We got two rounds of the Moist line next hour. Spent some time last time talking about how the CIA knew and warned. The George Bush personally and his administration several times.

1:00I mean, what his administration was the head of the CIA was the CIA director and his cabinet would go into Bush's office and the national security advisor Condoleezza Rice and say, Hey, I'll take his going to blow things up here. I'll Kate is going to kill Americans. They're going to hit us hard and Bush and his team had no reaction. They just shrugged. There was even one memo that said the plane is going to fly into a building. A plane is going to fly into a building. Trump has released some of the intelligence files just today and a lot of this was known already. They did a fairly comprehensive report back in 2004 about intelligence agencies getting warned about al Qaeda. But have a Bush administration just didn't seem to understand. Maybe there's a reason they didn't understand. I'll get to that.

2:00This is new. I hadn't seen tucked at the end of a September 10th, 1998 intelligence report that was sent to Bill Clinton. Was a warning from a CIA analyst. He wrote to the Clinton people. Al Qaeda may fly an explosive packed air fly air. Al Qaeda may fly an explosive packed airplane into a US city. This is September 10th, 1998, three years and a day before the attack. They have released now today, 69 never before seen presidential intelligence briefs. And again, going back to a clip we played where Ken said he was watching ABC that morning and a CIA official went on TV and said, all this caught us completely by surprise. This was out of the blue. If their lips are moving, they're lying.

3:04Now one woman who's gone through 25 years of suffering and she's not putting up with it anymore. And this I think was the reason that the Bush people didn't take action. 15 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. Bitten Laden was was actually from a wealthy family. He had strong ties to the Saudi Arabian government. And the Saudi government had something to do with financing this, planning it. But nobody ever wants to piss off the Saudis in our government. And it's money. It's oil. It's the strategic importance in the Middle East. You want to keep them as half an ally. But it's about money in oil. And the Bushes were very much in bed with the Saudi leaders for a long time. So George W isn't going to do anything to upset his dad's relationships.

4:09So that's why when they heard Bitten Laden might attack, well, they know Bitten Laden means Saudi Arabia. And so they're not going to do anything about it. When it does happen, they'll just say, Oh, blindsided us. Uh, it was out of the blue. And then what did they do? They blame to rock and Bush got reelected. You remember a rock, the Saddam Hussein and the weapons of mass destruction totally made up. What do you think to get the attention off Saudi Arabia? The truth is they were warned for months. They did nothing. They really botched it badly. Too lazy, too stupid, too compromised. That was the Bush administration's reaction. And then after the fact as more information came out about Saudi Arabia's role, they just didn't address it, covered it up.

5:11So listen to Terry strata, the widow of 9-11 victim Tom strata. And my husband stopped. She does this in front of Clinton, Bush, Obama and Biden. And my husband, Tom strata, you are missed more with each year that passes. But how can it be 25 years? And still, we have no justice for the role that Saudi Arabia played in your murder. Yes, we finally made it into a court. And I proved that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia fomented a rancid culture of anti-American terrorism around the globe. And then sent its agents to support the radical Islamist hijackers. So they could attack you and all of our loved ones. But for 25 years, administration, after administration, including leaders in front of us here today, chose to protect the Saudis instead of standing with the 9-11 family.

6:21They would held evidence. They vetoed Jostle. They wrote promises both public and private. It has been one betrayal after another. President Trump can still change that. Tell the Saudis to stop lying. Tell them that if they want to be friends with the USA, they cannot continue to deny all of this, all of the pain, all of the destruction that we have all been suffering through. Vice President France, thank you for being here today. Please carry that message back. Stand with the families. Stand with the survivors. Stand with Americans. As my husband, Tom would have said, that is always the right thing to do. God bless all of us. God bless America. It's right in the middle of the ceremony where they were reading the nearly 3,000 names of those who died in the attack. And she was the only one who did that. And it's all true what she says. Everything I've been telling you for the last hour and 15 minutes, all true.

7:23We're really good at ceremony. We're really good at anniversaries and remembrances and patriotic ra ra nonsense. This country sucks what it comes to getting the truth or paying attention to the truth or getting some retribution for the truth and punishing the politicians involved. And having the media focus on going after the politicians who are involved because this. You know, I kind of understood. I didn't understand this for a long time. And I'm not in this camp at all. You know, those who say 9-11 was an inside job. Those people are insane. But I do understand the sentiment that stuff goes on and our presidential, our presidents don't do anything to stop it necessarily. And they can create a distraction easily.

