This is the Patrosan Money Show on the home of your world champion Los Angeles Dodgers. Make us your top preset on the I Heart Radio app. The fixity of habit is generally in direct proportion to its absurdity. Got me you. Patrosan money. I am 570 Ali Sports Live everywhere on the I Heart Radio app, second hour, a little bit of a late start to the hour. And Joe, the conversation with Jay here, you know, talking some Dodgers, Hossue de Pollo. Is it really Jay Hare, Matt, that derailed us or was it back dance? It was back dance. And the Viking slot. Yes. Back dance together. Yeah, that's. And you get stuck. 1987? No doubt. You're right. Hell of a year. It's to pile. Oh, it's not. Oh, that's not known. Speaking of 87. It's mad with you. It's sad. Listen, off-air can contribute on. We're talking a little bit about the power a little bit Dodgers at Miami tomorrow.
First pitch will be at 410. So Matt and I'll be flexed back to one. That's right. Gelpin Ford broadcast booth is silent today, but tomorrow will be back in action. However, we do have off night Dodger talk tonight. So the Dodgers not completely silent on the station tonight. We got to counter program. Exactly. NFL game coming up. Exactly. First of the NFL stuff. Let's do the word of the day real quick. He made me with his words. The word of the day. Today's word of the day is as talk. Okay. 430 Rose Bowl Big 10 Network San Diego State visits Bob Chesney's upwardly mobile UCLA team and Nico Iabaleaba and that running back night. It is going to be extremely fun to watch UCLA in the Chesney era. I believe until Michigan hires him to be the head coach, but I think it's going to be fun up until that moment.
But San Diego State is no pushover. They won nine games last year. And their coach, this guy Sean Lewis, who's like six foot eight balled huge goatee and all of his staff. I was like, I can just look huge. All of his staff, I met him when he was at Kent State. And then remember, he's the guy that got screwed over by Deon and Shedur. He got fired halfway through that season. Oh, right. Right. And then he's got to say, oh, see? Yeah, he was their play caller. And that's what he was. But at San Diego State, he took over and then they were just okay in year one, not good at all. And then in the second year, last year, he had that corner who got drafted high. And he had the D N who I believe also got drafted. And he said, we're going to be a defensive team. And he changed them and he changed it to a run game at a thousand yard rusher. And they ended up winning nine games and they lost a shootout in a bowl game to North Texas.
But San Diego State is not messing around. I'm not saying there is good as good as cowl. I don't know. But here is Sean Lewis six eight goatee. And there's at least three or four guys on his staff that are also tall bald with goatees. So one time like we were doing a zoom in a bald guy with a goatee showed up and I had to send a text like this isn't him. This is the OC. They just look exactly the same. They have a type they really do. And it's it's something to behold really. But Sean Lewis is making news right now because he got some wind in his jaws and his press conference talking about UCLA and their special khakis. Talk about their khakis and we're going to go up there put the ball on the floor. See what happens plenty of experience where there's a galaxy of stars and talents on the other side line and I'll take me and mine against them all their polos all their khakis all their resources all that put the ball down. Let's go play. Now first of all don't attack khakis. How did he know about kates as polos?
