The Columbus Blue Jackets picked up a solid 5-2 win over the Seattle Kraken at home, extending
their point street to 12 games.
Zach Warneski dished out three assists in the first period alone, while Cole Cillinger
tallied a goal into assists and Matthew Olivier added a goal and an assist.
The Blue Jackets have now won four straight during an 8-win, zero loss, four tie run, and
their 19 wins, two losses, and four ties over, their last 25 games.
That victory keeps Columbus one point behind the Pittsburgh Penguins for second in the
Metropolitan Division, while Seattle has dropped three in a row, and seven of their last
nine.
Elvis Merzlikin stopped 15 shots in net, and with the Kraken missing Jared McCann to
a lower body injury, Columbus stays hot heading into the playoff push.
