Rocket Capses were made for the actual family, for the Robinson's, for hosting him in the Wars box, the ultimate gift. And now the only place you can get them is by going to the box and they've got them all there. All the family were wearing them. The mad butcher had one of us here at the game last weekend. It was great to see. Yeah, that was cool. I cracked up laughing. So of course one ended up on a Z-like, the most iconic league person that's not a league player in the country. He got another award too at the Warriors Awards on. I think it's like a lifetime, I think I can esteem lifetime award. Nice. And him, Robo and Cam George all got them. Yeah, sick. Which is thoroughly deserved. So that's our beloved Warriors rugby league team. The only one in the National Rugby League comp that plays over in Australia if you knew to the podcast. I thought, oh shit. Someone's yanked me, hit off the frigging long cord. I thought today guys, I'd whip out the first ever Warriors jersey I got. Oh, that's sick. That has been through the mother fucking. It's been through a lot of fucking rugby trainees.
Look at the back. That hanging on for dear life. That is awesome. And you'll notice, so how funny is that? So when I was in high school, I got this from. That's fucking awesome. That's a 95. Oh, yeah, this is OG OG. And so when I got this from Snakey Boy of all people who's obviously a big list of the podcast, you know, Brett, we're talking about a lot of the radio show as well. The reason it doesn't have any badges is he ended up getting these badges and putting them on a newer jersey. And he got his mum to unpack them. And so he gifted me when I didn't have one and we were fucking watching the Warriors one day, he gifted me this jumper and I wore it fucking at the Fishing Chip Shop rugby trainings. Keep it forever. It smelled like a bucket of fucking mothballs when I put it on this morning. That's got some stretch in it because it's bloody old now. Well, those are the three quarter sleeves. Yeah. That's the OG that I love those three quarter sleeves. I think if we are, I mean, and this is open to interpretation like we are going to have a handle on the Northern Hemisphere design jersey. And I think a three quarter sleeve should be in the mixer.
Like I love the three quarter sleeves. Yeah. I like it because it's posh them up pretty easily as well. Yeah. It's also makes it feel like getting down a bit of fucking business. Yeah. I like it. I like a placard front as well, which is what they went with with the Christchurch jersey. I like the old school. You know, I really, really like the old school. I like how faded and fucked that is. How it's hanging by a thread stretched over the carcass. In that. So Sunday, Sunday, 6pm they play, which be 6am, 6am or 7am Northern Hemisphere time for those in the UK. Obviously America, the U.S. will figure that out. It's probably an absolute prick of a time. But 6pm Sunday, the Warriors playing. And he'll be favorite sold out Eden Park, which is our national stadium. It'll be the biggest league crowd they've ever had at Eden Park. It's biggest league crowd they've ever had in New Zealand. 55,000 there, can you get a beat there? Yeah. Really boys, you're going to be there. You'll be super up, mate. Membership. It's so sweet, man. Honestly, getting a membership just for the perks when it comes to this time. Grand Final tickets before every hour. It's like, these playoffs, like the day before it went on sale. The whole stadium's available.
Just click where you want. No rush on the website. Yeah. That's that's wailess stressful. We didn't fucking buy our grandfathers. No, she's the other day when I see us go. Damn it. Hey, welcome to the podcast. Like I said, you say your favorite part of the week, literally the best way you can support us. Think of it like shoutness of beer a month as buy becoming sniper elite. That'll, and then in return, we'll give you all of, well, 50% more episodes. Basically, we did two extra a week that go on a Monday and a Tuesday. That's what we forgot to say in yesterday's episode. One of the, before the end of the year, we are giving away. So the Warriors release, I think it's having seven jerseys. A year. And so we're going to give away an opportunity for you to get every single jersey. So someone on the sniper elite, and basically the code words that we'll throw out there, we'll run this for a very short period of time. And then you'll get credit at dynasty. And then as soon as your jersey turns up and your size, boom, get sent here. So you'll get 2027s worth the entire lineup of Warriors jerseys, which I think fucking awesome.
I would love to. That's what I mean. That's what my favorite prizes are. I know we give away flyaways across the globe and stuff, but that's, I mean, for how much we love that team, that is fucking sick. And not many sports teams dive into seven new jerseys a year. Like our fans gobble them up and you could be like, you could literally have to never buy a Warriors jersey again. We'll repeat that prize as well. Yeah, totally. And then I was talking to Tyler, who's the brains behind dynasty and he, it's his company that makes them all. There's a whole bunch of other stuff. I mean, that check their website out because they do a bunch of other teams that are rugby teams, they do other NRL teams, WR, WNRL teams, a whole bunch of uniforming as well. They do an awesome, awesome, awesome job. If you're a weapon on the sewing machine, imagine stitching them all together into one, you know, like a square, a square, a square, like a pet square because every one of the years jerseys. She know one of the coolest things I've seen slightly different to what you're saying, but a, an older mum that I know, every birthday would take a t-shirt out of her son's
drawers or couple of t-shirts and ones of cool pictures or patterns of whatever on them. And then she turned it into a do-ve cover and just, just got all the pictures off all them stitched together. So he's basically a sort of entire childhood in t-shirts as it's do-ve cover. That's cool. I like the, I'm a store big fan of the possum skins. That's work at the possum skins. Remember we talked to, we talked to Sam the trap man. Oh, yes. The Aboriginal possum skins. Yeah, yeah, unfamiliar with the concept in behind it, basically Aboriginal people in Australia, when they were born, they were given a possum skin with a story of how they basically came to be and how, you know, some significance from their parents, you know, heritage genealogy, history, area in which they were born. And then every year you get a new skin and then eventually all those skins get sewn together into this massive big rug, you know, which is then given to you on like your 21st. It's like a, basically a seven by three skin setup, which is massive because three possum
skins wide, it's quite a good one. And then seven now makes fairly significant setup. Yeah, that's so rad. Well, the worries, Ves, would also, I would also like probably slightly less meaning in behind it, but I would fucking love it. I think do, big do-ve. So another reason to become a sniper elite and I think Monday will be given out the details, probably locked in. I would imagine of the grand final package for two that we want to give away to the hopefully wash the wires playing the NRL grand final. If not, I mean, it is grand final footies, fucking magnificent. The stadium they play, it's about 80,000, 80, 90,000. So huge, it's just like a bucket list of vent regardless of who makes it into that final. So if you're a sniper elite, you'll find out the details of that. This coming Monday and like I said, listed a beer month, there's a link in the show notes of this episode. Just click on that, since it becomes sniper elite boom, take it straight through. Right, we're going to thank you to you and then we'll get into a war story. Do you suffer from premature ejaculation? Yes. Use Jay and Dunk on not for real.
