The Chicago Black Hawk signed forward prospect Sasha Boava to a 3-year entry-level contract

on Monday, March 16.

The deal runs through the 2027-28 season with a cap hit of $974,167.

Drafted 18th overall in the 2024 NHL draft, the 6-foot-3-forward from Quebec brings skill,

scoring, and physical play to the team.

Boisvert built his resume in the USHL with the Muskegon Loverjacks over two seasons.

His standout 2023-24 year included 36 goals and 68 points in 61 games, plus playoff contributions

as an alternate captain.

He then headed to college hockey.

At the University of North Dakota in 2024-25, he scored 18 goals and 32 points in 37 games,

earning.

He transferred to Boston University the next season, seeking a fresh start after a coaching change.

Things got tough at Boston University, with injuries and low production, just 3 goals and 17 points in 26 games.

He also faced a healthy scratch for being late to a team workout, marking his college finale.

Now, 19 and turning 20 on Tuesday, March 17, Boisvert awaited Visa approval to join the Black Hawks for practices and games this week.

Against Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday matchups.

Officials hope his size bolsters the center group alongside smaller stars like Conor Bedard.
