1:01It's Vegas, baby. It's all happening this week. And this is the one time where what happens in Vegas most definitely does not stay in Vegas. The ripples from Vegas drafts can become a tsunami and the very best drafts are the ones right after the weekend games where ADP is taking its final form. If you've never been at ground zero for all the craziness, you are definitely missing out. I went for the first time in 2013. I can't even imagine not being there now. I've met so many great people. It's a delightful mix of cutthroat and community. The trash talk, it's savage, it's hilarious. Everybody pulls out their best draft moves and surprises. It is in every way the final boss. But before we go there, there's only one thing left to do. And that's this show. And that's right. It's Kicker Week this week. Kicker Week, Dan. Did I send the wrong show?

2:03Didn't you guys get the show? Kicker Week. Kicker Week. Interesting. Yeah. No, I have to say, Theo stole our bet. He did a whole show on Kickers. I'm mad. I saw that and then he fouled up with a defensive show. So, he had to deal with putting in the work there. Man, that's pure plagiarism right there. I'm telling you. How are we feeling, boys? Good, good. Oh, man. What a great week. What a great day. I mean, great week. It's been a hell of a run for this last week as the season gears up today and tomorrow, the last two drafting days that we'll be drafting with the board as we know it, right? After tomorrow night, the board's going to start changing for the last four days of draft. So enjoy the last two days here of the same flow of drafts.

3:03And then these next two games are going to change the board drastically. And it's going to make drafting really fun and interesting. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. All right. So, guys, Dan, I apologize. Can I go off script for two minutes? All right. Don't mess Dan up like this, Nelson. You came over to me on script. All right. That's what we do here, Nelson. We go home. Listen, real quick, rapid fire. I want predictions from each of us on how we think those two games are going to go. And what key players you guys are predicting will move up, which ones will move down based on their production in the game. Just give me your, it can be a fun prediction. It doesn't have to, you know, we don't know how the game's going to play out. I think that these two games are going to be stinkers. That's going to be my prediction. I would have had high hopes for a Rams 9ers game, but I just think that this travel to Australia is really

4:04going to mess things up. I expect this Seahawks Patriots game to be an absolute snooze fest 20 to 14 type. And when that happens, and AJ Brown gets locked down in this opener, I think AJ Brown falls to the end of the second round. I think that's middle to the end of second round over reaction after one game. That is my prediction. Dan. All right. I'm going to say that if it weren't for the differences and approaches on the travel to Australia, I think that the Rams would be wiping the floor with the 49ers. But given that the Rams are going out there so close to the start of the game, hey, I've flown to Australia. It's no joke. I think it is easier going out there than it is coming back, but still, I'll be interested to see how they perform. But I think the Rams pass offense is going to look pretty

5:07good, regardless. I think the 49ers are going to hang with them, though. And I'm looking at probably, I'm thinking Stafford and Devonte Adams might move up in the other game. I don't know. I'm kind of with Chris. I see this as kind of a low scoring game. I don't think anybody's going to really move much off of it. What do you think, Nelson? OK. My prediction's a little more exciting than you guys. It's so good. I'm going to. Puka is going to go off, and he's going to surpass Jamar Chase as the number one receiver off the board. And there's going to be drafts that we're going to see in Vegas that Puka goes first overall over Gibbs in Bejohn. So that's my prediction for that game. I think like pretty much like with the 49ers, I actually think McCaffrey is going to drop and live at the end

6:10of the first round, probably like the one to turn. I can't see him getting much done with that Rams defense. Everyone else kind of status quo. New England Seattle game. I am with Chris. I actually think AJ Brown and JSN both have stinkers of a game, and they're going to drop. I think JSN is going to be same thing. People are not going to want to take that low score. It's just going to be unappealing. He's going to drop to the end of the first round. That's where he's going to live. AJ Brown, I actually think we'll make it to the third round. In drafts. I wasn't even that bold then. I know. No, no, no, no. Come on. End of the second round. End of the second round. It goes on the top 15 every draft. Top 10. Ramandre Stevenson is going to have a huge workload.

7:10He's going to score a touchdown. He's going to have a good game. And I believe that he's going to move up into the end of the third round, the third fourth round. I think he's going to go ahead of Breast Hall, Javante Williams, Kyron Williams, all those guys. So RB 13 basically. After the big 12 when Derek Henry comes off the board, there's that low. We feel what we're seeing now in drafts is Javante Williams looks locked into that RB 13, that next name off the board with the news of the Dallas backfield getting kind of cleared out here. And Javante looking more like a bell cow. Javante RB 13. And you're saying Ramandre is going to compete for RB 13 off the board pretty much after the opener. I think people when they're drafting and they're seeing Ramandre's 20 plus points is my prediction. When they see that, that's going to be enticing. And they're just he's going to go in leapfrog, all those

8:12running backs that we see go like end of the third early fourth round. OK. So two things with that. If our predictions are correct and Nelson, your predictions are play out, the first round is going to be chaos for the last three days of drafts because it's going to move out JSN down. Pook is going to move up into that top three, which means people are going to either be getting chase or maybe even be John at four overall. Now you start getting different combinations on the draft board, the final three days. Maybe you land a pukka or a jamar chase with an AJ brown now at the back end of the second. This is what's fun about these last three days of drafts because the combinations start coming out of nowhere and start looking different than what we've seen day in and day out now for the last month plus. OK. So we still see the same combinations every draft, but I'm looking forward to the board changing a little bit.