How did he know about kates as khakis all the polo stuff that kates had to deal with when he was working UCLA pre half and post and dealing with UCLA's incredibly famous cheapness. He looks kind of like zirxes from 300 little bit little lighter lighter tone and the skin but yeah sure. If you want to I do like him a lot and he's a very straightforward fun coach to talk to and I've covered him for a few years. I even did one of his games that can't state. So I do like him but he's not impressed with khakis. Part of this show I just thought it would be pretty wise to make it so nice and keen and much advertised on how I could even drive fighters that and want Th正 is telling me that she could be ok with me but I am feeling sorry about her coach And once you get past Camp Pendleton and you see the hospital and stuff car
heart and and that's what San Diego State's coach is wearing the sideline car heart with the hammer. Yeah, working man now hammer loop. That's all and you know what they put in that hammer loop. Faith. Stick a faith in there. Sex toy. Yeah. So Sean Lewis and his his running back Javian Kinnery and Lucky Sutton and the returning quarterback Jaden Denegal. I don't know man. I think you see I was gonna beat the brakes off him but you heard what he said. If you're watching the video of his press conference which you just heard the audio, he's got a nice step in repeating the back with Toyota on there in San Diego State logo. That's good sponsor on on the table right in front of him in the microphone. This is iPhone upside down a nice blue pen which I can respect to gel pen. He's got himself a diary of some sort looks like he's keeping some notes. Yeah, no it's very important. And then right next to that, this is water jug. His water bottle that he got here and he's got stickers on there which I can appreciate. Yeah. It's got a San Diego State sticker but he's also got a frog with a pitch fork that says no fun one and then he's got a
skull and crossbones sticker and the crossbones are not bones but wait. Oh yeah. I covered him with my liftoon. Well he does look like he gets his liftoon. He's huge. Like he's a big guy and he looks like he might pick Bob Chesney up and throw him across the historic royal San Diego. Yeah, I think that looks like a real possibility. So there you go Matt. I thought you'd get lathered up for that San Diego State game. I like it. Hey, tomorrow with other polos. We're off early. I mean to attack their khakis. Attacking their polos and khakis is interesting. A lot of experience where there's a galaxy of stars and talents on the other sideline and I'll take me in mind against them all their polos, all their khakis, all their resources, all that put the ball down. Let's go play. Are we to here at San Diego State? Are we to believe there's no polos? We have no polos. We have no khakis. Even dockers. We are forced to play in tank tops and dolphin shorts. It's been that way since a real disadvantage for us. It's the Coriel days. That's how it's been here. It's
unfortunate. But in many requests, but we're a state school. There are you see such as life. Ted Tolner looked terrible in dolphin shorts, but he had to wear them. It's time for the number of the day. Here's my number. Number of the day. Well, there's a number of different ways I can go with this. I kind of alluded to it in the prior seven and 12 and 24. So the Rams are trying something different and they want everyone to know about it. They have decided, look, this is a divisional game. This is two teams that regularly split their regular season series. And oftentimes as it did last year with the sea hawks, these divisional meetings can determine whether or not you're a division winner or a wild card. You can still have 12, 13 wins. And if you don't win your division, you have to win three road games in order to make it to the Super Bowl. The 49ers decided to approach this game in Australia that will kick off at 525 our time, which I believe is 1025 AM Friday in Australia and Melden. And the Rams decided to land yesterday. They will be on the
ground for about 30 hours before they fly home. Sean McVeigh three of those hours are going to be the football. Right. Sean McVeigh shared that this is something that has been in process for a year that they have sent 12 staffers down to Australia on this schedule like colonies like hey, here's the deal. All right. You go to the Congo. You're going to hop on this. Go find Colonel Kurtz this quad is airways 14 hour flight to Melbourne. You're going to stay on that. This is the sleep schedule we want you on. You're going to wake up. You're going to try to function. And then you're going to get on this plane and come home and you're going to tell us how you feel. How do you feel? No more right? Yeah. Did you have to play a three hour football game? A bunch of other grown men and violence is involved. Extreme but no, I didn't have to do that. But other way I remember they decided to spend basically less time on the ground 30 hours versus 31 hours in the air
