3:17rapper. I think that's a poor description of him, but y'all know who Joe button is. There's a video going around of him proposing to his girlfriend who's now his fiance. So to be his wife, they've been together for a long time and I was saying to you, this is nice. I'm seeing all the seasons of marriage, you know, call Anthony Towns. We saw Coco in. Donovan Mitchell. I'm sorry. Donovan Mitchell get married and it's been to me that feels like a wave happening. Let me welcome my producer to the show. Tremel the cash flow coach. Hello to you. Hello, Karen. Thanks for having me. Yeah, thanks. And you said something. So which I don't know, right? If I could ever get you on the radio, which it will probably you'll get canceled probably at least twice a week because yeah, yeah, yeah, she because she just brings it wrong and I have to distill it and figure out if I'm gonna talk about it or not. But I said this to you because you know, y'all know I watch a lot of, you know, love is blind. It's not ratchet and love island. Like I am a hopeless romantic. I really don't know. That's just so important. Yeah, I guess you're right.

4:21Yeah. I don't watch any of my guys. Uh, exposed. No, I think, I think there is a part of me, you know, I grew up watching like seven bars or seven brothers and all of these things on TV that with a happy ending. I want to see people happy. I think life should be that. And so it was nice and I said, I don't know what's going on with the wave of these men, but I like it. Of proposing and getting married and you said, well, I was just saying because, you know, you were talking about Joe buttons and he's like almost 50 and he's not 50 and, you know, Mark Lamont Hill, more, more the older guys and the guys over 40. And I was saying to you, well, Mark Lamont Hill, he was on the podcast and he was saying, you know what, I really laid down some bad dick this morning. It was so bad that I was embarrassed. Right. When you said it, it took me a minute to process because he said, it all normally talk like, well, no, but I will never talk, you know, at time and place where everything, I can't see me saying it like I can't even imagine that I'm saying this on the podcast, but it's fine.

5:24Okay. So anyway, Mark Lamont Hill was like, I can't believe I laid down the dick I laid down this morning was just real bad. I'm embarrassed about that. Like this is awful. It was awful. Like y'all always shamed and he's telling the other members of his crew. And he was like, damn, you know, like, you know, I got things on my mind, though, you know, and I'm getting older, you know, that's it. And Joe button was like, yeah, man, listen, let me tell you, my girl was like, hey, we hadn't had sex in a long time. And he was like, look, I don't got no time. I'm like, super busy. Like, I got so much stuff going on. She was like, you know, basically you're not like some all day two hour dude, like let's not get it twisted. Like you ain't got 15 minutes, you're usual 15 minutes. And he was like, oh, like she said that we tend toes down. And I'm like, you know what? I never leave in her because that dick performance that you got to put on early in a relationship. I don't got the energy for that anymore. I just don't got the energy. And so I think aside from those young athletes that you were talking about, there are a lot of people that are middle age that are

6:28getting married. You know, they're 40 and up and they are getting married. And especially the man I'm going to say, I think that they know that their window is short. And I think that what you have is older men probably go into the doctor for the first time. It's like, oh, you got diabetes now. Well, you got this. And so I, you know, have a problem with that because it's like, oh, all of your healthy years, you can't be tied down. But now it's like, oh, I got this diabetes and this left foot is numb. And you know, all of this stuff over the hospital's wives. Yeah. And that's exactly what they are. Their hospice wives. Yeah. Yeah. There's a couple of things. This makes me, again, I'm a hopeless romantic. The in my wildest imagination, everybody is in healthy, happy, joyful relationships. You know, notoriously like, I've been married, anti marriage, not because of anything other than I think people haven't developed enough to have the kind of wholesome relationship. Everything's kind of a little bit transactional. And I hate transactional, I hate

7:30transactional relations, period, whether it's in business or whatever, to the point that almost to my detriment, like, I'm really about vibe. Like I will walk away from multimillion dollar deals if there's too much transaction involved in it. And, you know, so I'm trying to, when I'm talking about these things, first of all, I don't talk a lot about them on the radio. But I think that there's a hope in me that this is a sign of people growing up. I hear what you're saying, though. There's a sign of people growing up and old, growing old and up. And so it's like, okay, I better have someone that will help me. You know, right. So I'm sure there's a little love there and a little like and stuff. But I'm sure it's also just being aware of it. Yeah, it's definitely that I'm aware of my mortality. I'm aware that things are changing for me physically. And I'm in the last bastion of my glow. And so I better lock it down and get in some place and close to do it.

