But if we can focus on the good, on the best,
what can we do right now to be a little bit better?
It doesn't have to be great, just even a little bit better.
If we can do that every single day,
life will get better and we'll achieve more,
we'll do more and we'll have a lot more fun along the way.
So that would be my last message to everybody here.
And I appreciate you having me on.

Hello and welcome Inspired Podcast Community.
This is your new episode.
My name is Caroline.
With me is Celeste.
And our today's interview guest is Brian Proctor.
Hello and welcome.
Hello, Caroline.
We're very, very happy to be here with you today.
Oh, thank you so much for accepting our invitation.
Brian Proctor, we know each other.
We were Facebook friends and I just reached out and asked you
if you accept my invitation to be our guest today.
This is amazing.
Brian Proctor, of course.
Yes, and I-
Here we are.
Yeah, I talked, we just talked about your book.
My father knew the secret.
The father bought Proctor, of course.
And I would like to introduce yourself a little bit.
Yes, thank you.
As you mentioned, I've written a book.
My father knew the secret, growing up with Bob Proctor.
And I released it about six months ago.
It's been very, very well received, which has been wonderful.
I really come from a marketing background.
I worked with my father for close to 30 years until he passed away.
And so I was really instrumental in building our email database,
delivering content to bring new people to follow him.
And since his passing, really, I've just kind of focused in
on getting that book finished, getting it out to the world.
And really sharing a perspective of who my father, Bob Proctor,
was from a unique point of view, from his son.
So I really share who he was, not the man on the stage,
but the private man, and what he was all about.
Yes, thank you.
I'm reading it now, and I'm at that chapter where you describe how-
Can I say playful and funny?
He was laughing all the time, and you describe a scene
where you had to barbecue in the garden.
Something like that, a party, a celebration.
And I love it so much, because I can use my imagination
and see you in that scene.
This is wonderful.
This is inspiring.
My father, yes, he loved having barbecues in the backyard
with all the family around.
He was a great father.
He was a great grandfather.
And towards the end, he was a great grandfather.
So he has lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
OK, and my first question now is, what inspires you?
You know, that's a, I've never been asked that directly.
You know what Carolyn, what inspires me
is really carrying on the message of my father.
You know, I worked with him for so long
and saw what he did out in the world.
And I didn't want that to be lost.
I mean, I realized you can go to YouTube and see a lot on him.
But what inspires me is just kind of carrying on his message
and watching how that can change lives.
When I wrote the book, I wrote it in a way that would help people,
that would show people that we're all capable of being more,
doing more.
And that's what inspires me is whatever I can do to change
somebody's life, even if it's just a little bit for the better.
And I think, gosh, if we can all live that way,
I think we're going to live in a better world.
Yes, that's true.
And it doesn't take long if, yeah, if everyone is committed,
then we can transform the whole world within one or two weeks.
I'm sure.
And we are on the same mission.
So thank you so much.
And I also love the title of the book,
my father knew the secret.
And that refers, of course, to Ronda Burns' book, The Secret.
And I saw him, I saw Bob Proctor in the film in the movie.
And Ronda Burns got it from Robert Collier's book, The Secret
of the Ages, and Wallace D. Wallace's book, of course, as well.
Yes, it is mentioned.
So my next question is, who inspired you?
Oh, well, that's easy.
That would be my father.
I had a unique relationship with him.
We weren't just father and son.
We were also best friends, business partners.
He really inspired me to be and do so much more.
One of the things I mentioned in the beginning of the book
and at the end of the book is something
that dad always, I guess in a really positive way,
just put on me, he says, what would happen
if we were the best version of ourself every single day?
If we can live from the perspective of,
how can I be my best right now, always?
And at all times, what a different life we will live?
Most people just live their days, just living their days
and kind of a routine.
But if we give energy into, how can I
be the best version of me right now, all the time?
And for me, that's being right here right now
with you, Caroline, and listening to you.
And how can I be the best version of me?
That's something I learned from my father.
I certainly, he inspired me to do so much more.
I was actually writing a newsletter
that I'll be sending out in a few days
because it's been almost two years since he's passed.
And I talk about some of the things I've learned
in those last two years.
And one of the things I really realized was that,
my father was probably my biggest cheerleader.
And so that's why I can say that he was the one
who really inspired me.
He was always cheering me on, always letting me know
that I'm capable of more, always pushing me
to be better, to do more.
