College Football Week 1 Reaction Show (Ep. 3162)

About this episode

The College Football Experience (@TCEonSGPN) on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network continues its 2026 season coverage with a full college football Week 1 reaction show. Pick Dundee aka (@TheColbyD) and Rob Donaldson (@RobDFB) break down the wild Western Michigan vs Michigan finish and the clock call everybody is screaming about, LSU burying Clemson in Death Valley, Boise State pushing Oregon to the wire, Auburn surviving Baylor 17-16, and the FCS chaos that saw Idaho State stun Utah State and Tarleton State take down Bowling Green.

Was Western Michigan robbed by the worst call in college football history? Is LSU for real after blowing out Clemson? Should Baylor have gone for two? Is Tulsa the sleeper in the American after smacking Oklahoma State? Are you buying the Rhule-aid after Nebraska handled Ohio? Can New Mexico still crash the Mountain West party with Luke Moga under center? We talk it all and more on this episode of The College Football Experience.

We bullshit, but we ain't going to give you bullshit like you saw tonight. YouTube.com slash the college experience wasn't even going to do a reaction. It was going to weigh a figure, you know, you know, our Molly line Mac was on once. I was like, you know, I would probably best do one in the morning. No, no, no, no, audible on the field here with the, you know, just debauchery going on in college football. This is our reaction show. And if you're wondering who the hell you're listening to, that is fair. My name is Colby Swigget database data K.A. Pick Don D. That's not a pick. This is a pick. It's picked Don D. Welcome to the land under it.

And I am joined by my co-host who it's been a minute since he's been on the show. He was doing our DFS show. You jumped on some college basketball shows with me. You know what, you know, he's like anytime you're in a jam, you know what I mean? You just, right? He just, it's like the matrix when he just calls into that shit, teach me how to fly a helicopter. Right? Like, that's the way this guy, look, I knew I was like my, my line Mac is that mountain mamas are Billy raised tacos, police shit faced arrested right now. I didn't want to talk about it. So dub V looked like shit in the second half. So we get a true pro here. You've heard him on V.S. and you've heard him on, you know, shit, I feel like every single platform that I normally do, ladies and gentlemen, give me the great Rob Donaldson. How are you brother? Good to see you. Hey, man. Yeah. Thank you for having me on. And honestly, like, I'm not a fan of a lot of shows. I don't want a lot of shows, but I don't watch a lot of shows when I'm not on those shows.

This is the one that I actually do watch. So I am, I'm kind of the rigger for this thing. Like, hey, bring me in coach. I'm ready to go. I mean, you're always good vibes, bro. That's what I love about you, man. It's like in Vegas, we cash on this parlay that I'm still just, you know, I remember we were there, March, man, this you're just good vibes. You came in on a parlay, you said, I'm going in with you, John D. We hit. And then I'm like, dialets, it's always good vibes, man. And he's always there and when you need a pinch hitter, he's going to hit the fucking grand slam out the park. It's good to see you, pal. And the chat is going crazy. We got a GBA of farms. $10. Gonna be a good weekend for me. This is for Mac, some beer because that looks like a 66 with your duty if I've ever seen one. You want me to be generous. Charles Saul, shout out to Charles, give it us $10. And yep, yep, Charles, let's just start there. And I know Rob's there. Rob's a big 10 guy.

Look, because he's an Iowa Hawkeye guy. But to me, I don't know how anybody can be. So I did the, we had a big, that was a big 10 crew on the call tonight. That is the worst thing I've ever seen in college football. And I've watched college football my whole life. I think that was absolutely shout out to Kyle Colmes. I know he's a Hawkeye with you. That was, no, that was even worse than Cupid or John. Like Cupid or John, I could see the confusion, right? This was the absolute worst thing I've ever seen. And this one like is, it is so wrong that I actually think they should, I mean, you can't undo. They storm the field. But at the same time, like I actually think they should take legal action because I don't under, I don't see the case. And now on they better have, from this day on, they better have the big 10 room mic'd up, like the ACC does because Western Michigan, Michigan folks, if you missed the game, I

thought, now I get it. There was a questionable spot on like a third and one, right? That they gave him a first down, but they still would have a fourth down to do it. But there was a missed face mask on a, like about that eight or nine minute mark, remember the 10 minute mark that would have put on the 20 minute drive. I'm sorry, the 20 play drive on the 20 play drive. There was a missed face mask on the, that resulted in them kicking a field goal. It is the one or the worst missed face mask I've ever seen. It was like a five minute face mask, right? And that would have gave them a first down inside one, like the 20, right? And I was pretty irate at that. I'm like, how do you miss that? Like I understand a missed face mask normally, but like when the ball career has it and you can do that for five minutes, how do you miss that? But then they even one up themselves on the, the Hail Mary where the clock, the clock goes out while the ball is in the air. This thing is so bad, the fact they could overturn it. And then of course, the fact they would score on that overturning, but just the fact they

would overturn it and put a second there. I don't see how there's any case, the guy on NBC said we were using the same clock. They're using their refs guide is a gene star. So I don't remember who the fuck their names are, but it is the worst call in the history of college football. And what's so sad about this is Western Michigan is never beaten Michigan. They should be having this moment where they just want at the big house. And this is a life changing moment for the players. For the university, you're going to bring in millions, all of a sudden you're going to move to the front of the playoff, right? For the group of five, they would automatically be I think with boys losing today, even the boys who look really good. I think Western Michigan would be in the driver's seat right now with the win at Michigan. So you're taking that off the table. You got a team where the whole team came back because they bought into the one the Mac championship, probably had an IL offers. I don't know that, but it's rare that you have a team win a championship and they all come back. And to take that off the table.

To take that off the table, not only Lance Taylor, I mean, he's probably going to be hired anyway, but if he wins that game, you think, and man, every job's open for his next. I mean, everything, everything, the amount of money I talked about last year when JmU and Tulane made the playoffs and how much money came in. We still talk about app state beating Michigan from 20 years ago. It wasn't as bad spread wise. This is a 28 point fucking spread though, right? They're 27 and a half, whatever. It's on the same level. People would be talking about Western Michigan and Kalamazoo and just the sheer clicks on that and just the news on that would be making them a much more desirable place. Like this is like just a gigantic fuck up by the big 10. Rob, you defend the big 10 a lot and I get it because you're a Hawkeye. I want to know your thoughts on what you saw. Yeah, I'm thinking that and Yahoo probably got involved in this game, but no, and all seriousness,

like I think about the biggest sports robberies of all time, right? And the one that as a baseball fan that comes to mind is Armando Galaraga. That robbed of a perfect game on the last hour of the game by a horrible call by Jim Joyce, the first base umpire. And that that was kind of a singular moment in the non consequential game that ultimately ruined one of the perfect pieces of history, a majorly baseball. Well, this is one of the perfect pieces in college football history for Western Michigan to go into the big house, right? And to pull off an absolute upset, which already had the game too. They dominated the game and think about where this program was at the end of last season. When you're talking about Western Michigan and land sailor, they fucked up Miami of Ohio in that match championship game. Then they beat the shit out of Kennesaw State in the bowl game. This program felt like it was ascending to like PJ Fleck levels, if not above that. And then to ruin, like to straight up ruin their season, not, you know, they might go

on to be the G5 and that's totally fine. But there's levels of success and accomplishment that comes with the G5, you know, pulling off that big upset the way that South Florida did in the swamp last year or you know, app state beat Michigan or whatever it may be. There's that marquee win that you look back on with these G5 teams of pulling that huge upset and it meaning something transcending time. It just got robbed from our fucking faces for what? It's like criminal. That's what I'm saying. Like to me, I don't think I hardly would ever say like, let's, like, I don't know what you can do, but this one was criminal that you took that experience away. That's why it's all these conferences better have their fucking rooms. The ACC has it right now. I think the big 12's doing it this year. All of them should be mic'd up because we need an explanation right away. Like Petiti should be talking right now. And I heard Lance Taylor's press conference. That's why I wanted to wait to do this. He took the high road credit to him. He's a better man than me because I would fucking burn the fucking place down, dude.