as the appropriate way to approach this one off game hoping to stay on a specific day light time schedule as opposed to adjusting to the Australian time there like that 49ers did they've been there for a week there on Australian time they've been sleeping fine. They've done their meals. Like when you went to Brazil last year, like when we went to Brazil, we were there for three days. It was time very different in Brazil. Now it was only four hours. So it's just an hour ahead of me. I wasn't that big of a deal. But again, for Greenland, like going to heaven, Kevin Demoff is the president of the ramp of the ramps popular guy. I guess I believe he's got an audience with Fred Rogan on a text. Yeah. David Lombardi is a beat writer for the 49ers for the San Francisco standard. The standard the San Francisco standard. Is that that chronicle website that Kate's was talking about the other day with us with the rain? Reporting on the people, power and culture shaping
San Francisco. They've got a hundred thousand five. So it's a legit. It's a legit rack. Hey, we'll accept that. It's not a free paper. David Lombardi reacting to the article that I read about their travel plans and how they seem to know better than everybody else. We know this is what we've done. We've researched this circadian rhythm, biological clock, feelings, emotions. You know, Matt, you work for a football team. You know how much football teams want to sound smart, like how desperately they want to sound like we're not just running our heads into each other. And circadian rhythm is a way to do that. Yeah. Yeah. David Lombardi tweeted out. This is like a beat rider. He's a beat rider. He quotes. So this is like Tim Kawakami. He quotes the Harold Sun Sport and says an actual business trip would involve the ramps taking the time because Kevin Demoff was quoted for this article about it's a business trick. An actual business trip would involve the ramps taking the time to actually grow their brand. There's a reason,
and this is him throwing the red meat to the 49er fan base. There's a reason the ramps don't even own L.A. And that of course was Kyle Shanahan's comment when they were selected to go down to Australia because they take over so far whenever they play here and they don't like seeing the sea of red and all that. It is related to their current mentality moving to Anna. I'm then St. Louis severely hurt the cultivation of a fan base 49ers. That's true. That's true. All right. And the 49ers did benefit. If you're the president of the Rams, you he didn't respond to that. Did he not only did he respond? Wait, Kevin Demoff. He quotes Stan Cronkies number one guy with the most powerful man in sports across the whole world globally soccer football basket not just the president of the Rams, the president of Cronkies sports enterprises team and media operate Kevin Demoff. It's nice to see you're taking a break from your Brock Pertie obsession to start to care about how we run our team and the decisions we make. I simply can't understand why you and the rest of the 49ers media is so obsessed with the Rams brand, but I'll take it as a compliment. Wait, isn't it the beat rider's
job to be obsessed with the what everything that's going on? Yes. That's what a good beat rider does. Isn't the story in Australia, the contrast of how the two different teams handled it? Seems like it's pretty big deal. Wouldn't the NFL have wanted the Rams being a super bowl favorite this year to go around Australia and brace the fans maybe hang on to it get syphilis from a koala bear or something? Not a bad idea. Fight a kangaroo. Something. You know, have a baby. Instead they land. You did, baby. Yes, they check into their hotel. They go to bed. They wake up. They fly home. Not necessarily. And I have engaged the Australian Charger fans. Remember the Chargers and Broncos did a preseason game there in like 99. So there is a healthy. There's a healthy charger fan base in Australia. They have pod cally is a big NFL fan base down there. They like American football. And they basically double middle fingers were coming in for 24 hours playing a game and leaving. You probably just want to be able to get a few to the NFL. Could be. And but yeah, that's now look.
