From Tally to Cali, it's time to wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Warchant.com is your ultimate seminal sports source. And this is Wake Up Warchant. Percent of byconics. Now here's Warchant.com's ass on Hodge of Andy. And Corey Clark. Wake up! Warchant presented by Cummins coming up on today's show Mega Stat Bomb from Corey that pretty much lets us know it's over, over. Who's going to make all the important decisions ahead? And should there be a quarterback battle next week? It's the rest of the mailbag. Wake up! Warchant is presented by Cummins, follow Cummins lifestyle on Instagram. Cummins so big and bad, we had to do two mailbag shows this week because Florida states not doing great. Everybody's you can tell, but we're all having fun together hopefully for at least an hour and a half or so. When you watch Jeff Cameron show and listen to headlines and we can kind of you know wallowing our misery.

But it's gonna be all right. It's gonna be all right. Let's hope it's not a let's hope it's not another hour and a half. Let's let's we had an hour and a half when in the firm we can't have a three hour mailbag. Let's I'll try my best. I'm going to do my best to leave it right at an hour. Famous last words. Maybe a little less. Maybe we'll do 52 minutes or something. If there was an over under on polymarket. Polymarket partner. I'll the over under for the duration of the show as soon as you said, I'll try to keep myself and check it in. And he started climbing up. Yeah. That's true. Poor chance dot com. Your ultimate semmel sport source rate review subscribe thumbs up all the good stuff out there. And obviously subscribe to workchant.com. Check out everything we got on our YouTube channel as well as over at the website. Corey. We got a slower weekend. No, no action for the noles, but lots of other games going on. We recorded this before the Miami fam game. So we can't give you any news on that or thoughts on that one. But how are you doing, man? The you hold it hanging in there. Man, I know you're we were up late.

We were up super late on Monday and then the blood into the rest of the week. You you doing all right to break it just sick or something? I think yeah, I think that it done. I'm used to being a plate. So that's not the issue. I think I had to do with you know, Brady's been he's been hanging around parts and Tallahassee. The certain clubs and bars and stuff where I think maybe he brought a little Ick home. It's it's it's to be you know, expected with a with a college kid. So you know, Carol over there, huh? As like sitting here to the child. It's like sitting here to daycare all over again. Right. And so yeah, so I've been dealing with that not feeling great. Had to miss coach speak had to miss Norvell on Thursday. Just in the morning, I just it's rough, man. It's I feel a little I feel better as the day goes on. But in the morning, it was rough. And then with coach speak, that's supposed to be a fun frivolous show. And I'm not in the mood to joke around when I when I'm sick and I just will and I'm groggy. So I had to had to skip that one. So I apologize to everyone. But I think they put I think they did want anyway. They did. They did. They look out for that.

There's no way it's as good. It's going to be 33% less good. But they did do one of those as well. So go check that out. 33.3% less good. Yeah. I was proud of that. I was a lot of face time for a guy Ben Spicer. Did he really really good? He did a really great job. I feel like so I do go check out coach speak. Before we talk about the coach speaking from yesterday on Thursday, you start again, some thoughts, intrusive thoughts in your mind late on Wednesday. And I think you gathered up some more dad and listen everybody. And in case you're new around these parts, go watch the war chant rap after the Georgia tech game in Dublin. You only have to watch for about 90 seconds. And Corey with an absolutely sizzling hot tank that is still nuclear hot and fresh. You went right for it and was like, you know what? I think what I'm asking myself out for this game in which Florida state had whatever six, seven possessions and could only muster 20 points.

21 maybe 20. Yeah. 21. And this guy went without Jordan Travis. Erie. Oh, hey, come on. Relax now. Let's think I carried away. I don't know. Corey, have you found more data that supports your position? Yeah, I have. So they played Mike Norvell's offense. So this doesn't include it. I'm going to write this. I think I'm going to wait till after the Alabama game because they might win it. And I don't want to I don't want to spoil it. Come on. And the offense might be awesome. But in Mike Norvell offenses, so we exclude 2025 because that was Gus Mausons offense. We all understand that. And that, you know, they went five and seven that year. So nobody's, you know, smacking themselves on the back for that one. They played 24 games with with a Mike Norvell offense in this program where Jordan Travis wasn't the predominant quarterback. So like the Wake Forest game of 2021, he played some but got hurt. But McKenzie Milton started the Miami game in 2020, 2020 maybe he played a little bit, but not much. I was a James Blackman thing. But anyway, that's the parameters 24 games where Jordan Travis wasn't the primary quarterback.

24. They're five and 19. Two of those wins were New Mexico State this year in Charleston, Southern, in 2024. So wipe those off the board completely. They don't they don't count. They literally to me don't count. Three in 19 in the other 22. And those three wins were a win at Florida where you threw for 130 yards and your defense was incredible. The Florida scored one touchdown. A win in Charlotte where I believe Louisville did not score a touchdown. And then a win in 2024 when you beat Cal 14 to nine where Cal did not score touchdown. So in the three wins against real teams with when Jordan Travis has not been the quarterback for a Mike Norvell offense at this school, the three wins they've had the opposing offenses of scored a grand total of one touchdown. And that's why you won those three games. You've averaged 14.4 points per game. When Jordan Travis is not the quarterback of a Mike Norvell system.

The 24 you put up on the board against SMU in the 300 big yard. The 24 is the most they've ever scored in a game where Jordan Travis wasn't the quarterback. Again, this does not include 20 25 because that was a Gus offense. So I want to go ahead and give. I can't remember the person's name that asked the question that was criticizing the media for like, why did y'all? Why did y'all just kind of pass over the fact that Mike Norvell was getting the offensive coordinator job back after what happened in 2024? I don't remember who that was, but he should already get. Okay, he should be the winner. He needs to be the winner. I don't know. I don't know. We got other questions coming. That's the generating discussion because the more I thought about it, like there's no excuse for how bad that offense was in 24. There's none. Anybody that's good at their job that is an offensive mastermind or even a sort of mastermind. You don't have an offense like that that averaged, I think they're 130th in the country. They averaged 13 or 14 points per game. They had more games where they scored one touchdown than they scored three.

In fact, I don't know that they had a game against an FBS opponent where they scored three touchdowns. In fact, I know they didn't. It's the worst offense in school history. You get a reprieve from that in 2025 and then you give the offense right back to the guy that ran that thing. And the reason I sound like this now is because of what we saw on Monday night. I grant you everything. I grant you the fact that maybe they look better against Alabama. Maybe this thing turns around against Central Arkansas and Virginia and this thing gets rolling. It looks like a real offense again. But it's hard to believe it will when you think about what this offense has looked like for seven years when anybody but Jordan Travis is the quarterback. And I think it was like not only do they averaged 14.4 points per game in these non-Jordan games. I think the passing yards are like 150 with 15 touchdowns and 25 interceptions and 70 something sacks in a 22 game span. That's not a small sample size. And I don't know that Ashen Daniels is going to make any of those numbers better.

And it's because I got to the point when I was thinking about that question and doing this research. I'm going to write this story at some point. It's like I'm tired of blaming the quarterbacks, man. There's a common denominator between McKinsey Milton, James Blackman, Chubba Purdy, Ashen Daniels, DJ, Brock, Chromon Hawk. Tommy. It's the guy. Well, Tommy, Tommy, you said Gus. You're sorry, but it's the guy that's coached him. The guy that's running this offense for whatever reason because I know it worked at Memphis. They don't even have a, they don't have even a mediocre passing attack when it's not Jordan Travis. It is horrific and it has been by every metric. And so when you watch what you watched on Monday night and I'm sitting here and I'm thinking, man, Ashen just doesn't see it well. You've got to get somebody in there that can throw it. You got to get somebody that sees it quick and gets rid of the ball. It's like, man, maybe that just doesn't happen in this guy's offense unless you're

otherworldly Jordan Travis. Maybe that's the only way it can work. So anyway, that's where I'm at, but I'm also not feeling great. So I apologize coming out of the, coming out of the gates being that negative. But I think we talk about the broken, he's broken as a head coach or people lose the message or this or that. Man, his offense sucks. That's the, that's the biggest problem. He is an offensive mind. He's at Florida State because of his offense and by and large because Jordan Travis has no eligibility left. And that dude's not here. His offense has been a disaster, not just bad, not just mediocre, an absolute disaster. And without Jordan Travis, like I said, he's three in 19 in the 22 games where Jordan Travis hasn't been his quarterback. Yuck. I said five in 19. Oh, against real teams. He is, but I don't count, I don't count into Mexico state. I should, but New Mexico state and Charleston Southern are two of the five. Right. So that's why I get. Like it's power, power teams. Three in 19. And again, I think it's, it's also the, you know, not to take anything at all away from

just how great Jordan Travis was. But I think, you know, he didn't hit the ground running in 2020, right? I mean, you know, a little bit up and down 2021. They didn't believe in him from the jump. And then once they did kind of put their full weight behind him, then we saw him kind of, you know, slowly ascend and then 2022, you know, things started getting on the right track. Like he, he's never, he's never had two years with any of these guys. Although, you know, AJ Duffy, Brock Glen, Kerman Hawk, you know, I guess Kerman Hawk was in here for two years. Rod maker. They never hear for several, several years and they still never got it. So who are we to say if Ash and Dale's had another year, he would understand and get it. But also Kenny was calling plays. So maybe we should blame Kenny. But it was still, it was a Norbell offense. It was Norbell's offense and he had his hand prints all over it. I'm just up the opinion and I get it. You could, you could, you could say that it was Kenny calling plays, but that's a Norbell slash Kenny offense. We understand that. Norbell wasn't telling Gus what to do at all last year. That was a complete Gus Malzahn operation from start to finish and Malzahn, and I don't

think Norbell had anything at all to do with what they did. So when Norbell is mostly in charge or completely in charge, it's been a, it's been a disaster without Jordan Travis and he's, Jordan Travis isn't coming back. News flash and it's hard to imagine. Again, I know it's, I feel reactionary because it was one game. But it looked so much like the 2024 team as far as the passing operation. It doesn't matter that you have NFL wide receivers. It doesn't matter how good or bad the offensive line is or if you have a really good running back for whatever reason this, this offense does not utilize the passing game like it needs to in 2026. There's nobody run and open. And if there is, your quarterbacks don't ever see him. And it's a, it's a problem. And the fact that doose, doose Robinson has five catches for 75 yards through two games. Malachi Tony had that in one drive. And I know Malachi is awesome. I get it. But doose, so was doose Robinson.

