Sl: Na Tromostovju je bilo tisto popoldne čarobno.
En: That afternoon on the Tromostovje was magical.
Sl: Jesenske listje je plesalo pod nogami mimoidočih, ki so se našli na mostu, oblečeni v fantazijske kostume.
En: Autumn leaves danced under the feet of passers-by who found themselves on the bridge, dressed in fantasy costumes.
Sl: Luči so nežno osvetljevale stare mostove, Ljubljana pa je bila pripravljena na praznovanje Halloween-a.
En: Lights gently illuminated the old bridges, and Ljubljana was ready to celebrate Halloween.
Sl: Bojan, profesor književnosti, je hodil po mostu.
En: Bojan, a literature professor, was walking across the bridge.
Sl: V srcu je čutil praznino.
En: He felt an emptiness in his heart.
Sl: Najti je želel navdih, ki bi oživil njegove besede.
En: He wanted to find inspiration that would revive his words.

Sl: A nenadoma, zmeden zaradi množice in s pritiskom na prsih, je izgubil zavest.
En: But suddenly, confused by the crowd and with pressure on his chest, he lost consciousness.
Sl: Marjeta, ki je bila le nekaj metrov stran, je takoj opazila padec.
En: Marjeta, who was only a few meters away, immediately noticed the fall.

En: Without hesitation, she ran to him.

En: "Bojan, are you okay?"

En: "Thank you, I think I was overwhelmed," he admitted sheepishly.

En: "It happens," Marjeta said.

En: "The Halloween craze is everywhere.

Sl: Marjeta je govorila o starodavnih slovenskih pravljicah, o skrivnostih gozda, ki jih je raziskovala za projekt.
En: Bojan nodded, and thus began their conversation.
Sl: Bojan je govoril o poeziji in zgodovini mesta, ki je bila povsod okoli njiju.
En: Marjeta spoke about ancient Slovenian fairy tales, about the mysteries of the forest she was researching for a project.
Sl: Njune besede so tekle kakor reka pod mostom, mirno in spontano.
En: Bojan talked about poetry and the city's history, which surrounded them.
Sl: Ko sta končala pogovor, sta oba našla nekaj, kar sta iskala.
