About this episode
Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report" talks about Bill O'Reilly's dire warning for Donald Trump if Republicans lose the midterm elections; "The Fifth Column's" Kmele Foster having a tense debate with CNN's Abby Phillip and Jemele Hill over the obvious benefits of capitalism and why it isn't a system of oppression as Democrats have come to believe; Scott Jennings explaining to the panel of CNN's "The Arena with Kasie Hunt" why Jasmine Crockett's attacks on James Talarico are a warning sign of larger infighting within the Democratic Party; Border Czar Tom Homan giving an explicit warning to Zohran Mamdani and Kathy Hochul about interfering with his planned ICE raids in NYC and how Hochul putting illegal criminals back on the streets is hurting New Yorkers; Donald Trump mocking New York Governor Kathy Hochul for wearing a hijab while visiting the Islamic Cultural Center of New York; Islamic scholar Mohammad Nusairat admitting in a leaked video that Islam has no plans to coexist with other religions and why Sharia law is the true goal; and much more. Previous one on the Ruben I played basketball with that kind of film motherless goat He is a podcast Some of the media, mostly the white media, are interested in a fight What would I tune into to get what the white media is up to? How are we doing people? I'm Dave Ruben. This is the Ruben report. It is September 3rd, 2026. We are back into the swing of things and for those of you that watch the program yesterday I said I need a little time to get my sea legs back, got to get in fighting, shape, all of that stuff
Yesterday what did we decide at the end? The show was like I flubbed right at the end So the show was in 9, I'm not going to be happy ever unless it's in 9, 5 and above I don't believe in the 10. The perfect show is just simply impossible I'm always going for the 9, 9. When I get the 10 that's it Like we'll just wrap up the operation that day But I feel good about today's show I'm wearing a new jacket. I feel like I should be working on a cruise ship right now The buffet is over there, over there, enjoy And yes, it's a lot about the Democrat crazy stuff We're just stuck in it Of course virtually everything we do for the next two months Two months in a week basically No, actually two months too, I think tomorrow when is the midterm? Midterm is on November 5th, 6th? We'll get, we'll get, oh, it might be even today Whatever it is, roughly two months, it's all going to be about the midterms Because this really is it right now Like as we watch the woke thing which as you know has morphed into its real final form now Which is just full on, you know, socialism, communism, Marxism, jihadism,
Islamism, whatever it is Like now it's gaining political power And do we have enough juice? Does America and the, whatever sane people remain here Do we have enough juice to push it back for the midterms? Let Trump do what he does what he has to do for the next two years And then hopefully build beyond that Like that's really where we are at So that'll be sort of the meta stuff that we're doing for the next two months Just littered with a lot of craziness, how about that? So let's dive in And we'll start with my friend Bill O'Reilly Who made a point that I've been making for quite some time About how important these midterms are Not only for the country but for a certain orange man But the Democrats win the Senate and the House It's over for a present Trump It's over Because they'll impeach him They'll sue him They'll every two minutes will be something else And nothing will ever get passed Nothing
So it can be two years of let's get Trump That's what'll happen He's not going to get impeached and convicted anyway Trump So um It's not the votes there So this thing is very personal For Donald Trump Because he's got to know That the Republicans have got to take at least one house He's asked him Or his whole legacy blows up Gives out like LBJ Lyndon Johnson Okay, so it's not just the the legacy is secondary I mean I would say it's that the country in many ways will implode We will Usher the just imagine the steroids That all the crazies will be on and that And the amount of Republicans who will jump Ship from Trump like we will have the craziest two years you can possibly imagine But don't take my word for it take Dave Rubens word for it He was on the Sean Hannity podcast a day or two before he left off the grid
People really better understand that it's not the Trump has two and a half years left He may only have three months left That in essence is where we could be Good point if if the Republicans lose the house and lose the Senate Well, first of all they lose the house. He's going to get hung up in impeachment He will likely not be impeached But meaning we will end up with the two He'll be impeached No, no, he'll be impeached Right no, no, he'll be impeached But will he probably won't be removed from office They're not going to get enough votes in the Senate one way or another or something But the point is that the process to end these last 10 years of Magga And everything that has happened since 2015 Will begin and then It's not just that they will be involved in the crazies on the left will be involved and then the fighting on the right To whatever extent we've already talked about it That's going to go completely bananas because it's going to be like rats jumping from a ship And then you're going to have all these people leaving Trump And trying to pick up the pieces it's going to be complete chaos So people really better understand that it's not just that at this midterm Which everyone always says it's the most important election of all time like I don't see how it could possibly
Be more important than it is right Do you remember yesterday we showed you a clip of Vrondis and I just talked about how great things are in Florida And he said that the thing we have to fear Basically is apathy that things are working So you know people when things are working you forget that they can go poorly And maybe you don't vote on election day or you don't talk to your friends about what's going on Or you don't really pay attention And you don't really worry that everything could flip overnight I think in some sense what what my job is now over the next two months Is to show people what I believe to be true Which is that we not only can we not be apathetic We have to be we have to be like sort of crazy for the next two months like a little crazy You know just is never who did that so was that seal a little crazy Something did seal do a song about a little crazy Somebody work on that for me. Give me some lyrics out of that thing We just got to be a little crazy right now Because we need people to understand that everything that that guy Dave Rubin just said in that Anity show was right the Democrats will be in bold and the Republicans will completely fracture like we will
Why we will really watch the end of the Republican party and then imagine what the Democrats will do When in power, but you don't have to imagine it you just have to listen to them And what will they do pack the courts? What will they do make DC a state What will they do open the borders again? What will they do get rid of ice like I can do this all day long of the horrible Anti-American and and anti-constitutional and everything else things that they will do so get a little crazy right now Like get get into some conversations and wake some people up now Donald Trump I think is taking this seriously. It's partly Because of what O'Reilly said his legacy, but I think Trump actually cares more about believe it or not I actually think the Trump does care more about the country than his own legacy But here he is saying he's going all in right now and there's about 35 key races that will hopefully keep the Republicans in power I'm gonna take the final 30 days. There may be a little bit more than that