And it would appear this coach in his offense doesn't know how to utilize weapons in the passing game. Unless he's got it like if you know, and I know people can hear that go, yeah, man, if rent lashley had a bad quarterback, the offense wouldn't be as good. But I have the confidence that rest, rent lashley would figure out how to get his quarterback to see what he's supposed to see in scheme things open. Almost ABC type elementary type plays were looking at this is going to be open. It's not happening here. It did not happen at all on Monday night. That was very frustrating. And the fact that you have a fourth, fifth year quarterback who seems scared to throw the ball downfield is troubling. It's troubling because of the guy that's offense just doesn't seem to get it done in the passing gate. It doesn't. It's been the worst passing offense, probably in the power for for the last, I don't know how you measure it, but they're not Jordan Travis here. So it's been perfect.

Any thoughts on his comments from Thursday's availability? Seems like he was asked and I already did a story about that final drive and just how disappointing it was. Sounds like he thought there were some things there possibly. And if you do go back and watch the final drive, the drive when it was 24 all and they got the ball back after the interception. So you're not talking about the one with 25 seconds. Right, right. I apologize about the one where they had the game was really in the balance. Yeah. Yeah. So if you do go back and watch that first downplay, Ashen hands it off and pretty much, you know, after he hands it off, not shortly thereafter, he turns around like claps his hand kind of and discuss like, oh, I should have kept that. But I don't think that would have really gone for anything more than maybe four or five yards, but it was better than a gain of zero. And then second and five, maybe you're in a little bit better spot. But that's where the second five would have turned into third and five. And we still been the same, basically the same spot. Yeah. Anyways, here's what we I carved out for everybody on the internet from Norville's about 16 minutes at the podium.

This was his last response, just kind of about, you know, how much better can they get? Where do they kind of go? Here's Mike Norville from Thursday, everybody. The failures we had as a, you know, as a staff, as an offensive defense and even as special teams, which was good for us. I mean, there's still some plays that were absolutely left out there that we feel like we could have been better in. But we all take accountability to it. Tony showed them on film. Like, this is a practice room that we were. This is a play that actually showed up and this is our, then shows the game clip. And those, some of those things in those moments, like you just, you have to, we have to be able to apply. It's one of the things that was brought up for our team, but you know, and our coaches. I mean, just the, the way that they've come out, you know, this week, I mean, this is it. We work really hard. Like, and this is like, I've been around a lot of staffs and this group is, you know, they're, they're pouring into these guys. And I think that's one of the reasons why you turn on the film.

Our football team plays hard. Like, they play with, with heart. They play with passion, effort, like, but the details, they have to show up, you know, for coaches. We got to make sure that we're still putting them in the best position, things they can accomplish for whatever we see. But I'm grateful for, for the work and the way the guys have approached this week. And you know, I'm excited to see this team the way that they bounce back. They play hardcore. They have heart. It kind of gives Mike Norval heart. I think he's taking a lot of this, I mean, it is me being a little poppsychology. I think he's taking all this, like, really personally, just, you know, the, the, the, the booze and, you know, seemingly the media turning on him. Listen, we're just kind of reporting what we feel like and what we've seen here. But I think he still believes like these guys believe in him. So he's going to keep showing up and giving all he has, which is admirable in a way, but also it feels mildly delusional. I remember, maybe I had to lose, let's rude. They are, they are working hard.

But I mean, isn't everybody, I mean, isn't Vanderbilt and Vanderbilt's probably bad example. I'm sure Sarah Cusis practicing hard. Truly, I really think Sarah Cusis is probably out there straining, trying their best. And they probably come up for five plays short in the loss. You came up nine. Just these are, I don't know, creative ways, Cory, to kind of keep yourself when everything else is crumbling around you to still wake up and go to work and give it all you got against. Yeah, man, I don't question that the team is going to try and it's going to practice hard. That's fine. They're competitors. And they're, you know, honestly, they're compensated to do so. So they need to practice hard. That's like the base, that's a base minimum. The teams of the 90s practiced hard too, they were also really well coached in awesome football players. You're missing the final two pieces of that right now. You don't have a lot of awesome football players. And neither side of the ball is well coached. So it is nice that they're practicing hard and they're coaching hard and they care. But that's baseline, man. This isn't, you know, this isn't the AAC and this isn't Memphis or Tulsa like that.

That's not, this is, this is a big boy program. We, nobody cares, nobody really cares that you're trying hard. That's what you're supposed to do. That's what a, that's what like when Tulsa goes in place, USC, man, our boys really laid it out there. They played really hard. They tried. They gave it all they had. Made a Florida state, you're supposed to be proud of the final score in the records you accumulate. Not that your guys try hard. That's not what Florida state is, man. And I get he has nothing positive to say. So he's kind of saying that. But I, and I, and also again, I'm just in a bad space, I think because I'm not feeling great. But I don't, I think a lot of people hear that and they just don't care. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm being Mr. Negative and I'm finding the fault in everything he says. But I don't think anybody cares that they're trying hard or he's proud of the way they fought. Man, that is, come on. Who cares? Like who cares that they fought hard? At some point, you have to win games.

At some point, you have to teach a quarterback to throw a forward pass to a receiver that hopefully is broken open. That happens all over the country. Happens against your defense three times a quarter. So you've got to figure that out. And I think that's all people are going to want to hear as long as this continues is, what are you doing to make the team better? Not try harder or care more. What is happening to make the team actually perform better? And I just want to stress again, because I don't want people to think this is reaction. It is a brand new team. There's 61 new players. It's a new coaching staff. And this season is not over. We are still in the early stages of September. But what, what that looked like a Monday night to me was so defeating. But not it, I mean, it has a lot to do with what happened in the years, in the prior two years. But I was just hoping for so much more than what I saw, like just a team that looked overmatched. And I don't think they're overmatched talent wise. They might be overmatched. Coaching acumen wise. I don't know.

Quarterback wise, I don't know. But you to lose the yardage battle by 270 yards at home is not, and that goes both ways. Your defense wasn't good, but neither was your offense. So I don't know, man, I want to know, and I think people, when you watch what happened on Monday night, you're like, well, it's not going to go any better in Tuscaloosa. You're sitting here wanting to again, again, and you got Central Arkansas, Yeehaw, and then it's Virginia. And it's like, that's to me now, unless it goes great in Tuscaloosa, are horribly wrong, like horribly bad, which I think both of us think that's more likely a possibility than going and playing well and winning. But if either one of those two extremes happen, it's a different conversation. Otherwise, it's all pointing towards Virginia. Like that's a home game against the team. You spend more money on them than against a coach that's in this third year, year and year seventh.

And there's really no excuse at home. I don't care what their record is and what your record is. Your Florida state, their Virginia, you should be beating a team like that at home and beating them, you know, significantly. And I just don't trust it. Don't trust it because of, you know, everything we've seen, but also that offense. His offense that he's been here without Jordan Travis, who is not eligible, will not be on the roster. You could try to sneak him in. They don't know what Malachi Marshall looks like. They can just say this is our new quarterback. Yeah, unless you sneak him in, I just think it's not going to go well and nobody's going to care that you're proud of the way they fought. Because it's Florida state. The standards are higher than good job for playing hard. Year five for our guy Tony Elliott, my guy Tony. Oh, it's only year five. It's year five. Year five, every day, 2022. He started. So, um, I know we got to get to the questions in the mail bag. But we had a mutual friend of ours emailed me a very long email about their concerns.

And they were talking about in the email. Is this the best receiving core top to bottom that Mike has had in his tenure? You could argue Keon and Johnny were a better duo than Ducin Dansey, but we have capable depth with bogs and the young crop behind them. So, and that's one of the things I feel like we felt maybe supremely confident about going into the season was their skill, namely what they had out wide. So I don't know if we want to compare real quickly. Johnny and Keon to Ducin Dansey or would another more apt exercise be does the 2023 offense still look the way it does if you swap out Johnny and Keon for Ducin Dansey? Keon was a pretty special dude, man. He made some special plays that I'm not sure either one of these guys can make. I think Ducin is better than Johnny though. And Dansey is not as good as Keon so maybe it all equals out in the wash. I think a better question is what would the 2023 team have looked like with Ashton Daniels

a quarterback? Honestly, how many wins do you think? They lose to pit for sure because they didn't have his receivers. Jordan Travis happened to throw for a career high like 370 in the game against pit where they didn't have their Keon are Johnny because Jordan Travis was awesome. But I don't know what their record is. And look, they beat Florida, they beat Louisville without Jordan Travis. I don't know that they're number three in the country. At that day, it's something to play for in the swamp. And then it's something to play for in Charlotte obviously. They thought they were playing for a playoff spot in an ACC championship. But I don't even know if they get to Charlotte if Ashton's the quarterback. I couldn't be wrong. Maybe that thing was dialed up so great that it wouldn't have mattered. I don't think they beat Clemson. I don't think they beat pit. I don't, I mean, is there, whether Miami, that was a close game. Probably not, I mean, just go understand everyone. The most points they've ever scored when Jordan Travis isn't the quarterbacks 24 points. 24 points. They had Jordan and they had Johnny and Keon and Trent Benson and Gainesville.

