You're welcome. Thank you. That doesn't even sound like money. Makes the same noise. If I was directing a film about counting money and the fully guy turned that in, I'd be like, you need to re-record that. That's a fun. Can I be honest? That's one of the funniest things to be about movie sound effects. Yeah. Is that if you record the actual sound of that thing, it doesn't sound right. It's like a punch. Like when you hear a punch in real life, it just sounds like bone hitting like a fist. And I was like, clap. Let me do it harder so you can hear it. It doesn't make a fun. I'm a punch myself as hard as I can. But like the sound thing that I noticed, I watched through the porn movies again recently. Yeah.

1:00And I remember watching like behind the scene stuff about how they filmed their fight scenes. Cause it a lot of like new stuff when they were doing those and they were like, changed. I feel like a lot of the way the fight scenes were filmed. But that was the one thing in the first born film, like the sound effect for the punches. It was like, ooh, that's still like the 90s version of the sound effect from punching. It was like that very cinematic of like, you know, like it almost like a p sound hit. Yeah. They like progress like the sound changed when you watch the movies back to back. Yeah. Like that. Well, any of the Jones they used the could was supposed to be over the top and any of Jones, like supposed to sound like old cereal, you know, but I don't like old cereals because the milk's always warm. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Anyway, cereals like the television. Anyway, it's supposed to be like the movie cereals back in the day. And but they would they laid out like a big pile of leather jackets and hit it with a bat. Oh, that's how they did the sound. And then same with like his pistol is like a shotgun blast. Yeah. And so it's interesting when you watch a movie and it's like a punch like yeah or that where it's the edge,

2:04the gun and it's like, yeah, that's like it's the video where it's John Wick with realistic silencers and you hear what it would actually sound like. Right. It's just funny. And then when you did the paper in front of the mic, I was like, if you told me that's counting money, I think it sounds like you're literally ripping one into the microphone. Send it back. We don't like this one, you know. Anyway, anyway, speaking of movies, there's actually a you and I have been talking a lot lately about how YouTube has very much become completely synonymous with just like releasing on TV, you know. Maybe actually can be more successful at times because of just the amount of users. Yeah. And there is a story that caught my attention just the other day because I watched the trailer for this and it actually looked funny. It was a Christian comedy series. You know, like I always enjoy I was going to say, okay. You know, they actually made a Christian action series very similar to the born identity.

3:06It was called the born again. Yeah, the born again identity. And what's funny is I was going to make that joke totally to interrupt you earlier, but I didn't because I was holding back, but I found a way to come back to it. Wow, I'm so glad. Just like the product will sun. I had no idea that you were going to say that as I said it in unison with you. Anyway, the born again identity. You need to remember who you are in Christ. You know, it's like, who am I? Remember who you are. And then casting us. We should film this. I feel like this would be a very niche sketch comedy clip that nobody would like. Anyway, there was a series called The Promised Land that was created by a team of Christian filmmakers. And it's very much like the office, but it's the Jews wandering in the wilderness. I feel like whenever you say Jews, you have to talk real quick because there's so many people saying crazy stuff. And I don't want to like pause and someone be like, what's going to say people of Jewish descent?

4:07Right. The true. I'm going to stop. And we're just going to say it was about the people, the Jews and the Bible. And the Promised Land wander around in the desert. And I'll show you the trailer really quick. I don't know if you've seen this like being released on YouTube. So what happened is they released their first season on YouTube. And they just got distribution for a network. Nice. But yeah, let me find it real cool. But I remember watching the trailer and just going like, hey, this is actually funny because here's the thing. I don't want a lot of like Christians in them, but also I like when stuff is quality across the board. Exactly. And they're just the reason I don't watch Christian movies is because they usually suck. Right. I like the movie itself. Yes. Like it. It's not about. Yeah. It's like terrible act for the people who hold those beliefs suck. And I don't know. But it's like bad writing. It's not filmed well. Yeah. It's a budget. But like passionate. The crisis back in theaters this month. I'm going to go watch it because I think that's a very well done movie.

