Welcome to the Armani Talks podcast, a mere host, Armani Talks. In this podcast, I'm helping you level up your 5 soft skills, public speaking, storytelling, social dynamics, emotional intelligence and creativity. 5 soft skills, where you do change your life forever, skyrocket your confidence along the way. Until this episode, I'm going to be talking about whether or not it's normal to feel worried. Is it normal? Yes. Absolutely. I feel worried a lot. But what I would recommend for someone who is trying to level up in their lives is to not articulate your worries too much to other people. And one of the reasons for that is because the more that you keep articulating the same worry over and over again, the more that it becomes destiny. Now, I'm not one of these guys that says you should never talk about mental health. I think you should be able to talk about it whether you are a woman or if you are a man. But the point still remains, there are going to be certain moments in your life that are
big. You need to focus on it wholeheartedly with the right spirit. For example, with a speech that's coming up, you could easily be one of those guys that is talking about how worried you are. You keep discussing it from different angles and it's not helping you. Instead, it's making you more worried. In situations like this, I recommend that you feel the feelings. Physically feel all of the feelings that you possibly can. And whenever you need to articulate something, articulate it in a positive way. You can worry after the event has been done. Now, you may think, worry after the event has been done. What are you talking about, our money? I only worry before an event. Exactly. Once you are done with the event, you will see that you are blowing things way out of proportion. And now you have no reason to worry anymore. This is the cheat code. I'm not saying don't ever worry again, but for big life moments where you need to do it
with the right spirit, do it with the right spirit, quit articulating your worries out loud. Thank you very much for joining me and I'll catch you next time.