Because it's all about 35 races You know some of you guys are Are leading by so much. Please don't make me go to your area if you're leading by 40 points and you've been there for 25 years Like the speaker He leads by 42 points and he has it made Please don't ask me to come to your area and make his speech right but I'm gonna go to every one of those 35 places and we're gonna see if we can get everyone elected All right, and we know this is where Trump said his best. Where is he at his best? He's at his best when he's on the road He's at his best when he's doing rallies He's at his best when he's gin and up the base The Democrats are going to keep ramping up the crazy. They only have one direction, right? So it's always gonna be ramping up crazy But Trump getting out there again and getting with the people again that might be a positive antidote I also like that he acknowledges yeah There's some races that Republicans have huge leads don't waste your time with that But but get out there and vote he the president of the United States doesn't have to waste his time going to districts that are a slam dunk But you still got a vote right to make sure those slam dunks are slam dunks
But he's gonna be out there doing it. We all have to wake up and and really the question is okay Well, if we don't what are we ushering in by the way, yes, I was right there is a Song by seal Called crazy and they gave me a couple lines here, and I think this is quite applicable But we're never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy. No, we're never gonna survive unless we're a little crazy Crazy yellow people. What does that mean walking through my head one of them's got a gun to shoot the other one and yet They were friends at school. Oh get it get it get it get it. No, no If all were there when we first took the pill then maybe maybe maybe then maybe miracles will happen as we speak Well, I think the first line or two were applicable the yellow people thing. I'm not exactly sure how that and Joe have several Asian employees and I apologize in advance and don't don't bring that to H.R Okay, so what are we fighting against well? Of course it is a bunch of people who want to destroy The capitalist system that we live in the capitalist system which allows people to own property
Which allows you to exchange goods freely which creates the most liquidity in the system without government interference Who said it's the best of all bad systems like that? It gives you the opportunity to have some skin in the game and build something for yourself You know pursue happiness the bunch of guys wrote something about that a couple hundred years ago But the Democrats do want to destroy it. So James Talleriko who as you know, he had Jasmine Crockett She was insane. He was more insane. So they went with her in the Democrat primary And now or they went with him in the temperate Democrat probably well him her it doesn't even matter He does Non-binary all that stuff They went with Talleriko and he could potentially be the next senator in the great state of Texas Well, this video just came out it to 2020 Meeting that Talleriko was in on zoom and just look at all these these people are just all Like you can just bar fall over them and of course. Yes capital is some impressive horrible and we've got to get rid of it Communities of color
Received the most harm from the impacts of climate change And yet receive the least government support to deal with it Tell us about one of the committees you are on or hope to be on and the most important actions that committee could take Defied for climate justice and mitigate the impacts of climate change for all Texans Yeah, and I'm so thankful that you asked this question and also thankful that young activists have have really drawn the link between Climate change and white supremacy and capitalism in our country and I think only Ending the ways that all three of those oppressive systems work together Are we going to be able to begin the process of dismantling them? There was only one person who was remotely sane in that entire zoom meeting And it was the lady who was drinking red wine and the lady did you see her like that lady knew what was up She was like I don't know what I'm doing here, but I'm gonna be drunk for it What the link between climate change and white supremacy? I mean this is but it's all standard stuff like it might sound crazy to us
It does sound crazy to us But the point is it is what is now wholly infected Virtually everybody on the left with those few outliers that I'm always talking about and if you want a perfect example of that This was quite interesting on CNN. This happened. I think two days ago This is a guy by the name of the of Kamell Foster and here he is Defending capitalism on CNN talking about why it's not oppressive. We've got a couple clips here. Take a look He's not alone. I mean a lot of Democrats don't think capitalism is working It's one thing to not think capitalism is working Is working ideally. It's another thing entirely to insist that it is oppressive that it is bound up with white supremacy Well, I've always I've always preferred I've always preferred Adam Smith's description of capitalism as the natural system of liberty the idea that people can own property that they can exchange it freely with one another for profit That they can find ways to put their resources to good use those private property and and profit in a way that is actually beneficial to everyone else
That there can be gains from trade that are mutually beneficial These are foundational ideas that have created more wealth than any other system in human history That is what capital is not white supremac Wow Well done somebody besides scotch-edding's or sure Michael singled in over on CNN making sense a very simple explanation of what capitalism is and note it has nothing to do with race He didn't say and this is for white people or this is for black people or yellow people as it were or anything else right? The point is that when you create a system that allows people to voluntarily make decisions voluntarily enter the economy decide who they want to trade with work with live next to and everything else That creates the conditions of freedom and the conditions of freedom are good for everybody Regardless of their skin color now the woman who is next to him We've shown video a lot of videos of her over the years is former ESPN anchor who went completely crazy Woke who's everything's white supremacy everything's racism misogyny all the usual stuff
She keeps saying how is it not how is how is capitalism not part of white supremacy Well here she tries to push that idea on him and he pushes back That is what Allways work that way Has all in I've just described the actual is work actually just disrupt the basic facts of the Always work slavery is an institution that is older than writing it predates capitalism the notion that white supremacy and all these other things are bound up with capitalism and intrinsic and fundamental way is so absurd and lab How is it absurd? It barely needs to be defended. What do you mean it barely needs to be defended? You actually have to articulate what the connection is how are these two things the same? I'm talking about private property the right to exchange and sell it But you're talking about capitalism and what does that have to do with white supremacy? Was intended to work versus how is actually working That's not what I was working right now today. What is the white supremacist dynamic of private property? It's not working. That's the problem. I know we stopped to clear there it goes on she never