Many people do. This podcast is sponsored by classic builders, building dreams, creative futures and yes, that's their actual line, but they back it up. Let's get into a war story. Attention snipers, gear up and hold your positions. It's time to load up some war stories. Your tails from the front line, brought to life, prepared to fire. Today fellas, new sniper elite here, ando from Aussie, you can call me Ando because that's his fucking name. Hey, welcome to the top brass mate. Thank you. Bit of a David Long extended one here, but hopefully provide some lighting detainment for the listeners. Let me set the scene. It's 2011. Oh boy, bin Laden was still alive. And I was a 24 year old soldier in the Aussie Army five months into an eighth month trip in Afghanistan. This particular day was a special day. I was about to go on leave for two weeks in Europe. I was really looking forward to this as I know I had only ever been overseas with the Army and they usually don't send you to the nicest places around the world.
Shit holes. Anyway, my section command at least called them weby because that's his fucking name. Wanted to fuck with me. So he kept telling me that he is going to find a way to prevent me going on leave somehow. I told weby to go and get fuck. Let's call this full shadowing. Anyway, I'm sitting on the edge of a runway reading a book waiting for it with about 20 hours of the bloke for our plane. A C-130, hercules sack to land. But then fucking boom. What the fuck was that? Been in a war zone explosions aren't exactly unusual. However, this one did seem quite close. And you could slightly feel the shock waves, but no alarm sounded. We laughed it off until we noticed thick black smoke rising from the fuel depot. Oh shit. But our plane was starting its approach to land and we all started relaxing shit like ha ha. Eat a dick if Afghanistan. The bears will sue me on. Ha ha. Yeah, I thought it's been that Afghanistan can keep burning for a couple more weeks without
us. This will be all on the person. This assumption was increased. The fucking plane didn't land. It just keeps circling above us, taunting us. It was one of the refes. Do you say Rafis or R-A-F-I-E-S? Royal Australia Air Force. Rafis. Rafis. One of the Rafis sorted over to us, pointed up to the sky and said, plane can't land until the fire's out. The runway's closed. Get fucked. To be frank, we were pissed, but not too worried. The fireman on base of the nitching to get some time on the tools. And we get it sorted at no time. So I just continued laying back and reading my book. Nick Manit. But whoop. Well, I felt the fucking heat. Above my book, I watched an oar as a big fuck off fireball rose into the sky above the pages of my book. Fuck. Fuckin' biggest fucking fireball I have ever seen. A BFF, big fucking fireball. So what? Is it fuel Bowser? I then looked up as the plane just in, at the plane, just in time to see it, nope out,
and then turned south at a quick fucking pace. Oh, fuck. Where's the hurt going? Oh yeah, that fire's getting pretty big, eh? What had actually happened was an IED was smuggled into the base, detonated amongst a heap of semi-trailers full of diesel. Then the fire spread amongst the shitload more trailers. And then the pressure built up so much in one trailer with a dodgy lid, it spilled open like a sudden can sending diesel vapor fucking way up into the air and igniting. Yeah, what? It was pretty fucking epic. And may have contributed to my PTSD. Yeah. This is when the RAFI walk back over to us, the plane is heading back to the Kandahar air field to refuel. Won't be back until the fire's under control. Ah, fuck it, fuck it. Fuckin' Afghanistan. There's always one more extra point of hall to be shoved right up your ass sideways with only tears and blood for Lou. My anxiety about the current situation had turned to rage as I remembered Webe saying
that he will find a way to stop me going on leave. I started yelling, that was fucking Webe. He fucking blew that shit up. He said he'd stop me leaving that prick. Well, let's just say none of the lads were very happy at this point in the jam and fallen out of our donuts. The bottom of our show bags, it spilled open down, or Ralph was lying face down, asked up on the floor without a pulse. Fucking Webe. Five hours later. Eventually, the fire was contained under control. Our plane landed and took us out of country. Big sigh of relief. I can fight and relax and enjoy some leave. Inquiry. As you can see. As it turned out, a five hour delay flight to Europe due to a BFF was not going to be the most memorable part of my leave. It was just the beginning of a bunch of other stressful bullshit that would occur in my life. But that is a tale for another time, but here's a quick summary. Lost my bank card on day one. Got scammed by a dodgy Italian on day two and Roman spent the night and a night in the
cells in London. I had to transfer money to my dad who then Western Union transferred it to me in Europe. Big fucking fees. And was always walking around with thousands and cash. Not relaxes as I thought it would be. In fact, I was actually pretty happy to be going to Afghanistan after the shit fight of a holiday. Oh, it turns out we be wasn't a war criminal going around our base blowing up fuel tanks. But nor was it the Taliban. It was alleged that it was a dispute between two rival fuel companies bidding for a contract. Allegedly, it was enough for them to literally blow up the competition. Allegedly. Thank fuck I now live in Australia where we get our shit sorted in the bear garden. Anyway, cheers. Sorry if it's such a long story, but I hope you enjoyed it. I'm Marty. And up the fucking was. That's a mad story. I love that level. I mean, I don't love that level because it's a massive level of fuckery. But the fact that they're competing for contracts, so they're just going to blow the other ones up like on a fucking base in a war zone.
Like how wild can it get? A lot of fucking fights over oil, hasn't there? Yeah, I'm just going to be the same sort of fights over using this and leaf batteries. No, fuck off early, the other. I just that just reminded me of his bad luck. See that where he'd lost all of his shit. So a person who's going to remain nameless, who's been on tour with, who's been on the South African tour, the greatest wrongs to it. He's a very good friend of the show, he's very good musician, he's a fucking handful on the, he's a handful on the purse. I think we can fucking put all put two and two together to get fucking see Mac. So, you guys are the most hectic story. He's like, you've never seen hospitality like it. He goes, mate, we have seen some shit put on for us. Yeah. Never have you seen them lay it out like this. Like it was on. Coincide with one of the blocs birthday's, Tyker YTDC, Redor is there. This is fucking massive party, very small crew. He's surrounded by every all black idol of his through to like Ian Kirk Patrick.
