I'm Rod Villagomas and it is fri yay, which means, uh, well, it doesn't normally mean anything because we don't really have shows on Fridays, but today it means that we will be talking DFS for the cookout Southern 500 from the Darlington raceway.

3:14Cody, we've refrained over the last couple of days from using all of the cliche names. We've done it maybe once or twice, but I'm proud of us for not dipping into the track to tough the tame and the lady in black. Well, too many times as, as most broadcasters lean on it as a crutch, but we didn't, Cody. So pat on the back for that. That's right. Congratulations to us. I'll take it. I'll take it to, uh, although go fast Troy having a rough one. Imagine losing a one 17 35 to one partly on the last lap. Why are you taking any? I can't. Oh my god. Yeah, that's, that's a tough one. That, that might go in the hall of, of bad beats like, because Zane was clear like he was out there. He was the guy leading. Oh my gosh, that's just terrible Troy. I, that's. Yeah. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, my friend. It's just a rough one going out.

4:15Uh, let's say hello to Marcus. He's saying first high yesterday was his 21st birthday, by the way. So happy birthday to Marcus. He's hoping and predicting that Christopher Bell is going to do great things and win great many things for him. But you know, we hope so too. We have Christopher Bell comes through in the clutch. Again, we're here to talk about the DFS part of this. We've already talked about the Cup series. We've talked about the O'Reilly Auto Parts series in terms of betting aspects of it. So today we swing around and we talk about DFS. No wheel today. Cody and I decided that we were going to save the wheel for super speedway picks. Because, um, you know, it's more chaotic. There's more, uh, there's more stuff going on. And so it's better to just leave it up the chance when it comes to the DFS portion for super speedway. We'll go back to normal or high price driver mid to driver and low price drivers. When it comes to these normal tracks, uh, welcome back Cody. I know that the, uh, gambling, the corporate gambling gods are trying to keep you down my friend.

5:16And we just will not let it, although he's gone again. But again, DFS, that's what we'll do. And then of course later on, we'll sprinkle, sprinkle in some underdog fantasy plays at the end. 6:18He still made $1,000 on Sieg out right and $1,100 on pre-sought. Right. So it's all good. But the 17th, 35 to one, partly would have been a very nice start to the end to the weekend for sure. But it's the Darlington raceway as we've set up before this race is the Cookout Southern 500, 100 more miles than the 400 mile version of this. That means we're set for 367 laps around this 1.366 mile paved track for 501.322 miles around the Darlington raceway here in Darlington, South Carolina. As Cody would tell you if he was here, 38 entries in this race. This is the chase. The chase begins this week. So we are now counting all the points. We are now trying to make sure that all these guys start to move through into the next round of the chase or not next round of the chase. But keep moving through the chase with all the points. Cody, it's good to see your smile face back. How did everything work for you?

7:19Well, my internet's working about as well as my week has been. It's been, it's just been one of those weeks, man. When it rains, the pours, I guess, but I don't know. He seems to be holding up for now. So it's this heat. We're back in the 100 degree. It's been over 90 for, I think we are going to have like a 14 day streak of where the high hits over 90 every day. It's like 101 out today. It's just brutal. So I guess my internet provider said it's too hot for the ship. I, you know, tell you what, this is not, it's not a normal week for us anyways. Like you said, because Friday we're doing it. Maybe your internet's like, hey, I wouldn't expect the work today. What are you going to do with it? The whole schedule's throwing off. We've had all these late shows. It's been, it's been a terrible week. But we're going to make it better with some DFS picks for Darlington and a good weekend at the Southern 500. This is a, is a race that traditionally has been pretty good to us in the past and hoping to keep that up. And I don't know how far you've gotten into it. But the extra 100 miles here, Rod, makes a huge difference in who we like, who we pick.

8:24And it also comes into play big time in DFS streets, right? Because you've got a lot more laps than we do here in the spring. You have a lot more fastest laps to give as well. And the difference, the, you know, what a look at the inner 400 miles and what it looks like at the end of 500 miles often looks a lot different. So tricky, but fun week in DFS and, and fantasy streets for NASCAR. So really look forward to it. Indeed it is. Well, I've already set up the race as far as the track is concerned and everything. I've got the entries already that we know there's really no surprises. So all that's left Cody is to do what we do every week. And that's to give them our favorite high price, mid tier and low price drivers for their DFS late. Again, I told them no wheel today because the randomization of the super speedway makes the wheel fun. The wheel on a normal track is not, it doesn't have that same bite. It does. And we didn't get enough feedback or clamoring for the wheel all the time. So we stick to the regular stuff. Talk about the guys we like. So what do you say, Roger, get into it.