9:13We're getting a little bored of the board if you would. Nelson, yeah, it's not drafted every day, hot and heavy. How many drafts do you have tonight? Got eight of them. Drafts in one night, you're an absolute animal savage. That's unbelievable. I love it. How many of those drafts do you have before? Opening of some teams. Yeah. There's they're going to overlap. There's going to be like four or five of them that will overlap at some point break out the break out the computer screens all over the place. You're giving out a run for the board is my re-repetitive, Nelson? Like, you know, you have put in the same combinations together or you're switching it up by every draft. Do you feel I've switched it up because at that point, why draft volume if you're going to just draft the same players and the same team over and over? So I've actually flipped it and I've been taking two running

10:16backs to start drafts and making those three, the next three wide receivers that I take, making those guys have to be, you know, key players on my teams rather than the four heavy wide receiver start, right? Four wide and then always taking the same group of running backs in like that fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth round. I've actually flipped it where now I'm not looking at running backs in those rounds. I'm actually looking at the receivers. I've actually noticed that, Nelson. And I'll be implementing the same in some of my drafts this week as well. I have one last question for both to use. If this plays out the way it is in JSN as a slow game, maybe even Pook as a slow game, give me the name that's going to be locked into the top five in every draft the last three days. I don't know. I mean, I think you're going to see Cook popping up there. I think you're going to see Chase popping up there. You know, if some of those guys move down, they're going to move up.

11:19Jonathan Taylor probably be a pretty regular feature there. I don't think there's going to be a real consensus. I think you hit it Dan, the first name right there. I think James Cook starts going four or five overall. These two games go a little south. Yeah. Yeah. And I'll tell you, I don't care if Pook as score is 80. If you're in the one o'clock prime time on Saturday in Vegas, in my draft room, I am taking Jemiri Gibbs with my number one overall selection. I don't give a crap. I got plenty of Pook already. Yeah. I don't think anybody can infiltrate the top two. Yeah. I think Chris, if you're saying that Pook and JSN have bad games, then I agree with you. It's going to be a mon-ra is going to be locked in. James Cook is going to be locked in. But you know, again, unless he gets like a ton of check downs, I think McCaffrey's in

12:21for a bad game. So I actually think he's going to drop. It could be one of those games where, you know, it's kind of ugly. And everyone from the game just kind of stays the same or goes lower in ADP. But I think there's going to be a couple of guys that kind of go off and make people have to push guys up. The other thought that I actually had that I think would be exciting is kind of like Isaiah likely from last year where he kind of came out of nowhere, had that big game and moved up to like the second, third round. Yeah, of drafts out of nowhere. I would love just to create chaos because I actually love drafting after those games when it's total chaos. Terence Ferguson is my guy that I would love for him to like catch two touchdowns. And he just is like up there with like Loveland in those guys.

13:23Yeah, yeah, I'm hoping the same Nelson. And I draft a lot of Jake Tungus in the 19th and 20 rounds all summer long expecting Kiddell not to be their week one and hoping that Jake Tungus was a five for 70 in a touchdown or two. It doesn't look like that's going to happen. It looks like Kiddell's going to go. But yeah, it'd be nice to get one of those secondary players in these games, you know, Rashid Shaheed, you know, Ferguson, you know, guys like that. I will see, you know, Nelson, me and you, I saw a bunch of our drafts, your drafts as well as I've been doing it. Demario Douglas, 20th round, you know, if AJ Brown is getting shut down, someone's got to emerge as a hunter Henry is it. Demario Douglas with one of those sneaky six for 70 in a touchdown type games. All of a sudden, 20th round, Demario Douglas is, is it your flex player in week one? He is going in the lineup. That's for sure. Yeah. A lot of possibilities here.

14:24And, you know, it's right around the corner. It's 24 hours away. Joey talking about price, moving up to the third or fourth. If he has a good game, I think that's definitely in the realm of possibilities too. That's absolutely. It will be exciting like these next two days with the games. I think it will be fun to see if it flips the boards after those games because like price, that could be another thing. It could go the other way. Like New England's back, you know, front seven is very strong against the run. Like price could have a bad game and we could see like a wani in there more than people, you know, want to see him and all of a sudden he's a guy that, you know, gets moved up and drafts. Yeah. Yeah. Sorry. I have to go down far. It becomes a target for me. But, no, good topic. Yeah, that was good. Yeah. It kind of covered our first topic anyway, but, you know, what you guys are both drafting,

15:25you know, from New York, right? Yes, sir. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I'll be out in Vegas and then Matt is going to be drafting from home as well. I got 12 drafts between now and in Saturday, which seems like nothing compared to Nelson, but, you know, most of those are live drafts and three of them are auctions. I got the, the bar in the back, refrigerator stocked, order food. I'm not moving from there all day. That's a dream. That's, that's the dream Sunday, every Sunday right there. Nelson's living it as for myself. You know where I'll be, I'll be at GST. I've got my six big screens in. I'll have as many games on as possible at one o'clock. And I always have red zone on the main big TV and taking in all the action. That's where I'm at every Sunday of the season. So, locked and loaded and looking forward to it. He's running behind today. He gets some other things going on but he'll be with us. But in the meantime, let's get into the Josh Jacobs mess. We have a hearing on Thursday, Nelson or Chris. What do you think is going to come out of all that?

21:48Lay out the possibilities for us. Yeah, well, let's shook up drafts on Friday. Dan, as soon as the drafts were getting ready to start, this Josh Jacobs news broke early Friday and then all of a sudden, you know, the room was buzzing, you know, all of a sudden Josh Jacobs isn't going to be out until late November, possibly. But the poor case moved up to September 11th from what I read read into this, Dan. And yes, it did. You did feel all day long on the draft board on Friday and since then that Lloyd's taken a little bit more of a dip. Jacobs now goes to that drafter that want to take that shot as his RB three or four in round 910 or 11, you know, when you don't need to rely on him early in the season as a top two or three back on your roster and you could kind of plant them there and forget about it and hope for the best here. You know, that's the way drafters are handling it. For me, I'm still staying away from Josh Jacobs from what I've read from like the lawyers

22:51in the fantasy world, even if this hearing goes well, it still seems like he's going to catch four to six games, possibly more. And yeah, it's a nice little lot of ticket in round 11 or 12. But for me, I've been fading him all summer. I have all my Martian Lloyd shares and I'm going to stick with that. I'm going to stay away from Josh Jacobs and hope that it's six to eight weeks at best that he gets. And when he gets back, it's already Lloyd's job and he's off and running with it. All right. Nelson, what do you think? Yeah, I mean, I'm no lawyer, but what I'm hearing from what I gather is that I'm going to say is that they got this moved up because Jacobs and his team want this resolved sooner rather than later. So for this to get moved up, that tells me he's willing to get the court case either dismissed

