I'm Gerard back with Paul and Paul. We got to start off with some very, very sad news that I think people just woke up to you.
A couple of days ago, but unfortunately, Kazusada Huguichi of DDT is retiring. He was in for a medical checkup. I think in January, he was it.
And his neck is just in bad shape and to the point where he is retiring with a ceremony, but no final match. And I think it's tragic. I think this definitely lowers my interest in DDT.
And I think he's a bit of a what if because what if he was in another promotion or what if DDT pushed him harder? I mean, he had his moments. Now he's had it.
Other injuries in the past, obviously that I think affected him. Like after his first title run, but he had another great title run last year that was way too short if you asked me.
And yeah, Paul, what are your thoughts and how do you feel about this affects DDT?
I think, yeah, I mean, it is a loss. I think it's a loss for wrestling as a whole. I think it's more of a loss for wrestling as a whole than it is for DDT itself.
Yes, because I think DDT will be fine without him.
Like they're doing pretty damn great. Like they're setting up for the future and they're creating new main event doesn't everything.
But I feel like with like he Gucci, it's always like, well, what could he have done in like a different promotion as well?
Like I actually would have loved him to like, you know, spread his wings a bit more, go and do some mattress and do some mattress in all Japan.
Maybe go like do a couple of mattress and like new Japan or whatever or maybe maybe like jumping to new Japan.
But yeah, so like I feel like it's done what he everything he possibly could have done in DDT.
Yeah, I actually would have been shocked if he had eventually just said, you know, like to catch that before him or end on a way as well or like he Gucci, right?
Like that seems to be the thing with like the people that have done everything in DDT kind of like excluding Hiroshima kind of tend to like go somewhere else.
So yeah, obviously that's never going to happen now. So we're never going to see that which is a shame.
But I mean, what we got from him was pretty damn amazing. So I guess that's at least something.
Absolutely. I think it's kind of calm one of the most underrated resters of the last decade. You think that's fair? No, I think that's very fair. Yeah.
No, I mean, it's like like basically like I don't think like they're like like I think if you're like a casual just like let's say like mostly like you're old.
You're most at most your exposure to poro is like watching new Japan. Then you probably have no idea who he Gucci is.
Like you might have heard of Kaito Kiyomiya. You might have heard of Ken Tamiyahara.
But like I don't think there's any way like those people have heard of like he Gucci and I like forget.
Like anybody that is like made like American wrestling. They definitely haven't heard of a Gucci.
So yeah, I definitely think he is very, very underrated. But I mean, one of the reasons for that is also because he's had like a lot of injury issues as well.
He has completely surprising if you really think about it.
No, I saw that announcement of my immediate thing was like, oh yeah, he's retiring.
He's toast. Yeah, yeah, shame.
I mean, I at least was hoping that maybe he could have had like it was like an announcement. He's going to have like a retirement match or something.
But yeah, like sounds like his neck is just done done and it's probably better to just retired even without a match.
Yeah, and now I saw someone point this out on on social media.
I think yeah, every member of eruption is retired. Yeah, yeah, except what was Okatani in eruption?
Okatani was an eruption. So he's the only one that did still.
Yeah, but the original eruption is gone. Yeah, no, those three are retired, which is kind of wild.
Yeah, yeah, it is. But the thing is they all sort of had done everything they could have done in DDT as well.
I mean, Sakaguchi was like what near 50 or was he over 50 even?
Yeah, I mean, Sakaguchi is the one that makes like the most sense. Like he was by far the oldest and there.
Like the other two H voice aren't that old really.
No, I think early retirement. I mean, what were they going to do with Sakia Kaya? I mean, they they could have centered it.
TJP W and Mainer are the princess champions, but they didn't like no, you know, so that is what it is.
So I think you know, she retired and yeah, I mean, Sakuguchi was only chaotic champion twice, but it felt like he did all that he could do in that company.
Yeah, no, no, no, I mean, like because that's the thing, I mean, as tighter ends might have been like short tear, I suppose.
But I mean, like generally like when he like his mattress asked champion, but always like incredibly like dominant.
Even if the reins weren't, you know, like short that if they fell more impactful, but yeah, I don't know, like I think that's the other thing.
Like it's a shame that he's retiring now, but at the other hand, I think he had a really good career.
Like he's kind of right in that sweet spot, right? Like he's he's young to retire, but he's not like too young to retire basically.
Yeah, exactly. So like he had a full career, he could have had a fuller career, but it's not like I can say like it's like it's like a big like oh he like retired like way too young.
And we never really know what he could have been like we know what he was like we know what like we know that that that's why I wanted him to be in other promotions, right?
Because I knew that he was going to be great there for sure, because from everything I've seen from that I've seen him do in DDT.
I knew he was going to be amazing if he had chosen ever to like go somewhere else, but like just based on the stuff he's done in DDT.
It was like a full like like a lot of restless would kill to have had like Casasada Higuchi's career.
Yeah, so yeah, I mean the funny thing is I can't think about a retirement of a main event or an early retirement of a main event that's had less impact on his home promotion than Higuchi's if you think about it.
Yeah, no, I'm like it's weird like that.
Yeah, I mean, I guess I you know what similar like I guess maybe similarly because that wasn't the retirement, but it's like eerie leaving DDT had no impact on DDT either.
Yeah, and he was a main event at there too.
So I guess that like I'm trying to think of any kind of similar case right of like a guy at that level in the promotion like leaving or retiring and it not really match.
Also and no Jake it endo Jake leaving.
Yeah.
Jake also leaving though.
Jake leaving though.
Like those are like the only cases I can think of like it just kind of feels like like obviously like it basically was like you you're an important part of the promotion, but the fact that you're gone out does not matter.
It's it's weird like and it feels mean to compare Higuchi to those cases because like obviously it's like a different situation, but like yeah, I don't know like it's it's a shame for wrestling and it's it's a inconvenience for DDT.
Yeah, for sure.
The best wrestlers out there really when he's on top and gets the big main events always always delivered.
I can't think of like a Gucci match, a big Gucci match that didn't deliver.
No, like I'm like when I saw the announcement of like the thing my my mind went to from like the Hiroshima rain last year.
I don't think Hiroshima the during his title in the match with Hiroshima where like the finish for that like right when Hiroshima like when for the painting Gucci just kicks out immediately grabs him.
Like muscles him up and like claw slams him for the win like absolute like like serial killer like finished basically just yeah insane guy.
Paul will turn to you because we're going to start with this but then the Gucci thing happened but cows about 16 camera yeah.
I really enjoyed 16 carat I brought out my I brought out my cat by new camera that I bought it arrived in time so I was actually able to take some pictures.
Get some pointers from rich because on the first night I didn't set up I just took pictures and I was like oh I probably need to like you know.
I can't just do this like I do with like a phone camera right just take pictures and just hope it works like I actually have to like manually do the settings for this.
But then I did manage to grab some really really nice pictures.
I know what my heart take is coming out of 16 carat what my heart take is to see a night or should turn heal because yeah so night was in 16 carat right and on basic on night too.
He was facing a who are who was like the big like baby like I he's like the biggest baby face in like Germany right now I would say.
He's not the biggest baby face in Germany's the biggest baby face in in WXW for sure and I would argue he's probably like I think you can make an argument he's the best wrestler in Europe right now.
He's insanely underrated but basically the whole thing was like I mean a horror horror thing was like that he had never won 16 carat and so going into the tournament he said that he was going to retire.
He doesn't win the tournament spoiler he did eventually win the tournament it was great was awesome moment.
But on night too he was facing Tetsuya Naito right and both guys are technically supposed to be baby faces.
So it's like and and basically when everybody when everybody saw like Naito announced everybody was like okay Naito is going to be like eliminated via bullshit like there's no way Naito is like taking a clean pin.
So him being up here against a horror people were like well a horror is like a baby face and Naito is a baby face and it's no way Naito is like job and clean.
So there was this feel I think there was this feeling in the building when it's like okay is this old broken down guy and he's going to like retire the most beloved guy in the company.
And so the crowd started booing just shed out of Naito and and Naito you know as ever like a guy that came up in like Tanahashi generation or like you know like in Tan like Hiroshi Tanahashi's new Japan basically you know he sees like it was like oh I'm getting booed okay I'm going to like fucking lean into that and like his match with a horror is like the best it's a United single match in like.
Like a long time I will say like that was a genuinely good match like I mean part of it was just a horror taking some absolutely fucking insane bumps.
But I think also like just kind of working here just being more vicious just you know like not having to like like not having to like sell as much not having to like you know like being more the
little bit being able to do my character work the lot more here where it wasn't even that he was cheating really it was just more him just being a fucking asshole and not him being you know they're like.
Asshole and like tongue and cheekway where like you cheer for him because I did see a night or what like it was actually just like no night or go fuck yourself right and I think that work really well so I think like I think there's an argument to be made at night or short term.
But not in like he joins like team 2000 export more like not to just lean way heavier into being an asshole and it's not tongue and cheek it's actually just like in a hateable way.