5:07Have you ever seen it? Why is it back in theaters like an anniversary? Something because the new ones coming out. Oh, they make you do. Where do you go from there? No. So see see Travis after after he died. He came back. There's another story after that. Yes, there's more. I think it's going to be more about like. I don't remember. It's more like about the apostles, I think. No, interesting. But they recast Jesus. I don't know. I'm not looking forward to that. And also Mel Gibson seems like even more. And eventually, it's not the point. The point is that is a really great movie. Yeah, yeah. If you haven't seen it, you should. It is actually great. It's coming back to theaters soon. But most of it's just not good. Yeah. It's like fireproof. It's like you watch clips. You're like, I could a giant. I could not confuse this for real movie. Right. This is an interesting kind of rep. I'm going to be honest. I actually never watched it. They showed a clip from that at my graduation. Oh, okay. One more. That's one more. It's just like in life. You got to sometimes you got to just push a little hard.

6:08Anyway, this is a trailer for the Promised Land series. It's actually, I think it's actually pretty good. And again, this is just a group of people made this put on YouTube. A word from the Lord. You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians and how I bore you on Eagles wings and brought you to myself. I don't remember any Eagles. My feet are bleeding. Just no. When God called me from the Birmingham bush, I said yes right away. Okay. Maybe not right away, but eventually I did say yes. The big discreet. All of these people, they all look to you for leadership. That's right. But speaking has always been my strong suit. I said, Promised, you say land. When I spoke to Pharaoh, I must be half a wimply too well. Besides the place. I need some advice from me. No, Miriam, from the Lord.

7:08The baby and my mother pushed down a river. I became a political revolutionary. I have spoken. So now I get to take notes while the men are talking. What inspiration for women everywhere? To touch me, please. I have the renewed covenant and the new laws for us to follow. Why did God choose me? It is easy to be popular. It is harder to lead. I have sinned, but God chose me anyway. It's not about being worthy. It's about being faithful to Him. What a wonderful day! Something feels different in a good way. So that's that. Nice. And I was like, oh, it actually looks like a pretty good. Looks way better than the stuff that we... Yeah, yeah. Okay. What kind of traction did they get on YouTube to be able to network?

8:10430K subs to their channel. Wow. And their pilot season? Their pilot has 4.5 million views. Good for them. That's awesome. Usually pilot in any biblical context is not great. Good one. They're like, hey, we're working on a pilot. I hope this one's better than last. He didn't work out well for us. No, all their episodes got pretty close to a million views. I mean, but I think again, this is a talk about a niche, like faith-based media, where you don't need to do much to stand out from the slop that like the God's not dead. Like if I showed you a God's not dead trailer, we could have a good laugh about a lot of those clips. And those do well. But it's like, there's people thirsty for like good content that's in this environment and realm. And anyway, so there's the show to really well garnered 11 million views on YouTube overall. And Lionsgate actually signed on as a global distribution partner and their filming season two in Maraka. So and I think that was all the actual little snippy clip pieces there.

9:13But it says promise land series is already working on second season Maraka. And it's getting a major Hollywood boost along the way, which I it is funny because I know that world enough to know that some people were like, oh man. Now they're in Hollywood. They're not going to be the same. Lionsgate sent on as the official global distribution partner for the series. Our wandering is over the show announced on Instagram. Lionsgate is the official global distribution partner. And season two is in the works. And then relevant magazine said it's a pretty significant leap for a deeply specific comedy that started outside the traditional Hollywood system. Created by writer director, Mitch Hudson, the promise land mixes the book of Exodus with the office. Moses is essentially a reluctant middle manager tasked with leading an increasingly difficult group of people through the wilderness, complete with documentary interviews, awkward interpersonal drama and plenty of looks directly into the camera. The first season follows Moses, Miriam, Aaron and Joshua and the Israelites through physical or through familiar biblical territory. Amaze I read familiar as physical is amazing that I did that familiar,

10:14biblical territory, including Mount Sinai, the golden calf and the construction of the tabernacle. Hudson's crew also included veterans of the chosen, though the finished product is playing in a very different lane. Season one is completely available for free on YouTube now. So and get this. Don't wait 40 years to catch up. You know the writer took a lunch break, right? I'm out. Guys, the relevant offices like in step out now, but I thought it was a really cool story. And I was like, it was cool to me because like in the same year we're seeing like the Curry Barkers go, I could drop this on YouTube. And then it and really did his first film, dropped on YouTube, which I should watch. You know, it's cool to see more series kind of taking that route. It's like, let's spend the money and not feel like we're failing by throwing this on platform. Right. Like it could very well be a stepping stone into something really cool. So, yep, the very. Pretty me is lower than it's ever been, which is cool. Yeah, it just allows for that type of creativity to like rise to the top. Well, you know, and I always say like the secret is you need to be so good, they can't ignore you.

