week one NFL bucks head Bengals on Sunday. We'll get into some of that and some of the conversations we had at one buck place with Yaya Diabi with Jacob Parish. Pretty tall order for them to try to cover a very explosive Cincinnati Bengals team first time out of the box with a lot of new defenders. So that will be on our minds, but Steve, I had to talk to you a little bit about big win for big blue man. You guys just took it to Western Michigan, huh? I don't know about big win, but you know, memorable maybe, but out game game against Oklahoma this weekend looks like, whoa. I'm telling you the USA basketball team that got jobbed in Russia thinks that Michigan may have pulled a fast one. I love the conspiracy theories everything's a conspiracy theory. It has to be right. Look, the big 10 put out a statement put out the video that showed why they ruled it that way. And the Mac and the Western Michigan president were okay with it. Right after the check cleared. Well, the check clear is no matter what, like, you know, with whole payment because you complained about the outcome of the game. Like that's not the way those contracts work.

Like you get paid your 1.5 million no matter what. Just went down a lot easier one of the check clear. Well, you got to admit that I have not seen. And apparently you can get into the fractions of seconds that they had access to, but in football, like I've seen in basketball, right, where they'll run it down and 0.0, whatever. But I've not seen it in football where the scoreboard was not sort of the official clock. Well, so the way I understand it and this I've read so much this weekend and seen so much and, you know, assuming what I saw was true. The way the clocks that are built for the stadiums work is when it becomes, you know, you start at 15 minutes and look at the half. And it got you start counting down one one is like 1459 and a half second. The scoreboard will still show 15 in the the stadium until there is zero point seconds left. Right. Right until it gets down to 1459 and it turns.

The TV trucks and the technology they use to sink to scoreboard and a lot of the times they'll take the video off it and then whatever, but it's synced before 85 minutes before the game. And I said, so it's synced the way those technologies are written is as soon as it becomes 1459.99 seconds, it's showing 1459 on the clock. Not with the stadium shows, even though it's the same time, it depends on how you round it. They're not showing tens or hundreds of a second. They're showing full seconds. And thus became the issue. For instance, the play that was out of the end zone and and and then they thought the game was over, but it wasn't. If you actually count it from the the referee said put nine seconds on the clock. If you start the clock, the soon as the ball was snapped and when the defender who was at a bounce jumped up and touched it, it was 8.37 seconds. It was not a full nine seconds, which means there should have been partial a second left on the game, which means one second on the scoreboard.

But the TV one had already gone to zero. And that's where the discrepancy was that's from what I understand and reading. Call it fair call it what you know, however you want to define it, but the play didn't take nine seconds. So I think they got it right. I think don't know, but everyone seemed okay with it. Was everybody really okay with it? Well, I mean, they hurt and disappointed. What surprised me was like the Western mission. They took it very well. I mean, to say they took it well is an understanding. Their president seemed or whoever was their AD that was up there speaking didn't see that. It's a president. They don't they don't have an AD. He just left a couple of weeks ago. Yeah. It was the president of the university. He had he seemed very like, okay, yeah, no, we get it. It's like nothing to see your time. They asked the big 10. They and the big 10 showed them the video this how they came to that. And that's why he said, okay, you know, they didn't like the outcome and granted.

At the end of the day, if you just stop a Hail Mary, you will still win that game. But if you stop it twice. Well, yeah, you stopped it the first time. Yeah. You know, it's such a low percentage play, but you know, good on Michigan for making it. Michigan's, you know, Western Michigan, you feel bad for those kids because they played their butts off that game. Right. But just, you know, it's. It's crazy that it comes down to technology. And now it's conspiracy theory and this and what really happened. And there's so many people throwing stuff out there. It's hard to tell the memes are hilarious. Oh, well, okay, you're you're big blue all the way through and through. Do you want that win? It's better than a loss. That was not the question. Yeah, I guess you don't throw the wins back, but what did you find out about Michigan? The quarterback sucks. Yeah. Okay. We're in agreement there. The defense was played well. I mean, they gave up four field goals and three of them were on short fields after three turnovers.