23:53or some type of plea deal. And then the NFL, you know, comes down with the hammer and he probably gets, you know, six games minimum is what my thought is. I think for fantasy purposes, I think Lloyd, that, that dinges Lloyd because I actually thought that Lloyd, if we're talking Jacobs out for the year, I thought Lloyd belonged in the fifth round with some of those other running backs. With this now hanging in the balance, I actually think Lloyd does move back a couple of rounds. But it does bring Jacobs into the equation of, okay, where are you willing to burn a pick? And what I mean by that is if this does not go as planned and Jacobs stays on the exemplest all year long, you've burnt a pick, you've wasted a pick. Where is that spot? And I've asked myself that question and I think it's right there in the ninth, tenth round

24:57that I'm willing to say, all right, if he gets six games and he comes back, I'm willing to hold them a ninth or tenth round pick, hold them for six weeks and it could be like a decent lottery ticket. So that's where I'm at with it. Nelson, Josh Jacobs or J.Corey Croskey Merritt on the board. Jacobs. Josh Jacobs or Mike Washington. Washington. Rashad White. Jacob's. Okay, so you're like right there in that range. Yeah. Like after J.C. Dobbins and Jordan Mason's of the world start coming off the board and they're done and you stuck it until like the handcuffs, the secondary guys, the RB3's sledge, fours, that's where you're willing to pull the plug on Josh Jacobs. Yeah. Yeah, I think what you guys are saying definitely makes sense. You know, obviously nothing's going to happen for a week one other than Josh Jacobs

26:00still sitting on the bench because the NFL is not going to move that quickly even if things go perfectly for Jacobs. I think if that video is still hanging out there and if that video gets out in the wild, that could be the exempt list for the year for Jacobs. So I think all the scenarios are still in play here. So for me, that's just kind of it lowers what I'm willing to pay for Lloyd and raises a little bit what I'm willing to pay for Jacobs, but I think it's still very much on the table that it could be Lloyd all year and no Jacobs. Yeah. The Greek Chimes in Josh Jacobs, a tank Bigs B. I'll take Bigs B. He's one hit away from taking over a Philly backfield behind a good offensive line. So I'll do that. James Cook or Sequana rather of Cook over over yeah, partly the other one in the chat.

27:01That seems fair. Nelson, I'll say this what Bucky Irving, Mar Sean Lloyd, if you want to play it the other way now, since Lloyd's fell a little bit in that range. I take Bucky. Bucky still. I think I might go Lloyd there. I don't know. It's close. And do we and do we buy into a lot of this little chatter about, oh my God, Caleb Johnson might actually play a decent role in this offense now? Or do we expect Lloyd to be the full blown bell cow here for the first at least two months of the season? I think Dan, you want to start? Yeah. To me, the Caleb Johnson is just sort of the injury possibility for Lloyd. If Lloyd gets hurt, the guy has not been staying healthy, obviously. He's done well this entire preseason. He says he's kind of changed things up, going to see the sports medicine guys and gotten

28:03his stride fixed, all that kind of stuff. Maybe it's a big nothing burger. But I think Caleb Johnson, if Lloyd goes down, he's probably going to be the next up rather than Chris Brooks. I think they want Chris Brooks in the role that he's in. So Lloyd is just a handcuff at this, for Caleb is just a handcuff to me at this point. Yeah. So my thinking is that they wanted to bring in depth behind Lloyd and they want to get Caleb Johnson a fresh start. He was talented coming out of college and it just hasn't worked out for him. Chris Brooks, I think they trust him in past protection. So I think he's going to be the third down back to start the year. But Lloyd is going to get his opportunity to be the bell cow. Now if he takes it and runs with it or if he fumbles it, that's going to be up to him. It's got to play out. I don't think the coaches have predetermined and said, oh, this is what we're doing with

29:06Lloyd. This is what we're doing with Caleb. I think they look at it as we're going to let Lloyd be the guy. But if things are not going well, he's not doing well in past protection. I think we're going to see Brooks more involved. And then Caleb will come into the picture if Lloyd looks terrible. But I don't see Caleb anything more than a handcuff at this point. I'm excited to see Lloyd in the passing game in this Packer's offense. That's what I really think he could contribute every week in the passing game. Jordan Love dropping, you know, getting him up the field. You see a lot of clips of him, you know, all summer long, I'm catching the ball, that preseason game when he caught the ball over the middle and walked in for a touchdown, wheel routes out of the backfield. I mean, this is a running back that he could tribute four for 50 out of the backfield on a weekly basis. So that's what I'm excited about. Chip in what you can behind a bad offensive line in the rushing game. But, you know, we have a nice PPR back in Lloyd here in an offense.

30:10I love. Yeah, 100%. Okay. Well, let's talk a little bit about it. We've kind of moved into it a little bit already. Draftboard, risers and followers. But to give us a player that's moving up or down draft boards and are you buying at the new price. My contribution to this is an Elson creation. It's Ramandre Stevenson. This was, you know, even before Nelson's theorizing he could go in the third round. But I think Nelson was early on this and he really kind of moved the draft boards a lot by what he was doing. And people were taking notice because, you know, they know that Nelson knows his stuff. They know that he knows the Patriots better than anything. And I think Nelson was reading the tea leaves right there. So, uh, Mandre, uh, moving up into the fifth round. I have no problem with that price at all. Now, I want to jump in real quick because Nelson, you really, we really did. You set the tone on the Ramandre ADP move with your legacy league, um, you know, pick at

31:12the 48, 49 turns. So absolutely, um, you know, people saw that and they started moving them up. My question is because I can't remember. Did the Trevian Henderson injury happen already? When you moved him up because this has been an unbelievable, it's been a perfect fallout for you guys, um, you know, with Ramandre in the last week and a half since that draft, you know, Ramandre was like going late 60s and 70s when you made that pick. Now Ramandre is in the 50s, you know, so I'm trying to remember the Trevian Henderson injury news that it doesn't even look like he's going to play, uh, tomorrow night. I just add to the Ramandre pick looking real good right now. Yeah, what, what happened there was when we did the 100 K draft, uh, Henderson had already gotten injured, um, I'm pretty sure, but the reports were that it was nothing. Yeah. So I felt that it was more significant than nothing.