Offers up any explanation of what capitalism has to do with white supremacy. She may not like capitalism Um, and she doesn't really like America and she doesn't like the founding or anything else Um, but that doesn't mean that the system of economics that our country is based on has anything to do with race I run a shy few businesses. I pay these people to do their job Is that somehow connected to white supremacism? I don't think so right? I'm not forcing anyone to do anything and then I pay them for their services And they want to wrap that up in something that has to do with race It's profoundly absurd, but it's ironic that uh this lady jamelle hill that she doesn't like capitalism because I saw her once at the airport About two years ago at the Miami airport. I saw her walking with michael jordan not NBA player michael jordan michael b jordan the actor creed From the movies and she was wearing the craziest shoes that I had ever seen and we tried to I described to my guys
What they were they were the craziest furry shoes like I was looking at her like lady those things have to cost a couple grand And I don't know that these were the exact ones. They actually were brown, but this is saint moron I've been told and it looks like they're about 1700 bucks So she was wearing something like that. She don't really hate capitalism And if I'm not mistaken in her lawsuit with the espn she walked with about 10 million bucks. So Not really otherwise she would have you know not taken that money or maybe donated it to the Socialists or something like that anyway great job by foster over there She walked with six million from the espn because she's racist and told them they were racist I should get a gig over there Scott Jennings since we're talking about CNN Here he is pointing out how everyone's focused on Republicans melting down Individions with Republicans and everything else, but it's the Democrats who yes particularly in Texas have a huge problem On their hand and yes, we'll throw to the bumper. It's been a while
Access, you know everyone wants to talk about the divisions of the Republicans in Texas Nobody around here seems to want to talk about the fact that jasmine crocket Does nothing for James Tallerico has been attacking the Democratic Party after that very divisive primary I haven't saw the other day she was talking like maybe she's not even a Democrat anymore I think Tallerico has problems on his left flank. I think he has problems with African-American voters down there It's the same for L. C. Ed and Michigan major problems with African-American Democrat voters up there as well So we spent a lot of time around here talking about Republican issues the Democrats internally have issues in Texas and Michigan If they lose those two states the path to a Senate majority would be difficult Well, I will say that jasmine crocket will vote for Tallerico and down ballot I asked my Republicans will john Because I'm friends with her. I know. Why is she creeping on it? She will she's not gonna vote for Ken Paxon give him break But she's not playing all the time. Will john point in vote for Paxon? He said he's voted Republican as entire life All right, the point of all of that is that yes, we the Republicans have problems
And they're what do I always say it's like the Democrats are completely insane the Republicans are not great They're really not like Florida. We have some great Republicans and there are a couple across this country Obviously right in certain very specific districts usually in red states. There's good local Representatives and things of that nature. There are some people that are out there. We have a great administration all that But generally the Republicans are not great But the Democrats are completely insane at this point you have you have totally insane anti-American radicals Fighting a bunch of ineffectual people that don't know how to defend themselves on the Republican side You can say, okay, these people you know some of these people aren't great Republicans or aren't America first or Whatever you want to say about them, but basically on the Republican side these are people who like America and They maybe just aren't particularly good politicians something like that I'd rather go with that and see what happens but speaking of the Texas Texas Senate race Let's talk about call sheet for a minute because James Calarito might be the Texas Senate winner And here's what the call sheet markets are showing
Guys call sheet like buying or selling a stock except the line isn't set by an algorithm working against you It moves based on where the money goes It shows where people are putting their money not what the media wants you to believe if you put a hundred dollars on Yes, Ken Paxton you can earn a hundred eighty two dollars if correct download the call sheet app and use code Ruben report to get 25 dollars when you trade 25 bucks Kale sh i call sheet put your money where your prediction is of course Texas one way or another you got to feel like Texas with all the guns and the alamo and everything else like Texas feels like it'll be kind of okay one I cannot imagine well, I guess I can imagine anything It's it seems a little hard to imagine that Calarico with the non-binary stuff and the hatred of capitalism wanting to take the guns and open the board That seems like a bit much for a John Wayne Texas state to go for we shall see places that really are collapsing Of course her Callie in New York and let's focus a little bit more on New York right now look at this headline from the New York post Ice nabs over
2000 illegal migrants across New York in operation rotten apple Including child rapist and killers kind of leave that up for a minute look at these guys like Were they all taken out of casting 101 could you look like a child rapist and killer like look at these People what are they doing in our country? They are all here illegally. They all look like child rapists and murderers and psychopaths but You're gonna love this it turns out that Yeah, we arrested 2000 of them, but thousands of them had been arrested already and then released here is secretary of dhs mark Wayne mullen Well these targeted individuals it was over 2100 or 2100 individuals These targeted individuals were arrested and put into the state pitate entry and they were released 13,000 individuals since January 20th were released after ice tried to put detainers on them and they were going to put them back on the street These are child rapists these are
child predators these are sexual assault individuals these are individuals that murdered people that are drug Traffickers gang bangers and ice just and they're posted not there are any supposed to be in the in the country to begin with They were illegal they had no status and I said hey We're gonna pick them up before you release them out of prison and because you have a liberal governor in New York They released them back on the streets Do you realize how insane that is These people had been arrested and because the state won't work with ice they released them these were child predators and like the worst of the worst and Like Kathy Hocal should have to step down Right then and there Kathy Hocal we just had to re-arrest 2000 people of which you guys knew What terrible things they had done now we get it you don't like ice But don't you care about the people of New York and the fundamental answer to that is no the Democrats do not care about their own constituents Because they're trying to import new constituents that is exactly what is going on here