I would be like, what are we doing? What's the point? Why even play the game? Why are we even playing the game? It's so evident that the clock is over. Even if there was an extra second, I think the clock was over. Even if there was an extra second, it would still be over. And how fitting is this that Michigan? I mean, the first thing I thought of was like Michigan Charles Woodson Rose Bowl against Washington state. We're Washington state and Ryan Leif throw a Hail Mary and the clock hits the ball hits the grant like four seconds. And they just run that bitch off. They're 40 yards away from a win. And they just said, no, that's it Michigan won the Rose Bowl. This though is just, I mean, the millions that just got robbed from Western Michigan. That's why I think they like, I don't know what you can do, but they should try and they you take, you know what, it's college football ever just take it to a judge, right? Everyone else is doing it. Fucking take it to a judge. Yeah, honestly, I think the big 10 and they will never do this, but I think they should come out and say, you know, we're going to give that win to Michigan, Western Michigan.

That's, but they won't do this because then it opens Pandora's box. I mean, this is so bad for the sport though, dude. It's such a bad look. This looks like fucking Don King shit. You know what I mean? You're like fucking watching like a corrupt fucking fight. It's just, it's a bad day for college football. It is a really bad day for, on the first day of the season for this to happen. I think it's a terrible thing for the sport. What's the point of review? What's the point? And I'll tell you like the narrative going into the season and you're going to see this in college basketball as well as at the, the G five or the mid majors, they just can't compete anymore, right? They don't have the talent pool that NIL's got to ruin that. There's the haves and the haves not have nots, even within the vision one level, we just saw that not be the case. And it can't even be reflected in the true result, right? And so when, when, and the back end of the season, people are going to be like, oh, well, when you look at how the G five and the record against the power conference teams, it was

this, just remember that there's asterix every single year. And this is just a perfect example of there being an undescribable one. There's just nothing you can really say here. Yeah, I mean, just think about those players, dude, like to take that experience away from them. This is what I mean, like criminal action, like these refs need to, need to, like, I get it. No one wants to be a ref because calls are fucking challenging. People have to fucking speak. I, I, there should be a microphone and all those rest faces. All the fucking review officials up in the booth, the Tony Pateady, his fucking assistance, everybody should be having to answer for this because it just, it's, it's just not right. Like this is, this is just, we just saw, we, we just saw a bank it robbed, right? A bank got robbed. A lifetime experience got robbed. It's just, this is filthy. Absolutely fucking filthy. Where are you going to say I'm sorry? No, no, no, I was going to say like how winning him, I'm sure is actually going to be like

against this and publicly because he's such an upstanding head coach that the Michigan job almost doesn't fit him to an extent. Like he got to be a little bit of a bolstered artist and a PR guy to have one of these huge marquee jobs in the sport and how winning him kind of wears his heart, I sleep very transparent. And I'm sure he's going to be one of the people that's kind of outspoken of I didn't think we had it today. And that's going to be the first kind of voice that needs to stand out is like, yeah, there's something going on here. I mean, dude, I thought the first, I mean, I thought the missed face mask was so bad. Yeah. I thought there was no way to top that because the face mask actually I think might have ended the game too, right? Like because you put, put some, I think I have to go back and check what yard line they are on, but I want to say it was like the 28, 29 yard line. So 15 yard penalty from there, you know, a new set of downs because they were milking that fucking clock. I don't know, like, and then you add on this.

I just thought, how the fuck could you, how could you do this? And you're seeing the same video, we're seeing the same video, like even when I was watching I was like, what are they seeing? And then to have the guy on NBC say, hey, you know, we're using their clock. Well, if you're using their clock, what the fuck are you looking at? And how, like, and then for them the storm too, that's what I'm saying. This is so rotten. This is so fucking rotten on all accounts, man. And shout out to GBA Farms says it's not that fucking hard. No, I don't think it's that hard of a gig. I'm saying it's hard as far as like, it's hard. There's not many people that want the gig or like because there comes a lot of pressure in your house. If you reveal their information, they're going to like someone lost a shit ton of money probably tonight on the money line. You know what I mean? You're putting their lives in a way in danger. But I don't care at this point. Like you got to speak. You somebody has to speak on why this was done. And I'm not talking about Petiti.

I'm talking about the people in the fucking booth or that ref, you know, whoever made the final decision needs to be in front of a microphone and that should have, should have already happened. That should have already happened. That should be happening right away because there's no excuse. There's no excuse for it. What's that? I would have loved to like the ACC the last couple of years has been doing the, when there's a review, you get the inside look at the, you know, the review of the process from the control room or whatever. Every single conference and just needs that. Not for like the entertainment aspect of the broadcast, but for like the transparency and the accountability of like what is actually being communicated to the rest on the field. Right? Yes. Like, because like what was being said and what, what could have the conversation have been in that big 10, you know, command room when they're talking, oh, you know, well, it says zero, zero. And the ball is still very clearly above the end line.

Just give them like a point five. What's being said right there? That's what needs to actually, I think end up. That's why you got to mic up all that shit to me. All that needs to be miced up and available. We want full transparency. Right? Full transparency is what is all we want here. It's just, it's just ridiculous. It's just fucking ridiculous that they did this to these. Can you imagine that though? Like, can you imagine being on that team like this isn't experience that would reroute your whole fucking life? You know what I mean? Like you are forever a legend in Kalamazoo, your whole fucking life. You're a legend in Columbus, Ohio, your whole fucking life. And you just rip that from them. And for what? This is why like as much as I love college football, I love it more than most. It's, it's been shady for a long time. There's been a lot of shady shit now, not necessarily on on, I've always said like on

the scheduling aspect or the, or you know, getting into the playoffs or, or, you know, bowl games, right? Like bowl game, redirection and shit. Go back and look like when leech's team was, also in Washington state that should have been in the orange wheel. And they're like, no, they don't draw a TV number. Let's take in a lesser team. This one might take the cake though, I think. This one, I mean, like even like, okay, you know, like the Colorado fit down. You'd talk about, but at least like, I actually don't think that's that bad because they spiked it on fourth because it said third. You see my point? They would have ran a play had the Bozo been, been correct. So like I don't, I think that argument is not, not that valid because it's like, well, they wouldn't have spiked it if they knew it was fucking fourth down. You know what I mean? So like, they got the extra down, they spiked it, but they thought it was third down. So anyway, just ridiculous. It's really criminal. But I will say to your point, Boise showing UMass is showing, I have to even say the

other teams that lost really close like Toledo. And I think, you know, there was enough, unfortunately, it wasn't my pirates because they got it. We got our heads kicked, but enough from the group of five today that I think, you know, any reasonable, which I'm sure they won't. Well, by the time December comes around, they'll probably forget this, but that, this is obviously, they're, they've proved their worth by Boise. He took it to it. Boise doesn't mis-manage that clock right before the half. I think they win that game. Well, I think honestly, like, so what you're kind of speaking to is, hey, us as football fans, we know what we saw. We know how to analyze it. We know what it applies to in context, but the way that it's going to read to committees, the way that it's going to read to the 80% of the public opinion is at the G5 loss. Right. That's not going to matter, ultimately, like those upsets need to happen because the silver

linings, especially with Notre Dame getting the guaranteed spot, if they win X amount of games and the power five getting that guaranteed 15 in the mix, it's just like, they're so little margin for air now for the G5s, even if they go 12 and 1, 13, whatever it is, I mean, they're going to be so up against it that they needed that way and they come to fruition to really put them over the edge. Sure. Sure. But I'm just saying, like to me, even like South Dakota State North Western, I like to me, the big 10 who has clearly been the best conference the past couple of years, based off national championships, maybe not, you could argue the depth thing. They struggle, then they struggled. Like I mean, certain teams, the conference so goddamn big, a lot of the team struggle. And I like Nebraska barely like, I they cooked the books in the fourth quarter in Nebraska. And then the Rutgers, the Rutgers UMass thing was just a fucking disaster. And then I mean, some of the other outcomes I feel like just, but man, taking this way from Western and Boise, I thought Boise, I thought actually out, I still have my issues with Dan

