Yeah, 15, man. We did have a team, man. Yeah, can you take us through that the NFC championship game and just, you know, where your spirit's were, you know, going into it and then obviously after falling short.

49:47Man, you know, honestly, you was going into that game, man. I spurs were super low, man, because we just lost the heartbeat of our team and Ty and Matthews. Carson Palmer had a torn ligament in his index finger. And, you know, that year was average and 35 points of game. And once all of that happened, it was like a dark cloud over our team. And it was like, God, I leave. And it's just like, dominoes started falling, man. So going into that end, it was raining cold. So going into that game, man, I ain't going to lie. It was like, man, we just got a hope and prayer. Like real talk, like you know, when you have one of those games, like we made it to the championship. I mean, we know our team is good enough. But going into that game with no honey bachelor who we felt that could be that cam Newton, you know, equalizer. Then we got Carson Palmer, where our whole offense was down the field. Carson kept throwing the ball over 20 yards. So I knew he was in trouble because I hold on to him. I was risky, no biscuit.

50:48Man, you've been risky. You've been risky. You've been risky, right? Damn. This is a question I never even thought about. How was it having B as a coach? I know, but B8, hard, no straight forward. Keep it real. But I always tell you this story, right? When I was born through my transition from Jacksonville to Tampa. And I wasn't playing. You know, first time my career, but I was a player. So I'm like, you know, as the guys we all, we want to contribute to the team. So I'm on the plane. I'm like, man, look, fuck it. I might have just put this motherfucker. Like it is what it is. I'm not playing. You hear me? They got me on. They got me. I don't know how to help this crack and B8 can't see me like, I'm like, what the problem is? I'm like, man, you're fucking over me. He kept it real esposs, we say look, Lena, a special player. I need you to get in line. I don't, I don't want to have to kick you off the team. But if you won't leave, I'ma, I'ma let you leave. You having to this fucking plane, the size to land to make a decision.

51:50I see damn. So I'm like, my head down. Oh, man. My head down. I'm crying because, you know, I've been a guy my whole life. He said, all right, five star players, he asked, who, who are the five star players? But when they're right down numbers, he, he, he, he, he searched for me in time. He said, if these two motherfuckers right here can't stop the other two pack of five, they're two five star players. We're cooked. We're cooked. So I need my five star players to be five star players. So the way that he treated everyone, the messaging was just so real, man, I can do nothing but respect that. And I'm going to a quick story similar to that. I wasn't about to quit. But I found out I had diabetes. So the week, the week going into the, it was Oakland rage at the time. Literally, I'm talking about I'm sluggish, I'm throwing up in practice. I can't keep nothing down. And all I see is a person was just looking at it with them.

53:52I saw something with a shades on it. I said, I know, I know he pissed at me about it. Yeah. Because I know he think, he think of that, that I went out partying. I said, I know the principal, I know he has. So Friday came around, it got worse. I'm talking, I'm throwing, I couldn't even stay. I couldn't even finish practice. So now Saturday, we go on the bus, hit come to principal, come see me when we land. I said, oh, shit. Damn. What the hell coach want me not? So we got go up in this office, we're going to his room. He said, man, what the fuck wrong with you? I said, coach, man, I really don't know. I said, I haven't been clubbing, I haven't been drinking. I said, I don't know what's wrong with my body. I said, look at me coach, I'm not even myself. At the time that I'm like 235, 235. I said, coach, look at me. I'm not even myself. I have no idea what's going on. He said, you know what? I'm thinking about having you as a healthy scratch this week. Because I don't think he believed what I was saying. He said, I'm thinking about having you as a healthy scratch this week.

54:52And he said, you have found out the mall on the board. He said, I see you at the 19 meeting. I said, damn, so now I'm pissed. Come tellin' coach, what's going on? I don't know what the hell's wrong with me. I thought he was going to be like, let's try to get you some help or something. Goes like, hell no, you're going to get a healthy scratch out there because you're not going to be. So fast forward, we get in the game. My name wasn't on the board. So I'm happy. I said, woo, get out there. I had one of my best games that year because of coach put that fire on me that he's going to have me as a healthy scratch like, man, whatever, however heavy I am, I'm going to have to work around this week to rest this year, got there because I am not going to be a healthy scratch. Following that next week, we played the Dallas Cowboys. He almost did not want me to follow the edge of the brain. So top-bosos are deep as a coordinate at the time. Bosos like, now I see him starting to get back in fighting week. That's what top-bosos always tell me. He getting back in fighting week. So now I'll go up his desk right.