We're gonna show you this is a video of an interview that Tom Homan did on Fox But first it's a it's Kathy Hocal referencing this whole thing and then Homan blowing it up That these individuals are about to be released and they should be deported That's always been our policy for decades You know what? Sometimes they don't even show up Ice doesn't even do their job. They don't care So I'm not buying what they're selling here What we are seeing however from ice is an attempt to criminalize the very Fact of being an immigrant and we are seeing a terrorizing of immigrants across our city It frankly across our nation Look, you know, but first of all Hocal's lying stone-called lie This past year over 13,000 detainers were not heard so she says she cares about you know Working with ice on criminal alien public safety threats 13,000 detainers that weren't honored and also she just signed legislation That says local law enforcement can't work with us. She ended up 287 g programs
And she's no longer that's us allows us to rent beds from local sheriff So these all you know the 2,200 aliens we arrested Men in we moved out of state immediately. We don't have a bed here in the state And finally I'll tell her this listen to your own sheriffs. You got 15 sheriffs in the state Sooing you over this legislation that you just signed. I mean, it's not that complex guys Who do you believe Kathie Hocal or Tom Homan right? These are people who New York knew were horrible people That they let out because they did not want to work with ice then when they get out ice has to then quite literally He says move them to another state because there are some states that will function and work with ice Florida's at the top of the list of course But she does not care about the average New Yorker. I also want to quote Mom down me there ice wants to criminalize the fact of being an immigrant They are illegals They are criminals in that they came here illegally in the first place on top of the fact that then they commit crimes here
That that every interview he does he doesn't get called out on that is a Well, it's just obvious to what the mainstream media is but they want to endlessly conflate So you will not even know what you're talking about. Oh my god. Look what they're doing to immigrants my grandmother was an immigrant No These are illegals you know it here's one more from Tom Homan on Zorhan Tom Homan Of course will play Tom Homan in the movie about Tom Homan called the Tom Homan story As far as no dummy look I'm an equal opportunity to porter. I don't care where you're from I don't you know, I don't care what country you're from if you got an order of removal issued by the immigration judge you're gonna go home And yes, that's actually true. He is an equal opportunity De Porter because over august you I think we cover this with dr. Drew Milo Yanopoulos who's a british provokator Who was here on some sort of visa and did not show up to One of the meetings that he was supposed to show up to for a visa renewal or whatever it is
He was deported now interestingly. He's white and British and he was deported but strangely So obviously if he's white and British they're not just going after black and brown people Which is what everyone on the left is telling us but you would think that the where where the democrats defending Milo where the democrats going Why why aren't you why they send him back? I mean he's gay they sent a gay guy back to a Muslim country Right Britain. I mean that's tough. That's got to be tough candy claim asylum for that But they don't really care when people get deported. They don't like his politics now of course he should be deported He missed his thing like you got you got to go it doesn't matter because homin actually is upholding the law not upholding a political ideology We have a lot of work to do to wake these people up Let's talk about chapter and then we'll get to more on the other side guys Medicare can be confusing and a lot of people sign up for a plan and then never look at it again But your health changes your prescriptions change your doctors change in your coverage should still fit your needs That's where chapter comes in chapter is independent trusted Medicare advisors who compare every plan nationwide
And advocate for you not the insurance companies They'll look at your doctors your prescriptions and what matters most to you and then help you determine whether your current plan Still makes sense if you're already on the right plan They'll tell you and if not they'll help you understand your options to make a change the calls completely free There's no pressure to sign up and they can review your options in under 20 minutes Historically seniors who work with chapter have saved an average of $1,100 a year Don't leave something as important as your Medicare coverage on autopilot call chapter today at 3 3 2 8 6 7 0 207 again, that's 3 3 2 8 6 7 0 207 to speak with a trusted advisor today Let us continue with the Botox to Bafoon in New York mayor Kathy Hokel Donald Trump went after her a couple days ago this on truth Kathy Hokel consider the worst governor in the country in a recent picture working very hard to get the Arab vote Even though they can't stand her congestion pricing in Manhattan is hurting her with everybody But especially the people for whom she wears the hijab the whole thing is crazy president Donald Trump
And there she is at a mosque and it's so funny because of course she was a big leader in me too and my body my choice I don't think they would have let her in without wearing that head scarf over her head She saw that post by Trump You know also women have to sit in the back in mosques with most series of other things She saw that post by Trump and she wrote this I was a guest in a Muslim house of worship and showed respect for the people who welcomed me That used to be the standard in the country before you came along I'll never apologize for treating people of any faith with dignity no matter how Islamaphobic you and your enablers are All right lady well here's what I wrote to that because the hypocrisy is just completely Off the charts Do they perform gay weddings at that mosque aren't you an ally to the LGBTQ Elementop community why support such a place of bigotry you Botox before I wanted to say the other be word But I'm trying to be nice after I've just got off the off the grid That's the point guys
Let's put aside everything else with the invasion that we have going on and all all of that stuff This is a woman who is a proud supporter of the LG BT community and she goes out there in the parades And she's fought for gay marriage which actually was equality so that was just fine But all the other stuff right and then she'll show up in her intersectional state of lunacy at a mosque where they will not perform gay marriages So which is it pick one lady pick one zorhan now zorhan We know you're just using you're just using all the useful idiots Hocal happens to be a useful idiot But if you are a gay person and you support her you are also a useful idiot would she show up at a church that was not for um Interracial marriage Of course not But what she's saying is gay is we don't really care about you the Muslims are our new base. They will vote for us No matter what
So we're going for them Logically it makes no sense help me work through like just help me work through logic if you actually care about gay people There are as I always talk about there's about 50 Muslim countries gays are not treated equally in any of them and are killed in many of them And not one mosque in the United States performs gay marriages I'm not for forcing those mosques to do it But there are many churches that perform gay marriages there are many synagogues that perform gay marriages and it's up to them to do that or not and that's just fine But she will go to a mosque put on their headscarf uh Act as a dimmy and then throw one of her key constituencies under the bus But get guess what guys this is all getting this to the to the end game of all of this where we will realize that the intersectional Monstrosity that they've tried to create really is just a straw man I saw the story a couple days ago or when I got back on the grid And I had to say to Joseph when he sent it to me it was like is this real because what where is this?