landing, dude. I thought Boise outplayed them today. I really did. I thought they outplayed them. And just bad clock managed right before the half, but landing's teams get over penalized. Just I think the question still looms now, or could still win the national championship this year. But I still think that until proven otherwise, like I am not all the way in on Dan landing. Like it seems to me are not always super prepared. They don't look it. I know it's Boise, but Boise almost beat them two years ago. So well, I think you should have their full attention. You know, you for this matchup and to see them barely get past, what'd you make of that game? Yeah, you know, I think when you look at Oregon, you fall in love with the flashes because, I mean, Dota Moore was licensed some balls 30, 40 plus yards down the field that look like, wow, like, all right, I get it. Why he's going to be potentially the number one overall pick in the NFL draft type stuff. But I'm looking over at this UCLA game and I'm seeing Nicky all me. I'm Yimali Yaba show those

flashes in the pan as well. I think what separates those kind of those crazy, great flashes is the consistency that you show across the game. And Dan landing at the end of the day, you know, he's a defensive type of guy. The defense should be ready to go. And the defense has shown up in huge spots, you know, in past years, but to not really be ready to go from week one on the outside against the team like Boise State. I don't know. Like like, let me ask you this because I would say, I was thinking about this when I was watching the Toledo game against Michigan State. And I was like, man, if this game's in Toledo, there's no way you can convince me that Michigan State was going to win that game, right? And I think you could ask you that that question is like, if that game's in Boise, I don't think there's any chance Oregon wins that game based on what we saw today. Now, maybe there's a different mentality. You're on the road. But do you think if that game was in Boise, Oregon, what a one that game today? Hell no. Yeah, I think they would have got their

ass kicked. I think they would have lost by like 17. And the same question, I mean, I don't want to bring up the Western thing because they just are to win it in Ann Arbor. Like if they almost dominated like UMass almost dominated, I know the score was different. But you see what I'm saying? Like Western Michigan, you go on a 20 plate drive. They were physically the better team than Michigan. So like, I mean, you can't say that often. You can't say that often. Um, unbelievable, unbelievable. We should probably talk about Clemson right now. Hey, I bet Clemson, I bet Clemson I also bet Clemson money line. You're looking like good. God. I scored a death. I mean, this is where we should think they're what they're in the 50s now. Yeah, it's going to be 51, three year and two seconds. Dude, I think I think this like I wonder the patience

for Clemson and Daba, which is hilarious because these two years are moving from the playoffs, but I just wonder. Yeah, a beat down like this is still six minutes left. Well, and you think back to that and that playoff team, the expect they snuck in, right? And yeah, that even that team coming out of the year had like national championship definitive expectations and barely snuck in. Then they got bounced by Texas and really kind of not embarrassing fashion, but it wasn't like they were competitive throughout. And now this team, when you look at the continuity because that's what Daba has really tried themselves as we all use the portal. We're just bringing back the guys that we have. Well, the guys that you have are losing 51 and three. I guess the first year head coach. So, look, GBO is all SEC and I get it. Like that's your squad. That's, I mean, your squad's in it, but you tell me you didn't see 51 to three or whatever the fucking is right now. Like, I don't think anybody in their right mind had LSU beating Clemson by 47 points with six minutes

left on fucking believable. Man, some outcomes today. How'd you do batting was today? Well, if UCLA hangs on, I'll go 500 today and I blame West Virginia for not holding out and getting back up for four matches, dude. I was heavy on them, dude. That nine o'clock or, you know, 9 a.m. on the West, but like that slate. Look, I had a bad ECU ECU. No. I said, Bama. I said, Bama personally. I actually thought ECU's defense was playing pretty good. It was the offense that sucked, but yeah, continue. He won't today, both. Well, I thought early on the defense like first drive, we, we come with the safety blitz or corner blitz, whatever it was. And the dude just misses the tackle on third down, but it should have been, it should have been punning. It should have been three and out for Bama. But you can't hit a quarterback. So this nowadays, no one could fucking tackle. So like you're afraid to hit the quarter

back. Then the next drive, they ended up scoring, but I thought I was on a bullshit roughing the passer. I thought the defense actually did its part to, to, to start an upset early on. Now, obviously, the floodgates opened, right? But the offense now. And, and I will say this, sometimes a big telling point in the kind of the first start of the season is how does a freshman start over, you know, kind of a veteran 10 year guy like an Austin Mac, for example, he and Russell. Um, he looks like he can ask. He's gonna be nasty. Yeah. And I can tell. Right out the game because he's athletic too. And you factor in that Ryan Williams out there, Ryan Coleman Williams, I guess now is dropping like 70 yards worth of passes and he let him do that. Like what the fuck dude? Well, and you know what, it's crazy. It's like he still gets crazy separation. It's just that he can't make the catch. It's almost like we're talking about a key Butler for Iowa state or,

you know, one of these guys that gets open and then just has a stone hands. Aligned the sweet taxes. I don't know man. Yeah. Nice poll. Um, yeah. I mean, so my, the way I started the day with ECU and then West West Virginia, I'll tell you this, I have a future not only because Macintosh, just because I believe in Richrod. I took a future. So I'm on like the win total over. I got a future. They were up what 24 nothing at half. Now that's the only thing I would give if Macintosh would see her be like, okay, they called off the dogs maybe, but I don't think Coastal is that good. Now maybe maybe I misvaluated coastal and they're better than I think quarterback played pretty good today. But beating coastal by seven, there's some red flags. There's some big red flags. Yeah, I mean, well, there was that kind of scene at the end of the game where Richrod goes up to do spay leaf coast of Caroline, just like, I'm glad I

wouldn't have to see you again. Well, um, he's not going to be the best quarterback West Virginia faces this scene. So they got to figure it out and that's on the ball. And that's not in the ball, honestly, for about five years, he's been absolutely terrible in cover in the past. Yes, yes. So that, I mean, the good news is this is UT Martins on the schedule next week. So, uh, but I will say they get Virginia in three weeks or two weeks, I guess, in Charlotte. Based on what I've seen thus far. Now obviously football doesn't work like this, but Virginia, Virginia looks a lot better than West Virginia thus far. But hey, a win is a win is a win. Indiana, Indiana, they didn't cover North Texas. Actually, I thought played pretty well for like, they just couldn't, yeah, they just couldn't, uh, you know, capitalize. But I felt like they actually moved the ball pretty well. What was your thoughts on your Hoosiers that are in your big 10 anything that's in the big 10 I say it's you. Hey, I'll take some ownership of the Hoosiers here.

And I mean, yeah, they kind of feel like a machine right now. They, you kind of know that they are in the upper echelon of college football North Texas. To your point, like, there were some teams Texas State, for example, that looked far worse against the top echelon of college football today. And uh, yeah, nothing really that I guess shocked me, Neil Brown's back in the mix and, um, you know, David Jackson had a little bit of a reunion here. Just didn't go to plan. I don't know about you guys, but it was great seeing Hoover with that fucking bloody face. Oh, so yeah, I was I was cheers and muddy waters to say, look, we're back. Um, but credit to him for not being a bitch and saying in the game, yeah, that was the real Tim T-bone red data raid scenario. Yeah. Yeah, 100%. Uh, Houston, Oregon State, I thought that look, I actually think Oregon State was better than I thought they would be. So yeah, maybe that like I always look at like

watching all these games and I'm like, my wind total like some of a bitch, I think Oregon State's going to be much better than I thought. Uh, nah, it doesn't mean they're going to make a bowl or anything, but they play pretty well. I think Houston's a good team. So shout out to the Beaves only losing by 13 Nebraska cook the fucking books against Ohio. Oh my god. That's close game. Oh my god. This is a one point game at half time. They score 21 and the fourth fuck off. Yeah. Fuck. Thoughts on Matt rule. Are you still drinking the rule aid? I've never, I never have been. You know, like, I, it's hilarious when, when the Nebraska wins the off season like they do for the last 10 years, uh, their fan base says that they're going to go eight and four, nine and three. They don't go sticks and six. And so like, this is just another year where I think the Nebraska is just going to be a flame out and they're going to get tired of matter rules, you know, preaching of, and, and usually these types of games too. In past years