8:24And the distraction eventually was a rock and Colin Powell coming out. And remember, they had photographs and they had a graphics to to set to prove where the bet weapons amassed destruction were all their intelligence sources. And it was it was all hoax. It was all funny. Well, that was what seven years of that war. And then Afghanistan went on for 20 and the other presidents, they come in. They pick right up with it. Nobody ever ends anything. Iraq went on under Obama and Afghanistan went on under Obama and Biden. Trump was in the mix too. And still to this day, including Trump, nobody will tell the truth about Saudi Arabia. But she did. She's the only one who stood up there. Well, talk more about this. Got a couple more clips to play too. And a couple of other news stories that have to be heard. 9:37KFI AM640 live everywhere on the I heart radio app. John Cobalt show. I'm just looking up because I am remembering things now. The, sorry, there's 9.11 is when obviously the, the attack happened. But what was going on all that summer? You remember the joke that the only guy in America who is happy about the 9.11 attack was Gary Condon. Because that knocked Gary Codds off the front page. Because this happened about the same week. Robert Blake kills his wife. And Gary Condon's intern, Shandra Levy disappears. And then her dead body is found. And Condon was having a fair with Shandra Levy. And everybody to this day thinks that he killed her. Was never proven. He was never charged. They, they actually imprisoned another guy at a legal alien from Guatemala.

10:38And then they let him out turned out they got the wrong guy. But every single day was Condon and Blake. And I remember Ken and I went up to Blake's house. Well, over to Blake's house in studio city. And then we went to Gary Condon's office. And I nearly got arrested because we barged in into their office and they called the police on us. I ended up getting detained, not officially arrested. But that was that, that was that summer's. News activity. And then the planes hit the World Trade Center and nobody ever discussed Gary Condon ever again. Blake had to come back because the trial happened and he got off. That was another like bad stupid jury. It's amazing. The stuff we're asked to believe in. We're asked to believe in presidents. We're asked to believe in the CIA. We're asked to believe in the justice system.

11:40And we keep getting hit with the truth and then we go back to believing. I'm going to play more clips of our broadcast from that day after the five o'clock hour. There are a few stories I want to get to while I got I got some time here. And one of them is on our stupid, busted justice system, the jury system. And it's the Lindsey Clancy thing because we have another interview with a Lindsey Clancy juror. And her name is Paula Devlin. And Paula Devlin went on CBS this morning with Gail King. Familiar with Gail King. A lot of people aren't because hardly any of it watches CBS this morning, but she's anchored there for years. She's Oprah's best friend. She's also a black woman, which is important when I play you this clip. Because she gets

12:42the juror Paula Devlin to describe the whole doubt juror. The only one who thought that Lindsey Clancy was guilty of murder because she strangled her three kids to death with an exercise band. And everybody's wondered, well, who is this? We know it was a guy, but we didn't know the circumstances. And you want to hear an amazing moment, which reveals what Gail King is about. Listen to Lindsey Clancy and Gail King describing this whole that juror. I'm curious about their jurors themselves because we know it was nine women, three men. What was the age range? What was the racial makeup? I haven't heard any of that. What was it? 70 in 70 ish to 22. And one person of color and then everybody else was white. A lot of the jurors had children.

13:42Uh-huh. And one person of color was a person of color, a woman or a man. A man. A man is a holdout juror, a person, a black man. Yes. A black man is a holdout juror. Yes. Well, I have to sit with that for just a second. Was there. Was there any specific evidence that swayed you or and I'm very curious about the evidence that he was opposed to? Let's talk about the evidence. You have to see this video because when Gail King was told it was a black man, she stopped dead and said, well, I. She could speak for a second, obviously. And then she tries to start up again and she shakes her head. Now, why was that so shocking to her? Why why did that stun her into silence?