9:25I love it. Let's do it. Let's do it. Well, I'm going to start with Chase Brisco $9,800 near the top here. I don't know how you can't play Chase Brisco this week because we won this race last year. Okay, sure. You know, did he have a, how was the race now? Well, he led 309 laps on his way to winning this race. So it was pretty good, right? And this was his first race here. I mean, he was here in the spring, obviously last year and actually had a bit of a tough day. But that was before they got settled in at JGR there. And then he comes back and he just dominates this race. And he started outside row one jumps to the lead quickly, swept the stages, leads 309 laps a an old school ass whooping at the track to tough to tame the lady in black. Rod, we haven't met our quota this week. So we're going to get it in. But at this track and he just took her out to dance and had a beautiful night with the lady in black and did just that, lead 309 laps. Then in the 2024 Southern 500 wasn't going to win this at the end of 400 miles, but the

10:28end of 500 he did find himself in victory lane. Of course, that punches playoff ticket is that was the last regular season race in 2024. Only 89 laps on the day, but a solid day. That was with the Stuart Haas, the team that was going away and then to come back and back it up with, you know, really and a true ass whooping last season. That's really all I need for this. And then as you go back and you look through the season, obviously it started out slow for chase, but then they figured it out. They really got things going right and you look back at the most recent intermediate track. We've had this run of different tracks, right? Obviously Daytona here recently, a bunch of short tracks next in there, which he was pre-solid at those two had some great days. You had Atlanta before that. But then prior to that, Chicago was kind of the closest, you know, comp track we were at in he was in there too, but Chicago really and he goes out. He leads 51 laps and he wins at Chicago for a good solid day. You know, Nashville not too long ago, a third place finish, even after starting 31st, he's starting the eight ball still finds his way forward to have good days.

11:31Kansas, the third place run, eighth place of Vegas after starting in 18th early on in the season when they were still struggling. He's been great on the intermediates. Toyota's been dominant. He's won this race two years in a row. I mean, I probably could have stopped the argument there. Only $9,800 when you compare him to a Danny Hamlin at the top of the board. Yes, you loved any hamlin. Yes, you expect them to do good each and every week, but how many times have you played Danny Hamlin as the most expensive driver and it really panned out for this year as much as as good as he's been in a solid is he's been. He's not had these, you know, races where he leads a ton of laps. Sure, he's there at the end, but Chase Brisco has that upside of just leading three hundred nine laps in this race. So going to roll with him $9,800 is my top tier guy. Well, and I love it. And you bring up Danny Hamlin too, sitting up there at $11,000. I mean, Danny Hamlin didn't even get you. He got you the 16th most fantasy points in the spring race earlier. Danny Hamlin, not even in the top 10 in fantasy points in the fall of 2025. Danny Hamlin again, not even in the top 10 in the other.

12:33I mean, he's he's not scoring you fantasy points on this track. He may be finishing well. I, okay, I take that back. He was in the top 10. He was six in drivers points in the spring of 2025. So, you know, Danny Hamlin outside of maybe a couple of instances. Yeah, like you look at it and you're like, Oh, Danny Hamlin, so good. He loves his track and he is and he gets good results. But as you look back and specifically through the 500 mile races, like started on the pole last year, he only led 12 laps. That's, I mean, starting on the pole, I'm sure most people had him in the lineup. And well, it didn't really work out. And then two years ago, he only led 21 laps. Now in 23, he led 177. So he's got that ability. I finished 25th in that race because of the extra 100 miles at the end. But, you know, and he's led this in this race before, but this, we haven't seen a ton of like really just racking up the fantasy point. So not to say don't play Danny Hamlin. I'm not saying that. But I'm just saying when you compare some of these other guys, Chase Briscoe, $9,800, the guy you pick as well, who I also really liked this weekend. I'm looking at going to those guys before I'm looking at, you know, shoving Danny

13:34Hamlin in there while I think we'll get a good result. We just haven't seen the big DFS in DFS in particular, right? If you've got a fantasy game and scores heavily on finishing position and stuff, that's different. But DFS in particular, haven't seen a ton of big Hamlin days this year. And that's exactly why I stayed away from him. And our friends are at I fantasy race. I mean, they've got all of the fantasy points in draft kings that drivers of scored going back all the way through the next gen era. So if you really want to see where your drivers are standing, that's why when I go to DFS, my first pick is to go to I fantasy race.com, go through all the seasons that I can on that particular track and look at the fantasy outputs for these guys because you know, you can look at the average finish and like I'm going to right now with Tyler Reddicking, he's the top guy on the charts when it comes to fan or to a next gen average finishes on this track with 8.7. But does that translate into fantasy points? That's what I want to know, right? I want to know can I count on them for fantasy points? Sure, I can count on them for decent finishes.

14:35But can I count on the fantasy points? And Denny Hamlin, you can't count on him for high fantasy point outputs, especially for the highest price. But Tyler Reddick, like I said, Denny Hamlin, asshole, been loading the sweet. Yeah, I know. Right. That's what we get for trying to prognostic. Tyler Reddick, $10,500 for Tyler Reddick on the DFS streets. And for Tyler Reddick, like I said, this is one of those guys where you're going to pay a lot for him, but he's got the, he's got the upside of a 100.25 day where he started in the poll, finished on the first place there. 80 fastest laps, 77 laps led, got you the single most points in the spring race out there. Tyler Reddick got you 52 points in the Darlington fall race back in 2025, where he got you 52.4, started fourth, finished second, had 17 fast laps, led three laps. Tyler Reddick got you the third most points in the spring of 2025 at 63.4, started seventh, finished fourth, had 22 fast laps, led 42 laps.

