Welcome to a session of mindfulness for the Deccan of Libre II, the Living Chain.
0:06
This is a space to slow down, to breathe and to listen.
0:10
You always step into sacred time together, tuning into the rhythms of the heavens
0:16
and the way they echo quietly through our own lives and through the turning of the year.
0:23
This practice is here to help you come back to yourself through the breath, through awareness,
0:30
through a gentler kind of attention.
0:34
It's take a moment now to get comfortable.
0:36
Your body be supported if you decide to sit, light down or you may even decide to walk
0:43
by you through this meditation.
0:46
If you're sitting, let your spine be straight and your feet feel the connection with the
0:51
earth or the floor beneath you.
0:55
If it feels right to you, allow your eyes to close or you may prefer to just soften your gaze.
1:03
Bring your attention to your breathing.
1:08
Bring your awareness as you take a sip of breath in and then let it go gently.
1:18
And again, watching as you breathe in and noticing as you breathe out.
1:25
No need to force anything, you're just arriving in the stillness of the present moment.
1:33
And now as you breathe out, allow your shoulders to drop and relax a little.
1:40
Soften your jaw, relax your face.
1:47
See if you can release a little bit of the tension that you've been carrying from your day,
1:52
your week or your months, you don't need to keep it with you.
1:57
It's okay to release it now.
2:00
Sometimes we need to give ourselves a moment just to land.
2:09
And as we're paying attention to our breathing, to noticing the rise in the fall,
2:15
follow the path of your breath through your body.
2:20
Where does it enter and how does it feel?
2:23
Maybe it's cold or tickle slightly.
2:27
And how does it feel then as it follows its journey through your body?
2:31
Maybe there's a pause between breathing in and breathing out.
2:42
And do you feel the breath then leave your body warmer?
2:44
Then it was when it entered.
2:52
Notice if there's a part of your body where you feel the intensity of that breath,
2:56
a little bit more strongly.
2:58
You're a little bit more aware of it than you are in any other place.
3:03
Maybe it is at the tip of your nose when it first enters.
3:07
The back of your throat, your neck.
3:10
Down in your chest, your lungs, your heart center.
3:16
Maybe lower down your abdomen, your diaphragm.
3:24
Doesn't matter where that place is, it's personal to you,
3:28
but in mindfulness we call this place our mindful anchor.
3:32
And for the next few breaths, just practice breathing.
3:36
So you are breathing in and out of only that place.
3:40
Bring your full awareness to your mindful anchor.
3:45
Just notice the breath entering and leaving that place.
3:51
And if ever your mind drifts and it will, because that's what minds do,
3:57
you can just gently redirect it back to your mindful anchor and to my voice.
4:05
And it will come back here.
4:08
Now we keep practicing and that's what mindfulness is.
4:16
Now more we practice than all your body knows what to do.
4:20
And your mindful anchor is always with you.
4:23
You don't need to remember to take it with you.
4:26
Whatever you're doing in your day, if you need to take a moment to yourself,
4:31
you can just take a breath into your mindful anchor and your body will know what to do from there.
4:38
Maybe you'll have time for three breaths or five or even ten.
4:43
However long you've got, just take a couple of breaths into your mindful anchor
4:48
and allow your body to do the rest.
4:51
The more you've practiced it in a calm, quiet space,
4:55
the more your body will be able to help you.
4:57
One may be there's noise around you, one may be you need to release some tension or take a moment
5:05
to yourself to think.
5:11
When you feel settled, fully relaxed,
5:17
and you're confident in your mindful anchor, prepare to join me in a visualization.
5:23
You find yourself in an open space.
5:31
As you look around you, you realise that it's not fully open.
5:40
But there are pillars, a great sense of air and of light.
5:48
Maybe it feels familiar to you.
5:50
Maybe you've been here before.
5:54
Notice those tall pillars that are rising around you.
5:59
They're evenly spaced, balanced, almost quietly precise.
6:08
You notice that there's a calmness to this place.
6:13
It feels more like something that's been carefully planned and made.
6:20
You begin to walk and wander through this place.
6:25
Noticing how light it is.
6:29
So the air itself is carrying you a little, helping you move forwards.
6:39
What else do you notice?
6:41
In case all of your senses,
6:45
in terms of what you can see, smell, touch on other pillars maybe.
6:53
Are they cold or warm?
6:55
And sometimes air can taste differently in different places.
7:11
Is this a dusty place?
7:14
Or is the air fresh?
7:21
As you're moving through the space with careful exploration,
7:25
you sense a shift in the air.
7:31
You're not quite able to name it at first, but you feel some responsiveness.
7:36
Almost as though the space is aware of you.
7:46
And you start to think about Venus.
7:48
At first you imagined that maybe she's here as a statue.
7:58
Made in stone, but it feels like more than that, a quality in the space itself.
8:05
In the air that's moving around you, it's feeling softer and more connected.
8:11
There's so everything that you're meeting and moving through is in quite relationship.
8:19
You're not just moving through this place, you start to understand that you're actually part of it.
8:34
And now you begin to notice something you didn't see before, between the pillars,
8:40
something's catching your eye, glimping in the light.
8:45
There are fine links.
8:49
There's a chain, it's delicate, but it's steady.
8:53
And you move closer, reaching out your hand.
8:59
And as you touch it, you realise that each link is holding something.
9:03
As you make connection with it, it lights up, gently.
9:11
And a memory reaches you, a moment when you follow through.
9:15
There might have been something that you said you'd do and you did.
9:19
Might have been small, it's coming back to you now.