Okay yeah that makes sense because we'll talk about night of some more later and I think that sort of you know it's something for him to do as we get into because you know I think he needs some sort of fresh
curry paint yeah because right now he's just doing like whatever spots he can still do which isn't a lot of them yeah I think he definitely desperately needs something new to do and who knows I mean maybe that's
something I mean we've been talking until we're blown a face about like oh they're going to do like a double turn with Kite and Ozawa and I don't think that's
happening anymore. I don't even know what the fuck is going to happen with Kaituki on here in general but who knows I mean maybe that's something that's
coming I think definitely like I think it's risky to turn night to in Japan I don't even know if it could work but like if you can
make it work I think it would work really really well like I think you have to be very deliberate in how you're doing
it but I think if you manage to pull it off I think that's like exactly what night of needs like to like revitalize his career because whatever they're
doing right now I don't think it's working very well right so the next topic so it was announced that New Japan seems to be
working for juniors including Dragon Daya and also Raioma Sugamoto which was came out of left field I thought that one was that one I was that's the one
I'm most shocked about especially because who knows how good is me is yeah right because he like didn't wasn't he the didn't was like him he
got two knee injuries or he you know quote unquote retired from Japan because he had a couple knee injuries and quick succession right yeah and also like he
just announced that he was going to like take a step back as well because allegedly like his knee was acting up but he went to the try
out for the dojo so who knows what that that's all about if they end up signing him and so they're the market for junior heavyweights
well Paul I think in a different world if master water was more of a dynamic performer maybe having this conversation I mean okay I did you see sorry sorry just for quick see the
sparkle like quiz thing that was posted in the voice of wrestling slack which was about like you know like the like a
previous like the final the winners and finalists of the best of the super junior oh yes yes and yeah I did really badly on
that because like no joke legitimately half the time I was looking at the twenty twenty three best of the super
juniors which is not that local code that's three years ago wow and I for the lie I I remember who they have a
finalist was what life of me I could did not remember that master water won that tournament that tells you
everything you need to know about master water and they didn't even do the normal follow up that they would usually do oh yeah
no he's just been like completely fucking like back down the pecking order right after and that's like three years ago yeah he's fucking either
fucking nothing I felt like at one point he was about to turn the corner and they didn't do anything no but that was like
now like in twenty twenty three now anyway so yes they need juniors and but so I only bring this question up is I
don't think they're going to punch anyone from Noah unless you think they might but I mean he's already going to
approach from Noah right like yeah I mean I think there's a zero percent chance they're going to
approach like Daiki Oda Sheema like I mean if they want eight they can have them like I'm very much like
and then otherwise I think the other guys are just like two old that's the thing yeah like I mean
even all of the young guys Kai Fujimura I don't see Alejandro yeah maybe one of maybe like one of maybe
one or both of the like like the brothers like dragonbane or alpha both yes although the thing is they
might want to go to WWE yeah that's the other thing like that that's more like it yeah exactly yeah yeah so
that I so I put his notes here on the run sheet you know they're under contracts but next January
could they like take rising high I don't or even at ski or the aoyaki brothers like what I actually
could see that I actually could see I mean it depends kind of what like happens with like at ski's
brother right like what happens with you my like over like the next year or so maybe if he gets
like kind of disgruntled after a while because he probably has lost a lot of power I mean I don't
know I think that actually could be a good move for both of them and to be quite I mean with
at ski right yeah is it actually a bad thing if you leave no I don't know I think the aoyaki brothers
aren't is I feel like you asked me two years ago I was like oh man I think if they were both to go it
would be a disaster yeah and I don't think that's really the case anymore yeah but I would say if
they like it would be bad if they post like multiple juniors and took like hiato as well oh yeah
no no no if it's multiple people that's bad anyway but you know like Yuma like you've got Anzai you've got
well someone else will vote world talk about later and possibly even more guys going into the dojo so I
mean what's the I feel like you my aoyaki is a lot more expendable than he was a year or two ago oh
yeah yeah no he is he is for sure like I think it still would be a loss for the promotion but again
like they have other like young guys and at ski would be a loss as well but I also like I don't
know like we just went through a title rain where we were both really really disappointed with him
because he just both his title was instead the world on fighter no it really happened now to be fair
he he didn't have that good back to get stuck in jibba yes no he did he did but it's like I think
especially in this past title rain very much was like I don't know it felt like like it just really felt
like he don't still doesn't really know how to properly structure a match which like if you're
supposed to be like the ace of the promotion is the ace of the division rather is bad like you
should like in your second title when you should know how to structure a match like a big match at all
and he still doesn't really know how to do that yeah so and you know he's in trouble like he could be and
like let's be honest the booking got a lot tighter and better up and down the car and I'd say since he got suspended
would yeah right or conclusions whether that's because he was gone or whether that's because go has a hand in it
I don't know right we don't know why not why not both why not both exactly well since I hinted
at it I was going to talk about it later let's talk about it because all Japan might have another
super rookie on their hands maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration in a bold statement to make
but yeah so Genki Hanawa Genki Hanawa he is he's a little older he's like 25 or 26 and he
at the judo background his dad is a comedian and he dad I think directed the center brothers music video
and everything like that so this fits both of well some of Fakuda's interests in having crossovers
with entertainment plus a guy that has a strong you know combat sports background right yeah
oh yeah it does so he's he's only like 180 centimeters but he's like a hundred and ten kilos so he's
shorter than like Anzai and Kento and Yuma Ayoyagi but he's a little thick and everything like that right
so you know he's an eye to keep someone to keep an eye on for sure and I would assume
I would expect certain decent things from him I think and all the more reason I'm like
who cares what happens to you but yeah yeah that's fair enough
no I'd be definitely like I think there's there's something you can do with him right
like it's I think in like Noah he is for sure a heavyweight I think I don't think it's even debatable
like again he's a little on the small and for all Japan but I don't know like I think yeah
again as he said because he's a bit thicker they probably are gonna like put him at heavyweight
and everything and with that background I mean that's just the kind of background that all Japan
out of all promotions just like loss right like that's just exactly the guy's they want to get in
and yeah I'm gonna I'm gonna be interested to see like what he can do yeah and apparently judging
by these by these translated notes from backstage interview from which from the show on the 20th
Hokusubori has taken over Dojo training and it sounds like more than just Hanawa is reporting
to the Dojo in April apparently so that's a good sign they they're bringing some guys because
they had a trident December yeah also I mean I definitely have to bury my uh Hokusubori leaving
theory and I think that one is very dead now I think yeah I think it might just be more that he's
like pulling back a little just so he can focus on a dojo then I guess yeah that might be why he's
not in the champion carnival everything and you know what I think that's probably a good position
and also well he will use to be the guy that was in charge of the dojo in Mr. Aoyagi yeah so that's
another like probably like lost booking power seems to have lost like like the head position in the
dojo so man he's he's for sure getting punished like it just see how much but he actually will be
brought it back before the carnival not to um that's put a minute yeah and then he's like
every single match he's been in so far as the opening match um so that's a good news for
all Japan and Paul this is sort of breaking news on today the day record on March 25th but on the
Maple Leaf Pro show this weekend the double header and Windsor Ontario kind of key to me is was
already announced on the show so we knew that but it's it was announced at the first MLP
tag team champions are going to be crowned and uh and it's going to be a four-way tank team
master storm determined the first champions and the match is Bryce Henson and Sheldon Jean
versus the gates of Agony Agony versus the good brothers versus kind of key to me and
Bishop Dyer what oh you didn't see this no I haven't seen the set no oh okay so Paul I must ask
is Bishop Dyer can't a surprise I mean that is a guy that he has like like they were in NXT
together yeah wasn't wait wasn't Kenter even the one that ended like like unbeaten like streak
like wasn't like wasn't Baron Corbin like undefeated for a while and then like was I think he
the Kenter or like uh David beat him oh really okay I think I don't know I might be completely
misremembering that but like they definitely were like in NXT uh together like that that one
I'm pretty sure of let me let me just double check that real quick because that should be pretty
much at the beginning right so to host us uh he was on the main roster for a while like he might
2018 he was on the main roster I mean they have to go back to yeah so oh because it doesn't count
the NXT things as uh it's not separate it's and it doesn't count NXT STV okay I definitely know
he was he was like unbeaten for a while yeah yeah um so how do you feel about this uh that's not
that's not a great attrition really like that's kind of I don't know just I mean he's not very good
this feels very all Japan-esque right now I mean it very much does it very much feels like an
all Japan like like made two thousands like guide to bring in oh I was even talking about right now
I mean right I mean but more in terms of like being an extra uh well no actually way they had
also okay but here's the thing now they're only bringing in guys that didn't even really make
w-e-t-v that's true yes like a guy that was like on w-e-t-v for years and then gets broadened and
then like I don't know like you know put him in R&D like that that's the that's the error I was
thinking of not like re-binging guys that washed out of NXT after like six months
absolutely so because they want you won like like fucking like like Bishop Dias Lashbaran
Carbon was there for like a long ass time yeah he was there for like oh but he was there for 12
years yeah he started around the main roster in 2016 which seems very long ago right yeah I mean
that's ten years ago I mean he's also 41 yeah I don't know like it's not a guy I would bring in
I mean I wouldn't be surprised if they do but then if they bring him in any teams of Kaito then
he's just gonna like I think he's obviously gonna turn on Kaito immediately enjoyed team
to fall asleep yeah it's so funny um but what are you gonna do I think that uh it could be like
he obviously is spinning his wheels because maybe I think did he have one AEW tryout match I don't
even know um yeah yeah he did he did actually he had a dark match on dynamite yeah and he's
spinning and I'll W otherwise so um yeah he probably needs his job with double so maybe it will be