I'm not seeing this in anything on mainstream, but check this out This is from iMeanX commentator three days ago a gunman open fire outside Venture N a Tucson gay bar two men are dead the shooter dead Police now call it a targeted hate crime. He had a list of LGBTQ businesses on him You probably didn't even hear about it because the shooter wasn't the approved villain He wasn't a white Christian nationalist He was osamon cc 44 a Muslim immigrant born in Gambia He confronted two men in the parking lot and started shooting one of the victims was Cameron Davis Capra a well-known local photographer and left-wing political activist who spent years documenting pro-Palestine marches Anti-ice actions anti-Trump anti-Fashes and rallies and anti-capitalist no-king circles The other was Vincent Anthony sequeros both were killed where they stood Police didn't rush out a mug shot package some coverage danced around the shooter's background National cameras never really showed up no wall-to-wall specials no democratic officials lining up the podiums to denounce homophobia and
Demand action the story drop fast and that's the tell when the facts don't fit the script the outrage Machines stays quiet two men get murdered outside a gay bar the killer leaves a target list and the same people who never miss a chance to let Lecture the country about hate suddenly have nothing to say if that doesn't show you how selective the media and the virtue signal crowd Really are nothing will so you get it gaze they will throw you under the bus to protect The in this case literally the Muslim jihadists they don't want people to think that Islam does not like the gaze So they'll let a couple gay guys be killed outside of a gay bar in Tucson And then I didn't see this anywhere on mainstream did you Person watching this on the other side of the screen right now did you see this on CNN last night? Did you see it on MSNBC last night? Why did it just get buried you know exactly why and the crazy part is that one of the guys the photographer He was an anti-Trump guy. He was a pro Palestine guy
But they don't care it's in some sense It's the same thing if you think about October 7th. It's the same thing When the Hamas guys came in they didn't go those are some Jews who are You know they're friendly to us. They work with us. Those are Jews who they're okay They live near Gaza because they want coexistence. No, they slaughter everybody That's how it works and they're out there across the country telling us this all the time Here's an Islamic scholar in Chicago. His name is Muhammad Nasarit and I don't think he likes this place very much And fortunately these days we don't repeat this enough where we don't we don't have this this ugly the concepts firm in our minds that Islam did not come to coexist Islam is Islam la yu'ala And Islam yaloo wala yu'ala alay And Islam is raised high and nothing is raised above Islam We can't think of Islam that I came to live with these other religions in the sense that Islam is a religion among those religions And they have a share with the truth and they have a share of
Justice and they have a share of you know this Worship of Allah's will correct worship of Allah's psalat Islam came to correct all of that Islam came to remove the oppression of all those religions and it is the only truth and it is the only way to justice I want to present a question maybe you can already figure out what I think of this guy But question in a in a same society or if this was a movie And there was a guy in a movie who was telling you I live in a place That I don't like very much and I subscribe to a set of ideas that is going to subjugate everybody else here And my set of ideas will rain supreme and my set of ideas is completely at odds with the foundational views of the place that I live in What what would happen in a movie what would the good guy in the movie do the good guy in the movie would kick that guy out of the country Marco Rubio if you're watching the Rubin report today Find that guy like you should not be able to be in the country We are going to have to denaturalize and deport people
I'll go on the assumption that that guy's an American But you're going to have to start denaturalizing people like what how can you survive It's a simple is that like how can a country over time survive as a certain set of people say we're here to destroy all your Your political institutions We're here to usher in a religion that will supersede the laws of the land We're going to reproduce at way higher rates. We are going to vote monolithic monolithically And work here to take over and they're being very open and honest about it I guess if anything you have to kind of credit them for it like They're doing it And the point of all of this is that intersectionality they've done it so effectively that you still You still have Queers for Palestine You still have all of these groups that think that somehow if we align with these people They're going to do something for us and what they are doing is they are building their caliphate on your backs You fool so I want to jump back All the way to 2014 Because I was well you know I was a lefty you guys know I was a Bernie supporter all all of the stuff
Hey nobody's perfect, you know we've all lived many lives And I was waking up to a lot of this because when I was at the young Turks that Bafoon Janki Uger the uncle of Hassan Piker and Hassan was there too There was this endless fetization about Islam and it seemed very odd to me because they were all progressives and you were supposed to be for women And you were supposed to be for gays and then that but they loved This religion That wanted to subjugate all those people and often beheaded people if they drew cartoons and things of that nature Um, and you may remember this this I remember watching this live on a Friday night in 2014 and our little Shackaba Place in West Hollywood this was real time with Ben Affleck and Sam Harris and Bill Maher and they got into it over Islamophobia That's the proof I knew the person who understands the officially codified doctrine of Islam You're gonna try to know so you can say what I think and it's actually well educated on this topic I'm asking you saying if I criticize the you're saying that Islamophobia is not a real thing that if you're critical of something
Well, it's not a real thing when we do it right Well, no, it's really yes I'm not denying that certain people are bigoted against Muslims as people that and that's a problem big of you But the We have to look at this because it's gross. It's racist. It's not it's but it's so it's so it's like saying so not your shifty Jew you're not listening to what we are saying you guys are saying if you want to be liberals believe in liberal principles Right freedom speech like you know, we're in doubt by our four thousand a little more electric all men are created no Ben we have to be able to criticize bad ideas and of course we do know the rule doesn't okay, but is but why would is the mother load of bad ideas? She so we have it we have okay So I watched that live and it crystallized in my mind so much of what I had seen in the left Ben Affleck was acting like All of the progressives act now. They're constantly outraged right there They're calling everyone Islamophobic and bigoted racist and you get all of that stuff and and bill Particularly points out there. It's not racist when we do it in that do you think Bill Mares racist?
