All Aboard The Jurassic Express

Jack Perry and Luchasaurus return to talk about the evolution of Jurassic Express, how they initially met and got put together, and what really changed once the AEW cameras started rolling! Jack explains the origin of Jungle Boy, transforming into “The Scapegoat,” being set on fire by Darby Allin’s flame thrower, and getting signed after one crazy flip at an indie show caught the attention of The Young Bucks! Luchasaurus shares the story behind the creation of the dinosaur gimmick in Lucha Underground, developing it at AEW, and working with and learning from Christian Cage. They remember wrestling in empty arenas during pandemic era, and what that taught them about character development, audience connection, storytelling, and wrestling for TV! Jack also has stories about his dad, Luke Perry, taking him to wrestling shows as a kid, training in a backyard ring at age 9, and the advice he got later from both Billy Gunn and Jericho!  Plus, Luchasaurus details his recent battle with pneumonia that left him bed-ridden and on oxygen for 3-months, and updates the rehab process for his double shoulder surgery! And of course, the tale of the Jurassic Express bus!
