White With Fear is a new documentary premiering on PBS this March.

White With Fear examines the decades-long political strategy of exploiting racial division and white victimization narratives for power and profit. Told by operatives, insiders, and policymakers in the rooms where it happened, the film traces how racial fear has been deliberately amplified by certain politicians and right-wing media to undermine democracy.

 

The documentary features first-person interviews with figures including Hillary Clinton, Steve Bannon, Rep. Jamie Raskin, former Fox News reporter Carl Cameron, and Lincoln Project co-founder Stuart Stevens, alongside leading historians and experts. The film offers a timely, clear-eyed look at how racial bigotry has been weaponized in modern American politics—and its impact today.