14:42Why did she assume that if there was a black person, and by the way, they were just there. So do you know anybody in your life who uses the freight person of color? There is nobody I know has ever used that phrase. They say. He's a black guy. It's a black woman. She's a black woman. They're Asian or Hispanic. They're this. They're whatever it is. But this person of color thing is such a bizarre phrase. And media people feel compelled to use it. I guess it's part of the woke training they get. Except there was some kind of panic settling in with Gail King. It's what it was a black man who who thought she was guilty. Well, how could that be? Why didn't he go along? Why didn't he go along with all the white women? Play that last part again. Well, I have to sit with that for just a second. Was there.

15:43She shakes her head here. Was there any specific evidence that you could stop because I have to sit with that. I say, okay, you're sitting with it that the black man was the whole day. Why does that matter? Why would you expect a black guy to go along with with letting a murderer go free? Why was that the expectation that Gail King had that? Oh, the black guy, well, he's got to go along with with letting her free. And she was shaking her head like she was trying to get the thought out of out of her mind. Like she couldn't, she couldn't handle it. Really, one of the strangest things I've seen. More coming up. You're listening to John Kobels on demand from KFI AM640. 16:44Listen to the podcast. John Kobels show on demand. We spent the first hour remembering what was going on here at KFI. The 9-11 in 2001 and we played clips from the show. Can and I was doing that day for six hours after the plane's hit. Handle was on when the planes hit the buildings and he was on for six hours. Then we came on. I've got some more clips to play next hour right after five o'clock. So if you want to hear some other snippets from that from that day, that's when we'll give it to you. This is a big victory and I almost missed this. I, I, this is really wonderful. Do you remember earlier this year there was a big scandal because the parole board who are just total vegetables let they parole David Allen Funston who hadn't had sexually attacked, raped, a number of little children.

17:48And also they let go a similar psychonin Gregory Vogelsang. Now Vogelsang was sentenced to more than 350 years in prison. And the parole commissioners gave parole. Same thing with David Allen Funston. He had three life sentences plus because of elderly parole. Elderly parole is what you probably didn't know this, but age 50 is considered elderly by the LA prison by the California prison system. And if you've spent 20 years in the system, 20 years, you're 50 years old, you're elderly. It doesn't matter how many life sentences or how many hundreds of years or how many children you raped.

18:52Two of the commissioners who spearheaded the release of Vogelsang and Funston were kicked off the parole board. Yeah, this story just came out today. Patricia Cassidy and Tiel Cozell. Cassidy had been on the board for nine years. Cozell, three years. Cassidy had approved for release David Funston. And Cozell had approved Gregory Vogelsang. No, I think they both approved both of them to be released. It's a strange way it's written. So Patricia Cassidy, Tiel Cozell had released two child rapists. Funston and Vogelsang. Both of them were serving life sentences plus hundreds of years.

19:53And if you remember in the Funston case, he actually explained to these commissioners that he still has urges, sexual urges towards little girls, but he knows how to control it. He splashes his face with water. I'm not making it up. That's what he actually told Cassidy and Cozell and they bought it. They said, okay, all right, so you go to the sink, you run the cold water, you splash your face, and now you don't want to run across the street and rape the eight year old. Who's your neighbor? Yeah, swear to God, you can look it up. I mean, we read back back in June. So there was so much outcry. There was so much anger against this. I mean, there's nothing worse than this. Nothing, nothing worse. This is where if they're going to keep this up, there has to be some major action taken by the public.

20:54The few people who are awake still. And the Senate president Monique Lebon, who's chairman, chairman of the Senate Rules Committee, she finally caved in to the heat and decided because they were up for renomination decided to retire. Cassidy and Cozell, their appointments were shelved as the way they put it. Cassidy has retired now off the commission. Cozell has gone through her old job as a senior psychologist, a supervisor with the parole board. So she's the senior psychologist supervisor for the parole board when they look at the mental patient records of these compulsive child rapists. She had to be kicked out of government entirely. Cassidy was working with the agency for 31 years. Jerry Brown appointed her originally. She got reappointed by Newsom. Cozell was in prison psychology for 16 years.

21:56She was reappointed by Newsom as well. These are crazy people. These people ought to be in jail. Again, it's women. Why would women were released two guys who brutalized young boys and girls? Do they have the slightest maternal instinct left inside their bodies? I mean, you talk about compassion. Let me remind you what these two vicious sexual monsters did. David Funston would approach children outside their homes in the suburbs of Sacramento and used candy and toys to lure them into his car. And he used a Barbie doll to lure one girl into his car. Then took her to a house, bathed with her.

