Lunatic in the newsroom.

Shining into the warm, barn, chatter duck would wake up, stretch his little wings and say,
1:04
Quack, quack, quack.
1:05
And when it was time for his yummy breakfast out on the pretty green grass,
1:08
what do you think he said?
1:10
Quack, quack, quack.
1:12
And when he went for a happy little swim in the cool splashy pond with his friends,
1:17
a little frog and a butterfly, he would say,
1:19
quack, quack, quack.
1:21
But oh my, maybe, just maybe there was a little too much quack and going on.
1:28
What do you think happens when somebody talks all the time?
1:31
Well, he quacks so much that he even quacked in his sleep.
1:35
And the other ducks, well, they started to feel a bit grumpy.
1:38
They needed some quiet time, you know?
1:40
So they push poor chatter duck right out of their cozy little house.
1:44
Oh, poor little chatter duck.
1:46
Now he was all alone in the big, dark night.
1:49
Look, you can see a little tear rolling right down his cheek.
1:52
He felt so sad and so lonely sitting on that stump with just the sparkly stars
1:57
in a little owl for company.
2:01
When the sun came up the next day, he started quacking all over again.
2:06
And by now, the other ducks were tired of his noise.
2:08
The cat and the dog were tired of his noise.
2:10
Yep, it seemed like all the animals on the whole farm were getting very, very tired of his noise.
2:16
But do you know who wasn't tired of it?
2:19
He was still so happy and he just loved saying his favorite thing to the big gentle cows.
2:24
Quack, quack, quack.
2:26
So all the tired animals got together.
2:28
Shh, they had a little meeting.
2:30
And they came up with a very, very noisy idea.
2:34
And all at once, the whole farm got very loud.
2:39
The cows said, move.
2:41
The horses said, nay, the cat said, meow.
2:45
And the dog said, bark, bark.
2:47
And everybody else joined right in.
2:49
The pigs went squeal.
2:51
The turkey went, gubble, gubble.
2:55
And even the farmer and his wife came out and shouted, boo!
2:59
Wow, what a huge noise they all made.
3:02
It was so loud that everyone from the town came running up to the farm to see what
3:07
in the world was going on.
3:08
But after all that big, big noise came a quiet little quack.
3:13
You see, Chatter duck was finally learning to listen.
3:17
All that noise all at once was just too much for our little Chatter duck.
3:21
It was actually a bit scary for him.
3:23
He ran away and hid his little head inside a big log, just to make everything quiet again.
3:30
After that very noisy day, Chatter duck realized he didn't like loud noises all the time.
3:35
He learned that being quiet can be really, really nice too.
3:39
And so, he never, ever said quack, quack, quack again.
3:45
When he had something that was really important to talk about, like seeing his bowl of yummy food,
3:50
he just said, quack.
3:52
So Chatter duck learned that sometimes it's good to be quiet,
3:56
and sometimes it's good to talk, especially when you have something important to say.
4:00
What do you think is worth talking about?
4:02
That's a nice thing to think about, isn't it?
4:05
Goodbye, little friends.
