Doctors without borders says sexual violence against civilians is being used as a weapon
in Sudan's civil war.

In a new report, the group says nearly 3,400 women and children sought treatment at their
facilities in the past two years.

Victims say they're being repeatedly attacked by armed men and multiple perpetrators.
Midwife Gloria Andreo says their team in Tawila saw an average of a dozen women a day.
A lot of them witnessed brutality, physical touch, psychological touch, gang ribs.
The attacks are affecting the larger community, making women afraid to conduct daily activities
like farming, collecting water, or going to market.
Victims and aid representatives are calling for justice and protection by the United Nations.