Do you think do you think Sam Harris? I have differences with certainly the Sam you think he's racist? You have to be Islam is a set of ideas and the places that Islam Exists where it has power again. There are 50 plus Muslim nations in any of those nations Are there Christians that have massive rallies trying to convert Muslims? Zero no, there are none and yet we saw them in Australia and they're happening in the United States and Canada and the UK and France and everywhere else Right, so in the nations that Islam reign supreme Everyone else is subjugated in the nations where freedom in the Western nations where freedom reign supreme Islam is a is allowed to spread and and in fact otherwise freedom loving places and the fact that he gets so upset about it is not And the idea of Islamophobia Affobia is an irrational fear is it irrational if you were gay or you are a woman or you were a non-believer or you are a Christian or a Jew or an
Atheist is it irrational to fear a set of ideas that would have you killed? No, it would be the most rational thing So actually some of you probably remember this I dedicated don't burn this book the actual dedication on the first page was to Ben Affleck for that very moment His overly emotive ridiculous Behavior in that interview that was the thing that woke me up. I wrote a bit about it Let me just read one little paragraph for you looking back. I probably should probably thank Affleck for this He inadvertently became the blunt instrument that hit sane people over the head Yes, it was an alarm bell for me and an unfair to Maran Harris But this eight-minute clip was also a political awakening for millions of others once seen it couldn't be unseen And the way you can really if you're a little confused about what's going on here Imagine if they had been talking about Christianity would Ben Affleck have ever gotten so up in arms about it Of course he wouldn't of course he wouldn't And that is the fundamental difference you can live in a Christian nation make fun of Christianity all day long
Recommend you turn on any episode of family guy and see what they do with Jesus or what they're doing in churches or anything else You can make fun of it all day long you can make fun of Judaism all day long Have you ever seen curb your enthusiasm or sign felt you can do all those things and you should be allowed to do all those things But one set of ideas if you make fun of You're basically going to be destroyed and or killed preferably You get it anyway one of the leading promulgators of this horrific ideology is my former boss jank and I'm not you know I kept saying to Phoenix now that I'm back like I don't want to get involved in the he said she said stuff and all the In fighting and all this stuff, but this is just great because he is a fat islamist pig and his chair broke while live on pierced Morgan's show I don't like people saying I hate American I don't we deserve 9-11 yeah, you're you're not you said that I love America America so much we want to represent America instead of The hours being blown up behind him because you love America. Okay. Okay. Let me stop you there And let me let me play let me play let me play a little mashup of your nephew check has a pike and the controversial things
He said oh here we go here we go back to Well, sorry I'm gonna talk about mic Rogers I You got a man the most sad is good. They sent someone right in there to fiddle with his chair those pesky Israelis with the fin They were like what is he wearing and we're gonna have to dig her the chair and it'll break in the middle of the show um, and yeah, we love America. We just showed you the video yesterday of of Hassan his nephew again who got the job at Young Turks only because he was his nephew and was horrible to women and a terrible basketball ball hog at every We showed you the compilation of him talking about how much he hates America everything that these guys do is a hatred of them Everything that Bernie says is a hatred of America that Abdul al-Sayed says that m- Zamdani and Zordani and ding-dongi and douchebaggy and all the rest of them everything that they say is a hatred of the country we got two months to stop them But at least um if we don't stop them you might have an animal You might have a pet a dog perhaps and I want that dog to eat well
Which is why I like Sundays for dogs and guys when I rescued cried from a shelter How the hell was that on us? I mean that was pretty professional when I rescued cried from a shelter during COVID just before He was scheduled to be put down true story I promised I'd give him the best life possible and that includes what goes into his bowl Like a lot of people I used to feed him regular kibble without thinking much about it Then I looked at the ingredients and realized that I couldn't pronounce half of them That's why I switched to Sundays for dogs It's made with over 80% all natural meat plus real superfoods like kale ginger and blueberries No fillers chemicals no mystery ingredients and unlike fresh dog food There's no refrigeration or prep just scoop and serve Clyde absolutely loves it I just toss it out in the yard and I wouldn't put in a bowl I just tossed for real and I've noticed a healthier coat better digestion And he's always excited for me all time they even have a new raw a new fish recipe made with 80% whole and minced fish That's packed with omega-3s to support healthy skin joints and brain function Make the switch to Sundays go right now to sundaysfordogs.com slash rubin and get 50% off your first order or use code Rubin to check out that's 50% off your first order at sundaysfordogs.com slash rubin or use code
Rubin at checkout and yeah if you don't do that you know when you feed a dog you just put the dog food in the bowl and they just 30 seconds later they've just eaten their food for the day right they have the one In mourning usually and one at night Someone showed me this years ago Scoop it and just throw it out in the backyard into the grass on the pavement whatever it is And it takes time they have to think their digestion will be better That's just a little hints from Dave All right guys, we're gonna spend the rest of the show doing a locals community Q&A Joseph is at the computer with the internet right there If you want to get a question in live you can go to rubin report.locals.com and here we go Sarah says welcome back What do you look forward to when you come back from august and what do you most dread? I think I would like to be able to text friends and family and I would hate having a phone to doom scroll on I mean what do I look forward to most? I mean honestly it's it's doing the show and and being with my team Like these guys are all my friends and we all hang out outside of the office And and I do love doing this for all the frustrating things with politics and dealing and you know I keep saying I didn't think about any of these people