Yeah. You know, they gave up the one long drive in the third quarter. Okay. But that was all dinks and dunks. I mean, it wasn't there was no big plays given up. But this is a big five star recruit you got behind the center, right? Yeah, well, you know, he's got all the skills, but man, he can't even look to receiver number two. Never looks off anybody. Like Joel clap put a video out today because he progressed since last year, which I'm like, how do you get worse that's not good. No, I mean, look, Tommy car is going to I think he's going to see snaps this weekend against Oklahoma. He may be the starter by week three or four. I'm wondering if you're brother from another day. I'm wondering if your Vikings quarterback has any eligibility left. You know how these guys are going from the NFL back to college. Can they reverse that? Actually, you know what? I'll take Tommy car. I'll take the young freshman. Let's just go with him this year. Ouch. I like JJ, but let's give Tommy the experience now. I mean, if this season is going to go the way of that first game, like, let's get in the experience. So he's ready for next year. Well, that was supposed to be the experience getting game, right?

You're playing, you're playing Western. That's, did I got another preseason game in there? She can scale that Oklahoma this week. Oh, they're in trouble. Yeah, absolutely. They are. This is not going to go well. I mean, they get you tapped next week, but they got Oklahoma smashed. Is it at the big house? Yes. Oh, wow. Big brands. That's a big brand game. Is that I mean, this week, this week you get a higher state of Texas and Oklahoma at Michigan. I love it. I love those big games. I'm not sure that second one's as big of a game anymore. That's true. It's not, it's not SMU Florida state. As we watched, by the way, SMU of 17 to 10. Is anyone trust the clock in that game since a power outage pushed it back in hour and a half? This is the other thing. What's going on with all the power outages around the world these days? Well, there was an even storm based. This wasn't even storm based. Like, I know. This lost the whole bank of lights. Yeah. Remnants of the halftime Super Bowl show in the Super Dome. I'm actually, and I will say this only because I don't know much about power, but my dad

worked for a company in Florida progress at the time for about 40 years. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. Like, the loads that is then pulled of electricity on those stadiums for that many lights and that much stuff is just incredible. Well, I mean, remember the 16th Street sub station used to have issues at the trial. Oh, yeah. It was routine. Yeah. Yeah. The trial was renowned for that. But usually it was storm based. I mean, usually it was, you know, thunder lightning and then the substation of freak out. And you know what, with those storms, like, it can be almost anything that can knock it out. Like, and sometimes it takes an hour to, you know, to change out whatever the problem is, you get a transformer that blows and people got a wait for it to stop being an electrical storm. They also have rules because they're unionized. And the W that, you know, if you're in the middle of a storm, they're still lightning around and it's raining. They don't go out there because, you know, water and electricity don't mix very well sometimes.

So I'm going to have to wait until the storm passes, which sometimes is the reason for the delay. I'm wondering if S U with all the improvements and enhancements they did if they didn't screw something up in the power wise. And there's probably, yeah, turned everything in the way. Probably the first time they turned all the candles on at once, right? Yeah. And it just went. Well, we're not pulling that. That's a pretty good likelihood that something blue. And it could be something simple too. It doesn't have to be something. Yeah, I mean, it could have been an honest and a certain mistake something. But, you know, you can get little things that turn into big things. But, yep, anyway, they finally got going this game will get over it about. I don't know. We're almost a half time. Well, and the shame is because this is on Monday night. Florida, Florida State has a buy this week. So no big deal. They go play tomorrow or today. But they had the whole nation to themselves. Yeah. But I guess one other game. Well, I'm saying is Florida State this week has a buy. So they could play Tuesday. Who cares? SMU's got to play Saturday. They couldn't wait to play Tuesday and then go try to play Saturday.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. You know, so I mean, you know, had both had a buy coming up this week. Okay, they could have just won't do it tomorrow. We're loving up tomorrow. I'm pretty sure that we're headed with the NFL game on Wednesday that we're just going to have football seven days a week. Sometimes college and pro the same. Yeah, I mean, tonight's the only day out of 11 days that we don't have football. It's stupid. I love football. I don't love it every night. I think I think the sport, especially in the NFL, but the sport is asking in spans to invest too much time. It's just it's a lot, man. You say that, but they're investing it. I know. And if there wasn't an appetite for it, and if Netflix and others didn't want to pay, you know, $250 million for two Christmas Eve games, then the fans are waiting. They're playing the fantasy leagues. Yeah. Oh, I know. I know. It's a gift that keeps giving. But there's got to be a tipping point. You know, there just has to be that something we haven't reached it.