They were all there in Charlotte too. They managed to score 24 points and 16 points. And Toa Feeley was the reason why they scored a touchdown. So I don't know. I think it's a good receiving core. I just wonder what is it matter? Right now. And again, I'm kind of defeated. It's been a long couple years. It's been a long couple of days. If it doesn't look any better against Alabama, and it might, man, it might. I don't trusted it will. I don't have confidence to will. But what if he does throw for 280? What if it looks like a real passing offense? Or what if Malachi marshals the guy and he comes in and sees it in season the way Mike sees it and gets out of his hands in time. And he see he throws it to guys when they're breaking open and said, I did not see in them. It can change. It's just, it's just hard to believe that it will. So what do we keep them? Just give them more money, give them a better roster. Is that what you're who? Norville? Yeah. Oh no. Well, just you got somebody here that can maybe take somebody that can run an offense

with it, they can throw the ball and bring in your own quarterback. All right. Let's take one question before we talk about how awesome the corner pocket bar and grill is. Anon Noel. Looks like they took advantage of that sign up special. There you go. Smart active, active. They joined on Tuesday. They've already posted 21 times. There you go. Call the bug. What if FFSU completely in by way, there's going to be a lot of questions today, everybody. So if you don't want to hear about what's going to happen if this doesn't work out, I don't know. Maybe go check out the replay of the Thursday smash. Hmm. There you go with Tom Lang and I or Shovel. What if FSU completely broke the mold once they fire Mike Norville? For decades, the business model allowed universities to run like mom and pop operations albeit large, but still headed by one CEO coach, setting all directions. Seems like the college fan is still looking for their programs Messiah that may not even be a realistic role in this new landscape. Kurt Signetti laughs. What if FSU hired a professional front office NFL general manager, management style and

hired a solid exes and owes guy to hand a roster to not this wishy washy hybrid model, a true GM that delegates recruiting, scouting budgeting, et cetera, and hires a head coach whose only job is play what he's handed. I don't know. I think that is not what keeps a lot of these guys in college. They like the power. They're cool sharing some of it, but they don't want. I don't know, man. Is Ryan Day really just saying, hey, man, whatever you got, that's cool. I trust you. You know, I'm sure he's, but the theory of it makes sense, right? Like the NFL knows what it's doing. I mean, they don't they don't make make Vey and Andy Reed. They're not in there making every decision on the roster and figuring out salary budgets and stuff. They're not doing that. You give them a roster, them and their coaches figure out who they and their coaches figure out who they're going to play and they play and they come up with game plans and schemes and all the good fun stuff. So it makes sense to do it that way. I think the problem with that theory or that hope right now is there isn't like a John,

who's the John Lynch of college football that you know is just going to put together a great roster for you? This is so fresh and so new, these GM roles in college that there's nobody that's proven. There's nobody that you can go and get and say, that's a guy that builds a roster unless maybe Indiana, but we don't know if Indiana is that mostly signety is that his guy? That's what that's what would that's what's the problem right now in 10 years. Every school might be doing this. It's hard for Florida State to be the first to go through that wall and be like, yeah, man, we are we are focusing our search on a GM. We do not care that much about the head coach right now. Right now GM is the most important and I would think you would argue, Aslan, that in the NFL, it seems like it's 50, 50, right? GM and head coach as far as importance to a franchise. Yeah. It's really important that GMs are incredibly important and they're well, well compensated. So it's like GM head coach and quarterback are like the three, the three main parts of a NFL franchise and that's going to become probably the norm in college football, but we're

so we're so new into this that I just if there was a guy that you say, yes, slam dunk, he's the guy that's the best GM in the country. Go get him. He will put together a great roster. I would spin whatever it takes to get a guy that knows what he's looking at and can evaluate. It's not and you can say, well, Jimbo would be good at that or somebody like Jimbo that has a history of really good player development. Well, Jimbo left before this started. So it's different to be able to see a 17 year old Devonte Freeman and be like, man, I think in two years, he might be a legitimate running back because I mean, high school recruiting is important in that matters. I'm not saying a Devonte Freeman wouldn't matter, but you also have access to the all Mac running back from Miami, Ohio that's ready to play right now and you have to make those decisions. So it's a really it's a different job than what what guys from like 10 years ago or five years ago would put together great rosters. It's just different. So good question. I'm not saying they shouldn't do it. There's certainly not going to be a Kirby smart Kurt signety or Lane Kiffin available.

So you're going to have to get a guy that doesn't have probably a huge name to be your head coach and you're going to have to get him some somebody that could put a roster together. So somebody else somebody needs to. Corn to ESPN reporting from December of last year, unlike almost every other program in the power for Indiana does not have a general manager. Signety says, quote, I'm the GMN head coach. I'm organized. I'm good with numbers. My name is on this. I spent a lot of years getting to this point. I'm the best one to do it. Are we cool though? You know, this kind of goes a back a little bit. Corey too. And we got to get going because we got so many questions and I don't want to go too long on this one. This goes back to kind of Mike's hole. Like I know what it looks like. I mean, I'm comfortable with that kind of 50, 50 split that we talked about NFL wise break the mold. Let's do that here in college. But I'm also kind of fine with a head coach who knows what he wants. And has a good there is assertive and confident in going after those guys. So, you know, I mean, I don't know how much that's looked like. Like Lane is able to do. Ryan Day is able to do. Like, you know, I don't think Joy McGuire is doing that.

I really do think of the GM Blanchard James Blanchard, I think. I think he's the guy that's really setting the table. But if you know these things, like if you're a Glenn Schuman, I'm cool giving you like 75, 25% latitude to be like, listen, this is what we need. Go find me these guys and then report back to me. I'll tell you whether or not that's like a thumbs up, thumbs down. Yeah. Yeah. Glenn Schuman is the DC at Georgia. So he's seen a lot of really good players in his time in Athens. So that's why I was always attracted to heart line. That's why I'm attracted to even though how state AD or OC, not just because he has a ton of money, but because he's, you know, he's also been in the NFL. He's been a head coach in the NFL. He knows what great players look like. And I just want that. I don't know that Mike does or did, you know what I mean? I don't think that that's necessarily the, what he's proven to be a depth at is knowing what real high level college football talent looks like because I mean, we've lived through the last seven years.

I mean, he did in 2023, but he clearly doesn't know how to find the diamonds and the rough, I guess, because yeah, I mean, I mean, I mean, I was going to be like, he on, yeah, bring in Keon, bring in Braden Fisk. Yeah, we could see that. Yeah. And Jared verse, we all got that. We all can see that, right? Like I, and he did other things too. I'm not diminishing his role in those two teams, but a lot of search it in the rough for diamonds instead of going to the diamond store. The diamond goes to the diamond like heart line knows he can, he knows what a diamond is. He's around him all the time or was in a heart line for those that don't know is the wide receivers coach and then became the OC at Ohio State. Oh, that's what I want to bring up real quick, real quick. Watch in the game on Wednesday night, the sea hawks and the who they beat. Patriots. The sea ox have the best receiver in the league or one of them, Jackson Smith, a bright heartline product, by the way, from Ohio State. They lose the sea hawks lose their starting quarterback on the fifth play of the game. Somehow miraculously, even though they all know who Jackson Smith and Jigba is, they know

his number. He's on the scouting report and the sea hawks are playing with the backup quarterback and the Patriots are very good defense. They still found a way magically, unbelievably to get their best player of the ball a lot. And he scores what ends up being a pivotal touchdown in that game. It's cool to see, you know, offensive minds figure out ways to get their best players to ball. That's all. And true luck is not sensational, but he got to throw. He has a really good receiver and they threw to him a lot. Corey, what's your comfort food at the CP when you're feeling a little bit down? Got the crud. You know, the last couple times I've gone back to the corn dog bites. And what I do, if you're ever in there with me, it's like 20 of them. I'm not eating 20 corn dog bites. I usually eat like four or five. And then I pass it around the table, some eat some don't. I give it to the server. See if they want it. I'll go to other tables and say, look, I haven't touched these. I'm not being a weirdo. Here's some free corn dog bites. Like I'm a free advertisement. So that's mine is the corn dog bites.

We're back to wake up, poor champ. We are presented by Cummins, Cummins lifestyle, part two of the mail bag. You're barely into it.

Corey, I got a, we got a detour us real quick again. Um, what is that? I thought you're going back to the mail bag. All right. Yeah. What are your thoughts on Pete and Echoes is reporting about hot seat, which, which weird because I think all he does is either warm or hot. Love you, Pete. And I think like maybe Greg Shionno's hot like there's, there isn't like a flaming hot seat, which I feel like that should be norvel. It's like either warm or hot norvel seat is hot, but the reporting that I wanted to get your thoughts on Pete and Echoes, $100 million price tag, $100 million, send this guy and everybody else away bringing a new staff and the roster that you would want. And I don't know if that counts rev share probably doesn't count the rev share. Does that make Jimbo a more viable candidate? How many of you could probably get on the cheap like three years, $10 million?