32:16So that's where I moved up, you know, Stevenson. Yeah. Right now, you know, let me ask you guys us, let's, let's take the other side of this coin. Where are you taking Trevian and drafts coming up this week? Let's assume he's not going to play on Wednesday and that fact is going to be known obviously by, you know, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Uh, Nelson, where are you going to be taking, uh, Trevian? That the problem is he hasn't moved far enough down draft boards for me to consider him. So like, where does he have to fall? He's got to, he's got a fall to eighth round. Okay. Yeah. I was just going to say, like I've been out on Trevian Henderson. I don't have a share, um, you know, all summer long, but now he's in my, you know, now he's on my radar, but he still needs to fall a little more. So, you know, like, Nelson's going to finally, uh, take the beat. Uh, I'll say exactly when Nelson just said, I would have said ninth round, uh, you're

33:16looking at that pick 90 to 110 round, uh, overall range. Um, if I have a two running back build and a heavy wide receiver team and maybe that, you know, that section of Mason and Dobbins and Pollard are off the board or, you know, I'll take the, uh, I'll take the swing with Trevian as my three now. Everyone has him as they are two in most drafts in the last month, month and a half. Um, I'll take him as my three or even my four. If I can pull off that type of bills. All right. Makes sense. Um, and, uh, question also from, uh, from Duke and, uh, he's looking like a goat as he go back into the midway second round again. Um, for me, no, but I'm curious what you guys have to say. That's, that's a Nelson question right there. The king of the, uh, the abooker shares. So let's, uh, it's, it's, it's an, it's an amazing, uh, one 80 that I did because I, I

34:19went from a book as being my favorite target, uh, in that range where I was willing to push him up to the second round to when that injury happened, uh, he became a full fade, uh, for me. So I have gone, uh, like since that injury, I've gone hundreds of drafts and I have not taken them once. Right. Uh, I wanted to wait for him to be back to practice and obviously I, my assumption was correct because I, I really had no inside information or anything on his injury, how serious it was, but it was serious enough for him to miss a lot of time. Uh, and, you know, to me, it was, if he was back in a week after that toe injury, okay, we're, we're good to go, but it, it's been three plus weeks. I want to say. So it was significant, it was significant enough. Um, people got some good deals though, Nelson. People, you know, if this guy's back and he, uh, regardless, he's back, you know, he's

35:21practicing some doctors have, have seen him moving around and said, uh, he's playing with a steel, um, you know, that steel thing on his toe. Uh, it looks like or he's favoring one side to the other a little bit. Guys, not 100%. He's obviously has an issue here. He's missed three weeks of practice or whatever it is. Um, but he's back at practice. It looks like he's going to play and a lot of people have late round four of bokeh shares. Now, a mid late mid round four shares of a bokeh with this dip and those shares could potentially look really good come opening week here as opposed to, you know, all of us drafting him at the end of the second round, the early third round. Uh, you know, people have a bokeh as their wide receiver four on heavy wide receiver builds. So that's a big swing right there for him to come back. Yeah. I, so my, you know, I can't make guarantees, but I'm going to tell you my prediction for this final week is you probably will see me draft him, but it won't be in the second

36:27round. Mm hmm. Now that's interesting. Let's get into talking about the board a little bit because now that we're talking about a bokeh, what I'm seeing, you know, these last week, um, that end of the second round is starting to dry up a little bit. Okay. And it's tough. Uh, a Maddie Mo in the house. Good morning. Maddie Mo the only guy that wakes up at 4 30 in the morning and starts texting the group chat at 5 a.m. But yeah, it's late first, so at 10 30. We did move it up today. You got to give me a little slow. Uh, let's get right back to you. Maddie said no. I'm going at the normal time anyway. Um, Nelson, with a bokeh, you, uh, you feel in the same way when you're in the top three spots on the first round now. Okay. We, we've just come off of a full week of the neighbors, uh, drafters feeling hesitant now. I pulled the plug. I pulled the trigger on, on neighbors at, uh, I think 22 overall and a draft in New

37:29York. I think you did as well in that range. Um, but it just feels like the Drake London news. Everyone's running scared from Drake London, right? Uh, you and Theo got him a 24 overall. It seems like 22 to 24 is where London's going now because people are scared with, uh, two, uh, being the quarterback, the neighbor's injury. Um, is a bokeh going to move into that territory. The next three or four days is basically what I'm asking because of the players that are starting to get cold in that range. I, I don't know. I don't, I don't think so. I, I think a bokeh is going to live in the third round. Um, I, I think it's going to be, again, it, it's going to be those wide receivers like Devonte Smith, Zay Flowers, George Pickens, um, who's already there, basically. Um, that's the hot name, uh, Nelson. Can we just, I think George Pickens is that name where drafters are starting to feel

38:33a lot more comfortable taking him in that end of the second round and that 20 to 24 range. Uh, you know, it seemed like he was the guy that everybody was like, all right, everyone else is off the board. Neighbors, a lobby, London, whatever. I'll take Pickens. Now it just seems like, you know, why fade Pickens? I don't want to say fade Pickens, but there's no warrants on Pickens right now. You know, he's healthy. He's in a big time offense. All these other guys come with some issues right now with London and neighbors. Um, Pickens is, is that name right now that I see people, he's not getting out of the second round anymore. Yeah. Not for me. I mean, I honestly think there's a really good chance Pickens could overtake Lam. I'm not saying it will happen, but it's not out of the realm of possibility where it's like only a 10% chance. I mean, he's two years younger. He broke out last year. He broke out two years ago in Pittsburgh and an author of Smith offense.

