Eagles Trade Sydney Brown to Falcons

Philadelphia has traded safety Sydney Brown to the Atlanta Falcons and a swap of late-round

draftics.

The Eagles landed picks number 114 and 197, while Atlanta picked up number 122 and number

2.

115 along with Brown.

Brown enters the final year of his rookie deal, carrying a base salary of 1 million

$484,000 and a cap hit of 1 million $829,000.

The 25-year-old, who turns 26 this Saturday, spent three seasons in Philly after they drafted

him in the third round back in 20, 23.

He suited up for 42 games with nine starts.

Last season, Brown played all 17 games, starting three times while logging 22% of defensive

snaps and 76% on.

He finished with 86 tackles, two interceptions, five passes defense, and two forced fumbles.

Meanwhile, Atlanta gets a boost at safety, where DeMarco Helms has been limited to just

11 games over three injury-played years.

This shuffle gives both teams fresh assets heading into the draft.