a lot you know but we'll see so we'll go over to the shows and we start all going all the way back
to March 8th I shouldn't keep a first ring for great the debt UW-8 version 8 which was available
on YouTube and probably 128 fifth like that's less than half of should keep his maximum capacity
yeah I mean they got out drawn by 0-1 I know I did not watch this whole show I just watched um the top
two matches oh and what an area Nomura and Ryujin versus Ryujin Jakata of course uh how could I
forget that of course Nomura Nomura versus Jakata six minutes nice solid'll match Nomura 1
with TKO the I thought this is the best match to the show um talking or you know defeated Tetsui
Izuchi uh in 907 by TKO to become the number one uh contented to the UW the debt UWF world title
um you know I don't know maybe three three quarters and then made event someone wants to
not be defeated Katsuhiko Nakajima in 646 with TKO from a sleeper hold and Nakajima fails on his eighth
defense and uh Watanabe is the fourth champion so you know uh is challenging Watanabe first
this was fine but a little dry you know uh like three and a quarter three and a half so I thought
the show was fine but we did a more explosive main event for sure and um think Nakajima works a
couple dates after that but you think he's dealt with great I mean that's like if I mean great
seems to be in like cost-cutting mode right yeah so that's like a really really obvious one
like that's a really obvious expense that you can cut it's like Nakajima and like like what is
he gonna do there now like nothing since they didn't put the g-rax pedal on him no I mean
no they did he was double champion oh yeah very briefly though yeah yeah no very very
briefly but I don't know like I think it feels like it's time for it like it very clearly seems like
he's like moving his way over to like zero one now so he's worked okay so he's worked three great
shows since then um but all like six man undercard matches yeah that definitely does not seem like
depositioning him to like make a run at like direct or anything like that yeah um well I think zero
one like I said the second best place for him and on that subject it's good to zero one uh that
was on March 20th at Shin Kiwa first ring dragon one hundred and ninety one fans um so I only
watched the top three matches on this junior match and I'll get defeated Sukitaka Sado in 1041
with the beasting very solid match I thought good solid three and a half star match Paul did you
watch the show or did you not watch the great show no I didn't watch the great show yeah and you
didn't watch the show either right uh hmm sorry the zero one show zero one yeah no I I wanted to that
one I wanted to watch but like it the three was gone oh all right so that was solid and then
the semi made event with the Masado Tanaka versus Shujishikawa in 1530 be Shujishikawa in 1532 with
the signed D I'd go like screen three quarter stars this about as good as I think you're going to
get from these two guys that are now over 50 years old so they actually did do some good bumps and
worked as hard as they could and it was it was pretty good I mean I will say this I mean I did see
an excellent like four star match from like Masado Tanaka this year already like in person
versus him vice-huyabusa so but yeah I mean against she I think but that's also Huyabusa we're like
Huyabusa can take all the bumps whereas like yeah get Shujishikawa that gets a bit more difficult
and then in the main event Katsuhiko Nakajima defeated Huyabusa in 2054 with the Northern lights bomb
again I would probably go in like three and a half three and three quarter range I felt like
Nakajima was holding back and by holding back I don't be not trying to injure Huyabusa with kicks
but I mean like these guys have it in the match coming up that's the vibe I sort of got from
this match for sure yeah yeah no because it's probably like like it's basically a preview match for
like him versus Huyabusa at like the Nakajima like produce show but then it's also weird like it's
like Nakajima then gonna lose on his own show or is he just gonna beat Huyabusa twice which would
be a half hour draw or something yeah you know and eventually I think Huyabusa will beat him but I
would be look if if Nakajima has to put over Huyabusa this quickly I would I would say that he's
kind of desperate for work oh yeah yeah I mean what do you think of this as he said like I do like
a time limit draw at the produce show and then Nakajima and the fire festival yeah and then you do
Nakajima versus Huyabusa and the fire festival final and then Huyabusa beat some there and then he
beats probably that Nakka or Matsunaga for the title yeah yeah I'm down with that one that's good right
yeah and give Nakajima something to actually like do so I would say that this match this show
continue what I think is a pretty good run the continuing pretty good run for zero one
it's been getting some attention this year mostly because of the new Huyabusa gimmick I mean that's
the sort of thing that's bringing people in but it's it's delivering but mind you I mean this is
a very simple simple stuff and everything like that so they've got their 25th anniversary show
coming up on April 3rd at Sanzuku face and I think that's going to be we're going to see
Huyabusa versus Bouchi I mean I mean I will say this like Bouchi I mean he's not like it's he's
Bouchi right but I will like here be like out of him a night I think it's the one that is trying
harder in this like call like LTJ thing yes that's fair like you know who like because I can
like I literally can also tell you like the guy that was always at the merch table was Bouchi like
nighto was there occasionally but like Bouchi literally was there every single fucking night
like manning the merch table yeah like he seems to be the guy that is actually motivated to like
make this into like a thing that like it's something yeah and it's not listed on the website but
I'm pretty sure Matsunaga is challenging Tanaka for the world title right yeah yeah because you
only match listed on this is Huyabusa versus Bouchi on the zero one website but so that looks
like a good show I'll be excited to see that we'll move quickly on to DDT judgement 2026 the
five-hour special which I should definitely do about five hours of in fact I only watch the main
event of this show but Paul you watch some more of the undercard although you can watch the whole
show either no no I pick pick and choose I mean thank God that like wrestle universe has to like
chapter let's see you can just straight jump to the match that you want to go to so now I watched
June Akiyama was Rukia yeah I was like a great like June Akiyama like torturing a young boy
type match I think Rukia has like a lot of potential as well like showed good fire like gave like
like he really like tried to like give it to Akiyama as well so yeah now that was pretty good like
that I also watched the like the KOD tag team title like contentorship match because I wanted to
like check in on Junta Miyawaki but as always it's Junta lose this role but I mean at least it's
in like a higher profile thing where it's like an actual like you know like contentorship match
on a big show and everything no I like that one as well again Hiroshima is still pretty damn great
I don't not a huge fan of Shane Aki but he did fine uh Junta again seemed very very motivated
and this as well uh he really like he had a really great shop battle with Hiroshima at the very end
of the match before like Hiroshima like uh Pentum uh so yeah he definitely seems very very motivated
then I skipped everything after that until we went all the way to like uh to catch the versus
Hirata uh where Hirata like got like the entrance with like John Robinson like John Robinson being
like the guy that like sings the like theme song like he's the guy that did like the Tokyo like that
he's that guy and he was he can still do it like he's old enough but like he did an entire song
life and he did pretty damn great um then the the match itself still was like basically just comedy
well like basically two times the cash that was immediately pentirata uh and then uh basically like
Hirata like played it with like the cash done everything and then eventually it settled on that
like essentially that Harada would only need a two count and but the cash that wouldn't need a
20 count and that went a little bit longer uh including like uh the cash that doing like the whole
like getting like the sunglasses doing the dance but then he got low blowed by John Robinson uh but
still the thing is like Hirata kept kicking out at like 16 17 or whatever uh and then eventually
the cash that was just like okay fuck this we said it was a 20 count but nobody said anything about
a tap out and he just like put him in a boss and crap and tap them out um so yeah I mean comedy
match but I enjoyed it for what it was uh then you had the universal title match where you had
a Kazuma sumi defeating a Daisuke Sasaki in 1648 with a schoolboy to win the title um it was good uh
I mean it's about as good as I guess a non-plunder like Daisuke Sasaki like match can be in 2026
or 2025 2024 okay let's go on for too long um so yeah I liked it I mean it was also like a
bit of an upset for sumi as well so the crowd like it was one of those things for like the crowd like
audibly gas when he actually got the win and they were like oh my god he actually did it because
nobody like expected like Sasaki to like lose this match especially not on his first offense like
he had just won the universal title as well so definitely an upset uh I mean I I think it
actually worked nicely in like making sumi like more more of a guy basically although the next match
definitely that's one that like where DDT managed to make another guy and that's the main event
so yeah for the KOD openway title Yuki O'Enerdefeats canon and 2512 with the WR and I think you
watched that fun as well right yes I this story I watched and I was quite impressed I do think
I'm not sure I like this I would probably go four stars I just think that canon looked a little
lost that for a 25 minute match although Yuki O'Enerde really did hold this together
but it felt like a lot of like you know Yuki O'Enerde doing a bunch of stuff and then like
canon would get like this big layer it out of nowhere just do a whole spot in and that sort of
thing just a little formulaic but I really did like the ending where you know canon tried to get
up out of the blackout sleeper and then you know as soon as canon gets up you went out you know he's
still holding on he turns it into the WR for the win that was really cool though yeah that was a
fucking really cool finish I actually like like the how they kind of like built like the back half
of the match around the sleeper I think they did that really well mm-hmm I mean he went
so good like right like when oh it's really like he has like put it all together like I think he
is like because the cash does just like a part-timer at best like he like when it really feels like
the ace of DDT know yes and I'll say that's like I mean these are just little gripes from like
you know it's canon like a hundred percent main eventor I think you will be very shortly and I
think this match was like obviously a sign that he will be so don't take my criticisms too
hardly but it's not why I'm giving it four and a half stars or something but I think these
guys could probably do that in the future to be completely honest oh no no I definitely feel like
this is this is I would be shocked if this is the only time we'd see this as a chaotic like
title match yeah and it's funny because I feel like it wasn't that long ago people when not long
after canon came into DDT people were down on him because wow they just saw him in damnation T8
during you know dice case of stockings bidding and that's what I think right yeah he never really
like like because yeah he was just like the lackey for a while and like I think he really has like
worked hard like since like he left damnation to really really like improve and I think like again
like he got revolved of it and and yeah I mean he's the fucking tag team champion as well like
I think they're very very like it's very very obvious that they're trying to like make another
main event there and yeah I think they've succeeded like I don't know if he's gonna be as good
but he's kind of taking the Gucci lane as the big yes yeah like who knows when DDT like new
that like he Gucci was done but like I mean I didn't get you probably already like yeah but then
they probably were already like we probably need to like push like another guy like off that kind
of like vain basically yeah for sure and I mean I love their match with the king of DDT finals