And it was a great way to grow up.
I'm very fortunate that way.
Well, I'm Brian.
Wow, I want to thank you for all those very deep thoughts.
And you make me think while I'm listening here
that indeed, from knowing you and what I know about Bob,
we could really feel your connection,
I mean, between your Bob.
You were like really in a special frequency, Bob of you.
And I know you have at least another brother, right?
Brian, you have some siblings.
Why do you think it's like what was exactly
that you had together with your father
in regards to that frequency?
Because it was special, it was.
And I don't know if we can put words on that,
but if you can somehow communicate that,
that would be amazing.
Yeah, you know what, Celeste, it's...
So I have a brother, Raymond, and a sister calling.
So there's three of us.
And yes, I did have a unique relationship with him.
And it was just, if I was to put a word on it,
it was just pure love.
You know, it wouldn't be unusual for myself and my father
to be on the phone at 5 a.m. in the morning.
We're both early morning people.
He always knew it was safe to call me at 5 a.m.
And sometimes I'd step out of the house or somewhere quiet,
so I wouldn't wake anybody else up.
But we just had a special connection.
And one of the things that I think everybody
that's watching or listening to this will really appreciate,
something that Dad and I did at 5 a.m.
was we would get on the phone almost every day.
And we would start talking good
about people behind their back.
You know, I heard that.
I thought, like, it was so awesome.
You know, how often do we get involved in frivolous gossip?
And all the nonsense out there, Dad and I
would focus on speaking good about people behind their back.
And they wouldn't even know we were doing it.
But here's what happened.
We elevated ourselves by doing that.
We felt better.
And it was an enjoyable conversation between the two of us.
And it created, in my opinion, an even tighter connection.
So that was one of the fun things that we did with each other.
You make my thing.
When people do together things of high frequency,
they get more and more connected.
They become better and better friends.
And the love is increasing because they're
doing things together.
Wow.
Yeah.
And quickly, it gives us power.
It gives us more power.
Power for good.
Yeah.
Wow.
Here is the secret for all parents.
All parents that have kids do good things together.
And get in high frequencies to get out.
This is wow.
Yes, very true.
Yeah.
Thank you so much.
I want to say thank you so much for the inspiration
about how to cheer.
Can you say cheer your kids or cheer up your kids?
Yes, cheerleader.
Cheerleader.
Yeah, that's what we do.
Yeah, my father was my biggest cheerleader.
And really what that means is he was always supporting me,
always encouraging me.
You know, when we have a big goal,
we don't necessarily want to share that with everybody.
Because some people can kind of knock us down and think,
who are you to think that you can do that?
Whereas my father, when I shared a big goal with him,
he was like, Brian, you can absolutely do that.
And you can do so much more.
So that's where the cheerleader part was.
And he always inspired me to step out and do more.
And it's, yes, if we can do that with our children,
that's a great thing.
And here's another little nugget or tidbit, I guess,
Caroline, is that my father never inflicted his ideas
on me when I was going after something that I really wanted.
It might have been something that he would have
not an interest at all for, but he would never show that.
He was always supportive.
And I look on my kids now and I certainly
feel that I'm their cheerleader and I encourage them.
And they are maybe going after something that's like,
I would never do that, but I would never say that to them.
I would encourage them.
We're all individuals.
And the more that we can support each other
in whatever they want to do, whatever they're
endeavor is, they're better off we're going to be.
And that was a great thing that I learned from him.
Wow, this is so powerful.
It really makes me think because I have a small sound
that is growing.
And I'm like, oh, OK, I need to be careful not
to push my desires upon him.
And I'm like, wow, wow, wow, thank you.
Yeah, that's true.
That many other parents put their will or their expectations
on the children.
And maybe they don't see another solution then
to follow their ideas, other people ideas.
And you mentioned desire, or I take the word now desire.
You desire cannot be the other one, the desire from someone else.
But desire also means from God that means you cannot know
what God gets to me or what I don't.
And so that is unique.
And it's not up to us to judge.
That would be judgment if I chalk it down,
or if I say, who do you think you are to reach that goal?
Because, yeah, it's not my path or an end on vice versa.
You don't want other people to judge your desires.
So you don't do this.
Yes, I understand.
I learned something.
Thank you so much.
Yeah, you know, Carolyn, that's where it is very, very important
that we only share our desires with people
that we know are going to support us.
Because we don't need that negative energy.
We don't need that somebody.