No, we haven't. It's out there. And this, I've said this before in this podcast like me and Rich McKay had this conversation 15, 20 years ago, that was his fear was that we're going to over saturate the product. You know, and you see the stadiums will get smaller and smaller because you'll have to need more and more money to get into one. And it'll be like WWE where you go, film before a live studio audience, you know, because the home experience is so damn good anyway. That do people really care if they're at the game. I guess some do, but only the fat cats will be able to afford it. Be that as it may. We do have national footwear. There's one day from football. I know NFL football. I know. It's crazy. And it's a rematch of the Super Bowl. That is correct. Seattle against New England, which I think New England was fortunate to be in the Super Bowl last year. I think they'll be very fortunate to win this game. I'm not sure how that's going to go.

I guess they've improved their offensive line. We'll see. But yeah, you'll see a pass rush is not going to be as good. Probably not. And then last Kenneth Walker, the third, he's in Kansas City. They lost Kenneth. And I think that New England did some things to afford a five-year offensive line, which was just porous last last time they played. Well, you know, they were busy, you know, meaning up with reporters. Oh, here we go. Rossini reference right there. I do think that, you know, that's been a story. I don't know it's going to continue to be a story. We'll see how the season goes, usually that dictates it or not. But so you get the Wednesday night game. The one that's really funny or weird. I don't know if you saw Kyle Shannon on social media talking about not knowing what day it was. It's hilarious. If you get a chance to see it, look it up. Did you see the fact on Rahim Morris? No. So Rahim Morris. Oh, his birthday, right?

Birthday was September 3rd. That's right. So they left on the night of September 2nd. And they land in Australia on September 4th. Completely didn't have a birthday. He missed his 50th birthday. Never happened. It's so funny, man. But you're saying they're playing on a Wednesday. In fact, they're almost playing on a Friday. Well, no, they're playing on a Thursday here. They're playing Friday there. Friday there. That's right. Yeah, Wednesday is the saddening. Yeah. Thursday night here. Friday night there. I'll tell you, when you cross the date line, it is truly, it is like you are back to the future. Because I've done it one time. The American Bowl after the Bucks won the Super Bowl in 2002. The next preseason. They kicked off the American Bowl series that they used to call in Japan against the New York Jets. And so we all went over there. And it was mostly players from the 2002 team that were still around the course. And new guys like Chris Sims and some others.

But probably was in Japan about five days, I want to say. But man, when you cross the international date line, like truly, I would, it's a great advantage if you're covering something because, you know, over here, it's so early that I actually could watch the game, go to bed, wake up and still have hours before the game. It's a right to write the story. But I never, I think I averaged about four hours asleep a day, which is about what I do now. Only because I couldn't figure I could not get on top of what day and time. And I was trying to like, okay, is, is the wife coming home? Is she waking up? Like, what time is it there? What day is it there? Like it was just completely mind boggling. Never get used to it. Well, it's like the one there was in the Little League World Series, it just happened. One of the Japanese parents were there in Williamsport, flew back home. And then found out their son was going to pitch the next game. So then they hopped on a plane and came right back to Williamsport.

Like, I mean, that's got to be like, what the heck just happened? Wow. Yeah, that's, that is crazy. But we do have real football this week and that'll be something anyway. And then we've got, of course, the Buccaneers playing at Cincinnati at a chance to talk to a couple players today and coach bowls. The good news, if you're a Bucks fan, is that it looks pretty good for a mecca Buka in particular and probably Jalimic Millen as well. Both those guys practice a saw a mecca doing some things that would indicate that he can cut, stop, go. All those things without any perceived problems with his toe. Now it is a toe. So who's to say it doesn't get aggravated or something like that happens. But both him and Jalen were back pretty much everybody was back. I think Rose Boome, the linebacker was back. The only guy that was out was that I saw was Sean Tucker. I'm not exactly sure what his injury is because they don't have to tell anything about injuries until Wednesday.