Or does that number sound moderately hyperbolic to you? Although I mean, what, like 48 of it's going to go to Mike the leave. So yeah, I think you're paying probably 60 to 65 million and, and buyouts for the coaches that are on the staff, at least probably 60. You got to pay the new coaching staff to come in. Um, and then yeah, there's probably, I don't know that includes the rev share money. Um, or maybe it does. I don't know. I don't think it includes the rev share. I think it's on top of what you would pay for the rev share. Um, Jimbo, look, we're going to have a lot of time for this discussion, I think. Um, I, I would, I would be okay with him coming back. I wonder the ego, would he be willing, even though he doesn't need the money to be paid like that? Yeah. I wonder if he thinks that says something about his value. If he's only paid $3.3 million, he's the lowest paid member. He's the lowest paid coach in the ACC. Do we think Jimbo Fisher would be okay with that? That's a real question. Like I don't know that I don't know that his ego would be like, I'm making less than the boss

in college coach or you know, he's on ACC network trying to get a job. I get it, but I don't know. I still think he has the ego, man. And I don't know that his ego would allow him to be paid the, the least paid. Um, and also don't need, no, that you need to do that. He, he, he, he, he's on the lowest, he's on the lowest rung of ESPN programming. He's not even ESPN you, you know, like it's, it's not the SEC network. He's not ESPN too. He's not doing college football. Because he doesn't want this. I think he'd be good. I think he's good at TV. I think he wants to be a head coach. He's not trying to climb some ladder like EJ, uh, shout out to EJ, by the way. I, I think that, uh, I think he wants to be a head coach. So yeah, I know. I, I, I think you, you, I, money almost there's no object right now, man. You can, I was thinking about it while you were asking that question. It's like, man, I would literally, I would make Lincoln Riley and Rhett Lashley, one of the two have to tell me no chance. I, I would, I would say I'm going to look, you, you, you, you, USC hates you. You're never going to be Pete Carroll.

You're not going to win the big 10. Your offense would thrive down here with these athletes. Are you kidding me, Lincoln Riley? Are you kidding me? You're going to be able to do in the ACC, what you did in the big 12 with Oklahoma. You will torch these teams and you're going to be the bell, the ball again instead always being on a warm seat. I would make him say no to me. And mainly that's because, uh, you know, I'm tired of this offense. And I want to, I want an offense. I want to watch a real quarterback play football again. That's fun receivers that go and get to make play. So, uh, but I think I know I, I was, I was, I was have joking when money is no object, but when you're already spending a hundred million dollars, like you know this is a huge investment. You can't get this wrong again. You can't get it wrong again. You've been 10 years in the wilderness with two years in there where you, you found yourself, but eight out of the last 10 years, you've been in the flipping wilderness. You've got to go get somebody that you know will be, will bring a big offense to this town, bring a quarterback to this town and bring wins back to this town.

I think Lincoln Riley or Rhett Lashley are automatic calls. Jeff Brahm, maybe although it's going to be hard to get him for, like I shoot high. And this is me talking in September. I understand they're probably going to get the coach from rice or somebody. Florida got the guy from two lane before that they got the guy from Louisiana. Before that, they got the guy from Western Michigan or wherever, uh, Mississippi. Yeah. Well, wherever, wherever, where was Mackle. Mackle was that, yeah, it was a Western Michigan. Our state. Yeah, there you go. He was at Central Michigan. The Colorado state, like you're not going to get a, you're probably not going to get a Lincoln Riley. But by God, maybe he's just looking for a change and I would ask. All right. Let's get to the mail bags as much as we can. Jimbo, did we go Jimbo route? Make Lincoln Riley say no first. And I'm not trying to advocate for Jim. I'm just talking about that. $100 million is if that's a scary man. Nine figures. That is a scary figure. See, pile 17. Do we think there's a chance Mike Norvel opens up the quarterback competition on the biweek? Or does he just desire to see another game without being able to throw a forward pass?

And then I also think Jimbo 11 wake up after the late night Monday. I'm thinking about grabbing a nap. Daniel 6 and 21 as a starting quarterback. And we have already seen his weaknesses expose. I wondered if you guys know how the team would react if he was benched in favor of Malachi, Marshall, who has not been here very long with the team except or resent the change. So Corey, what do we think? Are we are we using this week to find the best option at quarterback? And do we think that it would be a, everybody wants to win Jimbo 11, right? I think Corey, like if this guy gives us the best chance to win. If this is the guy that's at practice doing the best, we are totally fine. Letting him be the starting quarterback. Yeah, he's only been here for three months. Ashton's been here for what eight like that, whatever, you know, and I think do some action have a good relationship. I think they're friends. It sounds like they're friends. Maybe is with Dancy too. He's a really cool kid. But I don't, I don't know that dooses friendship with Ashton Daniels, mattered much in the locker room post game when he had two catches in the, on the biggest stage. He'll have the, or one of the biggest stages they'll have this season. So, you know, friendship only goes so far.

You also want to produce and want to win. It if Malachi Marshall gives them the best chance to win, fine. I do think I would hope, God, I would hope that they're using these two weeks to sprinkle in Malachi Marshall and with the first team just to see what it looks like. And if it gets out of hand in Tuscaloosa, I absolutely think Marshall would come in, maybe get a series or two, maybe play the whole fourth quarter if it's out of reach. And I think that's a possibility, gang. That, and then you go to Central Arkansas and just cut bait with Ashton Daniels. I think if it looks the same as it did, if it looks the same as it did against SMU. But then again, I just want to reiterate, I don't blame Ashton Daniels for any of this, man. He's not getting coached well, just like Tate Rodermaker didn't, Shubba Purti didn't, James Blackman didn't, DJ Uwi Ungolay didn't, Brock Linden, Luke Kromenhuck didn't. Like, I, this is not an Ashton Daniels problem. This is a Mike Norbell offense teaching quarterbacks how to play his offense problem. And I'm not really all, all that confident that whoever they put back there will make much of a difference.

We've seen how many different guys that we've seen, all different types of sizes, ability, running, throwing, thick, skinny, black, white, it has, it hasn't mattered, Aslan. They have not been good, except for the one, one out of 10. And so odds are it won't matter much with Malachi. I think Aslan Daniels though, if you just hold, if you just go with what you're, when you go with what your plan was when the season started, they want to be a running team. He helps that. But if he doesn't make any better decisions in the passing game where he can't see it or Norbell can't scheme it open, I wouldn't mind seeing a change, but it might just be, you know, shifting the shares on the Titanic. Hugo Noel wake up, John. And I think this is my second question ever despite wake up war chain being my favorite. There we go. I'm underlined podcast for the last six years, LOL, Aslan. Core, you guys are the best. Thank you. Hugo. Thank you. Hey, on his questions, one, what happened over there?

I couldn't see I was in the other time. I hit my four arm on this, this sweet, sweet quarter pocket stool. Got a, got a nerve there. That's a, that's a, something. It was just the week continues. Yeah. All right. He's got a couple of questions. One, what questions do you think FSU failed to ask or didn't put enough weight on when hiring Mike Norvell that need to be part of the next interview process? Two, what is the most important lesson that Michael offered and the board of trustees need to learn from the Norvell era to avoid making the same mistakes with the next hire? Go Noel. Yeah, very good question. Me personally, I think the mistakes are the last two guys after Jimbo. What Jimbo had, you know, Willie had head coaching experience, Norvell had head coaching experience. Jimbo did not. But Jimbo had been in big boy football for 15 years. He had been around it. He'd been a, the OC on a national championship team. He coached under Sabin. I think that kind of stuff matters.

And maybe how an organization is supposed to be run, but moreover, what talent looks like? And how to go get it? It's one thing to put up 50 on Tulsa when you're the head coach of Memphis. It's another thing to go try to beat Florida and the swamp with a backup quarterback and your offense isn't very good. You know, I think so I think that that's I would not and I just said they should go higher Lincoln Riley. I know they should also go higher Sean McVeigh. I think that if I'm making this higher, I am not going to get a head coach from a smaller conference. I'm not doing it. You did that with Willie. I know he was an organ for one year. He had Justin Herbert. They won seven games and when Justin Herbert didn't play, they got annihilated. But he was the head coach at USF. The reason he got the job at Florida State was because of he was what he did at USF. I don't care. He did, you know, and he was a Western Kentucky before that. But you're not going to outline though, Corey. How does the bride and bride are lying? Don't highlight was in a high state.

Yeah, he had that he has that history. So I want somebody that has a history of being in a blue blood program that is used to win. Not just even not just being in a program, but winning things. I just think that stuff matters. And I don't know what they got wrong when it came came to Norbell. I don't think they had any idea and you can't. You don't know when the AAC, the quarterback evaluation, you just can't know because you, you, you, you, you don't know when you're, when you're averaging those kind of points and yards at Memphis did so much of it was because they had just better talent. Then, then of other AACs that had more resources. They're in a more fertile recruiting ground. They had better players. And that Memphis is always good. That's why their coaches keep leveling up, man. And so don't, don't get, don't get fooled by winning at a smaller school or, you know, a lesser school, lesser program.

Figure out what they know about the quarterback position. Because what, what, there's no way you could have known in 2019. Oh, Norbell's going to be horrible at this. But, you know, he also was never around big time. I don't know. I just keep saying the same things over and over again. I'm not, but I just, I, I would go get a guy that has been around, been in championship stages, been on championship stages, been around a bunch of NFL players. Yeah. Give me a guy that's been around a bunch of NFL players because before, if Florida state's going to get back and it will at some point, they don't get back with a bunch of three stars that are Johnny try hards. They get back with five star bad asses that go play in the NFL and their first and second round picks. Go get me somebody that knows what that looks like. Yeah. I mean, I, and I don't think Mike's persona attracts those kind of guys. I think Mike's persona does really well at a place like Memphis where you're a kid from Mississippi or Tennessee. You think you were good enough to go to Knoxville or Oxford, but they passed on you.