last year for Gucci versus cannon which is like I know that was real which is kind of on like real
coming out party yeah no I think I think I think I think it's a solid prediction to let's say like
cannon wins like the kod title in the next three years I think that's a fair assessment like
I don't think he's like now I mean right yeah but I don't think it's maybe not but with DDT
you don't have to be like is this guy going to be champion in five years he probably will be
because they don't follow the such the strict structures so traditional men's companies do right so
I mean look at sumi right on this very show yeah so viewed in in 2022 I'm actually a wrestler with
like four years of experience winning the GHC national title you know trying to yeah I don't
think there's anybody no not really I mean to be fair I mean you have Ozzawa winning the like
GHC like the big title with like what like two years experience yeah okay I forgot about Ozzawa
there but it's not generally the case no it is not generally the case no no no like generally it
takes a lot longer yeah but like for example like Ueno didn't like win like the kod title
until like the end of 2023 which like he made this debut in 2016 so and then it was announced that
at on in sumo hall on August 11th we're getting Kenosuke Kekashin versus Kaisi Takachi
and the crowd gasp for that yeah are they going to sell out sumo hall yes because he has the
thing like you can't put the an absolute dog set card underneath like DDT Kendra's book like
the worst fucking show underneath that it doesn't like you can like like whatever title match like
okay here's two ways you can go either you put on a title match of two people you want to showcase
to the biggest crowd possible right or you book an absolute fucking throw away title match
underneath that because it doesn't matter because it's gonna sell out anyway I mean you might want
it if you want on that show maybe you want to make a guy and have them beat Ueno for the title
like someone that's never held the title before like a Kenan or I don't think Mao
Kaisi Misata or Mao I don't think Misata is getting it this year either but Mao Mao or yeah
the more I'm thinking about it the more I'm thinking it's gonna be Mao you should just do like yeah
I have Mao beat him at at sumo hall yeah yeah so that is a DDT and then we finally we want to know
a apex conquest 2026 in Yokohama great name on March 8th and Yokohama brutal con in front of
1904 fans of Paul that's really good for Noah in this in this building yeah like they've
traditionally drawn like absolute like pretty badly in that building and Paul do you think this
do you think mr smack daddy is a drawer is this kennel or is it a combination of the two or
what's going on here I mean again like we were just saying right because like when we were
recorded last recorded we were like oh it's just actually selling well and this would be like a
black mark trot cinema if it doesn't actually sell well and now that it's sold well well I think
we kind of need to flip it and say well I mean all of his title defenses have like sold pretty well
yeah I mean there's some there's some asterisks he can make for all of them right like about like
like with the like buddhukan with the like nippon buddhukan right like it being like denied the big
match on everything but like yeah yeah I don't know but like still like again like if he's just on
these if he's just on top of these shows and like they keep selling well like then he has to get
credit for that yeah absolutely I'm not sure that he's necessarily like a bigger draw than Osawa
but he's not far off yeah no I mean it definitely they definitely are like like I was at first I was
like hesitant to say like should he really give like in a more like a big long title reign right
like because I to be quite honest I was unsure how much of a draw he was going to be just because
the crowd being so conditioned to him just being like this like I think I can't lose
it basically but like I don't know like so far the numbers show that like no like they're absolutely
justified and giving his guy a long title reign because he's drawing crowds yes and so we'll see
there and then so to start the show as you see Katoge, Mohamed Yodin, Hajime O'Hara,
you see the Manibusoya, Shuhei Tana Guchi and Madura, Madura Takahashi in 731 with the bussel busster
from Yoni on obviously the Ruki Takahashi, perfectly solid opener and then you had Alpha Wolf,
Kai Fujimura, Tadesuke and Jun Masaoka defeating Ada Kirin, Lacey, Black Mensa Rae and Katsumi in
Ahada in 643 with a pack and file driver from Wolf on Ahada, really hard to get a good feeling
on that one but it was solid but too short then Daimichi Marafuji and Hiroto Saruya defeated
on how Reyes and Rae you see in 853 with the headlock from Marafuji on Rae you say and I thought
I know that a lot of people love to jump on Reyes but I actually thought this is a nice little
like let's insert the that train with a bunch of young guys right here and then Marafuji of course
gets his headlock submission and everything so that was fun and exactly what it needed to be I
thought yeah and I would like to remind people that like Angle Reyes is 24 years old
yeah and this is his first tour of Japan yes like how okay how many times have people had to
eat shit when like a young guy comes into Japan for their first tour they look very very shaky
because they're nervous and unexperienced and then later turn into great workers right well
well Paul I have my I have an axe to grind on this so I will bring up this very example
someone just won the new Japan Cup oh yeah that's true Cal oh my god people were like sending
you deference if you said that Calum Newman isn't the worst wrestler in the world yeah now look at
him exactly same thing applies to Reyes I mean like the guy that like based like did basically
Calum like pattern himself a very heavily which he got criticized for like fucking will all
spray coming into Japan was also a bit shaky at the start Akira Francesco coming into Japan was
a bit shaky at the start mm-hmm yeah I'm almost like this is a pattern yeah um so next up we have
Ozzawa Masakitamiya Takashi Sugera and Noel defeating Kenta Tetsuya and O
Hayata at Udo Koyanagi so sort of like the white raven squad plus Koyanagi the rookie in 910 when
Noel pinned Koyanagi with the mountain Noel so that's not a surprise there and Noel is getting built
back up not much to say here again but now we start getting into the business end of the card
Nose of the house um so Kaito Kiyomiya defeated Galeno in 935 with the figure four like lock pin
or figure four pin I thought it was a little disappointing I was like yeah pretty darling then like
Kaito just gets the win yeah I'm just not again I think we talked about this before I just like
I don't know what Kaito is like doing now mm-hmm like it's just like he kind of dropped like the whole like
matte prince gimmick yeah really doing any of that anymore Galeno's now like Galeno was very much
in just like I'm leaving so I'm just gonna give half effort mode right and yeah I don't know
just really really boring look I if he on commentary made it sound like Galeno and his brother
Wagner's three would be back someday but I highly doubt that yeah I mean it's wrestling so never
say never and who the fuck knows if the soul like wwe triple a thing like works out and I mean
who the fuck loves like randomly releasing people more than wwe so I won't rule it out that
they'll be back but it definitely will be like a while they're not coming back by exchange yeah
no yeah no no no and then for the juic ghc junior heavyweight tag team title dragon been in
Alejandro defeated dogga and daiki otoshima in seven feet 1752 with the twister bane
uh twister bane from bane on otoshima for the title change champions fall on the third defense
with the 65th ghc junior heavyweight tag team champions I mean Paul this was a great match even if I
didn't like the result you know I'm wearing this on the last show like bane and Alejandro won the
tournament by defeating their evil brothers so I don't know I just didn't feel like you needed to
change the titles here but because these teams are so great this was a great match yeah especially
since they now seem to be back to feuding with their evil brothers so yeah that's the thing point
actually I noticed where because I don't know if you did you watch the show from today I did not
okay yeah I can touch on it briefly when we get to it oh okay I didn't even know that yeah
in that life but yeah no I thought this was great I also agree that you could have maybe run with like
dogga and daiki otoshima for a bit longer but I mean like I mean the both of these are great teams
right like yeah I get where you're coming from with daga with daga and daiki like holding it
longer but like I also can't really say like oh it's bad that dragon bane and Alejandro will now
have like a bunch of really great like junior tag title matches so hopefully yeah unless they just
give me my guy maybe they might got sucked into the team 2000 x vortex yeah let's see maybe maybe
I will have to like eat crow now to be fair mr smacked daddy also got pulled into that vortex and
has managed to escape it yes with a title attack somehow yes absolutely um so next up we had
it for the ghc junior title amasca defeated mark through in twalton with the kai koku to make a second
defense of the ghc junior title and paul this is a good solid defense and I kind of figured that
it would be good because I think true and lazy are good solid tag team and I want to see more of
them in noah and this is a good filler defense I thought yeah I mean it didn't like the world on
fire but it was solid enough and again true and lazy is like a team like if you can convince them
to just you know sign up and actually just you know like basically just like be there regularly
I think they can become even better than they are right now
oh yeah this kind of proof that as well and amasca to me is just you know he's pretty damn like I
think he's still somehow underrated like I think people have kind of started to like catch on
that is pretty great like even people that aren't like you know like regular Noah watchers are
slowly starting to become aware that's really great but I think he's still very underrated
absolutely um I know I think it's pretty safe that uh new japan's not going to take him
hey yeah no luckily he's a bit too old and and be his uh her homies friend so he'll end up in
NXT before he does a new job now you might be told for that he might be told for that oh yeah yeah
and then in the main event for the GHC heavyweight championship you're she you're she so you're
easy you're she key in a moron I don't know why couldn't say that you're she in a moron
defeated kenno in 2159 with the discharge to make his fifth defense of the title and all
I would put this on my uh top ten matches of the year I went I think four and a half on this
just a great match of what you expected the hard hitting kennos delivered a great performance
in emura delivered a great performance maybe I'm even giving it extra marks because there's no
bullshit in the match but yeah this was this was great and exactly why I still love
in emura despite the cowboy hat gimmick in the mr. smack daddy stuff I yeah still love him
and this was exactly why I think it also kind of finally proved that like in emura can just have
like a straight like match right because that was a bit of a thing well I mean not with the
kind of what basically reflect the whole team 2000 x where he was like leaning pretty heavily into
like some like w e tropes and everything where he didn't do that here like he just wrestled like
good like Japan style like main event against kenno and he just kind of like beat the shed out
of each other and in emura just put him away definitively and it was just a good clean fight
between two great vessels and I think that's exactly what I needed to like rewrite revitalize
my interest in the style terrain if you need something quick and convenient like my family does
my ultimate high protein dinner hack is grabbing pre-marinated steak tips and making them extra

where like where this goes from here well canter came out and we got to talk about everything
the guy that kind of was challenging and he teased the WWE guy or xwwe guy and then of course
we got treated to the fact that alpha wolf is going to be the next challenger as well so back
into the team 2000 extra more times yeah but I feel like I mean that's also weird though like they're
doing like the national title national like national champion versus the jc champion again
they keep doing that I don't know why like this is what is this even for is this even for the title