That'll be the first injury report. So Todd Bulls wouldn't give that up to us on Monday anyway. But yeah, team to get the team healthy. That's the goal is you get to the first game in the regular season and you get everybody that's that can go will go. And I think that's sort of where they're at right now. And you know, then we had a chance to talk a little bit with a couple of players, Jacob Parrish and you know, you had Diabie Parrish. You know, is a real interesting player to me because he's one of those guys is just they and they have a lot of these players. They're just kind of all ball like you don't really know what he does outside of football, but and I don't think it's much. But he has turned into a pretty good player like Todd Bulls really likes this guy to the to the extent that even at 510 192 pounds, which for the bucks is a very smallish corner really in football these days. You know, they're used to the gemel deans and Carlton Davis is long guys like that Zion McCallum.

But this guy has moved outside. He's going to play the corner opposite Zion McCallum and there will be times when he'll come inside and play nickel, which is what he played last year. But then they'll also be using County Scott for that role at times. And so, you know, what a what a first game to go out there and say, yeah, there's your March. And then, you know, I think that's the case. There's T Higgins they got about. I don't know five inches on you. You know, go get him. That's going to be quite the challenge. He's not going to back down from it because that's not who he is, but what a first assignment. He started five games last year. So it's not as if like he hasn't been out there. I think what they'll do though and time at times is move him inside and then you know, mix it up and play Benjamin Morrison out there. He missed most of the training camp and preseason playing the final preseason game with the hamstring and stuff, but he seems to be good to go. So and then of course all of that is predicated on how much pressure you know, they can get on Joe Burl. And I don't know if they've done anything to the offensive line in Cincinnati.

I do know that, you know, when Burl plays, they usually average around 27, 28 points a game when he doesn't it's around 22. So he's worth a lot of points in and of himself. But if you ever want to test a defense and it's particularly your secondary, this would be this would go get those two. Like I don't know that there's a better tandem in the NFL. I mean, I guess Dallas, maybe CD lamb, right? Yeah, George Pickens George Pickens. I mean, I don't know who would be a better. I think I got to believe they have the best tandem. Minnesota has a good one, but I got to believe this is the best tandem of receivers. And not for nothing, but a damn good quarterback. Yes. And you know, appears to be healthy, which has been, you know, his problem throughout his career. Yes. You know, usually when you get him week one, he's the health is he's going to be all season. So exactly right. And I think that he has boldly come out and said because you know, they did some things in the off season, namely on defense.

They got texture Lawrence defense attack, Jonathan Allen. So they're pretty stout in the middle of their defense. I mean, they got a ton of guys on defense. They have. Yeah. And so I think, you know, bucks will not have an easy day. I mean, they're going to try to run the football. They're going to try to, you know, get it out of the baker's hands and things like that. But don't fall too far behind these guys because they'll run away with it. And it's going to be a test for for what's a new defense. Alex, Anzaloni, who by the way was named a captain in his first year here. He, you know, he'll be running a defense with a lot of new pieces. A Sean Robinson and, you know, what Dean Muhammad and, you know, we got Jose a trotter. I was going to say a trotter right next to him. So that's a hell of a tandem. I think it'll be hard to run the ball with Vita Vain, Elijah Canci of Canci is as quick as I think he's going to be. That's a real kind of thunder and lightning piece you got inside there and then you got, yeah, yeah, and then Ruben Bain. I expect to just get off from snap one.

