I'm Marcela Sanchez with an AP News Minute. Pambondi is out as President Trump's Attorney General. In a statement, Trump said she would quote be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector to be announced at a date in the near future. Trump has named Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, one of his former personal lawyers as the Acting Attorney General. Three people familiar with the matter tell the AP he's privately discussed Lee Zeldin, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, as a permanent pick. The Labor Department will release its March jobs numbers today. The report is expected to show that hiring rebounded and that companies, nonprofits, and government agencies added 60,000 jobs in March.