Oh wow. Like all the way through. There's the first one to lift the trophy for the 1987 Rugby World Cup. So this is like, this is the, and then all of the South African here, like everyone, and everyone's like, ah, you guys are fucking awesome anyway. So he goes out, he gets fucking well, well steamed up because he's drinking with the South Africans. And he's like, I'm a hybrid Australian Southern band museo. Like when it comes to the threshold, he's at the top. Anyway, so they're drinking these clippin' clop fucking brandy and gucks or something. Which he's, I love a brandy. Oh, they're great. And he reckons you can run fucking drag cars on this stuff. Like, and he gets, he gets out of the way he's called. Anyway, he goes out, ends up realizing that he's kind of out of his death. And he's like, this is just, the boy's charging. He's like, a massive freakish humans can't drink, can't keep up with him. And so he just basically just does a shit out shuffle. Which in South Africa, fucking terrible idea being by yourself when you don't really know where you're going. So anyway, he goes out straight away, boom, mugged, phone, fucking well, it's too small.
Ah, ah, ah, ah, cheers. Cheers. Yeah, and so they're pushing you over to nick your shoes, where they just might let like, I think he just came. He's just hitting your foot and taking them. He just handed over and walked home in his undisputed. No option, no option. Anyway, so the fucking mid, mid mugging, he, this car pulls up, these guys get out and they fucking grab these guys that are mugging them and they throw him into the car and they're like, oh, you're getting here, getting here. And they grab his shoes back off and grab his phone back off and fucking he's like, oh, fucking finally, this music gig started to pay off. Anyway, the guys go, fuck you, okay, it's like, yeah, sweet, sweet, sweet. Where are you staying? And he goes, oh, fuck, I don't know, and this Airbnb somewhere and pretty nice setup. Anyway, so they get him there. So now the, he's like, thank fuck you guys, puts his shoes back on, fucking phone back in his pocket. They grabbed the guys while he ends up getting all of his shit back. Anyway, in the car, back to the Airbnb. And they're like, ah, sweet, do you want to shut us a drink? And he's like, okay, sweet, come on inside, he's fucking hammering his like, I don't know, the code isn't like, he must not, the code is cool. So I was like, oh, I'm a phone seein' like, fuck this.
So they're magging me, can you take off the shit? I'm like, what the fuck? So, oh my gosh. So then he's outside with no phone, no fucking wallet, no shoes. He's having been magged for the second time. Oh my gosh. Oh, bro, this is rough. And he listen to this, I feel for you. And then he goes, ah, fuck it. So at this stage, you don't know what's in and around the neighborhood, like Aaron, a nice neighborhood. Yeah. But there's always opportunities anyway. So he falls asleep up against the front door and just wakes up to his head going, shhh, shhh, sliding down the door. Someone's trying to fucking peel his pants off. So then, and then all this shit goes on anyway. So they're fucking, just smash on the door, fucking they all, and then everyone comes out, let's see what he's like, fuck, this place is hectic. But yeah, so apparently they're basically, they, they, it's like not uncommon in South Africa to see a tourist under the pump.
And the idea is, is that you go out and you sort the tourist out and you go, mate, we'll get all your shit back. And then you go back and there's a bigger hall back where they are. And so they go back and then they'll roll you back at your house. It's like a rescue fuck. You're getting rescued, and a fuck here. And a bad way. Yeah, that's all I've got. Oh shit, that's, that's, it is a, it's exactly that tune. But I legit, I forgot about it till now. Amazing, yeah. Yeah, amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing. Now I've been sitting on this one for a couple of days now and I'm fucking wanna get it out because I know it's gonna absolutely hurt. Well, smack my ass and call me Susan. It's Jay and Duncan, I'm not free. Welcome to I Got So Bake That. That's from Gert 1980. I watched a whole full movie on mute thinking I'd gone deaf. That's from Kyle. I forgot that I was helping to make cleaners seven foot long fish tank and flooded his bungalow. I got soap, this is Christopher.
I only got so baked, I hate to be the one, but I cough from the bomb so hard I shit myself. That's from Michael. I got so baked that I spent half an hour looking for my lighter in a dark room. The only light I have was the flame from said lighter. That's right here from Peter D. Reed. I got so cooked, I took a shit in the inlaw's bath. That's right there, Michael. I'll just won't use the surname. I sat at the stop sign waiting for the light to turn green two blocks ahead of me. Oh my gosh. That's from Anthony. I got so baked, I started breathing manually. I never expected that. I started breathing manually. I had all the trips in just three hundred to five days a night and there was no barium home. That way, that hardship wouldn't last a minute for some water and I counted it for it because there was no productivity for it. Oh my gosh. I missed number two pockets, I couldn't open it mate. I heard you from Pandora and had, ohnnnn
hey you fucking Richards, I really was? talking to the delivery driver, then I fell asleep in the toilet for four hours with my pizza and my hand. It's got a smashed a couple of cheeseburgers from the golden arches on the way home. They tasted way stranger than a normal. I got to the very end of the last one before realizing I hadn't unwrapped them. Your credit card company is hoping you don't hear this. They're charging you 21% APR interest, making it hard to pay down your balance. A home equity loan from Rocket Mortgage could cut your interest rate by more than half, so you could wipe out your high interest credit card debt with the equity you've built in your home. Without touching your current mortgage rate, see how much you could save at rocketmortgage.com. Rocket Mortgage LLC, License & 50 States, and MLS Consumer Access.org, No. 3030, call 804 Rocket for full program details. This from GMIWoke, I got so baked that I woke up amongst the hippopotamus that lake in the Tarsha in Kenya.
This from Danny King, I got so baked my mates that I could crash on his floor hypothetically, so I'm looking at the couch, thinking, fuck, that looks comfy, but he said floor, so I slipped on the floor. This from Greg, I got so baked I couldn't move from the fire pit in the Zambe in the Zambeasy. On a school trip when a lion walked into camp and all my mates bolted into the tent, his mother fucker walked right past me and scraped through the other side of the camp. I am in a puff since that was 19 years ago. That would do it though. This one here from from gas, I got so baked I'd type my pin number into the microwave to heat up some food I'd blew that shit to bits. Oh my gosh. I had an experience with this in my old flat. My flatmate who was a let's just say an evening entrepreneur, he had a business going. So he said we had certain things there. He ended up getting like a rubbish sack of like off-cuts, right?