You know, the very what we see him eight snaps in the one preseason game. And I think you got pressure on three of them. But him and yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll be, you know, trying to meet at the quarterback as often as they can with burrow who's who's sneakily elusive, you know, burrow doesn't get enough credit for the athlete that he is. He can escape pressure. He slides around. He's got, you know, great accuracy, obviously, in the strong arms. So he's used to getting hit and way too much. But Cincinnati's not this is not the draw of all the teams on that schedule. That would not be the one I'd want to open up with Cincinnati on the road with that powerful offense. But if you want to test your defense, that's as good a test as you're ever going to get. And they've been looking at Bengals film, you know, since I mean Perry says he's been looking at since they broke into summer, which would have been around the middle of June. That's the only team you can really, you know, drill down on extra until you play him because after that, you got one week to prepare for the next game.

But yeah, I think I think it's going to be a good game. I think I would guess that there'll be some some touchdown scored in that game. And you're going to know what the underover is, but I would bet that these teams will light up the scoreboard a little bit. But Cincinnati notoriously slow starters, the bucks, at least under top bowls have been fast starters. Cincinnati's gone two and three, one and four and two and three in the last three years start. Yes, where as a buck in years of kind of going the other way, five and one last years, a matter of fact, six and two. So it if they can get this one, then we got the, you know, the great grudge match rematch. I don't know what you call it, but Baker may feel going against the Cleveland Browns and the guy who replaced them into Sean Watson, presumably maybe he makes it out a week one. So that'll be something to look forward to, but yeah, so. And I felt it's finally made it. We made it. I'm telling you we made it. And I spent the weekend writing a bunch of stories that I hope you all read on Sunday. It'll be a lot of them.

So do me a favor and get that done. But yeah, I mean, it's. I'm glad it's here. And it doesn't, I would say it goes by fast. I guess actually it does until you get to about late November, you get around the holidays and it starts to crawl in those last four games seem like they take forever. Because you know, you're kind of fighting, but they're important games. You get really close to the, to the postseason and see where guys are going to fall and all that. We'll talk more about this as a week goes on. I don't have a great feel for the NFC South, except that. I think the bucks are still the best overall team. They, I think they definitely have the best quarterback. We saw where two a tongue of a low is going to be the starter for the Atlanta Falcons. I think that's the right choice for now because Michael Pennix really hasn't been healthy to get out there very much yet. And if you did it the other way, that might make less sense, but let two go out there and.

You know, take the bruises and see what he can do early on and then you all got Pennix getting healthier and healthier. He's not going to be the number two quarterback on Sunday, I guess. He's going to be an active, but because it carried three Cooper rush will be the backup former Dallas Cowboys quarterback. So many, you look at him. You know, it price young, I'm still not sure whether it's price that's not very good or just a coaching that he has because Dave can analysis not been a great play caller, even when he was in Tampa. And he's given up the play calling duties. You know, for now, at least. So, yeah. And then, you know, Tyler shock for New Orleans, it really was the most promising of the young quarterbacks. And one of a bunch of games tore down the stretch needed to be Atlanta to get the Bucks and the playoffs couldn't do it. But that seems to be a pretty stable program. The most of the predictions I've seen have the Bucks with the odds on favorites to win the division. They got New Orleans second.

And Carolina third or Atlanta third. No, it was a Carolina. I've seen it both ways. You know, Atlanta. They're last in both ways, but I don't know that Carolina is going to go from first to worst. That seems like a big drop to me. But we shall see. They'll definitely going to knock each other off a lot. And, you know, I don't know how strong the NFC South is. I still say, if you start three and two with this schedule, call it a win. You know, even though you've been prone to mid season slumps. Maybe this year, they do it a little bit different. But Todd Bolts always has his teams ready. That's one one hallmark along with the mid season swoon, but they do start fast. So it passed his prologue. Then they'll come out and start fast again. And we'll just have to see where they go from there. But I'm ready for some football. We're into the we're into the regular schedule now. The box had kind of a bonus practice, if you will. And then they'll come back on Wednesday for the usual walk through practice.