55:54This Brian don't catch a pass all game until the last freaking play of the game. It was a freaking and it was a fade touch that I hate him back. Sure. A fade at the five yard line. And you know Tony Ruff, no, actually Tony Roman wasn't a quarterback. Brandon Wheaton was a- I'm not a hard guard though period. Brandon Wheaton, yeah. Do a back through the fade and give him a trash chest down. Garbage chest down, man. But that's my funny B.H. story, man. Well, you almost had me as a healthy. And also not only that, he understood the place like it's funny as well. I can remember like even through training camp, but we got a training camp at 3 o'clock every day. And you go in the training camp, a lot of guys don't get out to 7 o'clock. 8 o'clock. 9 o'clock. Where man, where he understood it also the rest of the pieces. So the he always tell it, I'm like damn coach, like why we always get out so early. So the coach Tony dungeon, coach Tony dungeon, son passed. And he was like, man, you have to be with your family. Be with your family.

56:55Football is going to beat up, but go home, spend time with your kids. So I definitely respected him for doing that, giving us time to be fathers. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And he was real big too. The thing that he brought to Arizona culture was the family area, hanging out after the game, kind of like tailgating and stuff like that. He brought that over there. And it was amazing, man, having our families at practice on Saturdays. And he got the corner ice and activities for the kids and stuff like that. I thought that was very, very cool for him to bring that atmosphere over to Arizona. No, definitely, man. As we wrap up your journey in Arizona, right? Like, I don't think people know that you got to, you, you went for one, throwing that football. I don't think many people, many people, many people know as a defensive player, right?

57:55You know, you got a little quarterback too, you know what I'm saying? Like, what? Did you? I got a little candy. Yeah. Yeah. Obviously, you know, Bruce Ariens, your coach, office, and mind it, right? You guys, I don't remember the name of your coordinator at the time, but I'm sure this is a Bruce Ariens thing, right? Putting you back there. Oh, there's Jeff. Yeah. Putting you back there. The jeans of Bruce Ariens, right? Like, the five-star players don't touch the ball in any way, anytime. If I can make it happen, I'm gonna make it happen. Man, walk us through, you know, the jet sweep reverse pass that you threw, man. I think it was 17-yard completion. I had 20, 20. Yeah, 17-yard completion, yeah. And honestly, the play was made to go to Mike Floyd. He was wide open, but the way I was coming back, I couldn't get my body. You couldn't, you couldn't throw it. You couldn't throw it in the back crossfield, because that's what a play was supposed to go. Yeah, exactly. I couldn't go. That press guy. That press guy. That's a very well-made look.

58:56Yes. That press guy. He gonna get that body back to rock on him. So, I wasn't able to work my upper body back around and get the ball to my, to, uh, Mike and Floyd. So I see Kerry Washington coming on the over because he was my second outlet. So I was like, man, let me just get this easy completion right here. Through a little striker Kerry and the rest of his, but man, Bruce Ariens, he had a whole like playbook for me. Like, I had about 12 plays when he was out, when he was in head coach, because you know Bruce Ariens, brisket, no biscuit. And we had no speed. We had big receivers in his mercy there. So that's why he wanted me to come over and kind of loosen up, you know, the defense a little bit. So now these bigger receivers can eat in the media route because everybody was just sitting on everything when we had Mike Floyd and Larry out there. It's like, oh, these dudes, they run a deep. We just got to call these guys for 17 yards. So that's why he kind of implemented me, implemented me over.

59:59And I knew that Pat P, a defensive player, will be going through a, a pure progression read, bro. Read, read, read, tie down like Tom Brady. So what's crazy to juice when Bruce Ariens was our coach? I used to come consider myself a competition quarterback because every Friday I used to win that. I used to win that. I used to win that. And I used to work there. Fuck. Every Friday doing that shit. Yeah. I want 15,000. I want 15,000. I want my brother. The field goes from like 60 yards. That's crazy. That's crazy. Man. It was getting so bad. I was whipping those boys up with money, right? Like this is the God on the street. I was whipping them so much and money. I was like, man, everybody got money, man. But then moving over to like the atmosphere in that stadium and US bank stadium, man, that school chat is something very, very special. It really is. And they have something very, very, a through a through spans that that want a championship there. They really have their their dying of a championship and they love their team. So being there with with jettos and and and KO. His first year setting the league, the league record for the most most single digit wins or come back to something like that. It was something crazy. Every game that we play, I think it was like 11.