Sometimes it can be even a simple look.
And you don't need anything that will knock you off track.
So only share your real desires with people
that you know for sure will support you.
And they'll help you get there quicker.
Wow, this is a great message.
Thank you so much.
And I encourage you, Dearest Podcast Community,
please, listen to this.
It is so amazing.
I have to listen to it.
I know it already.
To internalize it in order to that I can apply it then
what I heard from you.
My next question is, how do you inspire other people?
Well, you know, I feel that I inspire other people
just in my message.
I felt I've done it in the book.
I certainly look on Amazon and I see the reviews.
It's very, very positive.
I think you inspire other people by allowing
them to be theirself and encouraging them to do and be more
and to follow their dream.
You know, the big thing that my father always taught
was that you have to chase your dream.
You have to go after it.
And I hope anyway that I'm doing that with this book
when people read it that they realize
that they're capable of so much more.
You know, if we can find a goal, a worthy ideal,
something worth chasing, it will cause us to do things
in a day that we would never normally do.
And that is where the growth takes place.
So if we can inspire other people to shoot for more,
to do more than what's required,
to live a day more than just another routine.
If we can, if we can inspire people to do more
that they can be more and really open up the whole world
to more, I think we've done our job.
I think that's a fair thing.
Then everything and everyone expands.
And we have an expanded planet.
And I think it's important.
I, you know, let's be honest,
we live in a world now that is a 24 hours new cycle.
And there's so much negativity out there.
So what can we do to block that negativity
and to show light and to help other people
be more and do more?
I think the world needs that more than anything right now.
Yes.
And we are doing this by being the light.
Exactly.
On the frequency and inspired.
Yes.
Yes, as I said in the beginning,
be the best version of yourself right here right now
at all times and be consciously aware of that.
Boy, if we can do that, our life will be different.
It really will.
It might not be different today or tomorrow,
although it will be minutely.
But if we're the best version of ourself every single day,
you watch what will happen in your life a month now,
six months from now.
My gosh, you'll be looking back
and you'll think, what happened?
You know, it's really makes a difference.
Wow.
Thank you so much.
My next question is, what are your gifts and talents?
My gifts and talents.
Well, you know, my wife would probably say
it's relationships.
I really work at relationships, staying connected to people.
And I think, you know, back to your last question,
is inspiring people to do more and to be more.
You know, since my father's passing,
writing this book and getting on podcasts
like yourself, Caroline, this has been fun for me.
I have really enjoyed this.
So for me, it's all about getting the message out,
showing that we're capable of more.
And boy, if we can do one little thing
to make somebody look at something bigger in their life,
we've done something.
You know, we don't have to do gigantic things
to make a difference in the world.
Many times it's the little things
and those little things will add up.
So it's the best way I can, I guess I can answer that for you.
Oh, thank you so much.
I also think it is the quiet things.
The things you don't think have an impact.
And then three years later,
someone comes to you and says,
at that day, you said this one sentence
and you saved my life or something like that.
Very good.
But you never know.
You never know.
The list is there question for me.
Now, but we still have another question.
That is amazing because, you know what,
Brian, actually, we wanted to know
what are you doing lately?
Because we were like, with Caroline,
aha, is he teaching in personal development?
Does he have a different business?
What are you doing lately?
Update us a little bit.
So really what I've been doing lately is, you know,
podcasts like this.
I've been getting on podcasts all over the world.
And that's been a lot of fun.
I've been doing a little bit of coaching
with different people and their businesses
and helping them improve.
I've been working on a program
that'll be coming out with this year
again, that's something that will help people
live a better life.
Really just trying to carry on the message of my father.
But in my own unique way, I will never be Bob Proctor.
I don't think there is another Bob Proctor in the world.
He was a unique man.
So I will share my experiences
and what it was like growing up with him as a father
and how he affected my life.
And I think I can share with the world
a different perspective of what success is
and how to be successful through my life lens.
And that's really what I'm all about right now.
And if I'm, to be honest,
Celeste, I'm having a lot of fun doing it.
It's been, I would have never thought
I would be doing this kind of thing,
but I'm really enjoying it.
And I'm enjoying the interaction
that I'm having with everybody else left there.
Wow, I love it.
You know, you make me think,
the first thing I would think,
if I think Bob Proctor, I would be thinking like,
oh, knowledgeable, the expert,
you know, the expert of the personal development industry.
That's Bob.
