Dem Senate Hopeful Caves After Criticizing Party on Trans Issues

First, Jim and Greg examine today's Michigan Democratic U.S. Senate primary, where DSA-backed Abdul El-Sayed is now expected to defeat Rep. Haley Stevens. They explain why an El-Sayed victory could improve Republican Mike Rogers' chances in November, while also exploring the major political consequences if El-Sayed ultimately wins the Senate seat.

Next, they discuss a new study warning that the U.S. supply of missile interceptors is shrinking and could take years to replenish. With Iran constantly shifting from diplomacy to missile strikes and back, how long can the U.S. stay on its current course?

Then, they slam Rep. Moulton for his groveling on trans issues. After the Republican wins in 2024, Moulton said he did not want his daughters getting run over by male or formerly male athletes. In last night's U.S. Senate debate, he apologized and promised always to be a staunch defender of trans activists. Jim says the Democrats have learned nothing.

Finally, they react to longtime Democratic strategist James Carville saying he cannot stay in the same party as Hasan Piker. While Piker is worse than Carville, Jim explains that Carville's threat isn't all that significant.