39:34So, you know, that's my take on that. Just think he's a safe play now at that end of the second round. So, but why wasn't he before? I don't have the answer to that. I'm at. I don't have the answer to that. It took me till about the end of July because I was going back and forth, land, pickens. And about that end of July, I'm like, you know what? I'm just going to try and get as much pickens as I can rest the dream season. All right. So, I'm going to throw this to each of you, start with Dan and straight down. You're on the clock, end of the second round and there's Pickens and Drake London right now. Who you taking? Dan. Dan. Yeah. I'm probably still going one didn't there. Okay, Matt, I think I'm going pickens here. I mean, I really like London. That's the Nelson. I'm going to go London because I don't think two is going to go the whole year as the quarterback because that's what everyone's scared of. I believe that London wants Penex to be the starting quarterback and not two as a check

40:38down machine. It's great for Bijan, great for Kyle Pits, not good for London. So that's why we have three of three of them. Four games. This is football, it's not baseball. Do we have, we only get 14 of these? Do we have three or four weeks to suffer? Will you second round pick? Three maybe. My question is, how much longer is Penex going to need to be healthy? That's the only reason why. It's quarter. Three. That's three. I'm telling you. That's three. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. No, no stradana, no stradana. I'm stealing that just right. I think that's a good, I think that's a good guess on Dan's part. I think it's going to be like three or four games that and suffer. I mean, I don't think Drake London's going to be unstartable like suffering.

41:39I just think that his like spike weeks are going to come later. Can I say, my thing was, I don't know. I was like, you know what? Two of us done it before Miami, but I mean, it's just been, he's looked like Watson in three seasons. That's how bad it's been. I mean, it's even me that was kind of like, yeah, I'm not worried and I have my lung jazz. But I'm a little worried right now. We should be honest with you. We just got to discover that Mike's out. I'll throw out one at the running back position. A riser and a follower. In the last week, a lot of people are getting real comfortable clicking on Rico Doudel now, you know, moving him up a solid round. And I just thought to believe the drum beat of Rico being the main guy in the backfield.

43:45And we've seen a whole summer of Jalen Warren going two, three rounds before Rico Doudel. But a lot of sharp drafters in New York were draftered and Rico Doudel. And I took notice of that. That's one guy that's on the rise on draft boards. And the follower is Jonathan Brooks. You know, this is Jonathan Brooks was that hot name a month ago, you know, for people in the fifth round. Now you're seeing him full of solid rounds, round and a half, even two rounds sometimes in these drafts. I mean, I'll jump in here. I mean, Brooks to me, it's, I know I missed the Trevian. I know the Greek said that the slander on a Hendo is wild, which I did catch some of it. We did it while you were away, Matt. So it didn't. But for me, I'm going to take the discounts. I think I have like 12 Henderson, I think 23 Brooks and 32 Corp. These are three guys in that range. And to me, if you watch the live streams or with Nelson, I was on a report and look, it's

44:51always about you can get your one running back. These are your RB twos and some teams. But you can still draft backwards like we talked all summer. Like I'm putting Mason in. I feel pretty good about that. If I have a team with Dobbins or Dobbins at a Coleman, like I believe we have on one of our OCs, I feel really good. These are home run guys. That's what I pulled them. These are your home run swings that I think at some point this year, look, Trevian got hurt. Brooks has been on the side. But these guys are super talented. We saw what Trevian can do. We know the talent that Brooks has from that year in college. He basically put a B-Jon numbers. I'm like saying, he's B-Jon. He hasn't been able to say healthy, obviously. But again, I think you can still take these guys. If we go down a little, Kenny Gainwell. I think Kenny Gainwell is going to be pretty good this year. I think fucking compete. So I think you can still, I'm not like, oh my God, Trevian's done. I still think Trevian's going to outperform Stevenson this year.

45:52I think he's a much better talent. I think Stevenson is pretty mad his whole career outside of what, 2022. And everybody that knocked Trevian last year, oh, he did it against this team, that team. He did it against the Bucks too. I would think he had one of the best run defensive. But again, Stevenson had four games last year. Tennessee, Miami twice in the Jets that he went off. But everybody teams forget about that. Nelson, what do you see in Rises and Follows on the board? Yeah, I think one of the guys that I've noticed is Alec Pierce. And that's obviously with the injury news, finally healthy, practicing, looks like he's a go for week one. I've seen him move up, obviously. And I think he's going to continue to move up because outside of Warren, I actually, I'm not a big fan of downs. And I think Ken and Alan, you know, he can only do this, you know, whole thing where he

46:54comes in and takes away targets, you know, from these guys. I don't think he does it again like he did last year with the chargers. So I think Alec Pierce is going to be a guy that's going to keep trending up this week. Can we stay on Pierce for a second? As a guy that's big on downs and Warren, I have a bunch. I actually don't really have, I have one share of Pierce at the time, like 910. I want Pierce to play week one. Pierce helps out Warren, helps out downs, stretches that field. Back to me is where he's vital for this team and for Dimes and everything to stretch it. I'm going to be shocked if Pierce gets off to a decent start in September. I'm sorry. I just want to be that whole day long. I sacrifice alex. That's it. That's what I'm hoping. Two for two for 38 each week, you know, one of those type deals, but the first two, three weeks, I'm going to really be shocked. Chris, what do you agree that just him being on the field helps those other guys?

47:54I mean, even though he's on a straight line down the field. Yep. Like dad said, Jack official X, so poor. Matt's looking to, you know, just fluff those downs shares a little bit more. I'll tell you what, you know, speaking of downs, he's another one that, you know, he dropped like a full round. I remember in New York in a prime time, Nelson. I think we were in the draft. I got Josh Downs as my wide receiver. And when I was on the clock of full round earlier, I was going to take him then and I passed for someone else and I came full back around and he was still sitting there and I said, man, just the whole room is a little cold on Josh Downs. Whereas two, three weeks ago, Josh Downs was a hot name on the board. And you know, I said it on this show in the past couple of weeks. I'll take him as my wide receiver for every day of the week. But in that particular draft, I didn't need to. He became my five. So he's another colder name.