Like I didn't think of Hassan or Zorhan or any like I didn't but I do love doing this And I love interacting with you guys and all of that stuff But really seeing my friends the fact that Connor got engaged Phoenix got engaged like everyone's lives continued and And you know that we come here every day and it's fun and we're laughing and all that stuff that That's what I Missed the most what did I dread the most um? You know I always have this weird Literally I kid you not on august 31st. I have this weird 24 hours where I think I said something like this to drew Where I'm like boy can I do this anymore? Do I even know how to do it anymore? Am I doing something that is net good? Does any of this matter when I try to explain some of this stuff like it seems like things Just slowly keep getting worse like You know, how can I be better about it like? Like do I want to just narrate the end of the world like I get into like this weird existential crisis after After having 30 great days like I'm telling you I had the best month of my life
It was it was fulfilling it was fun. It was fulfilling on a personal level So much time with the kids and family and friends and you know as I said we went we went to Greece and we traveled and It was just great But yeah, the doom scrolling I feel like um well, I said to Phoenix right before the show today I feel like I don't have a great handle on everything just yet like I do think it's gonna take me probably Another four or five days to fully get back into the fray like I'm looking at twitter or x And it just all seems kind of particularly crazy I'm seeing a lot of fighting still like I don't want to be part of that and I want to do something that's better and more elevated here And I also you know I did notice because yesterday I was on my phone more than I I had been for a month And I'm trying to control it that had like a little like kind of dull headache at the end of the night from looking at this thing And yeah the doom scrolling and all that so each year I try to get a little bit better at it Bill says what was the most shocking thing to come back to whether in the news your personal life or with the team? You know news-wise
Nothing blew me away Nothing really blew me away. There wasn't anything. Yeah, I mean There was just kind of the usual political stuff, you know dolly past and you know a few other things There was nothing really shocking on that front. What was the second part of the question? It was all about shocking or was it also Or in my personal life or with the team? I mean my personal life there was nothing shocking to come back who because I was more invested in my personal life than I get to be all the time Like the truly the joy of the whole thing was just spending so much time with my kids like just waking up every I was able to wake up every morning with them which I'm still I'm doing this week too and I'm gonna try to do for the For the near future like they're usually up at 7 a.m And I'm gonna just try to wake up with them and play through like that early morning time with them And then as I mentioned to Drew, you know getting to go to my house that I grew up in My parents bought in 1979 when I was three years old and to go into the basement Where I used to play with you know GI Joe and transformers and star wars when I was four years old
And then to have my kids playing literally with my toys in that room um and playing with them was just I can't even explain what that is like it's it's as affirming and validating about the circle of life as you can possibly get it was just unbelievably Awesome Took him to my elementary school. I was it was just uh it was just It was just great, but I'm happy. I am happy to be back too Bradford say there was nothing dread. I wasn't dreading anything I wasn't it was just more like how do I be better at what I can do and I'm really open as I said the other day I'm just open to your opinions on that how do we do this better There are a good jillion podcasters now and every time you put water on when they multiply into 20 others And it's like I want to be better than that There it's as simple as that Bradford says uh just like Hillary tell a liario is leading far ahead in the polls versus Paxon Can the polls be trusted for this anti-capitalist lying racist? So I asked the guys I don't know what the the numbers are so we just checked
So right now according to a new poll by the Texan 44% would vote for Talarico and 43.6 would vote for Paxon 12.6 undecided. I mean Again, I'm not sitting here telling you Paxon is the is the most dynamic candidate He's a little he's a little boring. He's not that engaging He's roughly same guys and if you're in Texas you got to talk to your friends go to Austin Which is the blueest blue part of town and and wake some of these people up this guy will open the borders again You had you heard the stuff earlier in the show about capitalism like Don't let I mean Texas Texas is gonna become purple like is that really where we're at? But don't think it can't happen. I know we all think of Texas as cowboys and oil and all of that stuff But don't forget that a couple years back I always forget the number was a 2.6 Ted Cruz beat Beto or work by I think only 2.6 points Okay, whatever it is. It was under three points and Beto or work was
Completely bananas lefty Nataloreco's worse, but Ted Cruz was certainly better Than Paxon so that's where we're at that is where we're at was I write 2.6? Yes. I was right 2.6 hot damn Dave says welcome back love the recap really love the shoes. I'm a retro re-bock guy But these look like a new replacement. Can you let me know who makes them? So first off do we have a picture of my shoes that I wore I rock the no socks thing Which I don't do on camera that often, but I do when I'm out and about here in Miami You know, it's hot and whatever So those are olikis which are a a Hawaiian brand and I got those in August because In Greece, you know the white shoe thing and wearing linen and clothes that are a little Less fitting a little bit bigger are nice And then I like them so much. I really did love them and they're super comfortable that I've got them now in a couple different In a couple different colors and the cool thing about them is they're designed also for like You know for kind of beach and everything so the back folds in can you believe that it's like a transformer as a shoe
It's optimist shoe body. How about that and and they're just great and they're really comfortable They're a little bit wider also then kind of standard shoes that is not a that is not product placement So I suppose it's product placement, but that that is not a paid sponsorship or anything else But they're they're really great. I dig them and I kind of like the Showing a little ankle you're gonna to give the people what they want done the computer there Carol says did you see the trailer for the new Harry Potter TV series? I did not I assume that that dropped in August, but then the guy said to me Dave Why don't you watch it live on the Rubin report on today's show here we go Before the start of Tim Banquat First years will partake in the sorting ceremony Dringer Hermione hi did you love this mariding? It was summer reading
Weasley Ronald Oi Potter Harry The house we're putting basically decides our entire future So no pressure Oh slither it oh slither it Grief and all Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts Oh Big T-lads how are we feeling Mr. Potter I expect you to work hard Find what's part you've entrased And mix all the fridge Everyone thinks I'm this great wizard like you for But I really know anything