15:38Tyler Reddick did let you down in the fall of 2024, but he still catch a 34.3 points, started six finish 10th, only had nine fast laps, only led one lap as well. Tyler Reddick fourth overall in 2024 in the spring race, the one of the fourth highest fantasy getters, second highest in 2023 was 77 points in that particular race consistently for the most part, a top five getter second most in the fall of 2023, right? And we're talking about this fall race. We're talking about the extra 100 miles. Doesn't matter Tyler Reddick, he's still able to get it done for you fantasy wise, even 46 points in the fall of 2022. So $10,500. If I'm going to get anywhere between 70 to maybe high 40s out of Tyler Reddick, I'll take it when I'm not getting that out of Denny Hamlin weekend and week out, right? I know I'm going to I know that I'm going to get somewhere between 45 and 70 points with Tyler Reddick. That is a known quantity because he's done it just about every single race, whether it's fall, whether it's spring, whether it's, you know, whatever year it's been,

16:41Tyler Reddick's been producing that. So I like the consistency of a guy that I know is going to lead laps. He's going to start somewhat better than he finishes or if he doesn't finish better, then at least a couple spots off towards not going to kill you too much. So yeah, Tyler Reddick huge DFS play on this track. He'd probably be popular, but for good reason, if people are paying attention. Yeah, I'll be kind of interested to see where he's at as far as roster should because there's been quite a few weeks over the last two months that he's kind of let you down big time, right? And had some some big stinkers, you know, wrecked on lap three at Iowa, some other things like that. But he's also put together some decent races. And this is just a track and a race where he seems to show up each and every year. So, you know, when we get to to this place and for this race. So I like it. I'll back you on it. Beautiful. All right. Well, we didn't have well. We had some high price, but we could still say people some money so they can fit some other folks in their code. He's our mid to your drivers of choice. Yeah, stick on the higher side of the mid tier with a guy at $8100.

17:43And that's Ross Chastain. Not a guy we talked about on the betting episode, which I was trying to find a way to work him onto that episode, but I just couldn't because he's a guy that kind of popped in my research for again, the Southern 500 in particular where he's been pretty solid. You can act the last season, ran up front all day long, fourth in stage one, sixth in stage two, let three laps, a couple laps, right? He started in sixth place, finished 11th place, a nice solid day for you. 2024 in this race started 22nd, finished in fifth place, 2023, started 27th, finished in fifth place. So the last three years in a row, really good solid runs for him in this race. The 2022 race was 22 or hold on. Oh, I can't, I can't read as weird. It's again, it's been a week. 2022 is not great. He finished 20th year one in next year and you're going to track house, you know, not going to hold that against him too much, but even 2021 in the chipkin assie car, a third place

18:44finish that's starting 23rd. So this race kind of speaks to him as far as the extra distance and kind of getting it done. Now it's been real rough for Chastain lately. And so that's probably going to steer people away from him, which I kind of like, right? 24th of the day, Tony 36 in New Hampshire, 12th of Richmond, 7th of Iowa, those were decent runs, but 23rd at any 27th at North Wilkesboro popped up for the 11th at Atlanta. Overall though, not a ton of great weeks from him. Certainly, Polkano was the seventh place run or eighth place run rather. So it was a decent day. Then it's off season. He missed the playoffs, which are the chase, I guess, which is a bit tough for him, but that's where I guess we'll see, right? Which way does that go? Some teams are going to kind of check out because they missed the playoffs. They're out of it. Other teams. Chastain would fall into this bucket. They're going to get creative. They're going to try and be different, call different strategy. They're not that they're not racing for anything. You still want to kind of be the next, you know, best to the rest, finish 17th or whatever, owners points, all that still matters.

19:45But now that the chase is done and over with and we're not getting into it, it can be more aggressive. We can go try to win this race. We can call some different shots. That maybe he doesn't win, but maybe that puts him up front. He leads a portion of this race like you did at Iowa, right? And that race at Iowa, they called strategy, got him out front and he just stayed out front for a bucket. Ever he did. He was just, he was out there all day long. It seemed like I was out there race. It was a long time that he was leading that race and up front and he ended up leading, uh, what do you have 40 laps, but it seemed a lot longer than that. But still, might find themselves in that position this week. He's really gotten good finishes in this race, the majority of the time. That's what I'm looking for. Give me some Ross Chastain at a cool 80 100 dollars. Yeah, and that's the thing we've talked about this several times over over the course of the show to when we talk about the NASCAR post season, one of the rare post seasons out there where everybody is involved during the post season and it's not just a select group of teams. So you can win a race and not even be close to, uh, winning a championship.

20:46And so, you know, that's, that's like guys like, Ross Chastain, like you said, those are the, that's the way they operate. They can go out and still win a race and winning a race just because you're not in the chase doesn't take it away from winning a race. Like they still want to win races. Not why they're out there just running around going, okay, well, I'm just not out there. Ross Chastain wants to win no matter where he's at. So love that. John Little's trying to squeeze Zane Smith into a lineup. We'll help you squeeze Zane Smith into a line up. I'm always trying to squeeze Zane Smith and the line up to John Torrey. Zane Smith trying to squeeze Zane Smith into lineups. But, um, all right. I talked about the consistency of Tyler Rettick, especially on this track. How about Austin Cindrick $7,200? Allow me, if you will, to reduce some Austin Cindrick, uh, fantasy points over the last few races this spring. He got you 48.25. Fantastic, right? That's a great output day. The year before that or actually the fall race of 25, he got you 29.45, 27 in the spring of 2025, 28 in the fall of 2024, 28 in the spring of 2024.