no I don't think it's for no it's it's it's not for the national yeah but then it's also like
alpha wolf never really defense that title they they like ever I'm trying to think national title
versus jc champion they did that they did the kennel versus knock a jima yeah remember 60 minute
draw which was a great match yeah and then they had ozawa win it and then he immediately like that
still did a short load of damage to the title I don't think I never recovered from that and then
we've got this back coming up and I feel like there's another one forgetting I'm trying to
think who else would have a champion champion versus champion max and I'm forgetting even if it
wasn't for both titles but just like the challenging for the jc heavyweight champion while the national
champion while the national champion I'm trying to think of this I can't think of one right now but
I also feel like it has happened yeah yeah well it's been funnaki held it no I don't think so I
don't think so so with that we'll go a quick preview to the upcoming Noah shows so on the 27th
at Shinjuku face the main event is Yoshiki Inemora and Dragon Bane versus Alpha Wolf and Nasa
Kitamiya which actually could be a pretty good match yeah I think that's going to be the main event
and you got Harutoki and Alejandro versus Ozawa and Kai Fujimura you got Kazuki Fujita versus
Heroto Saruya circle that one oh yeah to me Saruya is the guy yeah oh wait sorry I forgot
that we kind of need to touch real quick on the show that air today oh right oh yeah because I
watched it live yeah so what happened I mean not much of note really
I think really like the only ones to kind of like touch on quite honestly like I like the like
Yoshiki Inemora versus Katsumi Inemora match oh obviously Inemora won that one I thought
that was really good I think it showed off that like yeah Inemora is going to be like a guy in
the heavyweight division for sure I think he kept up pretty well with Inemora I think again like
I have a feeling he's not going to be a young boy for very long like that they have him like
each it right now as a young boy but I feel like I would be shocked if this last like
past like six months I would not be surprised if he's in the and won this year like
as like probably maybe as like a guy that probably eats a lot of pins in the end one
but I definitely feel like he's going to be like he's going to be a guy pretty quickly
um then otherwise the other thing of note uh well kind of like again they tease more like
Osawa and Itoe right like I mean we're going to have like the tag title match and everything
yeah um and then the four and four elimination match which again I was like the match that was
alpha wolf Kai Fujimura at Tarasuke and Jun Masouka defeating Dragonbane Alejandro Daga and
Taiki Oda Shima well again yet it felt very much like we getting sucked back into like the
brother versus brother stuff because the finish was like well basically like not the finish but like
in the post match like Alejandro was like getting hung again by Kai Fujimura so yeah it feels like
we're going right back into that so I don't know like it it very much feels like this like never
ending team 2000 x vortex but the match itself was pretty good though like I mean as much as I
didn't like that going them going back to that I thought that like elimination match was really really
good because I think these like like elimination matches in Japan like they actually always do
them really really well and like you had like in like basically at the end uh you had like basic
Oda Shima as like a two on one where it was him against uh Tarasuke and Fujimura and like he managed
to like beat uh Tarasuke but then Tarasuke kind of like cheap shot at him after he got eliminated
and then Fujimura kind of like they had like a bit more of a back and forth but then eventually like
Fujimura like beat him uh yeah no I mean again Oda Shima is really fucking good at this I think that's
not shocking to say and uh yeah just really really enjoyed that match just not happy to see like
basically that we go right back to brothers versus brothers when we just had that as like the
finals of a tournament which felt like a definitive win but I guess it wasn't yes uh how is
null versus on how rare is um I think wait when was that oh that was yeah no so I I should actually
say uh I tuned into the show later so I actually actually uh in a world I was in a hat I was like
the first match I saw like the very end of like the uh of like the white Ravensport match and then
I like saw like the rest of the show after that I didn't actually see null versus angleries so I
don't know what that was like I haven't gone back at speaking of which I was first to mention on
the 20th at Kobe Sam Hall from 804 fans I don't even watch one match from the show but it was
the G.H.C. tag team title Tetsuya Nido and Bushi defended against Manabusa and Chujikondo and then
the uh Nido and Bushi won in 1926 when Nido hit actually a decent looking destino on Kondo to make
their second defense of the titles and I would say that this is the best match that Nido has had
in Noah so far which is not his highest praise but it was perfectly fine and god damn didn't
soya and Kondo really carry this oh yeah I don't know I mean I guess it probably helps that Kondo
is a bit smaller yes so he doesn't have to really get up that high yeah yeah no I also agree that
this was like Nido's best match in Noah like a well I I get and I don't think it was nearly as good
as like the Ahoro match like I would actually recommend like if you want to like track that one down
that one was actually really good and see if you if you agree with my vision for Nido
um and and to be fair Nido he spent a lot of time in this match yeah no it was he got a bit
of a bloody chest from Soyuz chops yeah so you know good on him so that was I mean he's probably
realizing that he can't just get away with like absolute minimum effort anymore yeah
it's he he's not gonna retain his heat if he just yeah exactly like that that that's what I
feel like it's what he's realizing that's like oh like my like basically my cheers are fading and
if I don't work a bit hard I'm gonna wear my welcome really quickly yeah especially if you're
gonna work shows and venues the size of Kobe Sembo Hall as opposed to just waiting for like bigger
places so we talked about the show on the 27th so on April 4th um we've got
the main event match and this is in Tokyo Tama Marai Mesa main event is uh uh let's do this
you're cheeky tomorrow versus uh who wrote it through yeah I mean that's uh it's gonna be a lot
of fun uh as a main event that's an interesting choice you've also got Kano Kiyomi versus Koyanagi
and Ozawa versus Takahashi so all the young guys are in singles matches against
made of enters and I think that's could could be really exciting um and uh of course Nado is on
the show and it's all four of the uh uh tranquilos versus uh Kitamiya offable Fujimura and Masaoka
that actually looks like a good show for what it is um yeah do you see that and then on the
April 5th in Shizuoka what do we got here um made event 18 eight man tag match
and another all four members of lost tranquilos de hapon versus Ozawa Kitamiya Maso um and Masoka um
and anything else uh we got Maduro Takahashi versus Kano Kiyomiya and yeah um that's the only
thing notable there uh April 12th apex conquest in Nagoya is where we're getting awful wolf
versus Yoshiki Inama and this is at iichi prefection gymnasium um no i you know sorry the kin
not iichi prefectural gymnasium that closed didn't it um kinjo marina kinjo warfareina i don't know
that belly um so Inama versus wolf Nado and Bushi versus Ozawa and Matujun Masaoka for the tag team
titles and of course Likos gym versus dragon bean and alohander how could we forget that uh why are we
bringing in Likos so that's upcoming Noah and then we're getting a heavyweight tag team tournament
too coming up right and i like last year's that was a lot of fun oh yeah no that i'm happy that
Noah's finally like doing like more like regular tournaments because for a while there was
them just doing the n1 and i was like look you need something to like like boost up like the rest
of your he can't just do one tournament and call it a day like you do need more tournaments because
it kind of felt dire for like stretches of some of the years because they just didn't have much
to sink the teams into but like yeah now that definitely helps a lot more and then uh so that's
switching over to all Japan and i would say final thoughts on Noah looking pretty good i'm a little
concerned about this being dragged back into um um team two thousand x vortex but otherwise
everything you can up and i'm really enjoying watching all of their rookies yeah no no no i mean
that's definitely like i i would like maybe like if team two thousand x like either like like
basically tone that stuff down i think that would have helped me a lot in terms of my enjoyment
of the promotion but like i'm enjoying it like top title like stuff i'm i'm really enjoying like
the junior tag title stuff i think that's generally been pretty damn good uh again a max has a really
good junior singles champion as well so no i i think no it's pretty well no it's pretty well
positioned it's just there's some really like the stuff about Noah that is annoying is really annoying
so it's like it's like this stuff that is good needs to hit really well to overcome this stuff
that is medial knowledge yeah exactly so uh we go all the way back you know i'll Japan to the 15th
of march no sorry the 8th of march i shouldn't keep a first ring for the final new age chronicles show
for three hundred and thirty seven fans because it's a supernova against the whole house um special
tag match to open the show we had real in a way and gaiahawks defeating dan tamara and no bohiko
kimura and ten fourteen with the buzz saw kick from in a way on kimura a gaiahawks can't seem to get
booked for noa was dandy barter does i am so baffled that they picked mazao ka over hawks like
that's not the choice i would have made like not that i think mazao ka is bad but if i have to
pick one of the two i'm picking gaiahawks yeah i don't know and then uh so i was a solid opener
and then of course so singles match okra toa mori defeated juro shin bashi in eight twelve by
pinfall and if you don't know shin bashi is dragon gate salary man gimmick guy yeah
like pump out and like a suit and everything mm-hmm i mean it was what was much like
the special handicap after odyssey defeated segota bana and showed a kofuji in nine forty two
with the journeys and on kofuji um and then the business quote unquote business under the car
special tag match red abay and talos defeated bohiko zuki jr and kazuma kimura of dragon gate in
nine fifty five with the iron maiden from ayabay on uh kimura which i thought was a solid match
you know i really like that yeah and then in the main event june sato atskiyaki and yuma
anzai defeated rase sato raki haunted rising hado in 1930 with the gimlet from anzai and hiato
which was a good main event um you know not knock your shot socks off but you know but for a good
main event for this kind of show at shikiba and suddenly anzai might continue this new age chronicle
thing in his own branding so we'll see what happens with that yeah i mean we're not i i they've
gone for like a couple of different like iterations of this exact concept now right and i kind of
like that it seems to be that also like whoever it is kind of branded for is also who's actually like
running the shows yeah like i think that's actually smart to like teach guys that it's
that are younger like how to actually like book and everything and like how to like organize
like stuff at the show so giving that to anzai now i think is very very smart like that's exactly
what you should do because you kind of want them to be ready to like maybe like take over a bit more
like responsibilities of the booking and and like organizing of the shows and everything for sure
no word on when that's going to start well it'll probably start at some point in a couple of
months we'll hear about it um because i'm sure they have all these shikiba dates booked already
yes yeah they already know when it's going to start yeah uh so then we go to march 15th at
quarket hall in front of 1,278 fans and paw i'm going to say that's a decent little number for
this card i got to i think yeah i mean it's not like it's really like a blowaway card yeah for basically
out uh getting this in in quarket and without cantoe in a triple crown match is pretty good i mean
it shows that the sideos are still draws to certain extent i think too uh paw they finally put up