So my time in Minnesota, bro, it was definitely a life change in the experience because I never lived in snow and never had to prepare, you know, my damn driveway when I got to leave out in the morning. There's no way. I don't know. Yeah, you wouldn't expect that. It's cold. It's brick when I was in. And then feel be hard. Yeah, all over there. I went to catch a ball. Yes.

1:18:27Like warm ups. Man, that bitch felt like a brick. I caught that bitch and dropped that when it's like me. I ain't my warm up. I said, you know what, bro? I don't know how people could play in the cool, which I had a chance to play with the bills. But also speaking of, you know, the Pittsburgh, your era, I think you went to safety around that time. Yeah. And I know you made, I believe a quote with a saying that if, you know, you got to transfer from safety to the carnivore tired. Did you know you were going to retire that year? No, I said, I did not know I was going to retire that year because I had one more year under my contract, right? So my goal was to retire after year 14 because. And that quote that you just said, if I have to move out to save that, me to stop for me to go. Because I want to play cornerback as long as possible. Because going from corner to save the people don't know. That's a, that's a different world back then, man. Now, now you have so much, now you see so much more. And that's some DB's I didn't have this problem, but some DB's have wondering eyes.

1:19:30So now you get back there, you can see the whole field. You see the, you got the visual, the 22 visual. You know, so yeah, at the end of the day, like I, yeah, has a corner. Your tackling entry points are totally different from a corner than a safety. Like that's a, I'm telling that's a different ball game back there. So with me, I had already put it in my mind. So you know what, I see how they, if I, if I am back here next year, I can kind of see how what my role will be. I'm going to kind of be like that, that Swiss army night. So if somebody go, if somebody goes down in the back end, I'm still going to be a corner. But if somebody goes down in the back end, they're just going to transfer, transfer me back there and move somebody else at corner. Because I played literally my, my, my last year in Pittsburgh, I didn't miss a game. And I played every deep as a back position on the field that year. My first time ever, you're in that. And I feel like I have to say, but you know, some young man's game.

1:20:32And you know, Pittsburgh still has felt that they had to go younger. Yeah. Yeah, man, you know what it is, too, bro, we watching that. Are we hearing a little bit about that with Jell-A-Ramsie right now, right? Like, like, you know, and it's certain, it's, it's guys that embrace it. It's guys that want to do it right. Jell-A-Ramsie is a guy that, you know, arguably at a time, which is best cornerback in the game, you know what I mean? Like, hands down from, from ball skills to, to who he was challenging. We can't, we can't. And, and everything, everything. Like, you know, if, if I don't think he has mixed feelings about his role, right? But, you know, just from as an older player who kind of like experienced it throughout that time, like, what would be something like their encouragement, so just like words of wisdom that you would give him or share with him about, you know, being a Swiss Army knife, right? Or embracing that role a little bit more. Yeah.

1:21:33And I'm not necessarily in Pittsburgh, right? He's still in Pittsburgh. And that's kind of, yeah, so maybe it's a thing I listen to more. Right. My whole last thought of it. I know, I know that we all know he's a great player. He's going to be competitive. He going to do all that on the football field. But my, my, my thing to him will be continuing showing these young guys how to be a switch Army knife, because you never know when your number going to be called in different positions. So help these guys understand everybody position on the football field, because that's very, very important, because I remember my first time ever playing safety. And I never played safe and practice was against any appless coach. Freaking Casey goes out the first drop of the game. So now he can't play no more the game. But good thing I know I know every position on the field. They just do me right on in there. So that's what, and that honestly, that's how you're able to send in lead to when you know multiple positions. Just not your position.

1:28:51For me, excuse me, when I was playing, golf helped me just kind of slow everything down, man, because I'm out there for four hours. I was either out there by myself or out there with a teammate. So I'm out there four hours, never really bothered my phone for the most part unless I'm listening to music. But I'm out there four hours out there with nature, get an opportunity to unwind and think clearly about the things that I want to achieve. So for me, when I'm out on the golf course, a lot of people might say it's technical, they're starting other but just being out there in nature is hand in the birds, the scenery. For me, it helps clear, it helps me clear my mind. No, that's what's up. I heard a lot of stories, man. You mentioned playing with Jordan. Obviously, I'm a Jordan athlete. So the trips and the golf trips and making sure that golf trips are, making sure that the trip that we take and playing around the golf course and all this stuff.