21:49Then he got you minus seven in the fall of 2023. Whoops. Then he got you minus seven in the, uh, oh, that's the same, uh, same race. Then he got you 30.45. So I mean, this guy's super consistent. You can pretty much bank on at least 28 points out of Austin Cindrick at this track, you know, short of a couple of outliers, that minus seven day, uh, where he got you in the fall of 2023 and the 17.9 that he got you in the fall of 2022. But if you know that a guy is going to get you 28 points, he's $7,200, right? You do the math of where that's at. That's like, uh, four, three, four, four, at least four times what you're paying for him, uh, that you're going to get out of him. Like that's a good solid mid tier guy with some 48 point upside, right? That's, that's actually a pretty good day for that as well. So I mean, look for me, Austin Cindrick, when you look at his average finishes here, 14th overall on the board. And when you start sliding into these middle tiers, that's what you're looking for.

22:49You don't, you know, you're not going to get elite output out of a guy at $7,200. Hopefully you do. Hopefully you get 48 points because that's a hell of a day. But if you can get that four times your investment on a guy, that's exactly what you want, right? Finishes of 18th, 16th, 19th, 31, 20th, 13th, 11th, 12th, and then 5th, right? So actually, you know, if you look, those numbers just continue to go up as the years progress, you want 20, 13, 11, 12, 5th, I like the trend, right? He's a trend. Well, and that's really him everywhere. He is getting better. You know, we talk a lot about tie gives, got to that point and now he's he's busted through and and Cindrick's been a little bit more of a late bloomer, but and I mean, he won his first career, well, not his first career star, but his first start of his rookie season with the 500, but, but he has progression has gotten better and better. He's obviously not quite to the level of his teammates, but, you know, while he was hanging with Joey in the points for a long time this season, till Joey figured it out, but he's been better and better. I talked about him in the betting episode fully endorsed this play.

23:51I really like really, really like Austin Cindrick this week. Yeah, another guy in the chase as well. So you know, he's going to be hanging around the front because they need all the points they can get as well. So whether it's through strategy, whether it's through speed, whatever, you know, the finish is going to have to be there. So at least you got that base level of points. And then whatever else decides if he's got some fast labs, if he actually improved on his position or if he ends up winning this race, who the hell knows, you're going to benefit from that as well. So, um, that's right. John Little. John Little checking in says, uh, don't forget about that Jones boy, Eric Jones, Decent and Darlington, didn't make the cut on the sheet here because we just don't have enough time or room to do it. But I, and I wanted to highlight Chastain since in the mid to your guys because I hadn't got a chance to, but Eric Jones, go back to listen to the betting episode, talk to him up. And then, uh, I think I'm going to have to go back to the board's camp and podcast.com. I are weekly betting article wrote about Eric Jones in there as well. Really, really love Eric Jones as a fantasy play this week. I believe I need to check. I think I've saved him and all my one and done pools to play this week.

24:52This is Eric Jones week. So, um, always a guy that, uh, that you want to highlight in this race and particularly Darlington, yes, but the Southern 500 in particular. Indeed. Uh, Willow wants to know, do we make a lot of money playing in DFS? I'll, I'll be truthful with you, Willow. I don't, I don't, I don't play a lot of high stake stuff. Like I'm, I'm sorry. I, I'm not a day bro. I'm not a day trader. I can't, I can't plop down thousands of dollars on some GP and, you know, I'm, I don't get paid that much to do this. Willow. No, I'm a recreation player like most people are. Yeah. It, I think everybody plays different. And I think that just knowing your way to play, right? I, and, and mine really kind of just depends on what's going on. Like if I start getting on a hot streak and things are rolling well, I'll, I'll play more and branch out more, right? But I'm more play cash games, your 50, 50 stuff, just kind of trying, you know, I like to just throw the stuff in. And in occasionally, I'll go do the 150 lineup stuff, but I don't know.

25:52That's just not quite my style. I'm more of a, I guess casual DFS player, if you will, but everybody's got their different ways. And, and I don't think that any of them are wrong, no matter how you play. And it's just like anything else, manage it, prop, manage, you know, manage your budget appropriately. And, and you're going to have, you know, there's been those big days where the lineup hits perfect. And you only had in a couple of contests, but you cash out big and it's great. And, and again, I find doing the 50, 50, double up stuff is the best way to keep that budget rolling all year long, which is nice. But everybody's got their own way. And, and, you know, whether you're a big stake player or a small stake player, we're here for everybody. And the base is already filled with enough people that are trying to, to be professionals. I just want to be and have fun. Like I want you guys to have fun. We're whole thing. The whole part of the show is to, is to make is have fun. Yeah. John says they'll take you. And John's pretty good at our, we have our weekly, you know, and that's, that's part of we, again, part of our motto here is trying to keep it fun and light.