with Matt rule teams have been, you know, generating the hype in the first four weeks. They blow out these types of teams. Today was genuinely close for three quarters. I love going. I saw as I was fan. Yeah. No, I was like, well, please dude, let's, let's, let's call us made a spade. The Mac is pretty fucking good this year. Like, it looks pretty damn good. As I've said, I think Toledo is only going to get better with the brand new coach, right? You mass and pop Watts and just give them the natty now, right? Western Michigan, obviously, just beat Michigan and Michigan. We will, if the, look, anyone in Kalamazoo, you know how we deemed national championships like Alabama's got one from like the fucking, uh, like the Birmingham register some shit like that. And it only does a paper on like this Sunday, right? Um, um, over an SGPN, we will gladly admit that you won the game. Oh, I, we will, uh, we will get signatures. We will get a certification. If you need dial one, 800 picked on D people in Kalamazoo

or anyway, if anyone knows anyway, that works at Western Michigan. Hey, you see F, you see F one national title last five years or whatever it is, right? They did. And I honor that shit. I honor that shit. Um, uh, dude, I cashed. So I mean, I, I, I lost on, uh, dude, I, I bet Bryant plus 237 and a half. What the, what drew you, what drew you to Bryant? Well, they beaten, they beat an FBS last year. And then the year before they should have beat an FBS, they lost in double over time. And I'm like, Army goes on these 10 minute drives. I'm high on Army this year, but I was like, I know how this all fence works. There's only going to be like 12 possessions in the game, right? So it's like Army 159 to three. So my noon, dude, like opening up the slate. I was like, man, okay, I lost on West Virginia. I lost in East Carolina. I lost on fucking Bryant, the Bulldogs, but to save Anna and I lost on, actually, let me talk about the teams I lost on,

because the Flamin' Libs, you piles a shit. J. M.U. 20 Liberty 13. Did you have any action on this game? Because it came down to the final drive, but Liberty just never looked comfortable, like offensively. Shout out to Billy Napier. He's back, Sunbelt Bill, he's back, but your thoughts on that one. Or did you have any action on that? I, I didn't. And honestly, at this point for, for Liberty, James, Chad, well, I don't really know where they sit as a program in terms of a trajectory, right? It feels like a lot of teams in that conference are surpassing them in pretty quick fashion. And even on those coaching turnovers, roster turnovers, they still aren't capitalizing on that little gap that they have. So I'm worried about Liberty the rest of the way. Yeah, I'm having pretty heavy on the win total over again. I lost last year, but I'll tell you, this if Chad, well, doesn't win this year with Hugh Strip Club freeze now unemployed. I could see them going back to it. I can see them going back to it. So yeah, I opened up just

really terrible, but then to save the days, I did lay 20 and a half with Yukon. Maybe it was 19 and a half. I can't remember something. Yukon beat down Lafayette 56 to seven. Just give them another nadi. They got one in 2020 from the New York Times. Of course. I mean, I cashed on that. I feel really good about that play. I don't think many were on that. Then I did cash on pit. I ended up betting pit minus the number against the redskins of Miami Ohio at the back of quarterback. Pit scored 59 fucking points. How about this dead? You see the stat by Henshel? Seven seven touchdowns to seven different players. Unfuckin believable. They're Mason Henshel. Thoughts on, I guess the Mac didn't really show up there, but Miami Ohio starting quarterback was out for the year. Like announced like a week ago. So that was kind of a handicap. Any thoughts on that one? Yeah, I was riding Miami Ohio here and they were competitive early on. And honestly,

they have a guy and scoop Smith. I don't know if you know who this player is, but true freshmen 5 5 140 pounds and holy shit. Can he burn like he's gonna he's gonna be Dre Archer, you know, from Kent State. He's gonna be a reminiscent of that guy. And I'm excited to see him how he performs against less athletic teams. And yeah, no, this was a beat down. It got really out of hand in the second half like the third quarter right out the gate. It kind of felt like Miami Ohio was starting to move them all until that defensive line for pit was starting to just really get after the passer. Narduzi had the defense rating go and yeah, that kind of spelled the doom. Yeah, yeah, I mean, I didn't I didn't even think it would be like that, but then I mean, South Carolina waxed Kent State. So I guess the Mac did have a couple couple of, you know, black guys. But can we just say like we're talking about a lot of games that just kind of

sucked on paper going in and they sucked in actual life. They did suck too. Yeah. I did I even took the over after talking to my guy, Chris van Dine from Phil steel. We took the over on Kentucky Youngstown. That didn't hit, but don't worry. I ended up having a good day because Air Force covered for me, beating Duke K 34, nothing. I know you want zero of that. But I also cashed in on the temple owls. That was I think a triple lock temple. Flocking up a road on temple is going to be a problem in the American conference. This year, I'm telling you I watch that shit. Love dealer. They are going to be a problem. We talked Boise, Oregon. How about dude, I bet Boston college. They're they're the worst team. They're the worst power five team. After watching that game, pretty sold that they're the worst power five team out there. Pretty sold that they're the worst

power five team out there after that game. That might be one of those like mid season I quit and then he just joins LCS coaching staff or something from Bill O'Brien. I can't imagine that's a very fun occupation to be holding right now. Yeah, yeah. I think we have no a beaniec behind the boards. And folks, remember that Western Michigan game SG dot P N slash SG dot P N slash store for refs or terrorists. What am I looking at here? It's Michigan propaganda. He does not have a mic. Yeah. Yeah. Buddy, there's no way you can convince me. There's just no way. What am I looking at here? What's the point here? And whose clock is this? Whose microwave is this that they're showing? Wait, what's happening? We were looking at in section right now.

Yeah. No idea what you said. Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Yes. No, yeah. Oh my god. He's wearing the hands. We can see you get off. I'm up north. I'm up north. Yeah. So was there volume on that video? No. No. So what the big 10 just tweeted out was they like screen grabbed the actual replay review process. So you can hear like the people talking over it. That's all I was going to show. I've texted Colby. We absolutely lost that game. I don't mean to step on anybody's feet during this podcast. But no, you're good. I have a bunch of Michigan. One of my best friends I grew up with. You know, that he hit me up and he's like, yeah, this is complete horseshit. You know, that Cody Frazier hit me up. I mean, I have a few different Michigan friends that I know from LA that hit me up. They're like, yeah, this is horseshit. Even the mid if Michigan fans aren't claiming it. You know what I mean? Like then you're like, okay, okay. You know what I mean?

Because like I get it. You can have fan blinders on like any other fan base. But when I get that many messages, like I got like five or six different messages from Michigan fans being like me one of them where it if they're saying that come on, come on. Like it's that obvious. It's that fucking obvious on the broadcast. It was zero zero zero. With the ball in the air. Like I still think there's like two seconds after that. Right. Even if there's some latency, right, which you expect from the broadcast time. It's not like two seconds worth. Yeah. If you wanted to pull it up and somehow give volume on it, I have no idea. But like it's actually really cool. We've never seen that before. Like a conference tweet out like, what's their statement though that they're co-signing it? Yeah. Like the big 10 put out like an official statement and video like. Can we read statement? Yeah. Let me see that statement. Can you put that statement back up? Because I can't read it. I can't wait to read this bullshit. I read it. I've only watched the video, which I was like, wow, this is actually pretty dang good.

Like we haven't seen that type of transparency before in like a replay review. So statement from the big 10 following video review, it was determined that West Michigan's number 18 jumped from an established out of balance position with his left foot and made contact with the ball with one second remaining on the clock as shown in the provided video of what was viewed during the replay process. But the clock they show looks like a fucking micr I could do that in my kitchen. Yeah. Yeah. It says 85 minutes prior to the game all broadcast cameras. I don't know how they get that clock different from the stadium clock or whatever because Lance Taylor said it was 0-0 in the stadium. Everyone I think you can even see it looks like winning Ham is words after when he's shaking his hand. So in this statement they're saying that the player that initially touched the ball first jumped from the he was already stepping on the out of bounds line. Correct. Him touching the ball first immediately in the air without the ball falling to the ground stops at clock like right there.