Leaves and sticks. So he's been like weeks cutting it all up, churning it to butter. And then he was ruthless. He'd be putting it all like it's toast before he'd go to work in the morning, like just hurting those. We were trying different recipes with that and then one night we're like, we're going to have a big family roast, but we're going to baste everything that we make with the butter that we've made. Oh my god. So we roast like a whole chicken, all these potatoes and stuff, all sweet around all real wholesome. And it's delicious, but it's very morish and you know like you want to eat more, you want to eat more. So eating and eating and eating and eating and eating and just get to the point where I'm just melted into the couch and I managed to drag myself to bed, I wake up and I'm just like sweating and panicking. And I go into the bathroom and I'm sitting on the bathroom floor and I've genuinely believed that I've got no arms. And so I'm like crying dude, like it's not like even at that point, like how am I going to live my life to save it with no arms. I'm like rocking back and forth on the floor of the toilet like, oh this is going to tell my family like this is terrible. And eventually I look down and I'm like, what am I holding my legs with? And I'm like just sitting on the bathroom floor and I was like,
oh my god. I've grown some new ones, it's a miracle. I'm just like, man, don't mess with the intervals dude, that's the worst experience I think I've ever had. That's kind of like, I'm stoned because I eat and I eat because I'm stoned, like that is fucking like going down the plug hole marijuana. Just what you're going to happen that way. Whole bag of 25 chicken nuggets disappear into a 14 year old reedzy. Deep out of the podcast, then join us on the Sniper's Nightmare Facebook page. So we've got a guest for you now and he hears a bloke if you listen to the UK or across the globe, you might not know by name, but in Australia he is an absolutely fucking superstar of motorsport. Chas Monster is one of the biggest names in Australian supercars, which I guess for our international listeners is basically Australia's answer to the touring car racing I guess. You know what it is? What is going to become the not-for-radio goal is to introduce every single person in the northern hemisphere to supercars. Oh yeah. And what a spectacle it is. And we'll cover off some of it in the chat and there's something so special about it.
That no other motorsport can lay claim to. Oh, the cars are exceptionally fast. The tracks are super unforgiving. They do a massive mixture of tracks. They seem to fucking hate each other half the time. Chas has been racing at the top level for more than a decade. He's won the Beth S1000 twice, which is the crown jewel of Australian motorsport and one of the great touring car races anywhere in the world. And it's on a track that is open to the public for like nine, well, 11 months of the year probably. He's also a huge personality in the sport. He's got a hell of a story for being a young bloke, trying to make it in racing. He did the typical karting route to winning Beth S1000, a horrific crash at the same track that left him with a broken leg and ended his season. Before coming back and then conquering the mountain when he and the comeback year as well. So he's also been announced to be racing and the race of champions, which has happened in Wellington. A tenth and a eleventh or ninth and tenth of January will cover off the details in the check.
Which is one of the trips that we're hoping to fly somebody out for a few years. Max, you're in the sniper alert because it's going to be, if you've never been to Wellington, A, that's a treat. But to see this and the format of racing, that is a really, really real real treat. Shake it once, that's fine. Shake it twice, that's okay. Shake it three times and you're Jay on duck on not for radio. Absolutely. Cheers, boss. Welcome to not for radio. My good friend. The tramp is here. The tramp is here. Ozi ozi ozi ozi ozi ozi. What an intro, hey? I've learned so much already. It's pretty high for every other stuff we're doing here. Yeah, you'll be more than familiar with this. You've got a great relationship with our former showbos teagues now. She pests as you. Probably the same level in which she's the Pester Us. And I'd like to manage to sub out two chaotic humans for two chaotic humans. Which is probably we were great training for her. And obviously with the way that you leds off right over there. It's pretty impressive. Yeah, she told me there's no chance I could come over and ask story get together because it would just be bad news because you two are
already apparently bad news together. So three of us in the same room is just dangerous. So thank god she's not here. Now last time we saw you were in Christchurch for the soup cars round at Ropona and teagues had just started and you accidentally got showbos her name wrong. Did show bag stick? Yeah, it's still going strong. Yeah, it's still still going strong. So I'm going down there. Yeah, it's still it's still sticking. So great. Perfect. I was going to chill down. I'll let you know what I'm going to do because there was a crazy weekend of racing and supercars. I'm going to play some of the highlights and obviously it went very, very well for you. And you can sort out your cheer while I do that. This is on board the Matt Stone racing Bendix. Camaro Aaron Seton and Zach Bates. Oh, he's excellent. Yeah, Bates lost the turn. Like, sorry. Zach Bates lost the real one. Yeah, what? That's the unseated step. That's a super chic car, yeah. On board with Nick Perkett. Oh, outbang. And just in this and Victor, I mean, that Nick quite is. Absolutely nothing you could do.
Yeah, that's it. But this is proof that in the Ropco Supercars Championship, you should never, ever bet against the champions, Charles Boston and Baby and Cold Tard, win the airtruck 500 of the fans. Toyota. In the Ropco Inchiro Cup opener. Is that first time you've heard that, what are you? Yeah, it's his ringtone. Yeah, it's, yeah, it's actually when you guys rang me earlier today. Yeah, it's pretty good. It was just absolutely crazy race. Like, yeah, everyone was just, there's the obviously conditions were treacherous. All the co-drive was really stood up, which was absolutely amazing. Yeah, none of us, Maini's wanted to get in around the 50 lap mark. We're like, just keep him going, keep him going. It's, we don't want to drive out in those conditions. So, yeah, they did an awesome job. There was, there was a piece, a great piece of audio. We knew it, we knew it, we knew it, we were being interviewed in the pits. I can't remember basically what it was, but you were just there coughing and handing it. You know, I'm pretty keen to stay where I'm at and Favis couldn't just, he can thrash the ourselves and bring it home and I hop in with a couple of laps to go
and we can, we can finish it out and start. I can't, it was to that effect. I think you actually almost predicted what happened. You said 30 seconds, but post that Supercar's put out this morning, started to leave it one by 18 seconds. So you're almost, we're just full-gandy. Yeah, I was just trying to do one of them, what is it, Conor McGregor predictors, you know, the thing. So, what round knockout and all that kind of stuff. It was absolutely just my blow and smoke and somehow it ended up, you know, talking confidence, somehow it got through to the end. So like you guys said, Favis did an awesome job. I didn't, I didn't know if we were really a shock to win the day starting 11th, but woke up in the morning, apparently it was supposed to be one or two millerrain just around the warm up and be done. But I think they put an extra M on it was like one or two meters of rain for the day. It was biblical way. Do you know what the actual rain look like? It looked like three months with a rain. It was not. It was just listening to what we were in the truck when it started coming down. We're like, that's not a drizzle. Like it was quite, quite loud. And then just that whole start of the race, it just like looked like it was going away. Oh no, here's another band.