48:57And I don't know if it's because of the Pierce news coming back or, you know, Downs still a little banged up. But, you know, I'm still in on him. I got him at I think 9.7 and yesterday after news OC. I mean, there was blood in the streets. I don't know so she's. Oh, yeah. I'm just looking to like an afternoon one right now. I recommend it to all our listeners. Yeah, I got one going this afternoon. So I'm looking forward to that. Man, there you go. The Greek wants to know how my browns offense looking top five offense, I think Steve, it's got potential this year. I think it's two weeks. I think you're on par. Watson plays the two games on the road. Me too. They come home and he's gone. Next way I'm looking at I don't I'm not saying she doors good, but you doors got that Jamison where he's just going to chuck, chuck and chuck. So tell the Greek Matt, I've been preaching it for weeks here.

49:57But I do think it's only two weeks because I have those two road games. I don't think he's he's starting in Cleveland. Terry McClaurne, another one Dan. You know, why Nelson, you tell me he just seems like he's the last guy that everybody wants at wide receiver in that fourth round. Sometimes fifth round. He makes it around the turn sometimes. This could be a mistake for all of us. I'm just going to say that now. The Terry hates gone a little too far. A full round dip from where he was going a month and a half ago. I guess, yeah, you know, I understand step on digs came into town and stuff, but Terry McClaurne is just a veteran wide receiver and this Washington's defense sucks. They're going to find weeks when they're in 31, 21 games. Terry's going to get peppered and, you know, some people clipped him as their wide receiver four in the fifth round and jealous of that. It's funny, Chris, that you mentioned that because I've actually taken note of that,

50:58that in a lot of drafts, McClaurne's been falling. And he's a guy that I've actually kind of made note of that I'm probably going to start drafting him here this final week. And he drops because it's a couple of reasons why he's falling. You got the digs signing, taken away targets from him. That's how people feel. You got tonsil, the left tackle, that hurts the offense. If Jaden Daniels is going to be running for his life. But the scenario is if this commander's defense is not very good and they get into shootouts, then McClaurne's going to get quite a bit of targets. And I think in the fifth round, I think that's a good spot to be able to take him in that offense. I think all the redskins, I mean, you're just getting even like a reshine white scull with like a 11th round now. I even if you don't like reshine white, I think he's vital to this team right now with

51:58the line being wrecked. He can block. He's a really good pass blocker. And Terry McClaurne, I totally agree. He went from the three four to the five four to less six primes. ADP is five two. And you know, I think that's a good deal. Yeah, I think I'll be with Nelson there this week might be Terry time for me. Yeah, he's becoming nice value. Listen, I mean, another shit offensive line. When you put the combinations together, shit offensive line, below average defense, you know, they're going to get in games playing from behind. He's the top target. I mean, I don't know why we're fading this guy as a fantasy community right now. Like you said, they're going to have to put up points. Yeah, it's not good. Yeah. All right. So what's kind of moving to any other observations on the draft board?

53:02Matt, you got shut out for the first half hour. So once we took you out of your time out, I was back as well. I was like, oh, he froze you out. Matt, he froze you out. Yeah, you know, Matt's been back there. You're Matt. Matt's in the back. I got it. This guy. What was in? I was talking about Treffey on Henderson at the time. Can we listen to a corrupt... All right, Matt. What do you got on the draft board? Is there your strategy evolving anywhere? You do anything different from specific spots, whatever. I mean, I got to be honest. I pretty much picked like top six. And I probably at least 60% or more of my drafts. It's really where I've glied. Yeah, I mean, obviously these guys you guys mentioned that are falling. I will take a discount on them if I was in on them before.

54:04And I don't see where, you know, they're out for the year. They're out for a month. So I'm still in on them. The Rico Dattle and the Pittsburgh Backfield put it that way. I mean, I love Jellin Warren, but I only have a couple of shares. But I think if Warren falls, I'm going to probably be more in on him because he's still going to catch passes. Iron Ranges has got to get rid of the ball. And he's a much, much better pass blocker than Rico Dattle. I know the coach loves Dattle, has a relationship with Dattle. But Jellin Warren can block and he can catch passes. Kind of like, he's like the rich man's reshawed white in Pittsburgh. I think both of those guys are going to be needed. Another guy that nobody wants on the draft board, reshawed white. I remember the time. I went, reshawed white. Reshawed white was Kenny Gainwell in July. Oh, yeah. Okay. Beautiful comp. The green was put to the white. He was playing under Gainwell in July.

55:05Now we all want Kenny Gainwell, who's taking him at 85 overall 88 in the 80s. Reshawed white goes 115, 120. They're both the past catching backs on their team, the number two. Nobody wants white anymore. Everybody wants Gainwell. I like white at his new price. It's great. If you're drafting this week, you get him in the 10th of the 11th round. Yeah. I took it all into line. I think this helps. Why? I guess in the last six primes, I did the last two days, whatever. I guess in it, it's 10, 6. Yes. Pretty good to miss. Sinking like a stone. Anybody else have any more? I'll just going to throw one more out here to you guys. Devonthe Adams is coming back into drafters hearts. Nobody really wanted Devonthe Adams all summer long. He was that old ass receiver that nobody wanted with Mike Evans. And then that blurb happened about two, three weeks ago that Devonthe Adams was light enough practices.

56:07He was uncoverable, yada yada, little puke of bad news. Maybe Devonthe is the wide receiver one for some weeks if puke gets suspended. Multiple things factored in. But Devonthe Adams, he's a little bit of a hot name moving up a half around that seems like an in drafts. Yeah. He's a guy that it comes at Chris. What happens is it comes down to me taking the same receiver over and over again in draft. And I've had to, you know, even if I think I'm right, OK, on the player and the player works out, it's the injury factor, right? If he gets injured and you've got them on half your teams, that's bad for business in the fourth round. So I've actually opened my mind to taking Adams in some spots for that reason. So he's an older receiver. I don't gravitate towards those guys. I usually just fade those type of players.