Yeah, because you don't even see him. You don't even know if it's even there yet like because I mean yeah, he's touching it at some point within the next. But from this viewpoint, you can't deduce when it actually hits his fucking skin. You know what I mean? Like now okay now okay. Yeah, I'm not buying it. I just don't know where you get this clock here. Like why is this the clock that we're just looks like a phony clock. It looks like I could do that like 2026 and we're using the like analog. That's what I'm saying. That looks like some shit from like NBA live in 1994. In this statement, it says that somewhere in the stadium, a shot of game clock in the stadium was used to determine the final rule. I'm just saying like I could create that clock. Like if you gave me how long did it take? It's been two hours now. I could go I you could time me. I mean you created so many fangs. Yeah, you created like 135 theme songs for teams. So yeah, I believe you. Yeah, I just

don't spit at my ass and tell me it's raining. And then why did I take you this long then to do that? That's it. That should have been out right away then. Why does it take that long? You had to curate the statement. Make sure there's no grammatical errors or anything like that. I don't know. All right. I'll get out of here. Yeah, bro. Hope you're good man. I appreciate the info. Yeah. Unbelievable. Horseshot. Shout out to Charles. Give us $10. The funny thing you will see after this Dundee. You should go. Oh, the big minute. Let's try to read it again. The funny thing you will see after this. Dundee. And you should get so much credit for it. What's that? Oh, they weren't even watching the game. I don't know. Were you talking like Urban Meyer and the whole crew? Yeah. I don't know. Thank you. But explain more explain more. I just think like that's a pretty lame clock. They're showing us right there. That should looks like you could easily show that. Yeah. Like how do we know those cameras are synced up? And again, like this just goes back to the easy fix is whoever

makes a decision in the review room, make that transparent on the TV. It's not entertainment thing. It's a transparent and transparency thing. Right. Yeah. I love that the ACC is doing it. And they've already been doing it for two straight seasons. How are the big 10 and SEC non-malf probably because there's some shit that they're trying to hide that they don't want to be caught on a hot mic with. Well, that's why we as the like the public should demand that because like if we're going to be putting not only just our fandom behind their teams, if it's a billion dollar industry, but also, you know, wagering legal in almost every state, there's real money's being thrown out there. And we deserve a fucking answer. We deserve transparency. We deserve full transparency. And that's why I think we everyone should be I rate. Well, Michigan fans should be I rate. And you know, we we we show them the NBA all the time. And I think it's a garbage product, but they also have now with like the review system when the referees make, you know, a call. They have to get on the mic and say it out loud, same with Major League Baseball. And obviously,

the ACC we just we've been talking about it in the command room. They do that for every single replay. Again, not only does it add a little bit of a layer of transparency for the novice watching the game for the very first time, seeing how the process plays out, but it's also a way to hold these people accountable. If they're Bolshin, it's going to be very, very obvious to you and me and 90% of the people watching that it's bullshit what they're saying. Sometimes when you're watching these ACC reviews, they're like, oh, yeah, I don't know. My amy virgin, you tech. My amy virgin, you tech. Hell man, right. But at least you can side. I thought that was horseshit to overturn that. But at the same time, like by us seeing the, I think what that started the transparency, right? That started the transparency. I think so. Yeah. But by us being able to see after that, then that, you know, a call here or call there, then you can kind of understand, but to overturn something, the reason why it's so important is you need to be able to see substantial proof.

And releasing some shit looks like my microwave clock two hours after the fucking game and putting that next to it, spare me, spare me, right? Yeah. I forget what we were on last. We were talking about last, but shout out to Bnick. I guess I'll read it now. Folks, what a tie you that the college football experience is brought to you by us. We are part of SGPN. So we talked boys and positive college is what I was talking. They're fucking awful, dude. I think like having got eyes now on two Stanford games. I don't know. Stanford got drilled

last night, but they had a bunch of starters now. I'm pretty pretty convinced. Well, I guess you could say next week the red band Danny game is Rutgers Boston College. We're honoring the story with the red band Nana and we should honor that. But I almost think like because it's actually on 9 11 this year. Americans deserve a better football game than Boston college Rutgers, but I get it. I get it. Yeah, Texas state. I hit on Texas Texas state. I hit the over. Yeah, let me tell you. I thought I was cruising through this, but then I got a little tense. Got a little tense there. I thought Texas state would score more than seven. So credit to Will must champion the new Longhorn's defense Tennessee destroyed. Ferman kind of can't remember if they covered it. I covered I bet on Towson. They covered against Navy. See, only army fuck be Air Force. Navy. They did me right. And if you hit on any of these, let me know.

Too late Duke was that that came started really late. I didn't watch as much of it as I thought it would because it was the lightning delay. These fake fucking lightning delays. All right. But Duke wins 17 three. Give any action on that? No. No. No. Auburn beats Baylor 17 16. This game I did cash on Baylor plus seven and a half. This game was ridiculous because Baylor goes for two. Why? I don't understand why they went for two. I don't. Did you watch these games? Yeah, I did start to finish. And I was riding Auburn first half minus four and a half. I don't know if you watched the end of the first half, but Byron Brown threw a pick when they were up three and a and field go range and wasn't so great for me. But I will say just in general, I was super disappointed with Auburn's offense. I felt like that side of the ball, if anything, was going to be able to go out there and churn against Dave Randa, the defensive new guru whose defense always blows ass. And

and it just I don't know they just didn't look good. Myron Brown looks sloppy. He looked at accurate. He looked like he could run the ball really well, which that's going to play no matter who you are and whatever conference. But I'm a little bit more worried about Auburn moving forward offensively. Yeah, that's fair. That's fair. Like well, here's what's crazy about that game. I understand going for two, if maybe you were truly at Auburn, like you're at a neutral site. Not granted it was a lot of Auburn fans, but also like you normally go for two, like when you think like in my opinion, this game was kind of even the whole game. And I will say this DJ lagway. Yeah, he sucks. I, you know, although he saw the comments and another week, but he was talking about how he felt like God had forsaken him. He was playing so bad at Florida. Yeah, I did. I didn't see that comment. Yeah, I didn't get better today. He was, it looks like he's

like, you know how Kevin Hogan when he was at Stanford was throwing like the javelin and like, it looked like if he was putting the whole body motion into every single throw, well, DJ lagway does that, but it goes five, you know, miles the other direction. And I tend to think that that Baylor at some point just offensively. And if that defense ends up being what it has been the past couple of years, this might be one of the worst teams in the big 12 genuinely. I just don't understand why you go for two there. Can you, now, now, granted that it was a great play design. If lagway, those are the ball were it's supposed to go. Baylor wins, but I'm just saying like to me, like your chances of getting the two-pointing adversion, I don't know. I'd love to know the analytics on this. I would assume like, I don't know, 30%. Yeah, you know, I'll never fall to team for going for the win. It was a, a ruckus environment for Auburn. It was definitely that side of the coin. And again, when we're talking about the offices in this game, neither team was

moving the ball. I don't know if necessarily you can trust either defense either in kind of the short field. I don't mind it. It's just, yeah, DJ lagway didn't have a great placement on the ball. And Auburn's defense on that play too. I mean, even with it not being kind of an entirely motion lead type of pass, there was still a decent chance and he gets in the end zone if that defender doesn't actually shut him down the one. Yeah, but, but, but he ruined his momentum though. Like, if it's just thrown here, I don't care who it is. It could be your left tackle and he or right tackle. He's going to score if the momentum kept continue. But the fact he had to go all the way around. I just, I don't, I just don't understand the logic on going for two there because it's like, I thought if anything like it was neck and neck, okay, a little, you know, Auburn did have the fan base, but like, it was neck and neck. And if anything, I think at that very instant, you had the momentum. So I guess maybe that's the logic for going for two. I don't know, it's just a weird decision to me. I'm not used to like, like, to me, if it's like, if it was a Toledo Michigan