Now you're at Memphis and you're probably actually a pretty decent player. They're just, they can't take everybody. And he, he just really, he pours into you, believes in you and like, yeah, that brings out the best in you. And you're playing against lesser competition. So you're ballin out. I don't think like the dogs just don't want to go with Mike, man. We can talk about money and the recruiting. But again, there's another thing we've seen every aspect of the recruiting cycle over the last seven years. All different kinds of variables. And Mike has just never been able to get 17, 18 year old kids to believe in him enough of them to believe in him that come to Florida state. So there is a bit of like, you know, you got to be able to walk the walk and talk to talk as the head football coach. I'd never felt that from Mike. But you know, again, he had nice little bit of a run there. I do like Charles Huff at Memphis, Corey, which I know there's no way they can go get the guy from Memphis. No, again, that'd be something. You just run that back. But no, I mean, he, he was with Sabin for a handful of years at Alabama and things are going really well. He went to Marshall. I didn't know that. Yeah, he went to Marshall. Wanted, you know, one fairly big at Marshall.

He might have won the conference. Now he's at Memphis. You know, we'll see how they are. They, I think they play Boise State this week. So that's a huge game for them and their implications that try to make the cause of what playoff. But yeah, man, he, you know, he talked about after the game where, you know, also Mike too, right? Mike's a glistening. It's going to be hard. This can be the hardest thing you've ever done coming and playing and practicing for me. Like don't come here if you're not down for that. And I love that. Like, I'm like, all right, good. Yeah, because after the whole Willie debacle with like, we're going to have fun and everyone's going to love each other. I'm like, no, man, I don't think that's the way football works. Yeah, man, Charles Huff had some great quotes after the UNLV game about. He's like, we don't do the fun things here. We don't do ice cream trucks and you know, Kumbai Yai is like, we work hard because I know the only way that you're going to win is is practicing hard and not being soft. And I know there's some of that and it'd be really tough to sell that. But I'm with that. And then with the administration, yeah, I just looked it up though. You're right. So he was at Alabama in 19 and 20. So he's part of a national championship team. He was the assistant head coach running back's coach. He also was at Penn State for four years from 14 to 17.

So I think he would have been with her and I think for one of those years. And I he would he have coached say one or is that app is that before say one? Either way, he coached and he was with the bills. He was, you know, he was with the Buffalo bills for quality control for a year. He was at Marshall. He was a Southern Miss for one year last year. And now he's at Memphis. Yeah. So, but you are not there is I don't care if he's the next. Kurt Signetti. There is no way you can sell this fan base. We're tapping back into Memphis folks. We're tapping back into Memphis. It's just it would be like hiring. It would have been like in 2006. We're placing Jeff Bound with another bound. Yeah. It was just not even if the guy would have been an awesome OC. It wouldn't have mattered that you cannot sell that to this fan base. Yeah. And yeah, the other thing that maybe they didn't put enough weight on, you know, and this goes back to again, just being around really successful big boy programs.

Just the tree that he came from. You know, like Todd Graham. Todd Graham. Yeah. Fair, fair, fair. He just you need a guy that's been around some of these other big green. And like I like a guy like Bob Chesney. I mean, this is another thing too. I think I had a rant on this last year during the off season, but you know, guys that have, you know, I don't want to get into done more with less or yeah, more with less than so and so because that's not what Florida states about. Like you're going to be here. You're going to be you need to be able to live up to the expectations. This is not driving a golf car. Man, this is driving a tanker. This is driving an 18 wheeler when you're at Florida state. But I like guys like Bob Chesney. They're, you know, I like guys from like the the rust belt. I like Kaelin to boar being from the Dakota's like those guys. The way they worked up, like there, there's a level that I think you of season you get having gone and been a D three coach and then a D two coach and then you know, an FCS coach and like you've run, you've gone up every wrong. You've probably seen every possible kind of locker room chemistry.

So you're probably able to navigate that stuff well. You know, Mike, you know, he kind of got a, he got a good start at Tulsa and then being around Gus Malzahn and then, you know, Todd Graham goes and hangs on with him and they kind of, you know, going to some of these meddling programs in the power for level. But never anything where he really went and did something crazy that had never been done before. Like Arizona states always had like one good season every five years. Memphis, he inherited a good program just in Foyntake. I want to turn that around. So there's, there's something to be said about. I think these guys, I think Chesney might have coached the same place that Adam Fuller coached that and as a head coach and only had one year there. Say no more winning big say no more. He's got that Adam Fuller. Blueprint. Yeah. So all right. Good question from Hugo. No, let's see what else we got. Sorry, Hugo. No, you don't win though. You don't win, but that was a good question. I honestly, before I got to be him or Lauderdale, no, it's question. I thought when I looked at him, it's Lauderdale, no, it's Lauderdale. He made me, he made me go do an hour and a half of research when I was sick.

KELTEN 17. That's a new name too. How long have they been around since September of 2022, 32nd ever post. It's not a question, but I would fire Mike after Bama and maybe he can coach for his old team, Central Arkansas, when they come in, less pressure on our secondaire since Mike can't dial up a passing play. Worth a damn. Ow. Ow. That's. Well, it's a mile. All right. FLS, no. This is another name I haven't seen before. They've been around since 2001. Good grief. Up to a overnight. It's 2001, 25 years, which by the way, it's also 25 years of a incredible day in our nation's history and world history. So thinking of those people that had to deal with that anyways, where were you in high school? No, I was a, I was a freshman in college. I was a freshman in college where you will wake. Um, I woke. So I always had my computer on. It would go to sleep at night. I woke up at, I don't know, 910 in the morning. I had an exam like at 1130 or so. I woke up and I grabbed my mouse and I shook it to wake up my monitor and my home page

was Yahoo news and like the, or Yahoo dot com, the front page of it and the front page of it had like, you know, airplane hits tower and I'm like, that feels like a really crazy, scary thing that just happened. I think it was before the second tower guy hit two and then the second one has like, oh my God, this is not normal at all for real. Yeah. So where were you? I was asleep in a, it's funny. I bring that up because my mom just texted me because she remembers this is I woke up to a voicemail. The first one. So I had a job where I laid out the paper at night up in Gwinnett County. So I didn't get off work till two everyone. Our deadline was two back when newspapers still had deadlines and people read them. So I didn't get home to like two 30. So I didn't go to bed right away. Anyway, I didn't go to bed till like probably 430 or 5. So anyway, I wake up at 11 1130 maybe, um, which was normal. I supposed to be at work at two and there's a message from my boss saying, hey, just so you know, they want sports to be done early tonight and we're going to help out with

the news side, obviously. So just get in when you can. And then I'm like, what in the world do we have tornadoes overnight? So I go out and I look out the window. No, it's perfectly blue sky. And while I'm looking out the window to see what, what he's talking about, like is it rainy? My mom's like, Corey, the world is coming to an end and you're going to sleep right through it. Get up and turn on the TV. And, uh, so I did. And I always tell people this, it was one thing to live through it, which we all did anyway, whether you saw everything live or not. But I saw it all like I just woke it up. I was still blirry eyed and I turned on the TV and they're showing like the recap. I don't want to call them highlights, but the images, right? And you're like, what they're in it. They show the, the towers coming down. I'm like, what in the world? Like I got all of that in a span of like 45 seconds. I had no time to process. I even know what I was looking at. And then yeah, so that's how I, that's how I found out. So it's a horrible, horrible day. And I go down too many rabbit holes on YouTube and watch all these documentaries.

Just like raw footage from the streets and raw footage from apartment buildings and hotel rooms that were close and it's, it's just, just, just horrific. Well no, we were up in New York for the bachelor party. We stopped by the, the monument or, you know, where, I mean, it's crazy. Like, there's these huge, where the foundation used to be. And it's just, it's, you know, hollowed out 30, 40 feet with these like infinity waterfalls. And it's like, man, you get the, the understanding of the scope, the size of those buildings. And just like, it's crazy because New York is such a loud, you know, the city that never sleeps and all that. And, you know, it was, it was a freezing January weekend that we were up there. But everywhere we went was bustling and fun. And like, you go there and like, you feel, like you feel the magnitude and the gravity of it. It's, if you're ever in New York City, go have a fun time. And then also go check that out to get an understanding of, you know, what happened that day and just how absolutely tragic it was. And a little bit of trivia. That's also when the bottom line scrolls started on CNN and all the network news feeds.

Before that, you just saw the time. Yeah. And then they start, they kept updating like what was happening. There's another plane. They might have been hijacked somewhere else and they're worried about this. So they started putting all these bulletins on the lower, lower, what one tenth of the screen. And that's when it started 25 years, 25 years. God. Yeah. I believe they took away the ticker though, I think, right? Isn't that some of the he has been trying to do on games now? They're not going to have the score ticker during. Yeah. They want you to go on the app. Everybody unbelievable. Unbelievable. They do tell you who's talking now, though. Did you notice that? They tell you like who the announcers are. And when somebody's talking, their voice lights up on the bottom of the score box. Really? Yeah. Yeah. No, look at it next time. Okay. He's been around for 25 years. Thank you, man. That's awesome. That's incredible. I think it's my first time on the pony. Anyhow, if Mike Dorvels fired, does Michael all forget fire too? I assume you'd want the new 80 to pick the new coach. Is that even possible to do within the time frame? Needed to hire a new coach by November. I don't know, man.