And it just kept just kept coming. So it was crazy. I made for awesome watching. There was a part of it. I was just saying before we hit record, it was like, I think all the time, we've watched Supercars for years, ever since I was like five years old. And it just somehow seems to still surprise you. Like you know, just don't know what's going to pop up. It must be the same for you as a driver. Are you going to be prepared for all scenarios? It's one of their months where you think you know it's always going to happen in Supercars and then all of a sudden it throws a spanner in the mix. So like I said, for us, we were like, me, I was, what he was 14th, I think. And I was, I was 11th, that's where we kind of qualified. We're like, it's going to be a tough day. But just didn't realize it was going to be a tougher for a lot of other people other than just ourselves. So yeah, whether just in racing, it's good that we race in it. We have wet tyres to go and do it. And it was pretty crazy conditions. How much vis if you got when it's like that, just like nixed to nothing? I'd say probably like in that type of rain, like third and back is just like a white out. Yeah, it's just absolutely crazy. I think I was 10th on that restart. And I was, I found, I like,
fan to the inside trying to get away from the other cars. And the whole straight was still covered. I think I was two metres behind, LeBrock at the stage. And I couldn't even see his tail lights come on. So crazy. So you're guessing at that point? Yeah, just, just, yeah. Muscle memory. Just, just having a crack. Muscle memory in the sim. How is it that the, the, the wets couldn't even push the water off fast enough? Like, you'd normally, that's the tire design. It's to give you some form of grip and funnel the, funnel the water out. But just kind of... Nothing like a hydroplane. No, you literally look like an everyone just look like they're on marbles. That, that sort of racing sucks as a, as a spectator. Because you can't see anything anyway. There's heaps of action. But the reason why we're actually catching up with you is because there is a new format that you're coming to New Zealand to do. Stadium racing, which, and I'm talking about this before, we sort of flick the microphones on. For me, the shorter formats of everything is right in my wheelhouse. Because I just love to delete piss and just have it right in front of me. I don't want to, I don't want us straight. Our corner, our this, are that.
I want the lot right in front of me on like a big wide view where I can see the carnage and I can duck out grab a tube and come back and be ready to go hot dog and hand, you know? Well, have we got the event for you? So I explain it. Has this happened before? Is this the first time in New Zealand? Is it a world first? Yes, so it's just announced. Racer Champions is coming to Wellington, New Zealand. Start of January, 9th and 10th. Basically, the format is getting the best race car drivers from all around the world in different disciplines from Raleigh Formula One, NASCAR. I don't know why they're looking at supercar drivers. We know we've got no talent, but we're just, we're just faking it till we make it. And yeah, so a couple of years ago, two years ago, we had it in Sydney, our 2025. I was the first time I got invited with me. Fellow supercar drivers like Will Brown and Brody Kastekki. And we were thrown in the deep end, rubbing shoulders with guys like Sebastian Vettel, Valtteri Bodas, Johan Kristofferson, Sebastian Loeb, one of the best rally car drivers of all time. So we felt like very small prawns in a big, big sea.
But behind the scenes, just absolute legends. And the event itself was so much fun on end off track. So on track, the helmets go on. Of course, we all step up and want something to show. And yeah, to really test our, I guess, grit, our limits. On a pretty level playing field, where cars that, another of our skies really drive. And yeah, try and crown the champion of champions on the Sunday and the nation's cup on the Sunday. I was going to run through some of the stats for what I had to go into. Was that an A-Core stadium, right? So there was 200 plus workers, 400 truck movements, and around 4,500 tons of road base or ash felt that was needed to get chucked in, which is the same thing that's going to happen at the Cape Town. So an enormous amount of work that'll go in, but it looks amazing. Like for those that have never seen the picture, once you see the picture, you get it straight away. But do you want to try and paint the picture of what the starter track you're going to be on? Yeah, it's going to be really unique. I mean, every track that they do is something different. So when we were at the core,
the cars were going the same way. In previous years, you've seen them go hit like, kind of head onto a race finish. So basically the way it is, it's one kind of giant lap where you start, you're then going to go pass the grid box of where the other car starts. And it's kind of like one super long lap, but really technical type track. And we saw it in at Sydney, plenty of spills and thrills. And guys going through barriers, trying to absolutely send it to the limit where sometimes the cars don't take it. So and you're most of race finishes come down to like, we've had, we've just seen dead heats before. We've seen people win by one centimeter and you're going back to the timing and photos to make sure 100% and just a knockout type format. So you're not going to be done in round one or you could just make it all the way to the final and just finish runner up and get heartbroken there. It's, it's absolutely insane. If you're not in a motorsport, it's just an awesome night out on Sunday and Sunday and yeah, you'll just, you'll really love it. Good first point on the tickets too. 49 bucks for a day pass, 74 for the weekend. And I think I believe, am I right and saying
it's planned to be broadcast to 120 countries? Is that right? Yeah, that's what I've heard. So yeah, it's going to be absolutely insane. Hopefully put, we're new, New Zealand's ready on the map. But hopefully it gets some more people. Not all maps, some American maps just mess us right off for some reason. They get Tasmania, but they're bloody mess us up. Yeah, bastards. Have you seen, have you actually seen, this is a random side quest, but have you seen New Zealand overlaid over Europe? Well, you go through about 12 different countries. Like we're way bigger than what we've represent on the map. So they're basically leaving you out because they're jealous. Yeah, the ramps. Yeah, the more they leave us out, the better to be honest. Yeah, the way they're hovering fingers over big red buttons around the globe at the moment. I don't mind the fact that I don't know that we're here. Is this something that you look forward to because I guess in terms of your driving style versus the rally cars, versus the NAS cars, versus the formulas, different lines, different race approaches, different ways that they set themselves up. Do you learn anything new? Does it give you sort of an insight having the chat with the leds if you'd like to have a crack at something else? I mean, the jizz has gone rather well over and over in NASCAR. But does that get you excited to maybe move, move format?
Well, I think the biggest thing is obviously it's just an absolute honor to be invited to this type of event. I mean, I've probably before getting invited 10 years ago, you used to watch race at champion races on YouTube and previous ones. It's an honor to be invited to first thing. But yeah, you never know what opportunities can kind of come from it. You're rubbing shoulders of guys like Travis Pastrana and everything everyone's watched all his stuff, how loose he is around the world. But he's like, man, just come out. He's so, he's so, Mary, he's like, come out to my, just come out to my compound whenever you want. We'll get you back for a battle. We'll get you back for living a bike or something. Man, I'm only built for wheels. I'm happy to come out and watch what you do with no dramas. So it's pretty cool like you get to rub shoulders of a motorsport royalty. And yeah, for a little Aussie kid that just was bloody his mind to make it the super cars. It's pretty cool to see how the whole journey's gone. Don't get the same sort of invitation from the Formula One guys. Go, hey, come out to my compound of Monaco and park up on my super yacht and take some vintage something for a spun around the streets. Well, there was one. It would definitely would come in your rock and end.
