What are the benefits of delegating? You do more of what you love, you do more and more of what you want? Love. You do less and less of what you do not love. And procrastination leaves your life. Procrastination leaves you what? Why? Because this, think about it. How many of you procrastinate from time to time? Okay, everything goes up. The stuff that you procrastinate, usually, are the stuff that you're not good at or you don't love. The stuff that you love to do, you're good at, you don't procrastinate because you're good at it and you love to do it and you do it. So when you are being yourself, when you're doing what you're good at, what you love, you don't procrastinate. And that's why I don't have a ponder of procrastination. I am excited when I'm getting up in the morning. I can't wait to get to work. I can't wait to create stuff. I can't wait to make stuff happen because I love it.
I'll rather do that and do anything else. I'll rather do this than golf. It's very simple. It's very simple. You have much more free time and energy. You have less stress. You have less what? Stress. And tests get done better and faster and easier because now you're out of the way. And yes, you make a lot more money. A lot more money. A lot more money. So take two minutes. How long? This guy's a mount table. What does it mean for you personally? What does it mean for you? Two minutes? Go. And then we'll take a break. Give your partner a high five and say you're a master delegator. Okay. Questions, questions, anything? Questions. What covers of our yes? A couple of times you mentioned a mental. Yes. How important do you feel a mental?
Two. I everybody is just my opinion. It's very simple. I wouldn't be where I am without my mentor. That sums it up. Period. I would not be where I am today without my mentor. Period. I had some really good experiences with delegating and some not so good. I know your question. And my question here was, so at some point in time when you realized you could delegate a thing to somebody who's not really good at that. You end up doing it yourself and you're like, have we used the time twice? Twice. I waited for them to do it. And then I still have to do it myself. Is there a better strategy around? Yes. So the second part of a cover exactly, where do you find good people? How do you find good people? How do you manage them? I'll give you all that. I'll give you all that. Yes. I just have a comment on your own. Yes. I would not be here either with what I would be afraid of because me being the main reason I was in the business.
Very good. Very good. I like to let my old wife, I just need to have a fever. Oh welcome! What's your name? Cheryl? Cheryl. Yes. Everybody say hi Cheryl. Welcome to Vancouver. Oh great. Great. That's usually less profanity in a meeting just so you know, just because I'm speaking. Awesome. Where are you from? I'm from Edington. That's awesome. The cold. That's good. That's good. One more question? Yes. I have a fear around if I hire someone for cheap, the quality won't be as good. So what's your advice on cheap and good? How do you want cheap and good? You cheap skate. Actually I'm going to share with you cheap and good but also sometimes free and good. It's good. It's a way to do it. But not the way you might think about it. So let's go through one more slide and we'll take a break. So what does the delegated get out of it? That kind of answers the question a little bit partially because they might love it more than you do. They may what? Love it? They may get paid for it. They may want to learn. They may want to learn from you.
They may get exposure to interesting things or in some cases they just have a desire to help. They have a desire to what? To help. So sometimes it's us. We have a limited belief that we are afraid and we don't want to ask and we don't want to bother people. How many of you sometimes you want to ask for help but you have you hesitate because I don't want to bother people. How many have that belief? Think about it. So let's say you have that belief and I don't want to bother the people. Let's flip this. Flip the coin. Let's say if someone comes to ask you for help and they are sincere. Are you willing to help? Yes. So by thinking about if I don't ask for help, I don't want to bother people. I don't want to create trouble for them and if you think about it, you're actually robbing them from the satisfaction that they might get from helping you. Does that make sense? It's a different way of looking at it. It's not that you're bothering them. They want to help you. Just like when people ask you for help, you want to help them at the same time. And sometimes they might be a valid exchange. Sometimes money, sometimes you might do something for them. Whatever it might be. But knowing that most people, not everyone, but most people have a desire to help.
And if you just ask, they would say, sure. And sometimes they would maybe say, well, I can't do it. I don't have time to do it. But maybe I know somebody else that can help you. How many of them experience this actually? It's the same thing. There's a great book. Many years ago, written by, Mark Victor-Henzen and Jack Canfield, the Aladdin Factor. The Aladdin Factor. Like you know the Lamb? Yeah, great book. The whole book basically talks about the power of asking. Like this book, the power of asking. I think there's a same name audio program by Nightingale Kong and called the Aladdin Factor by Jack Canfield, Lockfick, the Hanson. I've got my library, a great program, a great program. Just the power of asking for help. Okay? So let's take a 10 minute break. How long? 10 minute break. And we come back again to some specific strategies. Okay? See in 10 minutes.