I guess I don't know all for an impeter colon says and McCullough, the president. I don't know their relationship that well. I feel like they kind of make decisions together. They went through a lot together, including suing the ACC and winning and building that football facility and everything that's happened around the program, giving Mike Dorvel that extension. We laugh at it, but they got that done when everybody wanted them to get that done. They keep it away from Alabama. If you who would make the hire them? And I'm not saying Michael offered would make it anyway. There's a board. There's a president of the board of trustees. There's people that spend the most money. They get the biggest say probably. So I don't know the mechanics and the machinations of how that hire would be made with or without an AD, but you would not have an AD in place to make that hired. You know what I mean? Exactly. If you fire offered in October with Norbell, fine, but then that's just one less person

making that hire are in the brain trust quote unquote to make that hire. I don't know. And also. So Jeff talked about how there are money people still obviously that are deeply, deeply you know, passionate about Florida state that ever sitting this one out. I just wonder if those can Michael Alfred bring those people back to the table because again, like they need all this money. It's like, all right. So there's people that still were invested in Mike and trying to help this thing out regardless of what it was. Probably weren't giving it their full capacity, but they're still involved. And then some people just totally withdrew completely. Like can Michael, yeah, because you would need somebody to be able to get everybody rallied up. And like, I don't know if Michael Alfred's poison the well with those people that have been like, Hey man, like, I'm not giving this guy any money. And now is that because is that Mike and Mike, they don't want to give a mind to or they don't want to give Michael all for that money or do they not want to give Mike nor or Vel that money. So that's probably. It's like. He's got answer.

I saw in Twitter somebody some national writer because there's that was it on our site or another site where somebody on more chance where somebody's like, if every, if 100,000 people just donated or 25,000 people just donated $102. Yeah, yeah. The buyout would be taken care of. And somebody's like, well, why are you could use that 25 million to buy him a better roster? And somebody retweeted that and was like, yeah, he just spent 800,000 on a running back that didn't get a single snap against SMU. So we don't trust him with the money. So would it be like, okay, we don't trust Michael offered with our money too. But what it just hypothetically, Aslan, hypothetically, and this is for all the listeners, all the viewers, what if it wasn't Michael offered's decision to keep Mike nor Bel last year? Nobody blames. Nobody blames Michael offered for extending him when he did everybody he had to after that season and the way the snub happened and who he was being rumored to go to everybody did cartwheels when that when that extension was announced that Mike nor Bel was saved.

So nobody blames him for that. I think a lot of people blame him for keeping Mike nor Bel after last year. Well, what if he wanted to get rid of Mike nor Bel and wasn't allowed to then what what point does it serve to then go fire the AD? That's all that's all I'm saying. You know, I don't know that that's true. I've heard different varying stories. I don't know if that's true. And I also understand hesitance about or hesitancy about having any of the brain trust that got you into this. Be tasked with getting you out of it. But you know, you know, you're going to fire up. Yeah. I mean, they are though. They're the people with the money or have the power and the people at the top make decisions. So we'll just hope we get up. They do a better job this time. I do feel like Mike's Michael offers on a good job. Obviously keeping Lonnie going getting link. I mean, although you can say like how tough of a decision was that to go get linked Jared and you're pulling away from Notre Dame. But you know, we did with Luke Brian Penske.

I would just hope the people that do have the money would would I don't want to say in trust, but just know that at least Michael offered has a pretty decent feel for the industry. Has some pretty decent contacts has done well hiring other coaches that at least he can probably shepherd us through this one last time. And then, you know, we'll figure out what we want to do. You know, we can get you can get us a guy that we all feel good about. And then we can invest in that guy and then maybe start looking at getting a new AD. And I don't think it works that way anymore. Corey where it's like, you know, in UCLA, they just fired their AD a few weeks ago right before their new head football coach even coach in one game. But I don't think that I don't really think it's as big of a deal any longer. It's not this like, oh, he's his guy. It's it wasn't Scott Woodward at Texas A&M bringing Jimbo over there and then leaving to go to LSU and like, you know, what the way you screwing us over like this? So yeah, just when you think about the timeline, unless they just have somebody and it have to be something like huge Florida state ties.

I would want to jump right into it. But also, Michael offered wasn't the first option, right? Peter Collins wanted the guy that was a Louisville Vince Tyre to be the, and we reported it because it was reported everywhere. And like he agreed to take the job. But then the last minute, they backed out and they had to stick with all for it after all. So maybe they go back to that guy, but that, you know, that goes to Iris whole thing about whoever they hire and it's mostly, I guess, the head coach. But maybe it's the AD administration, actually, he was talking about this in his story that like it has to be somebody who knows how to get money. Like point blank, it's not about the student, athlete experience, the recruiting count or no, man. Like can you go get people that have money to give you money? And can you find other ways, other revenue streams and sell that and get that money into the university? So maybe it would be a guy that's got private equity background that Peter Collins is familiar with. It's, yeah. And also I don't want it to sound like I'm arguing for offer to stay or not. I, I, I really don't have an opinion. Same. Yeah, I'm with you. I don't, I don't have an opinion on it. I, I, they have to get it right in whatever way that gets, what, how, what, the quickest

and best way or the best way, not the quickest, the best way to get that done is all I care about. I don't think offered being able to keep Lonnie has any real impact or pinsky has any real impact on, on this higher, this higher is above that type of pay grade, not his pay grade, but those decisions. And let's just hope that these three guys and whoever else is advising them, please, please, please figure it out and get somebody good in here and raise some money and get a, get a quarterback, get a quarterback, make them player coach. Mike underscore LA eight four three. He's going to continue to watch every game and promise himself that he won't let the game get to him, but he's going to break that promise soon after kickoff. But now all the hope that he had going to the season is now gone. With that said, I'm totally onto a coaching search. I never heard of the Wake Forest head coach, but after Aslan brought him up last year, I'd be happy with that guy. My first choice would be Glen Schumann, but at this point, I would be cool with anyone from Jimbo to Deon. The, anybody can do better than this with all that being said, is it realistic for us to

get the Charlotte next year in our current roster situation next year? Yes. I mean, you bring a guy with a quarterback. Yeah, it's, but it's going to be 50 new players again. So I don't know. I mean, did the DeCears sign two year deals? Is Danzee a two year deal? Like I don't know any of the stipulations of those contracts. Look at the two teams that played in the ACC championship last year. I think they had a huge upheaval at Duke and Virginia. I mean, obviously it was quarterbacks. They went and got quarterbacks that were proven, but they went, hey, I think there might be a lesson in that, Aslan, maybe, maybe if you look back at the ACC championship games, they typically have good quarterbacks. Those teams typically Duke went and got to get the two lane. Who did Virginia got Chandler Morris? And you had Tommy Castellanos and you followed that up with Ashton Daniel. So yes, if you go get a quarterback, it can play.

And that is, it's not priority one, but it's like one A or one B, one B, I guess. One A is getting ahead coach that knows what he's doing. But one B is get, and that includes bringing a flipping quarterback in. I'm going to be pounding this drum. You're going to get tired of me saying this, everyone, but y'all know football, y'all watch football. You can't win like this. You can't win with afterthoughts at quarterback. You can't do it. Georgia would be able to win with Ashton Daniels, but not anything of significance. Sorry, I shouldn't say Ashton Daniels. Let me say, because Ashton might win the whole thing this year. His story's not written, Aslan. The story of the 2026 Seminole's is not written. Let's say Tommy or James Blackman are in name, another one, DJ. Not even fair. Chroman Hawk. Georgia could win some games with those guys, but they wouldn't win anything as significant. You've got to go get a quarterback, man. Get a flipping quarterback. I'm an nostalgic person, which explains why I have two old leather wallets in this bookcase behind me here in Tallahassee, because I'm what I was like.

What if I want to go back to my leather wallet that I used to like back in the day? Well, that's not going to happen, because I got a Ridge Wallet. That's for two years now, maybe over two years. Piece of cake, goes in the front pocket, never forget it. You don't have to worry about sitting on this large clump of plastic and raw hide that a wallet is, throwing your posture all off out of whack. Thing looks pretty stylish, but it's functional. No, we maximise wealth. I said last week, Tony was overrated and his tenure really hasn't been that good. He proved that and then some also wears mandrel must be still dribbling. Offense has been bad. And I gosh, the defense is just atrocious.

As for my question, let's cut to the chase. What is the absolute number one box? A new head coach must check for you to feel good about hiring him. And then dauvinism says now that a coaching search is almost certainly in our future. Are there specific qualities you're looking for in a hire? Do you prefer offense, defensive guru, delegator, CEO type, G5 head coach or power two coordinator? What are some qualities you're looking to see in the next guy? How about a power two head coach? No, I want somebody from the power two. Lincoln Rylee or a coordinator, Rhett Lashley or a coordinator from somewhere. That's where I start. That's the first box. To me anyway, it's got to be a power two somebody. A power two team that has won some things. Used to be in a round big games and big stages and what that looks like and everything that goes into it. Maybe being used to playing into December. That'd be nice too. So that's where that's the first box. And then again, the second box is, what is your planet quarterback?

Who are you bringing with you that's going to play quarterback? And whether it's an offensive or a defensive guy. What is your plan for the offense? That's it. I know defense is important. I get it. I understand it's half the game. It's probably the most important actually. If you didn't want that game against Miami because of what they could do on defense in the line of scrimmage, all that matters. They also had the Heisman winner at quarterback. Like you got to have an offense. You can't fiddle far around in 2026 with a unit that averages 23 points per game. You can't win that way. You got to have explosive plays and a good offense and a good quarterback. So I would want, I would want a real plan for how this, how an offense or proof that what how his offense is going to work. Do you remember though, Corey? I spent way too much time gassing you up, but I'm going to do a little bit right here as well. Do you remember the guy that you were kind of jumping on the table for in 2019? No. All right.