26:53And, and, you know, so we do the $5 contest every week for the discord. You get quite a few people entered in that, which so it ends up being a nice, it's a winner take also if you hit the lineup right that week. Boom, you know, you can hit it and then we do it for F1, we do it for trucks and a Riley too. So, kind of just have to have fun there. Well, then let's start to squeeze some low price drivers into these lineups so that we can save people even more money to have a little more fun at the top. Oh, God. My button was working like everything else this week. Things just not working. But I know, John mentioned a little bit ago that he likes Zane Smith this week. What about his teammate? Really, this whole team I kind of like. But no, Gregson's kind of been decent cheap play for us. We brought him up a ton recently on the show. Always been paying off. He's $5,400. Just go back through his race log here lately. 36 points last week at Daytona 43.9 points in New Hampshire. 42 points at Richmond, 25.8 points at Iowa, 31 points at the brickyard, 400, 26 points

29:03at North Wilkesboro, 25.4 points at Atlanta, 20 points the week before. Yeah, then there was a couple that weren't so great. But overall, it's been a pretty solid season. And like he's had some really good weeks, you know, 20.9 points that we were here earlier this year at Darlington. He's just been running extremely well and getting, you know, he doesn't ever start well. And that's, that's what's really nice about Noah Gregson to be honest in DFS because, you know, 37th last week he goes to 26. The week before was 19th to 10th, 35th to 18th, even 15th to 17th. It's not the end of the world. Like that's, you know, it feels like, ah, he's starting, he's starting in 15th. Like how much upside does he have at Iowa? But when he finishes 17th, he loses a couple spots. He's still 25.8 points. This is a good day for you for Noah Gregson. And so I was kind of interested in, you think of Noah Gregson. You're like, hmm, he's a type of guy that can make it the 500 miles route because, yeah, now he's not the most in shape guy. I feel that, right? But last year he started in 34th, finished in 14th place.

30:05That was his first year. Or while his first, why didn't he run the, oh, oh, no one. That was the year he was out of the ride, wasn't it? Yeah, well, yeah, there was, yeah, there was a time where he missed. But last year his first year with front row motorsports, 34th to 14th. So great, great finish there. The last year with Stuart Hossie got caught up in a wreck and didn't have a good run there. So those are the only two that he's run here in the 500s. We don't have a ton to look at, obviously, but great results. Last year you love to see that should start not well, which you love to see as well. 19th of the spring of 25 here, even 30th to 26th earlier this year isn't terrible. 36 to 14th in May of 2024. So his body work here recently got reupped for another year, been running better. And he's been just kind of a key guy for us here in DFS lately. So get a keep rolling with it. Give me no a graxon in the number four car. And he'll check in at a nice cheap $5,400.

31:05Good stuff. Yeah, he's definitely one of those guys where I think people are going to know about him and try to play him, but not as many people as we would think. And that's an edge you can get when he runs well. So all right, well, going with Gilligan, $5,600 for Todd Gilliland. Again, I cannot stress to you how important I fantasy race is when I come and I start looking at DFS plays for individual tracks because it's one thing to look back and go, oh, okay, well, yeah, the finishes are there. But then it's another to see the DFS points that are produced by these guys and to see these patterns in these trends. And you're like, oh, well, that's eye opening because Todd Gilliland, right, get you 27 points in the spring of 2020, 2026. So 27.9 points this spring. Again, I tell you his price is $5,600. And for $5,600 guys, right, we're looking at guys like Chad Finchham, Cody Ware, Ty Dillon, Cole Custer, Ricky Stanhouse, right? No, a graxon is one, but he's been trending up lately. Like I said, AJ Almendinger, who we love, right, Connor Zillage, who Cody talked about.

32:09Not necessarily great for DFS, Michael McDowell, who on this track has not necessarily been the greatest, but you get 27 points out of a guy that's $5,600 behind him. Michael McDowell, Cole Custer, all like 22 points. You know, he looked at Ty Dillon, who we talked about 15.9 points. Cody Ware got you three points. So all those guys in that range do not have that output, but that's great, right? That was in the spring. Fantastic. Well, what about in the fall? Well, he got you 20.25 in the fall of 2025, which is good. Then he turned around to get you 27.45 points in the spring of 2025. But then in the fall of 2024, he gets you the 10th overall highest output in fantasy at 44.25 started 33rd, finished in 17. That five fast laps, Todd Gillin got you 30 points in the spring of 2024. Todd Gillin got you 20 points in the fall of 2023. You see where I'm going with this, right? Todd Gillin, a 20 point output in the fall of 2023. 25 in the 2023 spring race.

33:12Again, Todd Gillin continues to produce fantasy points. I've not read a negative number in the entirety of this. And at $5,600, you expect some of that negative outcome or finishes that are completely poor, but you haven't gotten that out of Todd Gillin on this particular track. So kind of a sleeper cell in Todd Gillin this week in DFS. I'm hoping. A lot of people are going to not be on him. 19th overall high is finished, but priced in the bottom third of the entirety of the slate. So yeah, give me Todd Gillin, $5,600. Yeah, this whole front row team really. I mean, Zane Smith too. We didn't bring him up in one of our two picks, but I think that all three of them, you can really look at it. I forgot to mention, Rod, over the last seven races here, Noah Gregson, only 0.8 positions worse than average finished than Kyle Larson. So shout out to Gregson for getting it done. To say we're going to talk about that in a second. I know you would mention it in the comments to our friends as far as what our plans were

34:14for today. Hunter was checking in says, I don't even like DFS, just like to watch the support. We appreciate that. And again, like betting purposes and there's people I know that listen to the show that don't even bet on it. They just like to know what to look for, who to watch and whatever. And we try to be somewhat entertaining, mostly Rod, but occasionally I'll chip in. But was also asking about IndyCar picks IndyCar season finale this week. Obviously, we had the show got pushed back to Friday and said the Thursday and their qualifying right now. So there's not even any odds out. So we don't have any IndyCar picks on the show this week, but stay tuned, discord, YouTube shorts, something like that. We'll get, we'll certainly get some picks out. When markets are back, maybe after qualifying, do a little different this week. We're always going to have a little action on it. But yeah, just unfortunately with the timing of the show and everything, we weren't able to sneak in the IndyCar picks before they disappeared. And then it's kind of like, well, you might not see those again after practice and whatnot.