57:11But, you know, I also think that like Adams seems like he takes good care of himself. He's a very good offense. I could see it where he's very useful, especially to start the year. He kind of gets your teams, you know, out of the gate and going, even if he breaks down later in the season, whatever, we'll have to worry about that later time. Yeah. Good point. I mean, for me, though, the problem with Adams is he's creeping up and like Watson and Adams, I'm going to take Watson. I'm probably going to take chlorine. I mean, I just, I like the other guy. I get what you're saying, Elisabeth, he was just so good. But I mean, he's got how many one, two yard touchdowns did he have? Is that even possible to even replicate? I hear you, Matt, but I also look at that offense. And unless Terence Ferguson is the dream that you hope he is and we all hope he is, these targets got to go somewhere.

58:13Stafford's not throwing the ball 14 times a game. Puka Kank, that's 17 balls a game. Like, you know, Adams, what's his floor every week? You know, I mean, I do hear you on that. I just think they really wanted to trade them, to get respect their went to them. So, and he did kind of decline, they'll slow down up in the back half. But again, like I said, where he's going, you can make the arguments. I just, all right. Just some names, rises and falls right there. That's what I'm seeing on the board. I took a wide receiver, 35 Mike Evans the other night. So, that's, I don't really want to take a lot of Evans. But, you know, if you're getting given two minute wide receivers, I got a question for you guys. I want to see if I'm crazy. But end of season, who has better numbers? Struggling or Casey can set you home. That's inception.

59:15I'm with you on that. I've seen like people think I'm crazy to think that. Did anybody else? We don't want to say. Can I add, my prediction is all based on, I think, Struggling's going too early in drafts for the current situation. But, if Evans, you know, he's had a few setbacks, right? This preseason and stuff. And he's an older receiver. He's 33 years old. He's had a history of hamstring issues and other things. If he goes down, struggling, I think, hands down over Casey. OK, so I have a question then, because I'm not a struggling drafter. I'll put that out there now, even with a week of drafts left. Nelson, are you drafting, struggling for what he is right now, or the hope of what he could be? The problem?

1:00:15Evans goes down. So here's what people are doing. When they take struggling, where they're taking him on the board, is that like, Evans is going to go down. It's kind of like, struggling is the receiver version of Blake Corp. The taboo is Ferguson. You know, if Tyron is going to fall apart, if Tyron's going to get hurt, and I'm going to have to leave winner on my hands, if I draft, struggling in the sixth or seventh, Evans isn't going to make it, and I have my wide receiver won. You know? All right, Maddie, please don't interrupt me. But, struggling is the Trevion Henderson of Droughts Agony. I can't die. I put him on mute. No, no, no, I'm being serious. I look at Trevion as he's the ultimate home run pick. If Stevenson goes away, he becomes a monster. And that's what I think of struggling. I think right now he's being overdrafted.

1:01:18I'm not drafting, struggling personally. I much rather have a guy like Matthew Golden than struggling at this point. But if that's why I'm saying I'm throwing in that part, that if Evans goes down, then I think struggling becomes that home run. But I think he's overdrafted currently. I think that was excellent analysis. Oh, thank you, Matt. That was it. Thank you. I appreciate it. Well, I'll appreciate it. There you go, never ever mute my mic again. All right, Dan, what are we going to do? Yeah, it's going to come pay me a visit. My knees are already bad, Matt. Don't do it. Yeah, draft board observations. Matt kind of got into it a little bit. But anything else you want to say on that, Matt, or move on to Nelson? What do you got? No, I think I'm good here.

1:02:20I think I'm good. It's been crazy morning. So that was the question I really wanted to meet you guys. So Nelson, anything you've been seeing on the draft boards been changing up what you're doing? The one thing is I think when we were trying to predict what's going to happen with quarterbacks, I actually think that they're getting pushed back in a majority of drafts. There's the one outlier draft every so often. Every five drafts that I do, there's one where the quarterbacks get pushed up. But for the most part, they're just, they're living like, I've seen Joe Burrow Drake May in the eighth round. I've seen, you know, like the next year, Herbert, Lawrence, Caleb Williams, Dak Prescott, golf, like all those guys just like living in the 10th, 11th round of drafts.

1:03:20So I think that's an interesting observation as far as how to proceed and how to draft. I have very little Josh Allen, and I hate it, OK, personally. Because for the volume that I'm doing, I should have my fair share of Josh Allen. But I can't get myself to take Josh Allen in the fourth round when there's legit wide receivers available that really complement my team well. There's a legit RB1 that I can take, like, you know, Javante Williams, Breese Hall, ETN Swift, that really help out, like if you start wide receiver heavy, and then you want one of those running backs, I can't make myself take Josh Allen because I keep thinking, why am I taking Josh Allen in the fourth round when in the 10th, 11th round, I can double tap two quarterbacks that I can almost be guaranteed, like, one of them's not busting.

1:04:24Like, I'm getting a legit top 12 QB. So that's, it's actually frustrating me because I want to have some shares of Josh Allen, just in case he's a total difference maker. But the board just hasn't switched where QBs have moved up or anything. Yeah, I mean, one of the goggles. Yeah, Matt, I was just going to say, 100% what Nelson just said, it's the dilemma that we all faces, drafters in that fourth round when he's on the board. And we'll get into that later when we talk about the New York Super. It was something that a lot of us faced. But again, Matt, what we... Yeah, just real quick. I mean, I agree with everything you guys said. And I'm kind of scared about it too. But I mean, the one thing he does, I really keep saying, and it is crazy, the difference in picks. But he's six straight seasons of 39 touchdowns or more. It's like buying a blue chip stock.