But if I am to think about you,
I'll definitely define you as love with a body on, you know,
and the expertise behind it.
So you do have different approaches.
Of course, I don't know you that well, Brian,
but from the interactions that I had,
is definitely a different frequency,
a frequency full of these feelings
that you are saying that you are excellent at relations.
And I believe people do need this,
do need to learn personal development.
And simultaneously, yes, feel the feelings
and improve the relations.
And yes, take this with them.
So yes, I love that we are all unique
and we are just us.
And it's fabulous to be us.
And I will never be able to be Bob Proctor.
Nobody will.
So it's better to be Celeste and it's better to be who we are
and deliver through our lenses, as you say, yes.
You know, it's the last, I think you hit that one
right on the head.
I think that is the important thing.
We have to be the best version of ourself.
How can we shine our light better?
We don't need to imitate anybody else.
And I think, well, I know that if we come
from a place of loving, we come from the heart,
we'll never do wrong.
You know, it's when we come from other places
that it's not good.
If we come from the right place,
our message is always going to be well-received
and it will be valuable.
I've written this down, and it was so good.
Come from a place of love.
Yes, wow, wow.
Thank you so much for this interview.
You mentioned also the fun part.
You are having fun doing the podcast.
And did you start the podcast
after your book was published or already before?
No, you know what, Caroline?
I started after the book was published.
So once the book was published and started getting out there,
I started having people reaching out to me.
And I, be honest, I never expected that.
I thought I'm going to release the book and my work is done.
It has been the complete opposite.
My work began once I released the book
and I've been on podcasts all around the world.
And here's the deal.
I've embraced it.
I've embraced it.
I have a big goal around this.
And the one thing I learned from my father,
when you have a big goal, you need to step into it
and you need to own it and take action.
And so for me, it's getting on podcast.
If I get invited, I'm on.
It's doing whatever is required to get the message out there.
It's been a great lesson for me.
You know, the biggest thing I've learned
is that when we have a big dream, we need to take action.
And that means stepping into the unknown,
maybe doing things that you don't necessarily always
want to do.
But if we take action steps every single day,
even if they're little action steps,
they will add up over time.
And we will be in such a different place.
So for me, it's been embrace this.
I never thought I'd be on podcasts or interviewed
on different webinars and all kinds of things.
I've had a few one-on-one interviews.
And I'll be honest, it was uncomfortable at first
because it was not where I thought I'd be going.
But now I'm embracing it because I realize
it's making a difference and it's getting the message out there.
And I think everybody that's listening to this,
if you have a big goal, step into it and take action
and do the things that you're uncomfortable doing
because once you start doing that,
it will become comfortable and your growth will expand.
It's always, always a good thing.
I love this.
I love it all.
It's girl and sad.
Re-watch this, right?
You're going to re-watch this.
Brian, do you re-watch your own podcasts?
No, I do not.
I need to make it.
Yeah, I don't like this.
I struggle watching myself on these things.
I'm so glad that you are doing it
and stepping out that comfort zone.
This is how we do it also every day.
And thank you for sharing the message, your message,
Bob's message, and also thank you for the book again.
I told you I just bought it two or three years.
Good, days ago for preparing this podcast.
I have to admit, but I knew it since half a year
and I wanted to tip in.
And now, wow, I cannot stop.
Because I have it as an audio book, by the way.
Oh, I bought both.
I bought the e-book and the audio book.
There's the bundle, you know, you can have it.
So please, folks, buy the book.
It's the main thing.
You will learn a lot and listen to this episode.
Yeah, and reach out to Brian, if you have questions.
And if you want to do podcasts with him, yes, he's open.
I love it.
Thank you so much for you.
The last word, please.
Last message.
Last message.
Well, first, I just want to say,
Celeste and Caroline, thank you very much.
Thank you for having me here.
Thank you for letting the word get out.
My last message for anybody that's listening
or watching this is what I said right from the start.
Just be the best version of you every day.
My gosh, if you can do that, your life will get better.
And I realize that, you know, we struggle at times.
None of us are immune from adversity.
We'll have bad things happen to us from time to time.
But if we can focus on the good, on the best,
what can we do right now to be a little bit better?
It doesn't have to be great, just even a little bit better.
If we can do that every single day,
life will get better.
And we'll achieve more, we'll do more,
and we'll have a lot more fun along the way.
So that would be my last message to everybody here.
And I appreciate you having me on.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