Every football team wants to remember Memphis came out and played at UNLV just a week zero and one. And the Memphis coach is probably going to be the next Florida state coach. But all that guy could talk about and they Bruce Feldman just wrote an article or somebody's like, we hired a sleep expert. And we knew that we would be playing late in Vegas. It's like, okay, you guys are 19 like, okay, but they're still talking about their sleep expert that they hired. Like I listened for 10 minutes of the North Dakota state coach talk about their new nutritionist. And all that's great. Until I mean, it's great. Yeah, but yeah, I mean, yeah, it's was thinking I had to play football. Like the Air Force fullback is still coming into the A gap with a warhead nuclear flat top. And he wants you to die. Like, like, I don't know if you're bulgar wheat yesterday morning is going to make a bunch of a difference. But, but you know, look selfishly. I've gone on three of these international trips now. Wait, you did Mexico City in England, London and South, I'll know I have
a pretty amazing board. I have enjoyed the international atmosphere and that's what you're kind of supposed to do. Like when you want, when you take TCU to Ireland, let's look around Ireland, and you're going to go to County court. Exactly. Here's James brewery. If it's Jim James Joyce stats you guys check it out. Who's that? That's very easy reading here. None of those people suck it back on the phone. I wish they knew who James Joyce was. Yeah, I hope they I hope I hope they lose terribly. I hope they look tired. You want this to bad? I would like this to backfire. It's one thing. It's one thing to be like, we're not playing your game NFL. We're not going to do what you want us to do. But it's another thing to to wave it around in their face. And you know what? It's kind of weird by down off, bet them off to respond to a beat rider. That's not I that I would say that is ill advice. Maybe that has something to do with the flight and his circadian rhythms being thrown. He could be a little crusty right now. You're not supposed to respond to respond. We are not supposed to respond
to stuff. President of KSE responding to a red meat article about 49ers fans being better than rampant. And isn't literally that guy's job to write exactly that seems to be the what's going to get sure when the Niners jobs to get clicks. I'm sure when the Niners get in trouble that guy's going to write bad things about the Niners and their prostitution horror owner. Listen, I just wanted to meet her and have a conversation. I've often been fascinated by how the folks that call life in a trailer park life. What are we doing over here? I'd like to meet up with you. I'm going to text you four different times. Do I make a left here in the car parts? Supposed to meet you here. Don't know where you're at, but I'm here. I'm in a t-shirt. Just look like a normal joke. I know. I'm going to explore a little car. It's time for the song of the day. This is the song of the day. The power station was a super group featuring members
of Durand Durand Double D in Sheik, fronted by the late Robert Palmer with our song of the day called The Heat Is On. A red hat. Karunchy grew for this Thursday afternoon, where the petros and money show is on the air live from our powerful AM station, where The Heat Is On as extreme temperatures are pushing us to the very limit. But great sports talk is here to cool you off with a full four hour radio program that'll take us all the way to off-night Dodger Talk, hosted by our friend Tim Kates coming up at seven o'clock. Thank you, Ronnie. And by the way, you asked about the Rams. They asked to be they wanted to be the Australian team. They're like, hey, if you ever go to Australia, that's one of our markets that we are marketing, marketing, people for years to see what it's going to be like. So we would like to go. So if you volunteer to go and then they want you to go down and be ambassadors for the NFL, like, yeah, by the way, we're not even going to be out and Melbourne at all. We're going to just go straight to our hotel, fall asleep, go play the game, and fly home. Yeah, but they did
watch Crocodile Dunby one and two on the way down. So guys, you can't sleep yet. You can't sleep yet. You can't sleep yet. Sleep now. We hired something. We hired someone to do this. We hired a sleep man. Hey, go to sleep. That's how we'll be right back with more great sports talk. Who's to say? Hi, this is highly breakman, Angela Jaretana, Jeremy Colhane, Patrick McDonald, and we're the hosts of the artists on artists on artists on artists podcast. Have you guys done Terry Gross's Peloton class? No, I've been dying too. I'm so sorry. I'm seeing a reading of
Sadako in the Pousin Thousand Paper Cranes by Audrement Donald at the Wonderland bookstore. 14. That's crazy. I went to the Wonderland bookstore yesterday and I heard Nora Jones do a reading of Zero Dark Thirty. No way. Patrick of the last bookstore though, Kim Ketrol is reading the guitar tabs of yesterday. A panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He, he winks on a lowly. He gets rid of next to the microphone. If you want to listen to the radio broadcast, with your old timey radio and your one white, very crinkly wired earpiece on your transistor. This text I just got says, Matt just convinced me to root against the Rams. Oh, because of the way they handled this trip, the way they've thumbed their nose at our Australian convict friends. I was born and raised in Peth. What about F all the Jews guy? Is he going to play? I think so. He's on my fantasy team. Nice. I got him in the lineup right now. Well, good luck, Matt. Or should I say, Mack Lamor? I think he's the other way, right?