22:59So he got naked and bathed with this little girl, put her on a bed, held a knife to her throat, and threatened to kill her if she told her family, and then performed multiple sex acts on her. That's just one of the cases. He has a number of them. Patricia Cassidy and Teal Cozell said, yeah, let him go. He's going to splash his face with cold water. He'll be fine. He's once sick individual said the victim, who's now a grown woman. What if he gets out and tries to find his old victims and wants to kill us? They had DNA evidence. This is a case that the former Sacramento DA and Marie Schubert prosecuted and won. Now the other guy Vogel saying, he, um, he has parole rescinded at the end of June. I missed this one. I think we were on vacation then.

23:59But he had been paroled by Cassidy and Cozell. Over a three year period from 1995 to 97, he molested six boys between the ages of five and 11. So, Thunston went after little girls, Vogel sang, went after little boys. And he also acknowledged that he remained primarily sexually attracted to boys between the ages of five and 11. The way Thunston had said, yeah, I'm still attracted to young girls. So, they both went before the parole board and said clearly, yes, I still want them badly sexually. And Cassidy and Cozell let them go anyway. And finally, the roof came down on the asses in the legislature. And so they've ended their appointments. I, why does it have to be such a vicious fight for people who openly rape children?

25:06They don't deny it. They say they want to do more of it. What's wrong with them in Sacramento? The Sacramento legislature is filled with the biggest, biggest bunch of sexual perverts that you'll ever see. But they're not covered. Who was it yesterday? We were talking to him. He said there's like maybe two reporters that cover Sacramento. One of our guests said that yesterday. And it's true. It's actually Zavala channel three Julie Watts with CBS up there. And then Katie Grimes from California Globe and that's about it. That's about it for people covering the California. None of them. None of them based here in Los Angeles. None of them at all. I would guess that if you did a survey of most of the reporters, editors, producers, writers in the TV news departments here, they could not find Sacramento on a map. They probably think it's an Idaho.

Oh, just to follow up, I was telling about David Funston and Gregory Vogel saying getting released by the parole board and neither one of them is free. They reversed the Vogel saying situation.

27:09Funston ended up getting re-arrested for another child molestation charge that he was never tried for from years ago. So they are not out, but, but because of all the pressure came coming from like John Cobalt audience members Patricia Cassidy and Tiel Cozell no longer on the board. And they were the two commissioners that voted to release Funston and Vogel saying it was Patricia Cassidy and Tiel Cozell and the Senate president decided to end their term. So you had an effect. I know a lot of people called or wrote were, you know, made it clear in some way how you felt about this nonsense. Just a quick follow up. Remember that the Cassidy and Cozell, the commissioners had this information about to read to you transcripts from the hearing. When David Funston was pleading his case, he was the one who went after girls, young girls.

28:11I, I, eight years old showed that as recently as 2021, Funston was pleasureing himself to children in prison. That's what he was thinking about. He said he had a lapse. He had fantasies about children, including an eight year old girl who lived across the street from him and played with his daughter. So this must have been a memory from the 1990s that he had. And he couldn't get the girl out of his mind. So he'd sit there in prison and we get the idea. I wasn't going to act it out. I hope not. He went to a mental health counselor and he developed the urge control plan that he's been practicing every day since. So every day he was getting these urges and he was splashing himself with water. And he said he's still attracted to female children. And he told these, these two idiot women on the pro board.

29:12And they let him go anyway. Patricia Cassidy and Tiel Cozell. I, I just, I can't get over that. He also admitted that he molested a boy once because of a desire for power and control. And he said the boy was vulnerable and available. He said, Peter Philly is a lifelong condition. There's always a possibility. I'll relax relapse. I know it's not inevitable. I know it's important to me to continue to build on my recovery. And then he went into the urge control plan. And let the panel Cassidy and Cozell said, now it's okay. He can go. He can go out. Just so so ridiculous. And one quickie lineage that had their cold storage warehouse. They're they burned down 85 million pounds of rotting food. You know that story and boil heights has made boil heights uninhabitable for months.

30:18They are now suing atless power, which was installing or maintaining solar panels on the warehouse roof. And they said out this power is responsible. Not they're saying we the lineage company not responsible. They're fault. They're suing. All right, we come back. We got some clips to play from 9 11.
