In today's episode of the podcast, you'll discover the difference between laziness, procrastination, idleness and rest & recovery.
If you are super honest with yourself, how often have you justified your lack of action as "rest & recovery" when in fact, it was probably closer to laziness or procrastination? And again, super honestly, how well has that strategy worked out for you in the past, and how well is it working out for you today?
Both laziness and procrastination come from the same core driver - a lack of motivation. But neither make you feel very good, and laziness completely takes you away from your goals, while procrastination makes the process of achieving them so much more difficult than it needs to be.
There is no cure to laziness, except to stop being lazy. Being able to honestly (and with oceans of love) to simply ask yourself the question - "am I just being lazy" when you find yourself in the middle of mindless activity and yet another pointless distraction, may just be the circuit breaker you need to summon up the discipline required to just get that job done.