9:26
Maybe reflect on the question, where have you already shown that you can
9:36
The finance doesn't come, don't worry.
9:39
Let it arrive in its own time, maybe as you continue forward,
9:43
or maybe after the meditation, perhaps in a dream or in your mundane life,
9:48
moving through the world, doing every eight asks.
9:52
The answer may just come to you later.
9:57
You move to another link, this one feels different.
10:01
A little bit heavier maybe, something that took more from you.
10:08
More time, more effort, some patience, but you stayed with it.
10:15
And here it is, a strong link held in place.
10:23
And now you feel, yes, another shift.
10:25
You feel a better unsteady on your feet,
10:32
or you notice that your lifting is like the end of the air.
10:37
It just feel like you're leaving this place, more than your gaining perspective.
10:45
You're looking down on this place from a different angle.
10:49
You can see more of it now, you can see a pattern,
10:54
a connection in the way that these links are connecting together.
10:59
It's not random at all, but there's a shape to it, a structure that's been forming over time.
11:07
You reflect and ask yourself, what kind of patterns are my living inside of?
11:15
And maybe have I chosen them?
11:18
You spend a little while enjoying this new perspective.
11:28
What else can you see here?
11:32
Your senses notice anything different from this perspective.
11:37
Take your time, notice everything that you can.
11:50
When you're ready, return back down into the space where you were before, and continue on.
11:58
As you do, you notice that there's someone or something across from you.
12:08
You couldn't see them from the other perspective. They're not sharply defined,
12:13
but they are present and recognisable in some way.
12:22
You're aware of them, and there's a quiet moment when you realise that you've been
12:26
seen too. You haven't been alone here, but you don't feel the need to perform or go through
12:41
social niceties. But you do feel acknowledged, and you begin to realise that this chain doesn't belong
12:51
only to you. There exists between others as well. It links you to many others.
13:10
And as you have this realisation, you notice many other people.
13:15
That you hadn't seen before, either from the other perspective.
13:25
Well, when you were in the space, you just were, and you realised that you've had yet another shift.
13:32
You go back to the first person that you noticed, and let your attention move along the links
13:49
that stand between you. Some feel steady, easy, comfortable. Others not so much,
14:02
some a bit stretched or quiet. Venus isn't fixing anything here, but she is guiding and
14:13
showing you gently. You feel her concerned eyes on you, and you feel a question rising,
14:27
where does this feel mutual? And where does it feel out of balance? Allow yourself just to notice
14:38
without needing to change anything yet.
14:45
And then you begin to see it, a gap in the chain. It's not broken, it's just open, waiting.
14:56
There's no pressure here. Everything is okay, everybody is safe and well, but there is
15:05
possibility, something is beginning, or asking to, what is starting now, what is shifting into
15:20
something that's more defined. You realise that Saturn is here now.
15:33
You feel the difference straight away. There's a solidness, the presence, a cleanness.
15:45
There's no disruption of what's here, but he's giving it shape.
15:54
He's asking for honesty. He's asking you, what are you actually ready to sustain?
16:04
And he's asking what needs to be clearer.
16:13
And a question which might be hard to answer, what are you not willing to carry anymore?
16:24
If answers have come up, that's great, but if they haven't, that's okay too,
16:29
just allow them to stay and settle and see if any answers come up as you move on with your day.
16:38
But don't worry about what has or hasn't come to you.
16:45
Now you begin to reach forward to move into that open space.
16:51
There's no rush, but you begin to form a new link.
17:00
This one isn't going to be tied to the past. This one is a decision we're making here in this place.
17:12
I've ingrained all the perspectives that you have.
17:15
This is something simple and specific, something you know that you can actually follow through on.
17:28
What are you willing to commit to, consistently, maybe not perfectly? Let it take shape and then
17:38
place that link. You might feel it, a small shift, but it feels real.
17:48
For a moment just notice, you can feel this clearly here, now, and also since the wider pattern
17:58
that it belongs to, both are true. You can hold the perspective of both views.
18:10
You don't need to figure it all out, just this next step.
18:14
Breathe in and know that you're forging a new link, intentionally with perspective,
18:28
and breathe out, releasing any links to all patterns from the past.
18:35
Breathe in as you commit to this new link, this simple specific decision.
18:48
Breathe out as you release all patterns from the past.
18:53
Breathe in as you commit to this new link. Breathe out as you release all patterns from the past.
19:05
And when you feel ready, it will be time to leave this place, but you can always return whenever you
19:14
want to. This is your inner world. But when you need to make decisions,
19:26
if you need to make a commitment, you can always return here and explore the links in your chain
19:36
from your past and your present and consider what links you want to make for your future.
19:47
You can gain perspective on them.
19:56
And see what people they link you to.
20:08
But for now, it's time to return back to your breath and your mind flanker
20:19
as you inhale and connect with your body again.
20:25
Bring your attention back to the room that you're in and the noises that surround you.
20:39
And allow the whole and the pillars and the chain with the links to slowly fade.
20:49
And allow your awareness of your body and your breath.
20:55
To bring you back into the room.
21:07
Maybe move your arms and with your fingers,
21:13
stretch out your legs and move your toes.
21:19
When you feel ready, open your eyes.
21:25
Thee bute who has reminded us that connection matters, but that not all connections
21:30
there are ours to hold, and not every promise needs to be made even.
21:36
The ones that we actually do, the ones that are built slowly over time through what we actually do.
21:49
Maybe not perfectly, but honestly, one link at a time.
21:56
I hope you found this helpful and I'll be so grateful for your comments, your likes and