hadecki Suzuki versus yuma aoyagi on a jpw.tv do you have you seen it yet
no i actually haven't seen it yet i watched it this morning it's just 15 minutes of grappling
oh god damn it yeah i don't think i'm going to go back to that
nah it's not worth it um you might got a huge pop though when he came out
i mean fair enough i mean at least i mean he is still over like i mean he cannot deny that but it's like
yeah i don't i i i think that's going to be one of the more interesting stories for like
this year is to see what what happens to you my aoyagi yeah so uh the first official match
mind you i don't know why this was made a this wasn't broadcast live i'm so baffled by that
so the main show msada defeated shoulder kofuji in six fifty through the small package hold
i'm kind of surprised at kofuji and win this if he's going to be to anyone it's msada yeah yeah
and i also i don't know why msada wasn't wearing his senior seto mask yeah and she tries but
uh i bizarre oh you know but anyway you know maybe he gets made differently
uh perfectly good opener considering it featured msada as well say yes kofuji carried that match
yeah uh then go shizaki shitaro ashi no zan and odyssey defeated hoko toa mori in a rookie doi kota
sakafuda and uh toshiyuki sakuda they're back i like sakafuda but sakuda stink is already
won over one it's welcome and i'll just pay anyway uh havoc one in ten forty four with the echo lock
from a shino on omori so the two guys left out of the champion card of all uh take it to the
finish to the match it was it was perfectly fine uh triple crown skirmish kumorashi daisuke sakamoto
masa yuki kono and sakotachi vana defeated kentomiyohara raki honda yuma and zan musashi in eleven
forty nine with the cross body attack from arashi on honda so a bit of a big attack on um
uh big win from honda going into it and of course you get the whole title uh go up to the
tab because kentom is running down wrestle one and honda sort of gives a rashi the cold shoulder
even though some of the other wrestle one guys are supporting him we'll get more on that
later uh you know it was probably fine good build up match i mean all these guys are mostly good
except for kono who's one of the easiest wrestlers yeah like book and kono in 2026 as a fucking
choice yes yes it is um and then the zinichi junior tech festival semi final real in a way
mochi zuki junior defeated dan tam on hikaru sato in 15 53 with a buzz off kick from in
away on sato and that this might be in always because when it's career um great match they
have me on the edge of my seat because i honestly didn't know who was going to win this and i
watch it live so great works to them great tough to them i really enjoyed that match and then
in the next semi final aski ariyagi rising hyde defeated seki or shioke and you just assume
in 1834 with the Sid vicious from hiato on yoshioka uh it was actually better than i thought it was
going to be because of a certain mr sasumu but tell you know i didn't i didn't like as much as the
the other semi final but it was probably fine i mean i have to say i mean sasumu isn't good or
anything but i think he over delivered an atonement like it's it's it's it's not that he was good but
it's like he didn't actively drag down the matras that he was at no no and and the match are
well because they left the finishing stretch to uh hio and yoshioka in a pretty way i mean that i mean
that's what they did and like i mean very notably like every single time like like seki or shioka
was the one in the finishing stretch yeah like sasumu was like basically like okay i did my stuff
and then he got out of the fucking way yeah um and then the main event for the world tag team
championship uh red and abay and talos defeated june set on race set on nineteen fifty eight with the
death roulette from abay on june which is always a very impressive thing to see to make their third
defense much like i expected honestly i'm glad i called this and paul this is a lot of fun
i don't want to overstate it okay this is not a fighting knuckle four stars on this match i went
like three and three quarters but this definitely exceeded my expectations and abay and talos are
really jelling as a team and did you see talos do the boba trapper in this match i mean come on
yeah oh no talos gets it talos gets it yeah talos gets it especially for a guy of his size right
like uh compare him to like i don't know um who's that other guy in a e w the really tall guy
side them sing oh yeah who could never do this right no
and that's uh yeah i mean and it was right booking decision too because they got something here
yeah no i definitely did not expect that i would enjoy like like if you asked me like a year ago if
i would enjoy like a nearly 20-minute match involving rena yabe and talos i would have been like
are you out of your mind uh but no like they've they've actually like they've all depend really really
found something with these two guys here like they gel and try to be well and i think it's working
on this for rena yabe as well yeah oh yeah i mean he's he's doing better and he can see his
confidence growing for every match basically yeah but wait paul there's more because
let's do everyone shock rena and talos are going to be participating in the crocodile cup
he's coming to japan and he's coming to america so can you believe out of all of the guys
of the all japan roster they went and got a visa for rena yabe i mean to be fair that's probably
talos like arranging that but still yeah that yeah that is very funny uh and i mean they had at
billy as they call him uh put a video on on x doing it like announcing it and everything right so uh
is uh because we thought when uh remember when um ec3 made his appearance in alter
now i'm trying to forget that to be quite honest uh so what what is this is this talos just doing
rena favor or do you really think there's a relationship i think i think this is just like
because talos is like a nw a guy i think that was probably just the nw a being like hey or him
going to the nw a and being like hey you i've got the crocodile cup coming up like i'm
teaming with this guy in japan right now can you bring him in and then we'll just like
we're gonna be in a crocodile cup together i think that's how that went i don't think that it's
really is like a relationship between the two yeah um well i suppose like another thing is uh i
think there's something here about because they announced this is a storyline because they announced
so late um they have to they're not they're like being just giving the lowest seed so they actually
like had they they're gonna buy or anything which is interesting how far do you think they're
gonna go in this tournament i mean the good brothers are in this tournament um and uh you've got uh
odinson uh also former al japan uh wrestler who teams with talos are known sorry not talos
kratos they've got a tag team and um we got uh who are these tag teams the mortals i don't even know
who that is oh that's uh that's uh sorry that is that is kratos and i was about to say yeah that's
kratos no yeah yeah they're the mortals yeah yeah um and i don't know all these other tag teams you
got the pope and mims uh i'm just going by who i recognize that and that's that is that is that
literally like pope the angelo denaro yeah yeah oh god he was good like 15 years ago um you got pretty
boy smooth and pastor celo oh the cologne's primo and epico oh god i mean talking about people that
weren't good 15 years ago joe kazana and the country gentleman i don't i don't know who that is um so
yeah um i mean i could see them i could see them go pretty far i mean every tall right like i don't
think i think there like there's no way they're going out and like the first round no so i don't think
this i like at the same time i don't think there's any chance that they're winning because i don't
think like all japan is all right yeah it's probably going to be the good brothers yeah i mean
i wouldn't be shocked if that's the final oh i would i wouldn't allow that i just have the blues
and the semis to another team that let their good brothers become in the final to beat them in the
finals yeah yeah and then they go back to net well they haven't been back to know yet so no and again
they were doing well and know i like i'm surprised they actually have for their brief
for their brief noa random where they worked hard yeah which i mean that kind of has to feel like
shit for them as well but they're like okay we actually put an effort for once and we don't get
booked again i didn't bite but it like isn't there a sumo hall in like may or something
yeah i did yeah i mean yeah i mean they might be i mean fuck it might beat them versus like
knight or in blue sheet yeah that's right but yeah look if for whatever reason if you can't get
them to win you have them glues to i don't know uh the mortals in the semis are something
instead of oh yeah i know i could use it in the final you know yeah and it's probably a bit
eruption yeah that's fair uh so that's the big news coming out of that guy we move on
to uh march 20th at asforta arena hajikoji main arena front of 1,750 fans which uh
i think they've done more in that building i keep but they we have um so but you know whatever
they drew more than they would have been cork and hall so i think that's a good that's a good
thing that's like that's the bare minimum of success if you ask me yeah so to start off the show
uh reiki hot and yuma anzai defeated yumaeo yagi and hoko too mori and eight thirty two with the final
vent honda and omori poor omori but uh this is actually a pretty good opener and a lot of fun
so i thought it set the tone very well uh and then you had mr. saddo nuruki doing senior
cider defeating kota sekafuda and toshiyuki sakuda and eight twenty eight with the bacatari
siding kick for the door in sakuda and they kept it short uh it's the best i could say right uh
i like sakafuda and i would keep using him if i were all japan but i mean sakuda's i don't i don't know
for one of the reason they always have to have like they always sometimes will have um
like a deathmatch guy in the undercard being a deathmatch guy and i don't know what the point of
it is yeah it's very weird like sakuda's fucking great in a deathmatch but like it i don't know what
this is supposed to be i mean i i get it while they did it with onida even though it was horrible i
get it because it's onida i don't want to do it for like a guy in a very small from a very small
company like sakafuda is like like sakuda is great like fucking like i'll like again one of my all-time
favorite spots is like when it like during the pandemic when they did the like freeway deathmatch
uh in like the like literal like uh baked japan dojo and he just like fucking drank his own
blood out of his arm like like guess he's a fucking thicker but like it's not a guy you just
put in like a fucking like standard tag match like that's not where he excels
mm-hmm and then uh so our first tides of calamity versus set of brothers singles match
talos defeated june seto in 13 minutes with the ride the lightning daddy
paul my god this was a lot of fun again like three and a half but still like i was like you know
a little apprehensive but this was so much fun yeah like i was shocked how good this was to be quite
honest yeah and like i got to say like man they should have waited another year before they belted
june seto yeah june has like i think june has actually become better yeah oh yeah like it might
have actually been better if they had belted them up the i like i get what i did it last year
yeah because like given his age and body and everything you can really count on him becoming
better unfortunately but like right now he still is somehow yeah yeah i mean i thought he was
getting better towards the end of his reign but it just went was just going on too long it was just
time to get it off of him yeah i just didn't get it anymore yeah talos did his part two here like
don't get me wrong and he took some bumps and everything right uh so this was like the shocky thing
and look if you're having a good match like this is a june seto i think i'm a little more uh so we
say um hopeful for the carnival oh yeah no for talk about the block later but uh i think so that's
a good sign and then in the middle uh we get a mousashi dan tamara yu yu is to suma and food
winariabe defeating the sego taichibana showed a kofuji hikaru sato and sekki or shioka in 1056 with the
power bottom from tamara on taichibana and after this match um yoshiyoka and mousashi continue their
feud continued their food feud so that was a solid little match i thought um and then suwama