Same with Thursday Friday. You'll be kind of a red zone thing Saturday walk through and then they'll travel to Cincinnati and then play on Sunday at one o'clock. I believe Eastern. That game is in Cincinnati, Ohio. I think I'm going to stay in Cubbington, Kentucky. You ever stayed there, Steve? I'm not stayed there, but I've been there many times. Just cross the river, right? So actually the airport is actually in Kentucky as a matter of fact. I believe it's the only major city in America where the airport is in a different state. Yeah, it's pretty it's pretty wild that way. But yeah, stayed down there many times. And I think there might be a skyline chilly nearby. Got it. Yeah, well, there's always it's like Starbucks and Seattle or Duncan in Boston, like it's around every corner. It's pretty good. I know people some people have gotten on it about it. It's never a good two high. No, it's actually pretty good. I love it. I mean, I'm sure there's better someplace, but to me, you know, well, there's one in clear water and one in liquid ranch. Any time I'm in the air.

Yeah, I haven't I haven't made it to clear water yet or liquid ranch, but I do know they are they are there. So I'll get you some skyline Cincinnati. Got bangles, Bengals football. Joe Burrow should be in another Super Bowl and win one before his time is done. I'll tell you that. The bigger for them, bigger for their coach to I think. I think he's got to get a win some games and of course the biggest thing is just keep him burrow healthy. If you kept him healthy for 18 weeks, he could do some real damage and has before. So yeah, that'll be fun. Raise beginning a series in Atlanta. We'll get to that. But first get on down to Brightling, boutique international plaza mall. They are our sponsors. And you know where the Brightling boutique is. It's the center of the mall second floor. That's where you're going to find it. The Brightling company's been in business selling the best Swiss watches for 140 years. They've been in a plaza now for six years. Now what you want to do is go in and enjoy the customer service. Spend some time in the poor your drink. Let them tell you about their products. They have some of the great watches for men. It's a cronomats. The Navi timers that they're known for. They have women's watches.

Sports watches that are durable. Beautiful. You can choose from a bunch of different colored wristbands. Also elegant watches for your wife or for your girlfriend. And while supplies last right 32 different teams 32 team watches. These are men watches. They are the cronomat watch. They have the the team colors and the face of the watch. The logo inside. They have them in sports watches as well. You got to check them out. They're collectors items. You're going to want one is Brightling boutique international plaza mall. When you go let them know you heard about it here on sports day Tampa Bay. Just put a bow on college football. I didn't know what you thought of the action in the state. Let's start with us up Brian Hartlein his debut. Not the offensive display that maybe you anticipated good. Defensive look at kicking in Raymond James again consistently. Yes, defense look good. Defense look very good. But I don't know I just I guess I my anticipation was offensive coach maybe a lot of points.

But you had to remember they lost my own brown and they lost you know a lot of their offensive firepower that went with Alex Golis to to Auburns is going to take some time but they grind it out of wind against. Not a great was it Florida international team. Yes, I was there. Yep. And great crowd by the way huge numbers. I guess I had a 44,000. Yeah, which is pretty good. A friend of mine. That we both know is daughters go there and I guess I guess the last bus from us up they bus people over from the campus. Yeah, the students. Yeah, it left it like 530 for a 730 game. I think it was 730 game. But regardless, my man 7. There was still 100 or 150 people waiting for the bus that they could no longer get. Oh, when they when they left to go to the stadium. Some folks had to find their own way there, but yeah, good crowd on hand. And you know last season at Raymond James. Yeah, the last one. They took care of business thing. I have to get better and score more points, but the defense played very, very well.

And anytime you get a grammatica kicking a Raymond James man, they all had man. That's a good idea. So we got that Florida gets a win. And I think at this point any win is good. Yeah, it was a good debut for some role. It took care of FA U. Yeah, I think they're they still got a couple weeks till they have a serious competition. Yeah, I believe they got probably one more so called. Yeah, USF will play at army this week. So that's that's going to be difficult. Yeah, to have to take on the triple option there. Always a always a weird type of thing. I'm sure they practice it in the spring knowing it was coming up week two. Florida's got the Campbell this weekend. Campbell. Okay. Yeah. And then they're at Auburn who Alex coalition by Ron Brown took a stop to two point conversion. I buy him brown didn't, but they stopped the two point conversion. Yeah, a little better throw. And of course DJ lag ways a quarterback for Baylor. Yeah. And he actually played pretty well. I thought. Is he did not he outplayed by her brown to be honest with you, but I did too. If he throws that that last pass for the two court version. If he throws it outside.

