In Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, he took gloved punches from Brandon Hagel, who got two roughing penalties and a $5,000 fine for being the aggressor.

Dallin also got slashed on the skates by Braden Point and challenged to a fight by Darren Radish.

The matchup was wild, with Buffalo pulling out an 8-7 win amid five fights, 28 penalties, and 102 penalty minutes.

Even with all that chaos, the 25-year-old defenseman scored a goal and added two assists.

Coach Lindy Ruff said it looked like Dalen was being targeted, and fans are noticing too.

He's become one of the league's top penalty drawers among defensemen, leading with 26 last year and 154 since his debut in 2018.

This isn't new for Dallin. Last week, Pittsburgh's Evgini Malcolm got a five-game suspension for slashing him in the head.

Earlier incidents include Florida's Brad Marchand attacking him and Toronto's Austin Matthews cross-checking his face, earning a two-game ban.

Dallin stays cool about it, calling it part of the game while helping Buffalo push for playoffs and putting himself in the Norris trophy mix as a top.