Oh, no, no, no, that's right. Yeah, that's right. He's trying to he was wearing the thing. Yeah, he's trying to apologize. Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, he was wearing the thing. You don't get to do that. You would have been better off biting a chick on her shoulder, screaming after Jews. And being a great NFL road. And then going out there and putting up 160 yards and two touchdowns. All right. This is a big story. It's local knowledge. I mean, even though it's Laliso Viejo, we'll still go. I mean, yeah, we excel. I don't know. I mean, it's pretty far down there. He's knowledge. Common knowledge. It's local knowledge. He's very knowledgeable on the things that you come up with as far as both for what the analogy is. You know, was a Lisa where the Berkeley dog was. When it opened down here, I feel like it was. It was close to there. It was it was in Santa Margarita near coded to cause. That's all I don't know. And also, it's like the same place to me, to be honest with you. There are Aliso Viejo popular high school, the Wolverines. Who went to Aliso Viejo high school that would matter to the Paterson money show?
Well, according to Don Martin, our worst in person interview ever, the bug assault guy. Oh, uh, when Jonathan Wayne Freeman. Yeah. So he's an Aliso Viejo Wolverine. I didn't know that. I thought he was saying. Yeah, I grew up through Aliso Miguel. Yeah, in Aliso Viejo. In Aliso Viejo. Okay. Also Aliso Nigel High Wolverines. Skip Schumacher. Oh, Esmaid Best Friend. A Fod Friend of Dave. Oh, okay. Yes, Skip Schumacher. And there's a third Aliso Viejo. Kylo Ross gymnast. Huh? Oh, Michael Rol. Yeah. There you go, Michael Rol. The white guy that was starting in front of Russell Westbrook at UCLA on Ben Howell and Turner. Okay, that's a pretty good, right? That's a pretty good part of the pun rule call. That's right. A fact of Paterson money people. Yeah. Hey, how did you think I did? I thought it was the worst thing I ever heard. That's true story. Jonathan Wayne Freeman. I had Brewery X. The surfer guy.
He showed over the bunch of free stuff to give away at everybody's throwing out pit fight. How did you think I did? Terrible. I thought the show really ground to a halt when you got up there. Okay. Thank you. And then skips you, mom. Right. Vase. Fod, friend of Dave. And Fod, Michael or Michael Rol. Okay. Who started in front of Russell Westbrook for a brief period of time. Those are happier times at Aliso Nigel and Aliso Viejo mat. My bad. Right by the toll roads. Somebody stole a lot of money from the booster club in the football. Like, I can't believe they have this much money. That's not cruel in their football. Boost. I mean, how many pizzas did they sell? A dishfish. ABC seven has a story. An exclusive ABC seven eyewitness news story on a major arrest in Orange County this morning, where a woman is accused of misappropriating hundreds of thousands of dollars from a high school football booster club. ABC seven was the only television station there as the FBI arrested the suspect.
Eyewitness news reporter Bianca Bono. Watch the operation unfolds and joins us now live from Aliso Viejo. Bianca. Yeah, Philip, it all unfolded in this Aliso Viejo neighborhood about 10 FBI agents surrounded the white home behind me. And it didn't take long before the suspect walked out and surrendered. At six o'clock this morning, FBI agents in a quiet Aliso Viejo neighborhood taking Julie Hanway Molina into custody. After making announcements outside of her home, Molina answered the agents phone call, appearing confused as she walked outside with her hands up. But she's been at the center of a federal investigation. And according to an indictment, she is accused of siphoning more than $400,000 away from a local high school football program. That's a lot of bugging so far. That's a lot of bugging so far. For the Wolverine football club, a nonprofit that raises money for the Aliso Nagell High School Football Team. Core documents alleged from 2023 to November of 2025. Molina secretly diverted funds for her mortgage and credit card bills.