edeki says we can eat dice case sakamoto and kanko machimo defeated ghost shio zaki shurtaro shino zan
and audicy when suwama used the backdrop suplex to win to pin a shino oh man poor guy i mean i mean okay but
like at for ones that like i'm not super upset by that because a shino also said he's gonna take off
some time right now my question is is this he's taken off time because he's down the carnival or
he was always gonna take off time and that's what he's on in the carnival i'm i think i think it is
the latter i think it's the latter ready probably we're like oh yeah i have to take off some time i
can't do the carnival this year and they were like okay like yeah um i did like this match though
and i liked because of uh they're building to a suwa they seem to be building towards suwama
versus go yeah which i'm into that for sure i'm into that for sure and uh puba if you ask me that
would make a good first defense for ghost shio zaki once he wins the triple crown don't you think
i mean yeah that seems like a logical one yeah and again given that suwama is like only taken very
sparing bookings it probably makes sense to start building that feud now because exactly because
yeah you're not gonna have that many shows that you'll be on and yeah that you're that's a good
cork in mean event yeah this might actually be a bit of a giveaway that like go is like winning
yeah well i saw someone i'd say oh we might be getting govers to suwa on the chamber in carnivals
well i don't think so uh yeah i don't know i don't my my uh my feelings about go winning haven't
changed so i think it's too and look if you look at the way this company is booking look how many
it was a couple of months ago where they started giving kumarashi a bunch of singles with
yeah and now he had a challenge was unexpected but they were building him up for something
yeah like in hindsight it's really obvious that's what they were doing yeah so i would not be shocked
if this really is a triple crown match in a few couple of months like probably in june though
because you know you got to have go win the count carnival and then beat kento and then you get to
uh suwama yeah so that titans of clammy's versus the set of brothers second match
red and i have a defeated race settle in 1339 with the iron maiden i mean this was in as good as
the other match um that's for sure but i don't think it was as nearly as bad as it could have been
although i don't know how long race settle is going to hold together to be completely honest with you
yeah it really seems like out of the two of them it really seems like he is the one that is like
starting to kind of like i mean he's already got his shoulder taped up yeah uh well i mean he was
out with his shoulder industry it continues to be taped up he's already had to change his style
it's been out with his shoulder injury twice twice and after the first time he stopped um
during the top road's flash and everything like that so uh yeah i mean he's looked decent
enough when he's come back i just don't think i you know it's funny because i was so high on
ray at one point but i think i think june has passed him yeah june has passed him unfortunately
i was also always like a lot higher on ray than i ever was on june originally but yeah i think at
this point i think it's pretty safe to say that like june is the better like he's going to be like
a bit more of the standout of the team essentially um and then we had sent me me an event to zenichi
junior tag festival the final at ski aayagi and rising had it if you do real in a way and
much as you can junior in 2549 with the firebird splash from aayagi on in a way i mean to me this is
the best match for the show well not a little long but it was still really great i'd go about
four stars even on it maybe a gentleman's for if you will um you know uh maybe a little uh meandering
in the middle but good really good finishing stretch uh there with in a way and aayagi although
i still maintained at the wrong team what yes no absolutely i probably would have gone higher on this
match if they had like switch the like year like uh no but like yeah in a way was so fucking awesome
and this yeah like he to me he really was like i thought this match was great and i think in a way
was the best out of everybody and like he really like kept this together like he really was the guy
that like you could also feel the crowd just like you know like just being like the crowd was ready
for him to win too like the crowd really desperately wanted him to win this and i think it took
a little bit of energy out when he lost but i mean it was still a pretty damn great match and again
or anyway really showed like he's ready to like take the next step like he really is ready to like
ascend to like up the card now and yeah no this was fucking awesome like awesome performance
brother you anyway like i think i think he i think i think i think they're actually setting
him up for like a breakout year um do you think it's possible that uh aayagi and hiato don't
win the aayagi tag titles i mean like he has the thing right like and that's why i wanted to like
in a win much izuki to win because i just made more sense for them to win the titles but like
i don't know why do we go through this entire tournament if they don't win and the titles come back
to new japan i don't know yeah we'll see uh i don't suppose you watched the uh Fuji and
mocha zuki versus uh strong machine jant had sui for janami did you
no i didn't watch that no i haven't got a chance to watch that either i i really need to
um i know i'm pretty no i'm not trying to get at the moment
a lot of people are yeah it seems to me the uh the the case um everything like that and then
for the triple crown well which is interesting because what's going to happen with
kakura in this tournament yeah again like the the other thing is like it wouldn't have been so much
either to book kakura in this tournament if he wasn't a fucking dream game champion
we shall see we shall see and the main event uh for the triple crown kepto me a hard defeat
kumorashi in twenty three fifteen with a shutdown german suit pucks to make his six defense of the title
um i mean it was just okay i mean the finishing stretch was good but
i just felt like i wasn't i was sort of expecting kumor to be a little more
debt more dynamic and step up and um it just didn't feel like that outside of a few minutes at
the end and uh you know i really don't think you could stick him in twenty minute matches the um
that um i guess the way best way of putting it would be that match against second motor was like
a much better idea for him to do yeah i don't know like that that that this was too long
it was fine but it definitely wasn't to the level of like a triple crown match i think that's very
safe to say because i think especially for kentumi ahara like triple crown match days just like
yeah it different standard to it and like for example like i think the talos match felt much more
like a triple like i don't think that was like a match of dear contender anything but that to me
felt much more like a triple crown match than this that um although i will say like
they did do a good job of building up the match at least because again when it was announced i
was pretty down on it because again i mean it was obviously kumor ashi isn't going to win a triple
crown but i thought like the way like they build it up if like kentou constantly running down
wrestle one and then all of the wrestle one guys including honda like coming out to like back up
kuma i thought that was really fucking cool but i would also say that i was the best part of the
match was was like kuma's entrance i mean it was solid it wasn't bad or anything i wish there's
kind of mostly there and then kentou did like a pretty like perfunctory kentumi ahara finishing
sequence to like put them away yeah i mean i don't have the finishing sequences and that's also
finishing sequence right probably yes it's a kentumi ahara kentumi like that there is i think there
is an actual really high floor on like how bad those can be like at worst they're good
exactly and uh you know now we go into the carnival uh but one quick thing before we get to
the carnival box uh did you watch any of the show paul on the 21st um no i can't have it okay
let me actually go over this no i didn't make a decision this more center like yeah this is
yuma anzai's hometown basically and i only watched the main event which was yuma anzai
rauki haunted akio yagi defeating kentumi ahara oh no wait i i watched i watched the semi main
and the main actually know that if you know that i look over there actually because i was like wait a
minute i did watch them a koto you should match no well how was the semi main i mean yeah that was
the semi main no i watched the semi main and the main well the semi main was the cito brothers versus
having so it was like go shutarashino Zion and Odyssey versus the sideos it's saying you're
and the koto are we she how was that match and it wasn't it wasn't very good
yeah it is well yeah i mean what do you expect main event though was pretty good and honestly i
kind of went straight for the heel heat right under the gate which was awesome
yeah he got some real booze let me tell you okay oh yeah no this was very much
like yuma anzai territory like kentumi it was like yeah i'm in like enemy like territory i'm
gonna fucking lean into this yeah it was a fun match and they draw they drew very well but this
was very much still a house show they didn't really give you anything except for that main event
with anzai getting all the rope yeah right everything else is pretty um how showy if you actually
look at the results right yeah so no i mean it was just like it was very much just like there it
was just nothing special i know at 1365 i mean that that goes a long way i think in proving what
anzai is which is why you know you should put them back at the top of the cards you know it's no
i mean you know but like any all Japan show that does over a thousand people outside of
Tokyo is isn't accomplishment for them yeah i always say so all right so we go to the carnival
blocks block a raceado kentumi ahara goshio zaki yuma anzai kuma arashi kengo machino
machimo talos an odyssey b block hidekisu zuki rena yabe june settle right gihonda dice case
second moto madoka kakura zion and sirus pal what do you think of these blocks because it seems to be
they tried to yeah someone really tried to even them out instead of going with an incredible
one a bad yeah yeah um i mean on the one hand after head made like one really good block i could have
been like i'm really like i'm basically guaranteed a banger like right like you you're guaranteed
like bangers in that block but on the other hand like it's probably makes for an overall better
tournament what they've done here yes because yeah there's going to be some stinkers but like there's
also going to be some great matches and if they didn't kind of like set it up correctly they
can at least guarantee that at least there's like one good match on every show one like
or that that is like two good matches on every show as well yeah so yeah i it probably makes for an
overall like better tournament like the way they actually set this up now rather than just putting
all the good guys in one in one block yeah um what are your feelings about this hat do you still
think um i i'm still going with go versus juni in the set finals and the bot doesn't just
tell me yeah i mean that seems like the most likely one right like i could see i mean i think
it's pretty safe to say that go is coming out of his block yeah canter it like the only weird
fingers like is canter beating go and uh i mean probably right like canter's probably beating go
like in the block i think you have canter beat go in the block because well not necessarily because
then you go up one one since they since goes come back to all Japan so maybe i don't know right
but my the only thing is i don't know because i should i was going to bring this up
because on the first night at quark and hall we've also got go versus anzai and so that's like
another one where it's like who i don't quite know like do you want go to beat anzai because frankly
i think anzai should be chasing go for the triple crown later this year yeah so you probably have
go when there yeah but then yes i mean i mean could go just kind of like i mean go can also like i
mean he can lose to like the tall like he can lose to like talos yeah because i don't think he's
like sweeping the block right but if you then excuse like canter like and you are beating him
then somebody has to beat him i mean i guess i could see both anzai and shiosaki and
kento beating him but one at least one of them will beat him i'm probably i'm going to lean towards