state last night, right, where, you know, Michigan state punch him in the mouth of the first half, right? And if Toledo bounced back and got in the game and actually had the lead in the fourth quarter, but you could wonder like, do we have the bodies to sustain this in overtime? I could see them doing it. Baylor, I didn't get that same feeling. It's not like I didn't think they were ever truly getting their ass kicked at any point in the game. You know what I mean? They definitely were, but it was also looking at a battle of incompetence, right? Like, it wasn't like Auburn's defense was going out there and just shutting down Baylor's offense the entire game. That's why they only had 10 points enough, you know, up until the final 15 seconds. It was just that Baylor kind of complete passes. They couldn't run the ball. They couldn't get movement on the line of scrimmage. And, you know, you made those last plays in the last 15 seconds to go in the end zone. It kind of felt like if you're talking about just who had the momentum and momentum,

you know, you can say whatever you want. I fully believe in it. I think you just go ahead and say, I this might be the best look our offense actually gets. This other team is on the ropes. Defense is a hard thing to do, especially in short yardage and ultimately they had the play. It just yeah, I mean, that that that's the best argument. I think it's like, hey, if this goes the way we've practiced it probably a bunch of times, this is a touchdown. He leaked out and he was wide open. He should have tried. There's not even a lot of it. Not only did he not throw it and stride, I think it needs to be a little bit more bang, bang. You know what I mean, but yeah, whatever. You know, I'm an idiot over there. Yeah. But I still cast on that. I cast on AppState against Maine 553. Take that cocaine bears. But I did you ready for my like, I had some some I had a good day. I think still winning day, but whoo. I took Marshall plus 24 and a half. And I get this. I sprinkled the first half money line and the game money line. 45, nothing. Okay. Okay.

I had to do it. Matt Campbell had approved me that it's approved me as a gigantic favorite that he could destroy teams. And I will not I will no longer take a mid major against you. Or at least Marshall's offense was just terrible. I don't even think the defense was that bad. It was the offense, but horrible play by me there. Um, how about the Citadel, man? I'm not going to bullshit you. I threw some money on Charlotte. I watched the Citadel last week. And I was like, man, Wofford, fuck them up. And I was like, okay, Charlotte, Charlotte can't be this bad. They got to be able to take down the Citadel. No, three over times. I watched, what if I told you Donaldson, I watched this whole game. Man, have we ever seen somebody as successful as like a Tim Albin go go from just like, just lighting up. Oh, you're right. Right. One and 11 last

year in Charlotte when they actually had what kind of felt like a decent roster on paper kind of. And then to lose the Citadel start of year two. Well, dude, dude, and like Biff Pogey, they fired like see what you want about Biff. Yeah, this was ready. I actually thought Biff's teams now they were not winning the games, right? But they also had terrible injury luck with quarterbacks. But I actually thought their physicality. Well, I could see they were being physical. Like I could see I was like, damn, this team's going to be a problem. You know, once they get it all together, like they're super physical. Man, I am on the Charlotte win total over. I did like 21 points. I think it was with Charlotte Citadel wins out right. That was a very fun watch. But you know, you're probably wondering, hey, how the hell did I come out of this? Okay, because the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on the fucking Monty line. Get this Eric Morris agency shit out of here and you're

going to enjoy. Messed to Baker. Get this nonsense. Eddie, you look like shit today. 29 of 49 to 40. One touchdown. Two interceptions. Please tell you, I have a Tulsa over and I have a Tulsa future for them to win the American watch out for the Golden Hurricane man. Yeah, I mean, obviously, last year, maybe you know, Columbus State with Mike on the that felt like in just the end of the Mike Dundee era in that game. And you know, when we saw, we didn't really get to see the North Texas Tulsa match up last year in the American. But when we were kind of looking at the back end of the season for Tulsa, it did feel like there were some momentum moving forward. Then wins over Army. Then wins over Oregon State. And when you look at Baylor Haines, I love a guy that can move around in the fact that he beat out Dexter Williams, who my fans in that QV battle, kind of told me what I needed to know. I still went against my belt on Oklahoma State. I felt like there could be some fire there. And I'm with you. I think Tulsa moving forward is a legitimate team to be laying the points with taking the points with the rest of the way.

I think they get Arkansas on it in a couple of weeks. Raise your backs. Better watch out. Raise your backs. Better watch out. Because I watched Arkansas North Alabama today. Yeah. They won 31-14. But you know who Tulsa has next? Who do they have next? They have Sam Houston State and Sam Houston State. I don't know how you feel about just Phil Longo in general. But he is like one of those throwback meathead and coaches who I think it just getting pushed out of this fort. I'm going to be back in Tulsa next week and that's 100%. Yeah. Jeff Sharp, you are confusing me. I locked up the under on Oklahoma State. I did not like the hire of Eric Morris. So you must be confusing me, buddy. Let's talk about your Hawkeyes. 40-0. Yeah. Dominant. I mean, yeah, Northern Illinois didn't pick up a first down until they

got a PI penalty in the like after the halfway point, the third quarter. And that's just because even though I was turning over like seven starters on defense, they've got some more dogs. They've got another epinets in the fold. They've got great linebacker play. They've got great DBs. And offensively, the offensive line looks like it's in a better spot than it has been in the last seven years. And they've had some really good offensive lines over that span too. We'll see who the quarterback is. I didn't come out thinking one way or the other. I still think that Hecklenzky is kind of the athlete of the two that I want to be kind of banking on in those big games and give you that extra little element to the play. But I don't know. I think the offense isn't going to really matter. They got another partner turn touchdown in this game. The defense looks fantastic. I was doing Iowa. Northern Illinois rush for seven yards. You guys had about 500 yards of offense, 507. And this was with three drives, three drives, three drives, three drives, a different quarterbacks

all throughout the game. And even on the back end of the game, the third striker got in and moved the ball. So yeah, that was definitely a good performance. Yeah. Yeah. Southern Miss 49, all corn state three. I double me and Mac double lock this. We went against our boy Chris from Phil Steele. It was on all corn, but all corn. Come on. Southern Miss Blake. Anastas two good of a coach. They almost put up 50. Wyoming Colorado state. I did this in the pregame show. I ended up betting this. Even though I picked the wrong side on this. I took Wyoming plus the points. Bad bet. I didn't go too heavy on it though. I just added something to the card. But then did you have anything on Colorado state? Wyoming? I didn't, but it's it's nice to see Jim Moore again on the board really fast. He's such a good coach, dude. They were fucking prepared, man. They were very I floor. Wyoming has an identity crisis to me because they go, they go higher this offensive coordinator and this, bringing this quarterback with that nosy offense coordinator. I need to know what you're going to be watching that game.

I felt like it's like you want to be old Wyoming for a quarter and you switch up and try to be different Wyoming. And it's like you don't know who the fuck you are in my opinion. Troy beat Sam Houston by three Georgia Southern blank Charleston Southern. Michael Vick covered against old Dominion is old Dominion 131 10. This is a shocker to me. An absolute shocker. And let me tell you something. I'm very we're very worried. I need to talk to Macintosh about this. I had a host state in the FCS. They go dude. If folks did not watch this game, Utah state has a major problem on their hands. Idaho state looks good. Obviously Cody Hawkins do an unbelievable job. I know he studied under June Jones for a long time to run this shit. They took it to him, but the real story to me was the four interceptions. And I believe there was a fifth one that was overturned. But like they have a legit quarterback. Like Utah state had it's not the scheme. They had

guys open right. They have a very bad problem with their they needed but they should have got a better quarterback because that's going to if that unless he's injured or something and playing with a bruised hand or something, there's major problems in Logan. And I'm happy with the wind total, dude. And I will tell you like Utah state is it kind of has felt like over the past two decades even with this program that's kind of plug and play right because they're almost on an island out there where they can recruit the guys who are in the region and they're guys in the region want to go to a school that appreciates their culture and that's a very tribalistic area in the United States. And Bronco Mendenhall didn't really impress me last year. It was I think obviously they made a bowl game I believe, but it didn't feel like a complete season and then out the gate losing by double digits to Idaho state. I'm starting to kind of think that there's higher standards that Utah state and Bronco Mendenhall might not be living up to them right now. I'm still sold