35:14Yeah. So yeah, just keep an eye out. We'll put stuff on the YouTuber on the Facebook page as well for plays for IndyCar. I'm sure we'll come up with something after odds get posted. So all right. So instead of IndyCar plays, we will come back and we'll give you some underdog fantasy plays as we'd like to do before in a world before we were doubling up on open wheel stuff. 40:42The paint schemes really, really got broke out this week. It's probably hard to pick just six guys for your lineup. So I'll have to check out where they went. But some really great paint schemes this week, which is always exciting. I agree. I agree. Okay. Underdog fantasy. If you are brand new to underdog and underdog pick them, they give us the drivers. They give us their finishing projections. And we simply say whether or not we think they will finish better than or worse than error. In some cases, you only get the better than on these, which is essentially a top 10 play. So yeah, we like to go and scout out our favorite ones and give them to you. And we'll do that again this week. We will do just that, Rod. And I'm going to start with one Ryan Blaney who has been pretty solid this year, if you will. Yeah. So I'm going to take Ryan Blaney and get his better than at 7.5, which I think is a great number for him. Now he doesn't necessarily completely check the grade in the Southern 500 race box that

41:42I like. 18th last year in this race, 37th got into an early wreck in 2024. But prior to that, 913 place finishes. So not terrible runs. Has been really good here in the spring. But in this spring, 5th place are in the spring of 2025. So you do like those things. But when you think of Ryan Blaney, you think of the type of guy who's going to be able to go that extra mile, right? He liked that about him. The pit crew change happened earlier this week. I think it's huge. Getting Austin, Cinder, X Pit Crew and sending that crew to the two car instead. I think it's going to be big because that's been what shot him in the foot all season long. We know how great a season has been. Obviously, it's been a really strong season. Last week of Daytona, it's Daytona. But Wednesday, New Hampshire, 13th, Richmond, 3rd place at Iowa had a great day there. They're at 129 laps. Had that dominating win at Atlanta not too long ago. Chicago, kind of our recent intermediate track has a seventh place finish there with a good day. I know the JDK is probably listening, checking in.

42:43He's going to tell us about the struts or whatever they change. It's going to make toward cars suddenly be just as fast as the Toyota's. But Ryan Blaney, just the guy you can trust. That's what I'm looking for this weekend. Give me Ryan Blaney better than 7.5. You know I cannot argue with Ryan Blaney. He old, he miss himself, just licking carbon fiber and turning in top five finishes. That's what Ryan Blaney does. Absolutely love it. All right, somebody who hasn't been producing as well on this track in particular. Now granted, this driver that I'm about to talk about is coming off of not 30th place for the 31st place at Daytona. Okay. I'm going to say a fifth place allowed in six place at Richmond. Couple of good finishes, but it's been marred by 33rd at Iowa 39th at Indie 15th at North Wilkesboro 34th at Atlanta 34th at Chicago. What a terrible run for one young money Kyle Larson is. Not going to get any better this weekend. If you look at Darlington kids, Darlington, so you know, like I said, I fantasy race and

43:44they're literally not paying me to do this. I just this is what I use because it's so easy to look at. When you look at the average finishes and their little greens and stuff like that, you got to scroll down. Yeah, first need to scroll down. Good, good, good. You scroll down more. Then you scroll down to 23rd overall and average finishes and that's Kyle Larson. 36th, 12th, 20th. He won this race. Hooray. 34th, fourth place. Cool, but 37th, 19th, 32nd for a cool 21.7 average finish at Darlington. It's just not good. And they've given us a seven and a half for Kyle Larson in finishing position. Twice, I read you a number that was better than seven and a half in the nine races in the next gen era. And if we want to get technical twice, did I read you a number that was better than seven over the last, what did I say? Like nine races in total in this entire or last seven races in this total season. It has not been fun for Kyle Larson.

44:44Obviously earlier this season, he started fourth and finishing 30 seconds at this race. So I mean, that was a stretch there where he was finishing well. Fourth, Michigan, fifth, the Polkano, third, San Diego, fourth, the Sonoma, a couple of road course races. Did you expect that out of them? But like I said, ever since Chicago, let's just been a nose dive for Captain shook. Yes. Unfortunately, the title is carrying on and like I said, it's not going to get any better this week at Darlington because he's just not that strong at this race track for whatever reason. Up and win a race, of course, but we haven't seen that out of him lately. Well, he's got that ability anytime, right? To just jump up and have a dom. I mean, like it wouldn't be that shocking if he goes out and pulls a chase brisco leads 300 laps wins this race. And you're like, Oh, okay, that's the Kyle Larson. We know. And at one point loved, but also an extra 100 miles gives him more time to step on and make mistakes. Just it's not been the same. He's got the second. I saw I think it was Daniel says, but it's tweeted out the. Inless streaks for all the chase drivers, right?

