I'm Ed Donahue with the Navy News Minute.

Stocks finish lower, the Dow down 443 points.

President Trump says he's not interested in a ceasefire with Iran.

You don't do a ceasefire when you're literally obliterating the other side.

They don't have a navy, they don't have an Air Force, they don't have any equipment to,

they don't have any spotters, they don't have anti-aircraft, they don't have radar,

and their leaders have all been killed at every level.

The military is deploying three more warships and roughly 2,500 more Marines to the Middle

East as Iran fires on Israel and energy sites in neighboring Gulf Arab states.

The President was asked if the U.S. is going to escort ships through the strait of

Hormuz.

We don't use the strait, we don't the United States, we don't need it, Europe needs it,

Korea, Japan, China, a lot of other people, so they'll have to get involved a little

bit of that.

This traffic through the strait has sent oil prices soaring.