on Mendenhall because like they still outgain like they had 470 yards of offense, right? Yeah, it's just you got to have your quarterback has to learn to take like they doubled them up in yards. But I mean Idaho state controlled the whole game. They didn't need to move the ball. They kept getting turnovers, right? I mean, I look at the game probably would have been a lot closer without the turnover yardage. You know what I mean? Like that it kind of cooks the books against Idaho state, but that's shadowed to the FCS man delivering some big time when it's Tarleton state six at the bowling green. The city of the Charles the as a massive nice nice man nice dude Tarleton is so ready. That's they beat army last year who was a bowl team bowling green might even be a bowl team this year. There's no shame in it like Charlton probably spends like double the amount of bowling green. So it doesn't shock me too much. Shout out to that. I locked up Memphis. It took to the fourth quarter to get their Memphis destroys Arkansas state 42 24. Memphis boys the next week's

going to be fucking awesome. That's going to be some heat. Yeah, I'm the smurf turf. I also locked up South Alabama against Southeast Louisiana. That thing cashed and how about man, Dan Nichols, the Nazis got destroyed by Kansas state 71 to three. 71 to three. I also locked up Austin Peter governors. They covered against Vanderbilt Vanderbilt did not look very good. I watched that game. They went 28 and nine against the goves. I guess they look good in the second half. I'll say that right now. Rice takes down Houston Christian. South Florida. So I don't mack locked up the airport. I almost did, but they covered for him. South Florida escapes 19 to nine against the airport. We cashed. This was a triple lock. I believe on Jacksonville state against Eastern Kentucky land 20 and a half as they dominated. Okay, let's talk about this one here. Texas tech 33. Abilene Christian 10. I didn't watch any of this game really. Maybe like three minutes. But what the fuck is this score?

Are they fucking with us? Are they treating it like a preseason game? Because I think there's room to be concerned. Yeah, I was kind of watching this game on and off. Obviously, this was going on the same time as a Western Michigan Michigan, which had my attention a little bit more. But yeah, no, Texas tech, it felt like coming out the gates. They were ready to go. The first couple of drives were very scripted and very successful. But I know it's going to feel like their heart wasn't in this game. And we'll see what it looks like moving forward. I think a lot of overreactions come from week one. But Texas tech, we're kind of holding them to a higher standard at this point. And it did not look like they were ready to go in the whole thing. Yeah. Yeah. Um, how about James one Franklin? 73 to 3 against the Virginia military institute known as VMI. Wow. Okay. Yeah. I don't really know what to make of that. But it's still impressive. Yeah. Yeah. Mississippi State destroys ULM.

I do it. I was paranoid on this game. Mac and CJ winning on this. I was pair. I couldn't understand why the line was 28 and a half. I was like, okay, I'm not touching it. I'm not going to bet it because I like this. Why would it be? It should be 42 and a half. Well, yeah. They still would have covered that because Mississippi State won by 49. Then lot tech Northwestern state and the most hilarious outcome. 86. And they even like stopped the game early. Wait, wait, what? I believe that. I believe they went to like the running clock or they had two minutes. I wasn't watching. Someone just sent me something. So I did not do my due diligence there. They're going. Yeah. They need a they need a clean house. Don't end that football program. Someone was saying they need to end the program. No, don't do that. It's been around for a hundred years. Just fix it. You just got to fix it. Yeah. One guy. Yeah. One just one guy right there.

Florida destroyed Florida Atlantic. Some are all looked really good. Also, FAU looks like shit. So I think it's a little bit of both personally, but do you have anything on that? No. And again, this is one of those games where it's like, how much can you really gleam from from this one? Probably nothing. Yeah. BYU destroys Dixie State. Nothing there. North, Western, South, the Coast State. I watched a lot of this game. I actually think Northwestern cooked the books a little bit here with 17 and the fourth. This was a one score game for a while, but credit to Northwestern because South Dakota State really is not a normal FCS. So this is actually a good win. Like I really think this is a good win. Shout out to Northwestern there. Maryland win 62. Nothing. I did bet that. They covered that. Louisiana stuck it to Lamar. We all went in on Mercyhurst like morons and New Mexico State. I have a feeling of extra state's going to fuck my under four and a half wins as they get their

first win of the season, but they looked all right against Florida State. So but we did cover with the beautiful, beautiful lumberjacks of Northern Arizona as Arizona, one by only 20. What was it? 28s. We got I think 31 and a half San Diego State destroyed Portland state and then New Mexico stuck at the central Michigan. I did lose money on that one. Jason. Dude, that's what the backup quarterback too, man. When Jack, look, I have the overall. I'm not super upset at this because I have the over on New Mexico, but I thought when like we did our New Mexico preview like June 15th or something. So I went all in on New Mexico. I bet it like right around then, right? Yeah. Total over to win the Mountain West to make the college football playoffs. And then Jack Lane gets injured what two weeks ago out for the season. I thought I was crowned. I thought it was over, man, but Luke Moga. Yeah. Luke, did you did you actually watch any of this game by chance?

I had it on TV, but I didn't have the audio. So I mean, I'm like, I know they were taking it to him early. So that's why I did not like super focus on it. I will say Luke Moga. And obviously, he was a bigger time recruit going to Oregon. He's got some zip on his ball. Jack Lane, to me, was kind of a point guard passer where he could scramble outside the pocket, extend plays, but not really have like the crazy NFL traits. Luke Moga kind of feels like a guy who has that athleticism profile, but can zip it. I don't know what's going to look like if he's potentially a ratic down the stretch against better teams, but his upside is a lot higher than Jack Lane and, you know, picturing him at his peak with one Jason, we know to be the Mexican might actually even be better with Jack Lane out of the fold, which is kind of crazy to say. It's interesting. Interesting. Well, that's good because I love the love of those being good in college football. I want to talk about a couple of other things here before we, before we get

out of here. But first, I want to let the folks of that college football experience is brought to by Kalshi. Yes, you can trade spreads. One of my total futures and much, much more. Kalshi has great prices for college and pro football. You can trade almost anything on Kalshi in there, available in a ton of different states terms, they condition to apply trade $25 get $25 over on Kalshi. When you use the promo code SGP and that's Kalshi KAL SHI Kalshi promo code SGP and we're also brought to you by a circus sports book. That's Las Vegas, Nevada. Circus sports book is given away at least $30 million in prizes for this year's handicap and contest. Sign up in Nevada and play from anywhere. footballcontest.com use the promo code SGP and you get $50 off your proxy fees because you're going to need a proxy unless you live in Vegas. So do that and let it ride. All right, before we get out of here, I will let you know that I am sweating out. Well, I have you and LV minus three. That's looking pretty good. They're up 21 to six or three minutes left. I have Nevada against Western Kentucky.