That would be one to show. Yeah, we wouldn't have had good with that. Yeah. Now, road to Beth versus started. And obviously the weekend we're just switching back to super cars here briefly. The weekend went spectacular for you guys. You guys are in new cars this year. There must be a huge confidence boost going into the great race. Yeah, the 500 was going to be a big test for us. Obviously the distance of race and some of the little things we've been having going on this year. So the teams worked extremely hard rolling out that new B-Spec motor working on the reliability. So it was a bit hard coming out of QR. Obviously that little hiccup we had with one of our engines. But yeah, we figured that out. That guys worked extremely hard going into the bend and to be able to get two cars on the podium in those treacherous conditions is stems that's really good for bathists. So yeah, looking forward to hearing how the engine reports went and no doubt hopefully we're trying to run those motors into the next one and put the reliability stuff behind us. How much do you know that on their engine report report stuff? Because obviously the team goes away and as we figured out
we were tend to meddle in pain after we went bathists. We were like, oh, you're flying back after we went bathists last year and it was like, no, I'm just cruising back in the truck. Because 17 hour drive or something just so much. I was just like, I'm actually stuck. Yeah, so it's always interesting to know what dynamic you're running. Do you just get the report after all the works down on? Do you like to sit near and crunch numbers with them and try and figure out what's going on? Because you're the one that feels everything. They tell you the numbers, but then you've got to marry the two up. Yeah, men would probably two drivers that just stay far away from engineers as possible. So when they're normally talking to us they're like, yeah, the engine's doing this. I'm going, oh, we need to focus on this. We're just both going. The eyes are never like working with each other like, do you know what he said? No, we don't know what he said. Yeah, yeah, no, we totally understand what's going on. So, um, now I understand where you've got the new sunglasses sponsorising. Close the eyes when they're talking to you. It might have been one or two debriefs. It's definitely happened like that. But now we leave that part of the team stuff up to the professionals. Obviously the engineers are smart guys and the engine technicians.
So it's more just like if they need our feedback on it's honestly sounds so silly, but silly noises or overruns or the way that has sensitive the throttle application is. We'll say what that is, but we don't really sit there and be like, going for the data because we see a bunch of squiggly lines and numbers and we go, we have no idea what that is. Which is fucking funny because when we were in the garage, they were like, just don't take any photos of the screen. Like, that fucking me, dude, what do you think of me? What do you think of me? Some sort of motorsport rain man? What am I going to do with that? Go and tune the bloody B-Y-D with it? Yeah, there's some famous Steve McQueen quote where he's just coming from a race and he's punching a SIGGI and they're like, one of the brakes feel like he has done it and touched them. That's so good. We're looking forward to catching up with you and the team in Bathurst. We're bringing over 40 well- lubricated bogans and we're camping on site. So this is going to be my first time at Bathurst. Don't spend there before but I'm looking forward to it. So this might be it for the show then because sometimes you go to Bathurst, you might never come back. Mate, if I make it there because it's the Warriors are going to ground final the weekend before so
I might not even make it to Bathurst. So either that or it would be stringing to get the seven days of a bender which is probably more on the cards. Yeah, you'll make it. We're running quite tight. We want to do the tractor town as far as when we're landing because that's like super cool after seeing that in Topor. Like it's such a great idea that super cars do. Was it you that did the massive burnout in Topor with the police car behind them? No, no, it wouldn't be me. I think there was a couple of drivers that had done that. Yeah, that's true. The few warnings over some time. Yeah, now it's been pretty lucky. Been pretty lucky. But Bathurst, it's hard to explain but it is such a special place. Like when you see it in person for the first time, what age were you when you saw it in person for the first time? Because it's hard to explain just how steep that track is. Yeah, so the first time I actually went there was as a 12-year-old. So I was racing go-carts at the time and never thought about a career in racing or anything. It was just a hobby but went there and I was actually, I remember, I camped as well. So but I was camping with all hold and supporters at the time. I never really had someone I went for.
I was always an aura of the drivers but never a manufacturer. So but I was a shitster. So I was camping with hold and supporters. I'm like, well, I'm going for Ford. So yeah, it was just that history and seeing people at each other. But also everyone with the same interest just really draw you in as a fan. And now even when you're a super car driver and you're going there, like you get there on the Tuesday, some guys or Wednesday, mostly Tuesdays. And you see the Mount Panorama sign, you just get this like Goosebumpy feeling. The history there, the amount of amazing races that have happened, the finishes, the cars that have raced around that track. And of course, the superstar drivers that for many, many moons ago, not when none of us, the superstars now, compared to the old guys that used to run around with a glove box and drive their road car to that amount of race distance. And then drive it home was just insane. So it just gives you goose bumps at this history and it could possibly happen that weekend. I think I think you say that. And I know that I mean, you have to be saying it in just because
there will be a 12 year old that's on the hill going one day. I want to be you. And that's hard to get your head around. But that is the reality of the situation. And arguably, there are more 12 year olds thinking that they want to be you. Then when you were there as a 12 year old thinking that you'd love to be doing that as well, just because the popularity of the sport, we were saying yesterday on the pod, oh, but who were we explaining it to? Maybe the guys over in the UK. But there was no, no professional sport, remotely close to supercars. And the fact that we'll be in the pit with, I mean, not that everyone gets that it's level of access. But there's a lot of people that push through the pits and push through your spaces. And you spend a lot of time with like putting your helmet on as you get in the car and then taking off for a couple of photos and then jam back on. Good luck getting close to anybody in any other sport. No motorsport like dreaming if you're thinking motorsport. And that's why I think that it's got the following and so many people love it. Because this is the gap between you and the and your biggest, you know, your biggest fans like it's crazy.
Yeah, supercars is really unique. But I think for us like, I was lucky, obviously still being in supercars through the COVID part. And that was a real eye opening experience because we're going to races, obviously being an essential sport for people stuck back at home. And without the fans out the track, like it was the most shallow, weirdest feeling and didn't feel it felt like it was like, felt like a race car would no feel in it. It was just not the event that we were after. So for me personally, what I've probably learned from guys like Craig Lounds is the fans and the interactions. I could be having the most shitest day qualified 25th or 26th and scratching my head. What what's going on? But then I go to a signing session. I might be down for two or three people and then you might see a fellow 12-year-old come up with a mustard shirt on or a woody shirt and you're just like, mate, snap out of it. This you got to go and fight now back in these these next couple of races for for these awesome people that are supporting you. No matter if you're 25th or first. It just probably acts on that 12-year-old self still inside you. What you love about the sport and how you're a fan of it.
