Good morning. I'm Ed Donahue with an AP News Minute. Iran's parliamentary speaker has
emerged as a possible U.S. contact for talks, even as the Iranian leadership remains
under fire during the war. Reports suggest Washington may see him as a negotiating partner.
Pakistan's Prime Minister says his country is ready to facilitate meaningful and
conclusive talks to end the war. More strikes have hit Tehran, leveling buildings.
The Iranian red crescent posted on Tuesday footage on its social media account showing
the rescue of a survivor from under the rubble in Tehran. In another video,
a show rescue teams searching for more survivors and casualties inside a damaged house.
The group said the U.S. Israeli missiles had targeted a residential area on the outskirts of
the capital, adding the strike had completely destroyed one building and damaged four adjacent