kento actually and then he beats anzai and that's a good story for later uh but then the first
block yeah no sorry go ahead no go i was going to go talk about the rest of the first opening night
oh yeah no then just really quick on like b-block basically i mean june i think like the way it
shakes out i think i agree that like go was june is probably the most likely final just based on like
what they've done like at the like new years you've shown everything like i think really the only other
one i could see come out of b-block is kikuta if you kind of just want to do like a championship
championship carnival like final that like you know like they don't give away like it's
going to be a big match but they don't have to give away one of their own big matches
which is what they kind of did like a few years ago when they did uh she know versus um versus
t-hawk so like that's the only argument i can make for like kikuta coming out of the block instead of
june right well they've already done june versus go so i think this is a good time to do it again uh
so the other match on opening night which uh oh i don't know this could be an interesting night
here because we got ray set of versus kumarashi i don't know man this should be like seven minutes
yeah would be good for you yeah it turned to be long we got talos versus kangle machimo which
could actually be good if machimo like wants to like you know get all creative and trying to like
take down talos like kicks and submissions i think that matches very heavily dependent on kangle
machimals like motivation levels yes pa we have the return of one of the worst matches of last year
decki Suzuki Zion oh no i mean maybe maybe this time he'll want to try he'll want to try because
you know Zion has has improved i mean let's yeah let's be honest i mean again that match being bad
wasn't even on Zion that was a success no it was hadecki but i wonder if hadecki thinks like oh
this guy's not ready yet so i'm just gonna do now i don't know yeah getting in the mind of hadecki
is impossible uh then we got right on our bay versus dune sido which i got to say like i have
reasonably decent expectations for oh yeah after like these guys have been doing yeah no i mean
especially with like right now actually like having a lot i think this is really like it is
going to be like an important like champion carnival for rena yabe yeah and then finally the other
map the final match on the show wow i don't know if it's a mean event but it's last one listed here
daisuke sekamoto versus psirus i assume go versus ansai will be the main event um i don't know
what to think because it could be kind of fun and it could be just bad it depends how psirus is like
yeah um so okay so let's zoom ahead to like the last couple of nights to see maybe uh what could be
happening here let's go to me okay um so the second last night is on the third in uh tochigi
of all places um and then because you know they don't have people get a night sauce and this is
why i go to the last two shows in this case so we've got here goshio zaki versus keigo machimo yuma and
zai versus kuma arashi talos versus odyssey hadecki Suzuki versus kakuda madoka or madoka kakuda sorry
rena yabe versus reiki handa june sado versus zai on none of those scream like a decider match
not really actually you know versus kakuda no actually you know which one actually seemed like the
most like a decider match there rena yabe versus handa yeah that's very possible and then the actual
for sure last blockdite Tuesday may 5th at korkin we've got kanto versus kango machimo goshio zaki
versus odyssey ray sado versus yuma hanzai kuma arashi versus talos hadecki Suzuki versus june sado
rena yabe versus madoka kakuda reiki handa versus dice case second moto and cyrus versus zai on
call what do you think of that this this kango versus kanto seems like could be uh
master mode knocking them out yeah that screams just kango machimo like beating kanto to like
eliminate him yeah yeah and ray that's the most obvious one and ray sado knocking out hanzai yeah exactly
and then go uh uh beats uh wait who's it obviously all the same yeah I mean that's that's like I
mean that would be another one that would be like an upset like eliminate go but yeah that also
just feels like the weird thing is there isn't really any image that i would say is like
this match decides the block it's just like a bunch of mattress where i'm like this could be an
upset to eliminate so maybe the only one i would be like this is like to decide who wins the block
would be ray versus anzai but like i don't know that's not what this feels like at all that like
who knows but maybe it is anzai and ray for the win for the winner i mean i don't think you could
also underrate yeah i don't underrate hadecki versus june sado that could be sado block yeah
yeah and i could actually be a good match too yeah because they they do have this strange chemistry
and of course uh sado's desire that will be quite the match to watch that that that will be something
uh i mean i love her as kukuta i'm like i don't that could be that that one i'm interested in
like that could be a decider like if kikuta is going through then i wouldn't be shocked if the
block comes down to like ren res kikuta mm-hmm um yeah so it sounds like oh go in and uh
shutaro shino are gonna work the two a w uh core could show this sunday on the 29th and they are
facing q mugami and kangle machimo for the two a w tag team championship match
right champ for the titles are they gonna have kangle like tap out a shino or pinoshino in this
nah not into it w but you're gonna want the title oh damn oh yeah right because it's yeah i mean
i guess then yeah you have to have shino's leaving for a couple of months yeah it's i don't think
it's out of the realm of possibility yeah you know what no no i'm thinking about it yeah that's
probably actually what's gonna happen here well let's see here okay because uh there's a shinkiba
show on the april third which is the road to champion carnival and uh the main event of that show
is kanto go june and zy versus racedos zizuki honda and zion very interesting uh listen to some
of these batches say go attach your body to fubanori oboe versus dan tamara and auditsi
no i mean that might also be like one of the like last like bookings like abba was taking right what's
happening with abba oh he just had like a big match with on like a ddc show where he had a match with
huge negata i know i haven't seen that yet i want to watch it um but is he king time off
no but i think he's one of the guys like new japan is gonna poach abba really i didn't know that
oh i mean it would make sense right like yet like a big match like like i think anybody that now
has like a big match with like a new japan guy probably should be especially like of junior size
like it's weird that yeah negata has a match with a guy that is like junior sized
sure sure okay yeah i didn't think of that that yeah that's like the watch out for two
um i mean that's a massive loss for like the independent scene it is uh r-i-p uh fighting detectives
y'all yeah know that i mean hey it might just become like a new japan like producer no
uh the show looks fun because then you've got also the opening matches kofu g versus second moto
and aiyaki and hokotou are teaming again against kengo and mashtamao and yuko Miyamoto but perhaps
what's interesting here is we got a two a w versus all japan match shotaro shino versus ayumu
handa which makes me wonder if she was going to get his win back over a two a w guy there
so that i believe let me just double check here is the last all japan show yep it's the third
she keeps the last all japan show before the carnival so you can look forward to that uh so i think
we leave the show on a positive note when you say paul they seem pretty decent pretty good
yeah uh i mean i mean i was just gonna try again because i don't remember have we already talked about
shinchuku face dying oh no i think yeah it's been so much time after that shinchuku shinchuku face is
closing um it barely affects all japan oh it's not affecting all japan on the slide to say if
had five shows in there at like all time they really only started like semi regularly booking it
and like the last three and that's like one show a year Monday magic has moved has moved to shinkiba
already hasn't it yeah they've done like one one season was interesting kiba yeah yeah the most
recent yeah yeah so okay fine they'll they'll do that or they also have radiant hall mind you those
are smaller than shinkiba the yukahama radiant hall and shinkiba but they're already there but uh
this hurts great i think yeah greatest hurt by this like a lot of like josey promotions are really
badly hurt by this yeah tjpw yeah ddt ddt was running a lot of shows in shinchuku face
yeah uh i mean people talk about it because it's just how much turnover there is in architecture
and buildings in tokyo that you know cork is gonna be here forever no it's not like that that that
one is going to devastate the scene that one is going to be like an actual like like promotions might
close because karkin is no longer there while they but the only the only the only way that would
mitigate is if they basically made tokyo dome city hall the same price as corks yeah exactly but
then it's also the question like what what happens with i don't know if that would be affected by it
i don't know yeah uh because i mean but here's the thing uh karkin is safe as long as there are no
like approved plans to build a new baseball like dome somewhere in tokyo but aren't isn't that
always still isn't that being buried about though it is being buried about but like i
haven't heard anything about like any concrete plans and also the other like again
this isn't going to be like a surprising thing right like this isn't going to be like a thing
well like oh it's gonna be happened all of a sudden because eight and you dome needs to be approved
then you actually need to start construction then it actually needs to finish construction and be
open and only then they're gonna like start tearing down like the current dome and then probably like
karkin hall as well so like this will be a thing that promotions will have like a long time to
prepare for like it's still gonna hurt them but it's not gonna like this seems to be a thing that
kind of came out of nowhere more or less yeah um also our uh big blow to the sketchy-ass promotions
like ppp oh yeah but they're already running out like somewhere in like Yokohama or whatever
or like yeah yeah kind of sovereigns like yeah oh god like the sketchy of the
yeah i mean it definitely feels like wrestling is kind of like getting priced out of like central
Tokyo right now that definitely feels like a thing yes whatever like the the new venues are always
like more on like the outskirts of the city basically yeah well i mean and it's so important for
these these small companies to have somewhere to run in in central Tokyo yeah yeah
okay so yeah that that definitely is something that will hurt like smaller promotions a lot more
than bigger promotions unfortunately for sure for sure yeah we'll have to keep it watch it but this
could just be a slow motion bleed out for the scene in in central Tokyo yeah i mean that that's
what it feels like right now unfortunately yeah i have to figure it i just yeah like um
because all these other places like just ideally sizewise it's back is differ's gone although differ
was a little smaller than korkin and there's no like so with shing juku you lose like what a 500 cedar
about that yeah there are about shifting a little less and shing kiba i mean obviously there's
the location but it's also shing kiba isn't necessarily badly located to be honest because it is
right next to like a major line like you like for example like i was staying in uh in weno
at the end of the trip right i can i went to like a show i went to the zero-wanching kiba show
and that really was only like a 20-minute like right for me to get there like it's not
inconvenient but that only holds like 350 absolute max yeah no no no it's not it's not a replacement yeah
so that is what it is but well we'll definitely have to keep our eyes on that so
part of know uh we might have to wait a bit because there's very little coming on this very
little going on uh in early may until the time we get going you mean early april and i'm taking
eight times yes no no no early april with the things but uh maybe we'll something will come up
and we'll something back but we'll be back in a couple of weeks to get into the big shows for
know i had of course we begin the championship cardinals so we'll see you in a couple weeks