Yeah, but like all the way down to the start of the race, like you said, we're probably about eight minutes out from the siren going off to on the grid. You know, we've got a full grid walk of people down there and excitement, but it's what we love. That's what all us drivers strive on. Because if there's, when we've been in that COVID situation, no one's there. It's like, why are we doing this? What's what's what are we doing it for? You know what glory? Like testing. So with race champions, Wellington, beginning of January next year, do you get that same level of access to you get to come up and get the autographs of all the drivers? Do you get to have that interaction? Because it is a very small and very elite sort of crew. They must look at you and go, cheesy-t handling this well. Yeah, don't touch me. It's a bit of unique because it's like kind of crossed over a little bit footy. So like when we did it at core, we were kind of like in the footy area. So they had like lockers and all our drivers together. And we're like, no, we don't get ready. We have like all our competition in. In racing. So it was quite cool like to be in there. And having a bit of banter back and forth for the start of the race, you kind of competition or who you were going up against.
But then saying that, we could just walk straight out the tunnel. And a lot of us drivers kind of went out between other races and watched some races and saw some fans and stuff like that. So a call was a tough one. Like we got a lot of people, but we didn't quite get as much because there was some pretty crazy weather happening around Australia time. So I'm really hoping I would love to see the cake 10 you guys call it. I'd love to see it. Absolutely packed to the brim and make sure the Kiwis come out to get behind their fellow Kiwis because I know for us Australians, when we had it a year and a half ago, that fan, that local fan support really gave us the extra edge. So hopefully New Zealand could take on the world. I think as far as the timing goes, we're absolutely nailed it. That'll be the last weekend for a lot of people for the summer holiday. So like what a nice thing to have like the carrot to dangle at the end of the summer holiday to look forward to before you get back into work for the year. And the accessibility of that stadium, like the amount of steamed walking sessions that I've had from town to that stadium in vice versa. It's just that it's I would say, I tell Jay likes drinking. I would say can you tell Jay owns a look at company.
It's perfectly situated and the town's so condensed and right down on top of each other that it's just the ease of getting in and out to mega. It's not like you've got to go miles out of town to get there. It's a perfect setup. It's a monster of a stadium too. And a full concourse that goes right around the outside of it. So there's bars and bars. It's food. Food and beverages available. Any of these beverages. There's beverages food and beverages. We saw it yesterday. I saw it over the first time yesterday at the stadium. But it's going to have one wicked little track in it for sure. So yeah, it's a bit more wide open than what it felt like at a core. And I think whatever they come up with is going to be spectacular. That's going to be sick, mate. Hey, thanks so much. We look forward to it. Like we said, we'll be pretty keen to get somebody from the other side of the world to come down and check this out because not every day that you get to see this sort of stuff and see that caliber of driver all in one space and battling it out. So look forward to coming down and checking it out. Thank you very much for putting it on and sorting it all out. And then for you putting your hand up when you probably could do with a break about that time of year.
Yeah, well, you know, maybe after the racing's done each night, maybe I can kind of see what beverage company you've kind of got your hands around there. Don't you worry about that? My son, oh, yeah. You'll be a fridge with your name written on it. Look at what he does to get in that fire. You'll get burnt, James. Warning. This podcast may cause unintentional projectile shitting, not for radio with Jay and Duncan. On that, I always said, I will get to your wall story. I have seen it on Instagram. But what are we at? Yeah, probably are due for a classic yard. I want to play one sniper line message. Now the sniper line has been down. The link's been broken. Thank you for whoever message we've now paid for our subscription or whatever it was again. A link tree fucked out or something. And now you can see this one, which is on the link tree and the link in the episode description. You can now send us more voice to be missed. So this is the first one that came through from Maddie. Well, me and the snipers, we looked at each other.
We each said, okay. So we said the first thing that came to our heads just so happened to be the best Johnny in the world. It was the best Johnny in the world. Looking to our eyes at the C2C one and one makes two two and one makes three. It's a sniper relief. Once every couple of week days or so when the bullshit starts and the fan base grows in the war story's flow. That was cool. I just imagine this is the classic booters classic yarn. Now this is this is a special classic classic yarn. I don't know if Benny put two and two together on this one. Maybe did you know the link in between this? This classic yarn. Okay. So on our final night in Glasgow we catch up with Kiwi bloke Patrick from Bruttaroa who's now living in Glasgow with his gorgeous wife. That's where they now have their life together. And fucking low-mold. It's Patti from Glasgow.
So first of all we went out we had come back from Orban. We were fucking we were pretty dusty. We were not overly enthused about going out. But I'm so glad that we did. A, they're an awesome couple. It's so nice to go into a go. We're whenever you're traveling to find a local that will kind of take you around the place. Safe set of hands. Beautiful restaurant that we went to. And then afterwards we went to a place called the pot which has over a thousand bottles of whiskey in it. And just like fucking true to form. We walk in there and there's a bloke that they're sitting at the other end. So he runs his own whiskey bar in Inverness and then one of the Bahamas randomly. He's there with his best customer and his business partner and they're like, fuck, lad, what are you doing here? So we have a couple of drums with them. The pot itself is one of the most famous bars in all of Glasgow apparently when it comes to whiskey and the bloke in behind the bar is fucking also a sniper as well. The list is in the podcast. So crazy. We get this out of all the bars that we're going to do.
We get this and it's such a cool bar. Such a rad setup. So we get this education on all these different whiskies and he's like, let me just take you around the country. Let me take you around the spot. So we sit there and what was meant to be a singular drum after, after dinner, ended up being fucked. Nice to know my place. I can tell you it was a lot more than one and somewhere just show over 100 because shit we drank some past the air. Ran into an American couple that were there on there sort of honeyman wedding as well. Yes, that's right. From Texas. And yeah, it was a bloody good night. So you're thank you very much to Patrick and your gorgeous wife as well. So this is from Patrick. Get 18 Patrick here. Long time. Listen, I mean sniper elite for a year or more. Bloody river. Anyway, this is so much better knowing that it's him. Yeah. Like me. I'm only I haven't read it. So I might be giving something away if I give you a back swing. Anyway, got away yarn from you on the topic of how calm is a bitch. So the tender age of 19, me and four of my mates decided to save up some money and travel from our hometown of Ruttaro
in New Zealand to Whistler, Canada for a four week long mountain bike trip. He's a fucking top level mountain bike for New Zealand. They were training for the World Cup down hill mountain bike racing. And me, well, I was there to ride bike strength person. Have a good time. Which I feel that I got a fucking gold medal in. We had almost reached the end of our trip and it was the night before the boy's biggest race, the crank works downhill. So they spent the night getting everything prepped and ready to excel. Me on the other hand, have my biggest night. Have my biggest night ahead of me and left them behind. I don't remember much of that night pretty standard for me, but it was a woken at 6 am by my best mate and roommate saying, you fucking prick, you pistol over my race gear. Oh no! As it turns out, I stumbled in from wherever the wind had blown me and got lost in our room. I make woke up to me pissing in the corner of our hotel room and all over his freshly laid out race kit for the next day. I then quickly went down to the laundry, got it clean, dried and said, I'm sorry, thinking that was the end of it.
