Hello there, are you all snuggled in and ready for a story? Awesome, let's get started.

Our story today is all about a very silly rabbit and a very, very grumpy pirate.

So one beautiful sunny day, a hungry little rabbit named Bugs Bunny, was hopping along near the big blue water,

Boeing, Boeing, Boeing, and guess what he saw? A giant box filled with the most delicious orange crunchy carrots.

He just had to take a bite. Munch, munch, crunch. Ah, they were so yummy.

Bugs 8 and 8 and 8 so many carrots that his little tummy was completely full.

And you know what happens when your tummy is full? You get sleepy.

He gave a great big bunny yacht, curled up into a cozy little ball right there with the carrots and fell sound asleep.

Zzzzzz!

When Bugs Bunny finally woke up, something felt wobbly.

The floor was moving up and down and back and forth. He sniffed the air.

Hmm, it smelled salty, like the ocean. He peaked his little head out of a round window and, wow, he was on a huge boat,

sailing on the big, big water. Can you guess where he is?

A big boat on the ocean. That usually means one thing.

Pirates! Let's see who's in charge of this ship.

Oh! It's a grumpy pirate captain.

Bugs hopped right up onto the big wooden deck, and there he was.

A pirate with a giant, bushy, fiery red moustache.

It was captain Yosemite Sam, and boy did he look grumpy.

But Bugs wasn't scared one bit. He just wiggled his nose and said,

Hey, what's up Doc?

The pirate stomped his boot and shouted in a super loud voice.

What are you doing on my ship?

You see, that grumpy pirate was on a very important trip.

He was following a secret map to find buried treasure.

Bugs told him he didn't care about treasure. He just wanted a ride home.

But to be nice, he offered to help captain Sam sail the ship.

Hmm, captain Sam doesn't seem very nice, does he?

I have a feeling that sneaky pirate is going to try to play some silly tricks on our friend Bugs Bunny.

And he did.

Captain Sam tried to play a trick.

He told Bugs to climb down into a little tiny boat to count all the supplies.

But while Bugs was busy counting, that sneaky pirate pulled out a knife

and started to cut the rope holding the boat.

Snip, snip, snip.

Oh my goodness, that rope is almost cut all the way through.

Do you think the little boat with Bugs Bunny inside is about to fall right into the big splashy ocean?

What's going to happen?

Well guess what happened?

Right when the pirate stepped into the boat to give it a push,

the rope finally snapped.

And splash, silly old Sam fell right into the cold water.

His trick went all wrong.

Captain Sam climbed back onto the ship and he was dripping wet and even grumpier than before.

So, he came up with another silly plan.

This time it involved a big, round, loud cannon.

He told Bugs the cannon was very dirty

and needed a good cleaning way on the inside.

So while Bugs was busy scrubbing,

that sneaky pirate tiptoed over with a little match and ssssss.

He lit the long fuse.

But the cannon didn't go boom!

So silly Sam stuck his head inside to see what was wrong.

And just then our clever rabbit Bugs saw a little switch on the side.

What do you think he did? That's right. He flipped it. Click!

Boom!

The big cannon fired and WUSH!

Silly Sam went flying way, way, way up into the sky just like a rocket.

He soared over the blue ocean and landed with a great big thump right on a sandy island.

And island, that must be the pirate island from the treasure map.

Okay, get ready for the next part of our adventure, the Rumbly volcano treasure hunt.

Oh, would you look at that silly pirate? He's trying to read his map but he's holding it upside down.

He's digging and digging and digging in the wrong spot.

But clever Bugs, he knows exactly where that treasure is hiding.

Bugs didn't dig in the sand at all.

Nope, he climbed up a big tall mountain.

And right at the top, he found a secret cave just filled with shiny, sparkly treasure.

Wow, look at all those gold coins.

But just as he was looking, he heard a funny sound. Rumble, Rumble, Rumble.

Oh no, it was the mountain. It wasn't just a mountain. It was a volcano and it was starting to shake.

Look out, Bugs shouted. The volcano's going to blow.

He ran as fast as his bunny feet could carry him to warn Sam.

But that grumpy pirate wouldn't listen. He just ran straight for the Rumbly mountain.

A rumbling volcano sounds very, very dangerous.

What's going to happen to the pirate and all that shiny treasure?

Let's find out in the very last part of our story called Splash, The Ship Sinks.

The volcano went kaboom. It was a huge giant explosion.

It sent Sam and all the heavy treasure chests flying way up in the air.

They flew and flew and flew until thud. They all landed right back on the deck of the pirate ship.

But all of that gold was so, so heavy.

The big treasure chests crashed right through the bottom of the wooden boat and made big holes.

And the water started rushing in. Glug, glug, glug.

Oh no, the ship was sinking. Save the treasure. Save me!

Yeld the pirate. But what do you think our clever friend Bugs Bunny did?

Did he save the heavy, sinking gold? Nope.

He saw his box of yummy carrots floating by and he pulled them right into his little lifeboat instead.

And so, with all the treasure at the bottom of the deep blue sea,

Bugs and Sam were safe in the little boat.

Bugs just put on his cool sunglasses and relaxed,

munching on a delicious carrot, while grumpy, grumpy Sam had to do all the rowing.

What a silly, silly adventure.