My hope is somebody listening to this, particularly somebody in their 20s and 30s that you find the purse your friend, find somebody that you can be a friend with. I recently went to a birthday party. And you know, I don't tend to like to go out because again, going out feels performative. Sometimes you're in these places, them, them, them, none, people, personal aderves and people are talking, but there's not all to me a whole lot, which is why I do my own events because I want that energy that I like to be around, which is so, I really think that's real fun. Everyone just being themselves, like their hair down. So I went with the expectation it was going to be one of them, them, them, them places, right? Because you know, these, these people are kind of, they have some status and some money or whatever. And so I said, yes, but I was like, I'm just going

11:40to dip in and dip out. I thought it was going to be at some restaurant or something. I was like, good, I can just come, eat some orders, drop off a card and then leave. I get there and it's the house. And I was like, oh, okay, so I'm walking the drive. And go, okay, it was a lot of, it was a lot of people that had this whole tent thing. And it was so intimate. And what I left there feeling, well, I stayed, I stayed for like four hours. And you know, it's all on me. If you catch me at your party for an hour, you do something. But I was there. I stayed there basically to the end because I was enjoying watching. So the husband and a wife, they've been together. I'm going to say like 45 years, maybe 50. And they still like each other. And their children, it was like they were enjoying their children because their children were, you know, one of the sons was a festival. He was hilarious. And the husband and wife, you could see that they enjoyed the shenanigans of their son, you know, probably gave them holy hell growing up or whatever.

12:41But they were still like kind of high-flying each other. Like, I'll we did this. The other son was just so make sure everything was right. Like you could tell a lot about people by their children. Both of their kids, amazing. They're adopted daughter. Amazing. Like everybody. And it was cousins. And the food was down home. The sister made the birthday cake. I mean, this person could afford an elaborate cake. His sister made the birthday cake. And it was amazing, you know, and I don't eat cake. Well, I like this cake is good. I had so much fun that I wish this were at like if you could just have relationships. And my my fear is with all of the social media and all of the influencers and all the Instagram telling people what they should be doing, that they're missing the very essence of what it means to be in a life, which is to have relationships. So I sat there like and then they called me the next day and said, okay, your partner family come get a plate. We got too much food. And I just felt like, man, this is this is what it should be. That's the way it should

13:42feel. This is the way she can. Because that's what you really take away from it, right? We have they made you feel. Yeah, they made me feel like part of family. And I just I feel like when I watch these, you know, Joe buttons put the ring on and all it felt like something clicked. Yeah, I'm going to not just lock it down because I may have diabetes or high blood pressure. Yeah, and I don't think Joe, but I don't think he's doing that. Ham and Lamont take excellent care of their lives and great shade. Yeah, even if his dick was a little dry that day. What is it? Whatever he said, whatever he said. Well, you know, and the other thing is the other newsflash, I think we have also, and I can't speak for all women, obviously, but I think we've also kind of put a lot of emphasis on the dick as if, you know, the big dick, the dick, this all day, dick, all of the, all of the dick stuff, right? It is going with this. What really I think people want is a relationship. And that's too much pressure. You should be able to be in a relationship with somebody and not worry about, you know, sex is important for some people. Kiki Palmer recently

14:42said she thought she was asexual. She was having a conversation. I think we're raping some mong and she was like, you know, one of the you said you were, she's like, sex is not important. To me, like, I'm not a hyperly sexual person. And when I watch people with the, oh, oh, and I don't feel that it's something wrong with me. And I will say, no, however you are, you will find your person that I think that now I'm not going to say they're not some dogs, both sexes out there that go into heat. Like they've got some kind of animal bullshit going along with them. That is not normal. I don't believe it is. I don't think as human beings we walk around having, I think there's something in the body called in the animal's body that's called estrus. And we don't have that. So I think everything around sex that is hyper, come on biology. No, I'm just saying I don't think that's like old knowledge, I think. But I think that that is performative. I think that people do what's maybe expected or what they think people expect of them or

15:43how they think they should perform. But I don't believe that human beings go into heat. Yes, you have a libido. But to your thing and to Keke's response, it is fake. It is unreal. And it is a learned behavior that people just take its customary at this point. The reason I turned a mic on today, if I turned on a mic every time you talk, we'd probably definitely get canceled, but also probably have a million downloads. I wanted to relieve some of the pressure from the brothers that are listening and from the sisters that are listening. You know, we should all aspire to have the kind of relationships that make us feel good. The way I left that house, that weekend feeling good, still basking in it. I think I was telling people about it and then they called me, you know, and I could still go back to that emotion that I felt being in that family. You know, no, that's not romantic love. But why should there be this separation between romantic love, familial love, all of the, you know, love should be all encompassing. All encompassing.

16:49It should take over your entirety and your wholeness. And I just want people to not put some much pressure on themselves. I had a guy on some dating. He's got a three day rule. He was really good, by the way. He was a great couple of weeks ago on my radio show on a Friday. He came in to talk about his dating. He's a matchmaker. Roger Gmarler, the black guy who tips and I were having the conversation. We were both like, oh, he kind of answered everything and it was really good. But it also kind of highlighted how lonely people are. He was very focused on, you know, love and people get married and and I was like, so many of us are in our phones, so many of us are trying to get clawed to talk to people for us. So many of us have not the social skills to even know what it is that we like and don't like what we will and will not accept. And it's not about a list of things because he said, you know, people come in with all this. Yeah, that's this thing. That's strong. It's wrong, but it also literally putting people into a bunch of little boxes. Right. But it also prevents you from having what could be an amazing experience on this earth, which

17:51which is something I think we all should have. So I just wanted to, you know, bring you on to thank you for bringing it up. I'm probably not going to talk about this on the radio because, you know, there's a fit in with, you know, our liberation. Maybe I don't know, but if you're not going to be on there to talk about it, I'm probably not going to talk about it.