His brain ventables. You're a, you're a big Brent Vennable guy and I was not a big Brent Vennable guy. And you know, the first season at Oklahoma kind of was what it was. But I think he's won 10 games maybe the last few years. They look, you know, they're, they're one of these kind of dark horse teams that make it, maybe make it out of the SEC and maybe make it into the playoff. You know, he's a guy that had been around things, won titles and was a coordinator. And I just wonder if, you know, when we think about offensive guru, defensive guru, I'm probably with you. I probably would lean towards historically offensively. When they said they were going to get rid of Jeff Bowden, like I promise everybody on the mother's eyes, like I want Jim Bofischer. And as soon as his name popped up on a hot board, I was like, Oh my God, it might happen. And it did happen. Thank goodness. But I do wonder about the merits of maybe defensive guy. Have we ever had a defensive minded head coach in the modern era at Florida state? I mean, I mean, obviously was what he was. Maybe Mooger was. It's hard to tell with Mooger's teams that they were offensive or defensive minded.

I'm not sure what his background was. Yeah, look, I like Vinnables because I mean, look, man, look at what I mean, Oklahoma is always good. He actually, the problem with Vinnables though and what my concern would have been, I think it kind of came to fruition a little bit out there is the offense took a big step back. And they, you know, they lost plenty of games where they scored 14 points or 16 points. And defense, Vinnables defense is always going to be good. That's a great starting spot. But even Vinnables, I'd be like, well, yeah, man, who's your quarterback? Who's your quarterback? Like Dylan Gabriel. Well, yeah, Dylan Gabriel. He went and got Jeff Levy who brought Dylan Gabriel with him or they met. Yeah. So, and then he went and got here and our buckles. So, yeah. So if he's, if he's, if somebody like that is cut, that you believe in, and I don't know there's anybody out there that you're like, Oh, he's Brent Vinnables good. Right. Because that guy changed the program at Clemson. And has changed it since he left. But if you bring, if you bring a defense of my coach and he's got to have a plan, he's got to sell me on his vision for offense.

Who his coordinator is? I don't want a coordinator that lit it up at D2. I don't want a coordinator that necessarily lit it up at UNLV. I want somebody that's lit it up at a, at a big boy school because he knows what he's up against. He knows how to recruit those types of players. So that's why I kind of still lean towards offense. But I don't you say it. Yeah. I'm on record right now was saying that Vinnables probably would have been a better hire than Mike Morbell in hindsight, in hindsight. So would Lane Kiffin have been everybody, not to pat ourselves on the back too hard. Jay Lowry 19. All right. Aslam, maybe you'll pick me this time. I don't know. I think Lardale knows in the lead. Let's see here. Yeah. Sorry. Yeah. FSU Force four turnovers against SMU. And they still lost year 700 Mike Morbell. What is this program's dependable strength? What evidence the season would prove we're building a foundation rather than just buying more time? Oh, you be answered your own question there man. Nothing. Nothing. There's no foundation being built here. Nothing.

Right? I don't. Yeah. There's, I mean, what are there is you don't, I don't know, you don't build programs. You build teams. You build rosters. He doesn't know how to build a roster in this day and age. Unfortunately with the way things have changed on him. We go to just buying. Unless things turn around immensely again, I'm going to throw that caveat out there because I don't want to be freezing cold take. It may be this thing somehow turns around. It would be surprising to say the least, but it could. This is crazy. Don't know how they might win out after the Stanford fourth consecutive loss. I just want you, this is crazier than that. Stop it. Please. We love you. Hey, they could have a they could win eight of the next 10. They could. They could. I'm just saying they could. They won't, but they could. Other teams have. Lotta saw 80. Cory described Jimbo's exit and Taggers tenure this way. He said Jimbo left and took a giant dump in the middle of the kitchen floor. Taggart came and smeared it all over the cabinets using a similar. I don't remember that. I say a lot of crazy things.

It wouldn't surprise me, but I definitely don't remember saying that. Might be a part of psychosis here. Using a similar analogy, how would what Mike has done to this iconic brand fit into the analogy? I'm thinking something like Mike came in, cleaned the floors and cabinets convinced us the house was beautiful again. Had his dreaming of hosting the neighborhood barbecue and then simultaneously clogged all of our toilets and had the house declared an EPA super fun site right before everyone showed up for the party. I like the beginning of that. He cleans it up. He makes it presentable and then he burns it to the ground. That's what I think he's done. Like he's he's reached lows that Taggart couldn't have dreamed of. Again, I just want to reiterate. The guy is three and 14 in his last 17 ACC games, not even the Jordan Travis stat. Let's include last year. He's three and 14, man. Three and 14 and 17 ACC games. Now long it took bound to lose 14 ACC games. Probably it's spanned three presidential terms. This guy's done it in two years in one game.

He is he is absolutely burned into the ground. Now he might be building the better houses we speak. And it's going to be sparkling and shiny for that game against Alabama in Tuscaloosa. But yeah, it's he's he's if I didn't use that. It's a good analogy though about Jimbo taking a dump on the floor and Taggart smeared it everywhere. Yeah, it's like, all right. Wasn't that bad of a place then Jimbo did what he did and like Willie just made it, I guess worse. Yeah. I'd say it's almost like a he cleaned up the house and then he he had like a media room with all these TVs that we could watch all the games on. But instead of mounting it and hitting a stud, he just tapped a nail into the wall to hold up the TVs. And now it was like going to the portal and I'm just going to do the portal and not building a solid foundation. And now the TVs are falling out of the wall. They're ripping out huge chunks of drywall. Installation is pouring out. It just looks ugly. And you've got all this wasted money of all these broken TV screens all over the ground.

And you're going to have to spend a lot of money to make this go away. I liked my burning it to the ground and I'll see better. No solid. That was probably better. Random underscore John, this administration has already decided Mike is not the guy. What exactly are we waiting on? Another lost Alabama. Another one even another lost Alabama took down Alabama last last year. John, you were on the tide. On the tide. Two and one in the last three against Alabama. Yeah. What information could FSU possibly learn over the next month that it doesn't already have or is the plan to go ahead and keep them? The administration sure seems as if they've gotten comfortable with the awful play because he's still here after three and 14 in the ACC. Yeah. I think we can't do this though. I get what you're saying. That's why I keep pushing to the Miami game. You can't try to sell a fan base that you believe in this head coach. They got unlucky last year. You're bringing them back. You gave them the new general manager. He took over play calling duties again. You're trying a fresh start. Things are going to be different. And then just pull the plug after a three point loss.

You just can't do it. We all know that it was worse than a three point loss. But then the day the scoreboard said what it said, you lost on a last minute field goal to I think a good team, the 19th ranked team of the country. So the score itself wasn't embarrassing. What's happened the last two years is embarrassing. But it's really not bare. I don't think yet. And I know it's rich coming from me the way I've sounded this week and the way I've sounded this show. To judge this team yet. It's coming in that right soon. That's from Shawshake. His judgment coming from that right soon. It's what the warden looks at right when the cops are driving them. The needle point. Spoiler alert. Crazy thing is he hit the he had the axe pick in the Bible everyone again. Spoiler alert. Hope you've seen it. So I give there'll be plenty of time to fire them. You know, there's a long runway here to fire them. Give this team at least. Give the team not the coach. Give the team the benefit of the doubt to see if they can play better than they played

the last two years and maybe go win some games. We'll know obviously like even losing Alabama, you're going to be one and two. Yeah, they're not eliminated. It's crazy. It sounds everybody and I hit the season's not over. They're not eliminated. They're not to with two losses to top 20 teams. Both of which you were underdogged. So you still have a you still have a runway to try to get the season corrected and get it back on track. I know a lot of people wouldn't even want that at this point and what does that even look like. But not firing someone after two games just makes everything you said the last 10 or 11 months look completely and utterly insane. And I know, but at the same time, I think people let that slide, Corey, because they're so ready for this to be a right. I think they want the punitive aspect of firing them immediately. But it isn't the law, a three point loss SMU ain't the time. Now maybe a 40 point lost Alabama, a loss to Virginia, back to back losses to Louisville and Miami and maybe the one in Miami is ugly.

Those are all to me much better times and much more fair times to the team. One loss in September early September. I don't think is enough to like what if he to miss the kick and you won it over time? Now, Norville gets to keep his job like it. Let's see what this team looks like. I think we all have a pretty good idea, but let's see if they use a bi-week to actually improve. Let's see if they play close with Alabama. Let's see if they pull off some miracle and win before you just completely rip the bandaid off. And my point is, I don't know. I know I get what you're saying. It's like red meat for the fans. They would love that. But this team doesn't deserve it yet. Let's see if this team can find its footing and maybe be three and two going to Louisville and win that game and all the sudden you feel okay about things. Now, it's a big, it's not likely I get it, but let's at least give them a chance to keep their coach before you just, that's all.

It's six-kid. One new players. Couldn't you fire Mike and still believe in the team just saying, listen, we think we have a good enough roster. If we do it right now, maybe we'll be okay by the time we have Virginia come into town. And if we win that, so there's, there's that aspect to where you can, I get it. Like, who's the interim? I think her pan. People keep talking about who's going to be, I think her pan. He's a orange coach, kind of like a Sam Pittman kind of vibe. Sam Pittman did really well as an interim coach. I think when he was at Arkansas, didn't work out that suggestion, not advocating him to be there. But I think, I think he would command respect insulin of the offense. I mean, the defense is what it is. You know, Tony's that says, hold side. I got no, I think that's totally fine. But yeah, I just do wonder if you could tell yourself, like, listen, we think this is a good enough roster in this conference to be competitive, to try and win the conference. We got one loss against us right now. I mean, if he does not fix this thing, I mean, you should have maybe done it this off week. But then you go in Alabama and that just is all a horrible start to whatever interim tag

you kind of have with a guy. So, yeah. I get it, but yeah, just so I want to point out, I'm not saying that if they lose to Alabama badly and you fire them, I don't agree with it. That's fine. Do it whenever you want to do it. I think we all think it's an availability. I'm just saying I don't think because he hasn't been fired yet, that the administration's going to just let it ride into 2027. I think I don't think that's the way you need to look at it. I think there are plenty of other opportunities to do it. He'll probably give you plenty of opportunities to do it. And that doesn't mean they're not, they're getting their ducks in a row. They have to. They have to be unless they had ear plugs in on Monday night. I think once you hit that third loss in the ACC, you know, I think once you hit that third loss, like let's you beat Virginia, but then you lose the Louisville and you lose the Miami. It's over. Like you're not winning the conference. You're not making the playoff. There also be some symmetry there. Like at least last game was a loss to Miami. Let Norvelles last game be a loss to Miami. What about this real quick, Corey?