11:16That's like a quote that I've always thought about. But it does apply here, though. It does apply. Where you have to be that good. That's your thing. Well, it's technically Steve Martin's thing. Yeah, but you claimed it. It's now mine. Yeah, the idea that you can just execute against an idea that you have and it can actually turn into something real now. Because like before it was, it was like, you know, look down on it. Right. Oh, yo, you're releasing on YouTube. You know what I mean? But then it's sort of like the self published author space. It's like, yeah, but then David Goggins does a self published book that gets it becomes a, you know, multiple time New York times. Best seller sells millions of copies. It's like, well, he's because his audience is directly related to like they're directly interested in him. Yeah. And he built that online without anybody giving him permission to do so. And it's cool to see that there's a bunch for the creators. And in a lot of ways, I feel like obsession broke that seal. Yeah. Because of how well it did. And now all those actors are getting gigs on other movies and films and TV shows.

12:20And he's and Curry's getting more director roles and, you know, like I just, I love, I love that the walls are getting broken down. Yeah. And so I feel like it's only good for, for the most creative people in the space. Because the walls came tumbling down. I like the walls of Jericho. But yeah, it's overall that's that's awesome. Good for them. Good for Mitch. People in Jericho. I don't know. I don't battle with you. I did say that one time. And I don't think the person got it. But oh, I think I think it was Tara, but I was walking around our apartment on the phone. And I said, if I walk around one more time, this whole place can come crumbling down. And she, she, I don't think she responded. Yeah. I don't know if it wasn't. I think she was tired. It wasn't funny. It's going to be okay. I honestly, all I can do about now is the born again identity. Yeah. Dude, I guarantee you that was a sermon series. Oh, wait, at least one.

13:22There's probably a thousand of them. The born, everyone's talking about the born identity sermon series. I need to get focused on the born again identity. Who am I? Who am I? In Christ. Oh, brother, I got to read this. Oh my God. Can I read this to you? Wait, real quick. Before you do did did say anything about the budget for their first season. Oh, let me look. I probably, I would guess like a milley. You think so? Yeah, budget for the promise. Because it looks like it's well made. Yeah, but they're also the locations, the desert, even well, but they have a bunch of like VFX. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which is not cheap. It has the first budget had a, the first season had a budget of five million. Wow. So, I wonder if that's so funded or if they raise money for that. You know, a call? That would be a good, I would do. Actually, we should see if we can talk to somebody about it. Yeah. The pilot budget was 125,000. Okay. That's what I figured. I feel like 10 episodes. I don't know how many episodes they did. But I assumed it was going to be. Okay. I fear to be like 125,000 episodes.

14:23That's what you figured. I fear to it would be about 100,000 something thousand episode and like 20 episodes, but that would be a million, not five million. What did I say? The like the remainder of the season clearly cost a lot. No, I know. I thought it was going to be like a million for all the episodes. Oh, I thought it was going to be a lot of people just agreeing to do it. I see. Don't make me question my mouth because I'm very fragile. I don't know. All right. Here we go. The born identity. Anna's was preaching 2021, which is so funny because that's like so far past that being a very relevant series to recent one. The key to living God's best is to first, the first sentence, bro. The key to living God's best is to first believing God's best. That didn't even include all the words. The key to living God's best is to first believing God's best. You got to be kidding me, man. The born identity is a movie. I'm afraid. Well, I'm trying to do something here. OK. Hold on. I get a lick it. Let me, uh, let me put this soft hair.

The key to living God's best is to first believing God's best. The born identity is a movie about a CIA agent who woke up after a failed mission. He found that he had a lot of fighting and surviving skills, but he suffered amnesia and forgot who he was. He was struggling to find his identity. Our view of God shapes the whole course of our lives. Our views toward ourselves also shapes the course of our lives. As a pastor, I can see that many roots of problems lay in identity crisis. Yes, we are a product of our past, but I also believe that we should not live in or be controlled by our past. If we don't understand what our true identity is, we tend to make unwise decisions. Yet we would probably be too afraid to take any decisions.

16:27I don't know. How do you write this? Let our identity in Christ be the driving force in every choice we make. We're so precious that Jesus died on the cross for us. Our ushers are coming right now with a card. And if you could just fill that out, we don't want to sell you anything. We don't want to we don't want to bombard you with calls.