Investigators say she concealed her crimes, sending the club's board falsified reports, managing to misappropriate $411,000 dollars in total in a statement. That's gotta be like all of it. Like Martha Stewart. Like what are we doing? That's a lot of money. You want to even a trim like five grand off here? You probably get away from it with it. Four on her grand. How much do we have in the account now? Zero? Zero. Dr. 11,000 dollars in total. In a statement, the Wolverine football club board president telling iWitness News they are aware of the allegations involving their former treasurer and they have cooperated fully with law enforcement throughout the investigation. It'll feel like you got punched to all the people who went out there and raised the money and put on all the events. Aliso Viejo Mayor Max Duncan says the news traveled fast this morning. Aliso Viejo's Brazilian community. We have tons of family support out there. Mayor of the center. We know that the parents will come together and make this right and get these sports programs going. I really don't know anything. We spoke briefly with Molina's husband who had just left prior to her arrest.
He is not facing any charges and says that I know what the I'm hearing. Confused after FBI agents drove off his life. He rolled up an 11th in a hastened Martin. With four counts of wire fraud. The football team. Oh my god. How? Okay, I don't I know nothing about that. Yeah, no, yeah, the football team. That is. I'm calling BDS. Yeah, I don't I know nothing about that. And we did reach out to the capestrona unified school district for comment. A spokesperson confirms Molina was never a district employee. Noting the booster club is a separate entity. So whoever hired the booster club treasurer. The real idiot. But I want to know is how do I hire this booster club to raise money for my non-prod? Like I want to hire the Alisa V.A.O. football booster club to boost for Los Alamedos Gryffin's football. How can we get $411,000?
I know that in our coffers. I mean, my alma mater, Peninsula High, is struggling to budget their football program. It's a very wealthy area. You got to reach out to Alisa V.A. I get this woman. Yes. I mean, wire fraud be damned. Just at least let me get that 411 grand to look at for a second before you take it. And her husband sounds very believable. Okay, I don't I know nothing about that. Uh-huh. Okay, okay, okay. I know nothing about that. Honey, how we paid the mortgage just now? Yeah, okay, I don't I know nothing about that. Money fell from the sky. Sweetie. It was mana for me. Sweetheart, can I ask you a question? Yeah, what do you got there, tuts? You feel like you're taking a little too much. Like maybe you should leave a little bit like an office space. Yeah, like, oh my god, you know, they didn't expect it to be like millions and millions of not. Maybe you should have left a little bit in there. So when they look, it doesn't say zero. Like someone's not getting an overdraft message from the bank. Sweetie sprouts just gave us 20,000. What?
400 grand for a booster club. I do understand. I'm not an accountant, but I do understand. I believe that money you take that's tax exempt money from a booster club. You don't have to pay taxes on it. That's yeah. Yeah, that's accurate. Okay, I don't I know nothing about that. Really? Because it feels like you is just a river of money flowing under your home and you just didn't hear it? You're not the population of Elisa Viejo is. 49,000 people. Yeah. And they raised 411 grand. Just four bucks a person. I mean, Jesus just for football too. Jesus just for football. Just for football. Are they good? I just lost my 50th Edison. Jesus. Aliso, Nagell, heist, it's Alisa Nagell high school is the heist. Yeah. This was all raised for 400,000.
This is that's bad as crazy. And she's a frumpy blonde. Yes, she looks like a real Karen. Yes, she does. They're oh and three by the way. They've been outscored 82 to 27. Well, yeah, they got no money. What what the money do? Pay for the bus. It is those gatorade energy bars. Gatoract. Was it an NIL money you think? No, I don't know what it was. I don't know. What? Football. I know nothing about this. I never heard of anything. I don't know anybody. Okay, I don't I know nothing about that. I don't know anything. Okay, pie. Right, does pairle Susan here. Aye.