Nevada's up 35 seven. Watch out for the Wolfpeck. They're going to be a problem in the conference this year. I think this is a big year. We went pretty heavy on the over six dates up 52 nothing. I'm looking good there. So closing out the night strong. You see a KAL currently 24 24. That's the one I'm really sweating out because I have the golden bears, but plus one and a half or two. What did I go? I think I got one and a half. Game balls thus far. Three game balls each. I'm going to start with Western Michigan. Great win at the Big House. Lance Taylor deserves several blow jobs from several women in Kalamazoo. So great win at the Big House forever. You know, they should build you a statue for that win. Where you go with your first game ball. Yeah, can you not shout out LSU? All the shit coming into the week TMZ out the

ones who didn't even get their NFL players in this game and they still go out. And I mean, Clemson dressed it up in the back half of this game. I guess it scored a touchdown. This really was a 51 to three pass. What a bad look for the ACC. Wait, it wasn't ever was. It kind of felt like Clemson was UMass of last year. You know, like LSU made it look super easy. I'll tell you this, man, I was looking when they were up like 38 to three. I'm sitting there and in the studio, which is just a nice garage. But I was looking at like Chapel Bill plays him in like two weeks. I was like, man, if this is the Clemson, all these games are winnable, right? Like I'm like, I was going one by one on like Bella checks and other ACC schedules. And I'm like, well, fuck if they get this, if they get this team, that's a winnable game. Georgia Tech looks like shit the other night. So I'm like, they all have a sudden, like I'm looking at these Georgia Tech

games, we're looking at these Clemson games. I'm like, these all look super, super winnable. You know, like I think perception, obviously, you know, when we think about Clemson's like dynasty runner, whenever you want to call him during that five year window where they had the Sean Watson and it bled into Trevor Lawrence. Not only do they have like the best quarterback in the college football those seasons, they had Shaq Lawson and you know, a lot of crazy ed rushers and defensive linemen on the other side. Dexter Lawrence, yeah. Dexter Lawrence, they can easily just do what you got after the passer and we're racking up double digit sacks. When you look at this Clemson profile now, it's like a whatever defense quarterback that's not top 30 in the sport and it does kind of feel like in terms of the talent pool of Clemson, it's worse than the Taj boy years, right? Where they actually, they had some guys back then and it doesn't feel like they have guys now. I didn't think we're seeing the last season of that O-Swainy. I mean, you get beat like that. I mean, I know he's built up equity. So you just wonder,

maybe he goes and says, okay, all right, little old Clemson going to use the portal this off, cease. I swear, I swear. But it's been a four year thing, right? Like it goes back to even when K club Nick was in his second to last season and he was defying against the portal. Like no, we would grow from within. That's our style. That's our program. And ever since he's just, he hasn't dabbled with the portal lens. Well, look, this is the saddest thing about it is like, I think it's cool that he starts vizina because it's like the dude battled it, but then at the same time, that day and age of college football is over. And like, and I just want to be in the FCS or something or, you know, which I love the FCS, but I'm just saying like, if you're not actually thinking, wait, he's a great guy, you know, and he's battled it out for four years, but we got to go get my, there's a lot better quarterbacks out there in the market. I mean, hell, I watched dude, I was watching the pop Watson shit and we're all over it. Go listen to our UMass preview. Like,

I just thought like, how the fuck is this guy? Like, how did Rutgers evaluate Longerin better than pop Watson? And I'm like, like, look, I'm not saying I should be involved with the space program, but fuck, fucking, hey, I watch more football. I'm like, we like, Rob, they could call us. And I'd be like, no, no, no, what the fuck are you doing? You're gonna bring in Longerin? There's other quarterbacks that are better out there. You know what I mean? There's better quarterbacks out there. We mentioned Dexter Williams earlier. I would take him over like, yeah, Dexter Williams and Baylor Hank. Yeah, yeah. I'm like, what are we doing here? But yeah, Clemson certainly wanted to watch in the coming weeks. Gameball for me, number two, you know, I think the chance, right? I think it's gotta be out of state. I find it, there is something that is funny here with Utah State. They were the deciding one. If you know, if people are familiar with the story on how the mountain west almost died, so mountain west had verbally told the mountain west that we are staying in the mountain west.

So the Pac-12 was not gonna be able to form all these teams, but it looked like the mountain west was gonna crumble once Utah State backs to add them essentially. Out of all the schools, that was the one they had verbally told them something that they then changed their mind about. So the mountain west shut out to the commissioner because she quickly was able to make this work, because they almost, they almost weren't a thing. But the irony that their first game in the Pac-12, a big sky team who has been a traditional shit program over the past like decade, goes in there and whoops their ass, quite hilarious. Gameball to the Idaho State, Bangles and Cody Hawkins. Shout out to Cody Hawkins, great guy. Gameball, too, where you going? Yeah, let's give it a toll. So we've been talking them up, Shrey Lamb, back-to-back seasons beaten, the big 12 team. And I can't imagine that's happened a whole lot in their program history football. So yeah, shout to them, getting a done and definitive fashion.

Yeah, yeah. Honestly, whoever wins this UCLA Cowgamed deserves a gameball, just because I think it's one of the bigger games of the day. But since we don't know that outcome right now, I will take us to, that's a good one though. And look, people talked about ECU, maybe losing Blake Harald after this year. I don't know about after today, but my first vote would be Trey Lamb. I would be good higher. I don't know if he's going lateral. You know, like, I think we might be able to offer more down the road, down the road, because I, the Mr. Beast thing is accurate. He is working with the school, but we're starting with basketball first. So I'm like, if we could do that, that's what I would want. But, uh, yeah, so I get your point though. It was like he's getting people don't, a lot of people don't know. It's also got a bag. They got a $30 million dollar and a $30,000 or $32 million donation last August. Gameball three for me. It's a tricky one. I feel like you could go,

so dude, I'm going to go to New Mexico. Like backup quarterback Central Michigan bowl team a year ago. I actually thought there's a reason why I bet Central Michigan is I thought like that was going to be a game. Like I was like, man, they're back. They look fucking good. They look really good. So give me a game ball to the Lobos, uh, forgetting to done there. I probably, I mean, I know I probably could have given one to, uh, two other schools, but like Nevada might be deserving of the 42-7 score on Western. See, I was high on Nevada. I wasn't this high. Um, where are you going next? Yeah, I mean, this is going to be the last game ball and there's two FCS teams that pulled out right upsets or upright wins over FBS teams today. Um, I'll go to Arlington. I think that they show that the top of the FCS absolutely can compete with the FBS. And I love when that is the case.

And Tarleton honestly made it look decent today. So I'll give that game ball to them. Dude, if you put Tarleton in the C USA, they might win the conference this year. Agreed. Yeah. I feel pretty good about that statement. Like they'll instantly be like a 9-10 win team, I think. Um, all right. Dude, thank you for pinch hitting so much. Yeah. So some say you're so much better than everybody else. Uh, but, uh, thank you, brother. Uh, you can follow Rob on Twitter. Is it Rob DFB, I believe? That's correct. Yeah. And Rob DFB. I'm on Twitter, the co-bd, you're the fucking man, brother. And you're welcome back whenever you want. All you have to do is text me and say, dude, I want to, I want to talk Iowa football because you know, I love Iowa football, right? Of course. So at any time you want to come on the show, you're always welcome, bro. Thank you for holding it down, man. Hey, I appreciate it. Yeah. I'll come on and spew my eye. We'll prop again any day and, uh, yeah, always a pleasure. You're the man, brother. Folks, everyone to give Rob Donaldson a follow. Uh,

and, uh, yeah, we will be back. Well, probably on, probably on Monday or Tuesday with reacting to the slate tomorrow. By the way, anyone. So there was a game today. A game that I really wanted to watch in the FCS Western Carolina and Campbell. And they delayed it, fake lightning delay. But then, I guess during that fake lightning delay, real lightning did hit, uh, one of their lights allegedly. Their lights didn't work. So when they went to turn them on, so they moved the game to tomorrow at 11 a.m. That's a, a very good game in the FCS. I'm going to it. So me and college football campus tour will be at that thing. Anyone go into the game, hit us up. All right. 11 a.m. Campbell, Western Carolina. I think it's on, well, I think it's on flow sports because Campbell is within the CAA. If not, it's only a SPM plus. One of the two, uh, if you're, if you're going, come on out, all right. Uh, till next time, folks. Oh,

shit. You're back at Capitol coming in hot. $300. Gameball, Dundee, Nevada Tulsa Temple of it. He is the fucking man. You are two kind. You are two kind, man. That's my guy, man. Uh, shout out to you, man. And yeah, let's go Nevada Tulsa Temple. Let's, and I hit my underdog fantasy fucking projections. Um, let's go. Till next time, folks, this is the college football experience. Shout out to the great Rob Dottleton. Ed, we are out of here. Skull bag of men's is not to be messed with.

Cuz it's a bad idea. Bottom line, the bottom line, just pulling jack. Skull bag of men's is not to be messed with. Cuz it's a bad idea.