Cool, how wrong I was. Post race, we started getting back into our work to celebrate when hell of a trippin' eyes presented with a large funnel filled to the top with a craft beer that I had in the fridge for a few days. I noticed everyone was filming and I assumed this was due to my hungover state. After polishing it off my mate, the victim of the previous night in for me, then he had half filled it with beer and half of his own yellow brew then I had just fucking chugged it. Carmer's a bitch, you think I'd let my lesson, but the years that would follow would say otherwise. Sorry for the David Long, he out in the motherfucking wise. Amazing, it's a great classic universe. And a great night, thanks so much for taking us out, mate. We had literally the best time. Your credit card company is hoping you don't hear this. I ended up having two days off work after it. Did that? So they had Monday, they had Monday's off, you had been going, but nothing, that was just the way they struck to their weeks. And then they had to have chews off as well because they were fucked. Yeah, we drank quarter of the piss. That was great. All went into that beautiful whiskey bar and drink nothing but tenants' logger. My man of the world has done it. Yeah, oh, man. Just give me a means. Have you got any John Tapp, thanks mate? Jesus, wouldn't mind a, uh, a, a, a Ressha's real if you've got one there mate, when he chance. You just got to do Woodstock's pick there. Yeah. I was just my guts with that DIC and as it turns out, they got DIC here on the way home that I probably made the right call because it might have been a bit more of a painful trip home. Yeah, that was just delicious. I love, like, there's something in, and I'd love to go and visit the guys and, um,
in Inverness where they've got their, their whiskey bar and, fuck, the bar, Amazon, sounds pretty cool too. I invited all of our listeners there, right? Yeah, it was a work at. I was like, hmm, bro, I don't know if that's the right call to make. Yeah, I don't know why you get so many calls. But there's something because I, I have at my age now, I have a desire to learn about, desire to learn about and collect whiskeys and wines. It's not like you can go and get like a sixor of beers and, fucking squirrel it away for a good time. I want wine, whiskey and cigars. That's what I want to start. Fuck, I'm gathering them up. They just wouldn't last in my house, say. Like, I just, like, if you can't go. But you say that you say that I guarantee that you probably, I've got, I've got a bottle, I've got a few bottles of whiskey out there, actually. Man, I've got half a pallet of piss in my garage at any one time. I got all those wine that my old man, when he moved overseas, like 25 years ago, he worked for a wine company. He's pretty knowledgeable about it. And he had it all understood you know that he asked me and my brother to go and clean out. And so like, I ended up with most of the shit at my house, including all this wine. And he's like, don't drink it.
I'm like, I won't fuck me up for bottles of it. That's great. It's like, it's like early 90s, like, like, really? Yeah. For the South Island. Yeah. Yeah, I had this conversation, my business partner, out of this morning. And he goes, I had this, he goes, I'm never, and this is kind of why I want to get, this is why I want to do it. Because if you've always bought, like, say for example, when you get into wine, and I may be wrong, this is an assumption. But you'll go, well, what's your favorite wine to buy and drink? The Ned Pino Gris. So that's fucking straight down the middle. That's consistently awesome. So for me, one of my favorites, one of my absolute favorites. Anyone will be like, that is fucking dog shit. What's the rabbit one? Rabbit Ranch? That's very good. But that's, I mean, that still sits in a, that, so the Ned and Rabbit Ranch, they sit in a relatively high, high bracket. When I first started buying and drinking wine, I'd buy Wolf Blast Merlot. You can get that shit for seven bucks sometimes. The car's a country white. The old three litres. But this is so dry, yeah. So then you go, so if you're trying to build your knowledge up
from there, you go, I like that Merlot, I like the Escheras. So how do I build up from there? And there'll be people listening to that, it's fucking dog shit. But it's great drinking cheap wine. And so you go, if you like this, that's the seven dollar bracket. If you want to spend between 10 and 20, here's another one, which is very similar, best, better, and then the best. If you're going to be spending money, here's something in that $50 to $60 bracket. And then the top of this is a fucking shadow and off the point that fucking add a thousand bucks. And I like to know where it goes, because otherwise I've got no knowledge. And we need somebody to give us that knowledge. Do you know there is pulling back the curtain on the wine industry a little bit when you're going to oversupply of grapes. Obviously you have to store them and then try and move them. So you could get like, what is the equivalent to like a... That's how we started Master of Searmix. Exactly. So it's the white labelling of other grapes. So you could get a bottle that is essentially an oversupply of saying $80 bottle of wine. That's what we had for a pen on one. Yeah. And then you put...
And then you can buy that from the supermarket and it's the white label shit stuff. It'll look like cooking wine, but maybe an $80 bottle of wine. You could also get absolute dog shit, which is less than like, say, it's where $3 bottle as opposed to the $7. Then you cook with that. Yeah. I funneled three litres of red wine wine. That's what I'm going for. I'm as you would expect. It had been in the sun for a few days. So it was the last day where we got to finish all the piss before we leave boys and there's just this goon sack of red wine just fermenting again. And I was like, I'll chop it. And I got it in and I held it down. I was like, yeah, and everyone's like, yeah, the man, then we went for a walk in a fair place. At one point, they just stopped walking and just tilted sideways into the bush. The boys like dragged me back. And I just woke up like half and half out of my tent with a face full of like dirt and vomit. Yeah. That's a good life, Lisa. So don't funnel three litres of red wine. You know, that was the 2025 summer of Benning. Yeah. Yeah. That was last week in an hour, Cody. I would love to go back to Scotland and Ireland and do like a whiskey tour and go around
all the different distilleries and fucking start collecting some bottles and send them back. And it'll be fun to have the stones and some LJ. You know, the stone lifting they don't. Skimming? I know. Not the skimming. No, the skimming. Moving on for that. I found some other sports for you too. Yeah. Did they involve drinking person having zero athletic ability? Because if so, yeah. It's throwing black pudding onto like the top of a little stick. They do that in Manchester. So that could be a bit of a year. Also, we saw the fucking road cones over everything. It's just a little bit. I love it. Yeah, they put them on all the statues. Yeah, I loved it. Right, yep. That'll do. Upper wards have a great weekend, everyone.