45:46And Ryan Priest at the bottom of the board to the zero. But Kyle Larson was a second only to Chris Bush or 50 races now that winless streak is. And it's just been a tough time for him. So yeah, I'll back you on this. He's just, you know, as much as you trust Orion Blaney, you trust some of these other guys, Kyle Larson can't be trusted, especially with extra time to run out of talent or step on it or whatever you want to call it and go Captain shook on you. So you know, when when players come back after injury, right? And you just sort of have to coach yourself back in this week has been that week. Well, and you know, maybe not our best week, but we're also here 52 weeks out of the year. I mean, we don't take any time off from the show really like you'll miss some shows occasionally because you're working with the army, right? But and then I'm I miss the recap this week and stuff occasionally, but we we pretty much give it our all here. So you know, bear with us and again, hopefully the picks work out and then it will all make it better. So pick, I really love this week. The car left Willow. You listen. It's our guy Tyrone Gibbs. That's right.

49:58We're going to take him better than 10.5. Of course, we are because what's he done in this race, right? It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter anything he's done in the past because that's not matter this season. But something I will take from the past is he's been good here in the spring race. So he knows how to do it on this track. Sixth earlier this spring, a good run there. Ninth place, the spring of 25, a second place run at 34 laps in the spring of 2024. So knows how to be good on this track. Right now hasn't put it together in the 500 mile race, but he hasn't been the 2026 version of tie Gibbs in the 500 mile race yet. Now we get that this year. All year long, he's shown us over and over again, speeding penalty, slow pit stop. This problem, that problem doesn't end their day. Put this helmet, puts the visor down, eyes forward and it gets the job done. He works his way back to the front, gets you consistent finishes. Talked earlier this week as part of the car lift. You can get us top 10 and then again, you're getting the projection at 10.5 here.

50:58It just it doesn't make sense to me. I get there still has a 10 on tie Gibbs. I don't know if you've noticed. I'm not hesitant on tie Gibbs haven't been for a while. But there's no reason to be kid is good. Gets it done weekend and week out back to these intermediates where this team and these cars have had a lot of success this year. I think the extra 100 miles the last couple of years has not been good for him. We often times stay away from younger drivers who haven't been through that. Now he's been through it a few times. We know he can be good here. We've seen him put it together on the figure it out earlier this season stuff. Combine those two things together. I think we're going to have a top 10 run out of tie Gibbs this week better than 10.5. Tie Gibbs is the driver of the number 54 monster Toyota for Joe Gibbs racing. There you go. I did that bits never get old because I'm contractually obligated to say it each and every time you your it's your full tie Gibbs nation that I have to keep saying that every time. All right. Somebody I don't have to hold back on is Josh Barry.

52:00Better than 10 and a half. Josh Barry has been better than 10 and a half in each of his last five races. In fact to be more specific ninth place in Daytona third place allowed an eighth place originally fourth place in Iowa seventh place in Indianapolis. Josh Barry trying very hard to pass the interview with legacy motor club is that that ride is looming large for him that 42 car possibility and what better way to do it then to just continue to just sweep out top 10 finish as improved the your top 10 driver in equipment that is not as good as legacy. I don't know. You can probably say that they're comparable at this point legacy and wood brothers because of the way that it's been driving. Again, right. This is all about Josh Barry just going out and saying, well, I'm going to audition for this legacy motor club car and get it done there. I do like that. On this track in particular, it's not necessarily been his best track, but I'm throwing all of that out. He does have a third place finish in this in the spring of 2024.

53:03There's one bright green spot in the middle of a bunch of red, but this is a different stretch for Josh Barry now. This is a I'm not in the chase. I'm not in the 21. I'll give a rat's ass. I'm just going to go out and run my race and finish inside of the top 10 every single week like I have been whether it's a super speedway, whether it's a short track, whether it's, you know, a dirt track. I don't care. Literally don't care what's going on around me. I'm a top 10 driver. I'm going to prove it to Jimmy Johnson. I'm going to get that 42 right next year and I'm going to make this underdog fantasy pick actually a good pick. So 2.57 times, by the way, your, your pick entry on that one. So you'll double up whatever you put in there and that multiplier continues to grow. But yeah, Josh Barry just, he's done it five times. I think he'll do it a sixth. You get those multipliers in there. You get a couple of those put together and it really jumps up the overall multiplier really quickly, which is nice. I don't like how much we've talked about Josh Barry this week because it always scares me with him, but he's deserved it lately.