1:29:51And like, you don't realize how I haven't got addicted to it, but you don't realize how passionate guys are that actually play professional sports. We see it with you. We see it with Steffan Curry. Now LeBron James is joining the bandwagon, right? Kevin Hartz just joined the bandwagon, right? Do you play any of those tournaments? I know there's one coming up, but everyone that just has. Yeah, so yeah, playing that with every other, that's the late Tahoe American Century band. Yeah, I played that one every year. This year was my, believe it or not, was my 13th season playing another. Damn. Yeah, I've been in that one since I've been in the, my second year in the lead. That's how long I've been playing another one. Yeah, we got a little resident over there. The girls love it. That's like their favorite trip in the summertime because we're all together for that whole week. And Lake Tahoe, the weather's doing, I don't know, we go on, we go out on the boat and it always falls on my birthday, on my birthday we can. So the girls look forward to it.

1:30:52I look forward to it. You know, my wife and the girls do a great job of decorating the house when I get back off the course. Man, it's always a great time when we go to our late Tahoe. Yeah. Teach them along the way how to get over certain obstacles. Pick them up from school to hear how they day went. To kind of help them be better the next day.

1:37:00Get them home, do our homework, cook dinner for them now. Make sure just doing all of these small things now, man, and actually being involved in it. It's honestly an honor, bro, because you have this little human being looking up at you for all the right answers. They're looking for you to look around the corner, because I tell my girls it's all the time. My job is to look around the corner before you get to the corner. To let you know, I'll be like, up here. All right, there's three dogs in a monkey around that corner. You might want to be careful versus you just going around that corner blindfold and getting all to work. You know, so being a dad and giving out kids the life skills and the life lessons, man. We got to take that whole heartily because when they get old, they are going to lean on the things that we taught and the things that they saw growing up. I think the things that I do now, right, and I started doing this when I was 20, 24.

1:38:08I've always had an editor. You might not know this job, but so from 26 all up to now, I have made videos in my life. You know, this telling my kids how life was going for me at this age because you're going to go to ups and downs. It's a part of life, right? So now that I'm older, I made a video recently, you know, saying like, my struggles with trying to find my identity outside of football. And this is for when they hit the 20s all up to the 30s that they can have positive information that, you know, like, man, my dad, my dad, he went through it, but he kept pushing. He never quit. And even when it was hard, he came home. It was all love. Right. So that's what I do, you know what I'm saying? And I got in my vault in the bank, you know, when it's out time to say it and that, but you need things like that to show your kids, like, you know, life wasn't always peaches and cream. Because that's what we don't have a book to teach you how to be parents.

1:39:11Right. The answer though is like, like, parent and parent and it's hard. And it's not all this shit, especially when we hit that age, like, when I hit that age 15, 16, you know, smelling my stuff. And my dad, it bump here is a lot of times. Right. But in hindsight, you look back at it, you know, they're, they always try to protect us. Right. Even from, even from a lot of things, we could protect our stuff from. Because some things is going to happen or they. Right. So, man, I'm happy to hit that man. I'm happy because I do the same thing, man. I bring my kids to school every morning. I bring them to tutoring. I bring them to practice. And with people that don't play sports, realize this, when you're in the beginning of your career, but you miss so much. You miss on so much with your kids, but in like, to me, that was so hurtful. You know, coming back, especially when I had kids in college and high school and shit, you coming back and they. They've learned new words. Them, they walking. So you just like, man, sometimes college, I was like, bro, is this shit really worth it? Yeah. Because I used to come back home.

1:40:13My daughter is like, I try to get my daughter brushy like she like nah, like that's hurtful. Because like, she don't know, like I'm doing this shit for you. You don't want to give me no, you don't want to give me no mother fuck up. Right. That's true. That's true. That keep, that keep, that keep, that man keep, keep, keep being you, keep being the leader. A great friend example for these young guys who was trying to, especially in pump, you know, in Florida. And especially guys like myself who still look up to you, we appreciate you. Yeah. And the whole Louisiana, bro, and the whole Louisiana, man, Pat, too, man, like, like, you know, we cross paths a few times. And every time, bro, I always want to make sure, yeah, bro, and just give you your flowers, bro, because bro, like, you know, you, you aspire more than one generation, bro. Like, of athletes and, and, and people that just want to attend LSU and play at the highest level, like, you know, a lot of that shit started with you, man. And there was a lot of great players that we've all seen throughout our time, you know, that mean it are inspired to be.

1:41:14But I definitely think, you know, the standard set at LSU, bro, by, by numerous amount of people, but especially one by you, man, is one of the highest ever, bro. So just want to say, man, we love you, bro. I personally want to see the seven club podcasts get up. I don't know if I can be a chief executive editor or something on that show or something, but, but I definitely would love to see that, man, because I do think that there is a lot of information, a lot of testimony, a lot of great stories to be shared, a lot of wisdom.