They will not no matter how ugly it gets against Alabama, they're not going to fire him after that game because Alabama's who put us in this position. So that would almost be like giving them this weird satisfaction of like, we played you guys to get this other guy that we really wanted. You guys maximize and over leverage yourself to pick him up and like we have the better coach. Now we just beat you by four touchdowns and you're having to fire him like sucks to be you. I wonder if there's any kind of pride factor where it's like, well, we're not going to let them, you know, be the reason why we get rid of this guy. After he's the reason that we gave him $80 million. I also other than the punitive part of it, I don't think there's anything to gain from it by not waiting an extra couple of weeks. Like you give your chance. You give it's a small, small chance to have the season. Corey, you talked about what this offense has been with him calling plays. Trust me. Something else. I know. I got you. But I mean, what's her hand going to do? He's not calling plays.

It's just going to be, I mean, Tim Harris might be a wonderkin. But we're happy. We're happy. He frees. Auburn fired the offensive. Yeah. He frees and then I'm being better. But my point is I don't, you give the, you're not getting a head start on whoever your next head coach is going to be like Penn State fired their guy three games in last year. They were the last team to make a higher. Like it does it. It does it. It gets you who you want any sooner. And so it would just strictly be enough of this. And I'm okay. If they get, if they look horrible again against Alabama, I am absolutely okay. It's a good point. You brought up. But I'm absolutely okay with them to say, all right, we're done because it's too toxic. It's toxic, man. The head coach looking like that, talking like that, sounding like that. The team, he's going to get booed every time they show his face against Central Arkansas. I can understand getting rid of the toxicity. And that's a fair enough point. Or maybe you tell him, look, Central Arkansas is your last game. No matter what, you can win by 100. It's your last game.

Do you want to coach, give yourself a chance to ride renegade around the field now high five every one one time? Or do you just want to go now? Like you, you can make all these things. I just, I don't know that firing a September means that you get Lincoln Riley in December and Lincoln Lincoln. We're coming for you. Come on. All right, last two, we'll start the bottom of your screen, Naperville, Nol, stand up, Naperville, Illinois in the house. Wake up, per the Board of Trustees website appears that they have scheduled meetings on Thursday and Friday leading up to the Clemson game. It was a logical time to discuss material changes to a certain flondering member of the athletic program. Perhaps, per chance. Yeah, I mean, they're, they're already scheduled. So I don't know if it'll be. Yeah, but like that's, but that might get the ducks in the row, right? That'll be in between. So that Miami's the 17th, right? And then it's an off week and then Clemson's Halloween, right? Pulling it up right now. Miami is October 17th, off with the 24th Halloween day night.

Yeah, the 31st is Clemson figure that could be. I there is a chance a decision might have already been made and announced and enacted before that Board of Trustees meeting. I'll be honest, if there having another bad season, I don't need to watch him coach against Davos again, give me somebody else. Norbell can't handle the heat, man. Can't handle the smoke. He's barely beating that guy once. Everybody beats Clemson these days. Some like a drum and Norbell can't handle it. Last question, Geo. No, good morning, my favorite podcast, Jen. So you think we have the right people in charge to make football decisions? Because when we make this change, it has to be chestnut checkers, head football coach who knows a current landscape, one who can develop talent and evaluate players, get the best out of the resources we have. And if I may have a two for one, is there any difference between what Jimbo went through in his personal life and he looked defeated in his last two years, just going through the motions and then leaving and Mike being snubbed and having looked the same way that Jimbo did his last two years? Have a great one and as always, go knows.

Yeah, I don't know how to analyze the way they looked and acted completely different things going on too with the divorce and a sports sports. Not a strategy. Travesty, a sports travesty, a little different there to compare. That's a really fair question. Again, I would encourage everyone to go read what I wrote on Wednesday, maybe his three, was it a three to one or was just a column? It was straight up column. Yeah. Yeah. This can this administration get us out of this mess? Because that's a fair question. It's like who you could go get a search firm. Great. You don't need to hire who Jimmy Sexton tells you is a good hire. That's what the search firms talk to Jimmy Sexton, who's super agent to all these guys. He's going to try to play one against the other and all that. I want somebody on a board. I don't even know who it would be. Literally don't know who it would be to tell me who's a really good football coach that

can turn this thing around quickly. I think we are right to question the football acumen. It's not their jobs. Peter Collins made a lot of money being a businessman. Richard McCullough is the president of a university. Michael Offer has a lot of other sports to worry about. He was a baseball player in college. It's not their jobs to know football, but find somebody who's opinion they absolutely trust. Do you find guys? Do you? Do you reach out to like a Martin Mayhew, a Brian Zanders as kind of like a caretaker like listen, like we're going to hear the AD. Because I think Mayhew actually did apply to be the AD. At some point, I know I know Sanders can't be your 80, but in terms of like a football guy. Like listen, you're you've been on the side. He's actually on the silence. He's like a quality guy for the Jags, I think right now. He was on the show. I should have known this. But like a guy like that that has an idea of the industry at the NFL level, what college games are trying to copy and mimic. Like reach out to a guy like that. That's an alum. That's going to work pro bono, but that is, you know, going to be more than just a mercenary

search firm that can probably get you on the in the right direction. If you do end up having to get rid of both mics, I would, I would reach out to those guys. I would literally like, and this isn't a joke. James William, James Winston is a brilliant football mind. I think not, not a great NFL player, but hey, still making money, cash and checks. I would get like him, Jaylen Ramsey, Durwin James, Brian Stork. I don't know. Get, not just guys off the national championship teams or that era. Let me guys, it have been in the league for a long time that might not even be coaches and let them be in on an interview for a, for the guy that you're interviewing for the head coach. And then when they're done, let them ask questions, like real questions about not just how you're going to raise money and put together a roster. What are you trying to do offensively? What is your show me some film and what your quarter, what's your scheme here? What's your coverage here if you're a defensive? Like try to get down to, does the guy know the sport?

I would love to hear James say something like I'd come play for this guy, even if I got paid less. Yeah, you get something like that from those guys. I would, I would play for that guy, even if Miami offered me more. Like I would come play. What about this, Aslan? What about this? I think I just had a brilliant idea. James is the next head coach. Jimbo, hey, everybody wants Jimbo. He's from the Jimbo tree right there who's plucked off that tree. We know he knows football. We know he's charismatic, charismatic. People know him. His name travels. He's not 58 years old like Dion. He's younger. He's young enough that the young kids know him and respect them. You've got a worldwide audience because of what he did with the the World Cup coverage. I, it seems like a no brainer, man. All right. It's like a no brainer, Aslan. His brother's on the team. Yeah. Well, that might be a problem. Joan is going to be running first team for the whole season, even if he doesn't deserve it. But other than that, you got, yeah, that would be funny. If all the sudden you had like daddy, brother ball. But hey, let me ask you this, also an awesome Saturday.

Please. James once said, have been the coach the last three years. What would Florida States record be in ACC games? Not three and 14. Agreed. So laugh at me all you want, folks. He can give rousing speeches too. And he also knows how to maybe run a scheme open where a run, have some play designs where guys are open in the middle of the field or teach a quarterback how to make those throws. We made it. We did the whole show 30 something questions over two days. I'm pretty sure that an hour and a half, less than an hour and a half just to shade under with all the ads, the prior a little bit more. But hey, we got to make a living summer. Everybody. Thank you all for listening. We really do appreciate throughout even an off week after a loss. Alabama's next week, everybody. I think, um, I think I'll be going up there with Ira. Oh, yeah. And lead Corey, Corey at the button again, please. Mm hmm. Just for you for a lottery. No, no. It's me. It's the general discussion sparked my comments. Our winner. We already know it's Lauderdale. No, they've been around since 2022 and they had a good question on yesterday's program

that sent Corey down a nice research track to give us pretty much the opening six minutes of today show. So yeah, just after the 24 season, most folks were out on Mike, what happened that made us all think we should sign back up for it. So as the play call or as play call, yes, very, very. Congrats. The Lauderdale. No, he's entered into a drawing at the end of the month for a Cummins gift bag and then obviously whatever we figure out for our end of year drawing, which I got to figure, I keep saying it. I got to put myself on the clock and figure it out. So I know what we're giving away courtesy of the awesome folks. The Cummins follow them on Instagram, Cummins, laughs all in word, portable, reliable, quiet power. No one doing it better than Cummins. We're chained.com. I think no one doing it better when it comes to Florida State coverage. Come check us out. Hit the thumbs up rate, review, subscribe on the way out. Jeff Cameron show one to four o'clock. Check out the Monday smash, which was held on Thursday live. Check out that replay with Irish O'Fell and Tom Lang. And yeah, we're chained.com. That's Corey Clark. I'm Adelaide Giovanni.