54:06And I know it's so hard to be in the moment with all the short tracks. We've had lately, obviously, of course, he's been good. Can he carry that momentum? And we do think and we've talked for a long time about momentum and how it does matter. And also racing for his, you know, racing career at this point. It appears that him going to, you know, doing his thing at the short tracks might have worked out where he's probably getting that 42 ride. So needs to have another good week this week to kind of continue to show, you know, okay, Jimmy is saying, well, I've seen it. I've seen the short tracks. What can you do at 7500? Go out and show seven time. What you can do here. So I do actually really like the Austin Cinderc play this week. Jake getting caught up on the show rod. Once enough, there's any Austin Cinderc love this week. There is talked about him on the betting episode. Brought him up over there points out the four straight top 13 finishes. I gave him out for a top 10 over there and Rod earlier this episode gave him out as his mid tier guy at $7200 for the DFS portion of things. So certainly Austin Cinderc a guy that's been quietly good at this track in both races,

55:10the the 400 and 500 mile or so guy to keep an eye on somebody that's also been good in both races. Chris Bush or you can get him better than 11.5. Really love him this week, Rod, because he's been getting it done on this track time and time again. Go back through his last seven starts here, Rod. Ninth place finish in the spring race. Ninth place last fall, six place in the spring of 25, six in the spring of 24. I did have a tough spring race here in May of 24. He actually led 21 laps. Seventh in both stages started third. I believe that was the run in with Tyler Reddick, which ended up in the, you know, neither of them finishing that race very well. So that's kind of his one blemish. But before that in the 500, three third place finish, a tenth place finish in May of 23. That's his last seven races here. One more slip up in, you know, the first year of the next generation race with the 26. But before that, 16th, ninth, ninth, he's been really good at this race track and this race even back in the early JTG days.

56:12So let's go all the way back all the way back to his front row motor sports days. He's the 34 car for them in 2016. Seventh place in his first start in the Southern 500. Then he comes back in in 2017 in the JTG Dorety car. Seventh place comes back in 2018. Still in the JTG car. Twelve place. He is liked this track since the very beginning, like this race since the very beginning. Although I'm trying to remember where this was. Those races, the Southern 500s. Yeah, they were. I can remember. I know it's one point the Southern 500 went away, but it's been back for a while. So yeah, those were all Southern 500 races. Been good here for a long time. Gets it done continually. Been great down the stretch at this track lately and getting about 11.5. What he's going to do is finish on the top 11. The busher upside is much higher than that. So love this. Give me Chris Boucher better than 11.5. I love it. And I also love his car owner Brad keselowski or bread K as we better know him. Look, this is set at 13.5 for bread K.

57:12I'm definitely taking the better than this is 2.6 or 2.06 times your investment on this one. But for Brad keselowski again, our friends over at I fantasy race have him as the sixth. He's tied actually what's funny is tied with Chris Boucher. We also talk about RFK being together on the track. Well, they're together an average finish on this one. Chris Boucher and Brad keselowski both 12.9 in average finish on this track. If you think Chris Boucher is capable of 11th place finish or better. Well, it stands to reason that Brad keselowski also capable of a 13th place or better finish. Brad keselowski on this track 34th in the spring of 22. 7th, 4th, 6th and 1st in the following races. Then 14th and the follow 24, 33rd and 15th. But runner up in the spring in this race. Brad keselowski has also done well for himself over the last few weeks. 14th at Daytona. It's Daytona. You kind of brush that off. 11th at Loudon. 6th at Indy 7th at North Wilkesboro. Some good runs there as well. 13th at Texas.

58:126th at Kansas. 13th at Martinsville. And then like I said, that runner up at Darlington 10th place in Las Vegas. So ovals, right? Those intermediates that are good. These RFK boys stick together. If he stays glued to Chris Boucher's bumper, then he's on his way to at least a 13th place finish, if not better than that. So Brad keselowski really really love his upside this week. So give me a better than 13 and a half on on underdog. You can certainly be a scary guy to trust, but you're getting that 2.06 times. So again, in the overall multiplier, that kind of helps boost a little bit and make you feel a little better about an And, you know, his is even set at 10. His is a set of 13.5. So you get those couple extra bumper positions, which is nice with keselowski. So no argument for me on that one. It should be a top 13 car. So all right, get out to pen and paper. We're going to go over our picks from this episode. Our underdog fantasy picks for this. Actually, do we have the DFS? We do have the DFS. Oh, there it is.

Went down to Austin, Cydric, $7,200 for my mid-tier driver. And then took Todd Gilliland at $5,600 as my low price driver. Cody gave you a chase, brisco at $9,800. As his high price driver, Ross Chastain, $8,100. Here's mid-tier driver, Noah Gratzon, $5,400 for his low price driver. And then for underdog, I gave you, or actually Cody, gave you Ryan Blaney better than 7 1 1 2 half tie Gibbs better than 10 1 1 2 crisp busher, better than 11 1 2. I said, Kyle Larson would be worse than 7 1 1 2 half, Josh Barry, better than 10 1 1 2 1 2, Brad Kizowski, better than 13 1 1 2 at this Southern 500. The cookout Southern 500 at Tarleton, Cody. I can't wait to watch this race because that means that I'm done talking for the week. I don't know that I've done a very good job.

1:00:13That's going to be a fun week in College Football in full form tomorrow on Saturday. Last week in the Indy car, we got F1 in action, O'Reilly Cup. Love to see it going to be a fun week. By the way, you put all six of our underdog plays in together, Brad. 57 times your entry fee. And they are very liberal with their boosts over there. They just, they give out boosts like Oprah Winfrey. Like you get a boost and you get a boost and you get a boost. I got boosts for everything. So I did use a 30% boost I had over there. And that took it to 74.21 times. So yeah, pretty nice little entry over there. I'll make up for a bad week of show. Hey, it'll make up for a definitely, it'll definitely make up for that for sure.
