Detroit got better on the margins by signing Cam Talbot, Erik Gustafsson, Christian Fischer and a flurry of AHL caliber players today, possibly opening the door for the much coveted youth movement. But whiffing on big impact veterans such as Steven Stamkos to compliment said youth could also result on a slide back from their previous season point total, an Yzerman Era first. But at the same time, we are glad he held steadfast on some offers, as the deals handed out on day one were egregious. #LGRW
