Shaykh Yasir Qadhi delves into the subject of Udhiya. Udhiya is the sacrifice done to please Allah from 10 Dhul Hijjah till before Maghrib of 13 Dhul Hijjah. Sacrifice is one of the greatest deeds of worship during the days of Hajj. For every hair on the animal, one shall get a good deed. Udhiya is Wajib on every Muslim who is financially stable.  It is advisable to give one third each to the family, give to relatives and give to charity. Trimming of hair and nails is considered Makrooh during the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah for the ones who are giving Udhiyah and not performing Hajj.