It's a it's a score and they win the game. He gets guy a little bit to inside and then enabled the defensive back or whoever was covering the tight end. And to get him on the ground just the maybe half yard shy of the pile on so hell of a finish. No doubt about that. And Florida schedule after Campbell they get their ad offer and then their home against Ole Miss and then At Missouri. So it's a tough while stretch there. So Florida is going to add Auburn next. Yes, no after after Campbell. Okay, after the Campbell Campbell's coming to town. Yes. Yeah. Okay. So I got you there. And then of course Florida state. And then you guys were doing this podcast trying to hang in there with always tough SMU beat them last year. That's a conference game too. It's a conference game and I don't. Yeah. Yeah. Mike Norvel. What's the buyout keep checking. Well, I got to pay the power bill first. Well, yeah. Maybe that's why they can't pay it because they're saving seven all for his buyout. But that's not going particularly well. And then LSU just crush Clemson.

LSU destroyed. Did you hear the okay. I've known Lane Kiffin for a minute. I've known his dad may rest in peace even longer. And his dad was excitable. Say at least you know love love money. But when he got going his voice would go up a few. Yeah, I tell you. He just go excited. Lane at halftime. They're up 31 to three. And somebody dropped. I guess a video recording you couldn't see anything but they were they were recording Lane cutting into his players at halftime. Oh my. Well, did you hear his comments at halftime on the halftime interview walking off the field. I did not. So they asked them about the game, you know, whatever. And as he's walking away, he turns back and goes, just imagine if we had pro players. I did hear that. Yeah, up 31 to three. Yeah. Yeah. But then he lit into his own team. He was trying to do it like in a way to get him fired up again. But like it did not land well at least with me.

And I don't want to get dog cussed after we just hung 31 to three on a team and halftime. I'm sorry. You know, this guy calm down big fella. I mean, I know you know you're where ls you were supposed to do this. We're not supposed to ever get up a point. I don't care who we have in the game. You know, but dropping a lot of the f bombs and just do. I know people weren't supposed to run those recorders at halftime in the locker room and whoever did probably going to lose their gig, but somebody got him. He got got it was not at all. Let me just say just to bring the sorority girls in and then I'll take exactly. You're referencing the Alabama stuff when he was there. I used to wonder how did Nick Sabin get rid of him before a national championship game. Well read some of those stories. You'll go. Yeah, I can see why you're out of here. But yeah, so it's going to be interesting, man. I would not surprise me if they won a national championship or two, but never doll with Lane Kiva News still looking at some NFL players. I think you can.

Okay. So again, the race beginning a series at Atlanta. They split in Texas, which for them is a big win. Our long national nightmaris over. I know they blew up. Well, yeah, but the 10 game losing streak of global. I field is over. So that was the big one. Yeah, they got past that. Yeah, and you split, although McClanahan on the club and your on the IL. Yeah, like apparently. I don't know what to make of this elbow tightness usually means Tommy John, but I guess McClanan said he didn't think it was that serious. But he kind of set that before and then. Yeah, I know. I know. Yeah, and then Baker didn't pitch, although apparently he didn't pitch well, but apparently it's illness. Yeah, they said he was sick. So that's that's terrible. At least it's not something physical that way. But. Um, and they've been fortunate because I think the podra is made beating the air and judge is back activated from the IL. He'll be back tonight. The raise have a four game lead with 19 to play. And let me just tell you, it's going to change that baseball team once he gets in the swing of things. It really will. And if you if the race can win one game against the Yankees in their four games set coming up in a couple of weeks.

Then the tie break goes to the race. So it's really like a five game lead at that point. Yeah, yeah. They just got to keep it right where it's at or improve it. But we'll see what they can do in Atlanta. Um, okay. So make sure you know down to Bradley boutique international plaza mall. This we're going to find. The beautiful NFL watches.