Let's hope you show some talent in the quidditch fridge Potter You certainly not exhibited any in here Family's more than just blood you find your place Oh We found something incredible We can't protect them. I can only prepare them for what I think you'd be laughing behind any door in his place Oh Come on don't you two read Wait, I'm gonna ask a stupid question
But that feels like a prequel because they're all very young But isn't that what happened in the first one that they're going to the school for the first time and all that? Or with it The I understand it's a tv series but it takes so it's the same Oh, so they're just taking the movies and making them into a tv series Yes one season Oh one season is each well that's it okay So well, I should say first off I'm not a huge Harry Potter guy you guys know in the world of fantasy and all that I love robots and future stuff in space that's generally my genre I'm a little less with the little twig and the zing-ing-ing-ing-ing-ing-ing-ing-ing-ing I move the stone look at me But I get it I get it it's a cultural phenomenon and you know I'm a little bit Too old for it in some sense, but like also having kids like we're gonna David loved all the movies and read all of the books two or three times And he's really looking forward to when we can read the books to the kids there You know they're four now so like it's probably a little bit early for the first one is the sorcerer stone Which I guess is what that series is based on that's an interesting idea though
They're calling it the sorcerer stone the first which was the name of the first movie right? Yeah, yeah Maybe you know Book and movie right so that's interesting to me and that to me seems like what star wars Probably should have done and what well they have mucked up everything for 20 years The idea that you could take the movies and then make them into series where you could make everything so much richer and still Largely tell the same story is actually kind of cool So I like the idea of what they're doing there even if it's not exactly My thing, but I will let you know when we start reading them Reading those books to the kids right last night we did peep the cat This cat is cool. He is a cool cat man Kelly says I'm terrified that the cost of gas is going to supersede everything else that is good that everything else good That is happening in the world What are your thoughts on that and how trump could get out in front of the messaging so that people feel better about what is coming And not just focus on today. We're almost at four dollars a gallon in Alabama And I know people are getting tired of it my groceries don't seem to be affected
I believe he has to finish off the Iranian regime. Yeah, well look at the end of the day People generally Vote with their pocketbook. So if they sort of feel good about the economy They're gonna not feel the need to maybe punish who's in power that much In terms of gas prices they are a bit high Everything that I've seen over the last Month or so that I just got caught up on on the war in Iran is kind of a stalemate now trumps joking that maybe it'll be the straight of trump instead of the trade of Formues or there was a video of Scott best in yesterday again talking about how we've you know Decimated so much of their military and everything else But gas prices do seem to be too high. I'm gonna guess my guess would be That Trump will have some tricks in his pocket to get a little liquidity in the economy going and get some prices down before the midterms like Because you're right the average person you might you might just be a Trump person and you're like, you know Prices are I'm just not even gonna vote and again that gets to the apathy thing that I mentioned earlier
But I would say even if gas prices are high and Trump can't do anything about it Or even if he doesn't do whatever he can do about it Just know what we are up against and if you think that the Democrats I know you don't but if if someone out there thinks that if the Democrats taking power that's gonna make gas prices go down Or it's gonna make the world safer or it's gonna be better for America or It's going to wreck all of those things so so again That's why I'm saying we got to get a little crazy like we got there They're really good at scaring people all the time. Maybe we have to scare people a little bit It's not generally like the the arrow that I'm going to but maybe we do have to go there All right one more for you nimbus says what part of the person you were During those 30 days off the grid do you want to protect now that you're back and make sure the internet politics in this job Don't take away from you again. That is a good one nimbus um You know I was Present as I could possibly be all the time
I'm not saying I was present to every second of every moment of the day but I was I wasn't distracted with things. I did not in the quiet moments. I did not have this thing to stare at Um, that breeds a certain calmness like I would look at my ordering at night and my stress levels And I'm I'm not very stressed in general, but my stress levels were really really down It was constantly telling me I was in like that relaxed zone um You know the interactions that I had with people like all of them and I'm not just I'm not just talking about family and friends and everything else Like anyone whether it was a waiter or someone coming up to me at the airport or whatever it was like I was very very present in all those conversations and all those moments and I think we need more of that we did we're all kind of Side-tracked with whatever is going on in the world and it stops your ability to just be here and and In the now and I'm I'm as guilty of that as everybody as anyone else So I think that that's what it is more than else
And also I think one thing that I've thought a lot about and I was really when I was sitting on the beach going through things Is that I was like you guys like I am I'm worried about the state of the world. I don't worry about Small things in life like whatever is going on in my house or businesses like there are ups and downs and things happen here and there And I just don't worry about those things like you have to solve problems every now and again like sometimes you have to literally solve a problem You're you know water heater blew up which happened to us like there are things that happened You might have an interpersonal problem at work or you got a family problem or or someone you know passed away Or whatever it may be like we have but I'm usually not worried about just sort of day-to-day things not to diminish them I'm usually worried about just like the state of human civilization like that's actually what I worry about And one of the things that I was trying to Work through a lot was how can I There's a limit to what I can do about it right like I think we can affect things in a certain way It's why I do this if I didn't think that we could affect things
I just would not do this anymore. I would find something else to do But I want to worry about it a little bit less. So that's that's something that I'm going to continue to work on and think about and I'm Open to all sorts of suggestions on that as I'm on that path I thank you guys for watching. We got a post game show In moments we're going to report dot locals dot com And then I got actual friends later and a whole bunch of other stuff. It's good to be back though. Thank you guys See you