1:05:24It's like, it really is something. And he hopefully will continue and plays every game basically. So hopefully not. Actually, because we don't have any shares. Oh, but those, come on. No, I know. I know, but guess what? I like my money more than my fandom. I would sacrifice my fandom in a hobby. Okay. I won't miss it. The Empire has a Josh Allen chair. The first, that first OCEE we took. So, thank you. Thank you, Matt, on that. There's your exposure, Nelson. Be happy with it. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, I've noticed the same thing on the quarterbacks. But what I've also noticed is, if you're on the end, it's better to be on the front of that quarterback when it comes rather than behind it. If you wait for somebody else to kind of be the first one when all of a sudden you hit the 10th 11th round, and the quarterback start flying. If you get shut out on the ends,

1:06:26it can get a little bit rough. So if I'm on the end and the run hasn't started, by that time, I'm going to start it. Dan, and that's another reason why the middle right now of draft boards is like everyone's comfort zone. Right? Because you could play it out. You get into that range, like Nelson said, after the Drake May and Barrow and Lamar come off the board. You still have that five or six quarterback pocket. And even if you want to go further than that with golf and Jalen Hertz, you're talking seven or eight quarterbacks. You could play it out where you look to the right of you if you're in the middle of the board. And now I've got two guys already have a quarterback. I could pass it again this round, because I'm getting somebody if a run starts. But when you're at the end, and you're in the 11th or 12th hole or one or two hole, and you don't have a quarterback, and you look to the right or left of you, all of a sudden you're saying to yourself, shit, maybe I got to take my quarterback now, because if the run starts here, and they take six guys

1:07:27by the time the long come back around, I'm going to wind up with Bonix is my star in quarterback. You might love Bonix, it's not a knock on Bonix, but I'm just saying you don't want to piss out on that second. It may be more than six quarterbacks even. But you're in it. Also being on that end, if you start the run, is that you've started the run. So you're going to push the more good players back to yet other positions, which is why I'm kind of the mindset. When I feel like it's time for that run to start, if it hasn't yet, I'm on the end, I'm going to be the one to kick it off. I might be in the minorities with quarterbacks. The guy that I have a phone on, I'm going to have a few says, is Jaden Daniels. I mean, he's like the tenth quarterback going off the board, and he can easily be top five, top three. So I mean, and you can either, you can double tap him or take a him in a baker, a him in a Bonix, it's not like, you know, you got to go, raw dog, what do you call this?

1:08:29Call this quarterback name on the board, Matt. It is true. I think that's people that go look back and be like, what the hell do we do? We got to convert people. Yep, definitely, the guy that can win people leagues this year because you wait and build a monster team, and a good roster, and then you stick Jaden Daniels on there, you know, 11th round, Jaden Daniels, 10th round, whatever. And he has that top three or four quarterback season. You're right, that's the guy who could come home big time. And there's no risk there either, because you can just take that Jaden Daniels sharing him up with a gopher. Somebody's similarly cheap, and you know, it's like, you know, you're not even really taking a chance with Daniels, you know, it's like pure upside. Yep, yep. The other thing I've noticed is the running back thirst is getting worse. I think the boomers are starting to pile into these drafts now. And yeah, I know I look old, but I'm four months removed

1:09:30from being a boomer, okay? So I'm still probably genetics. But you know, it's kind of a meme, but you know, when you get into the last week of draft season, those running backs just start moving up, and it seems like it's happening again. You know, I've been in a couple drafts where I'm like, I'm gonna push running back, you know, back another round, I'm gonna try to get this guy or that guy. And you know, it's like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, running backs are just going and all of a sudden, it's like, no, now I really don't like my options as well. I mean, I'm not seeing it on this board for the Prime's OS 6, but in the last couple of OCs I've done, Jordan Mason has gone at like the end of the six round. Yeah, so I mean, he was out. End of the six, maybe like early seven. He, that's the last couple I've done. But after me, once I get said, there's been blood in there, you can build some monsters, but he's a guy I definitely noticed because I'm always looking to draft him as moved up at least in the last couple I've done. That's a big, that's a big rise if he's top 72 now.

1:10:34I mean, I think it's kind of wanted. Just with that schedule, if you believe in that run scheme that they're doing, I mean, Stan, what do you got? Yeah, that's basically it for me. Goes over. Goes over. I'm packing up. Pack it up. Just a little over and out. Chris, you gotta go to your meeting. I'm good. I'm good. 1:14:43Hey up, people. I mean, I will say this. I mean, it's amazing, some of these guys. And I have a couple of teams that I have a main event that has a Ricky Peershole and Jaden Higgins on it. And I have awesome, I think it's like I have chase and brown. I have four awesome receivers. But there's some really good guys out there. And you just kind of, if it wasn't guys that I thought were really good, I wouldn't spend the money. But. All right. So listen, this is the biggest fat period probably we're going to see. There was so much turnover through June and July. Guys that came out of nowhere. I'm looking, I just came off at three hours of doing fab this morning before the show. It's the same names. OK, it's Jacoby Lane, Pat Bryant, Malachi Fields, got some of the Dolphin-wide receivers, Chris Bell. These are the guys that make up for what Matt's talking about. You lost Ricky Peershole in June and July drafts.

1:15:44You, a couple other guys. I mean, these are guys that are going on picks, 115 to 150 overall here with Pat Bryant and Jacoby Lane. The running back, the running back Fab List is a little shorter though. The two biggest names, and then not even that huge to me. But Malik Davis and Najee Harris seem like they're the two top names at the top of the list when you go through Fab for the last couple months of drafts. It's just solid backup handcuffs. I don't think anything to break the bank over. But some solid depth that you could put on your team. I spent my morning getting rid of or trying to drop 322 shares of J Don Blue. Yeah. Those two guys would fill in nicely as a, you know, a full six. I'll say this Chris.

1:16:46Malik Davis, I think he's, if anything happens to J Don today, I do think he's like the new Rico Dattle. It's like the same, they brought him along kind of the same way. He let everybody, including J Don Blue, they said here, run with it. Here's your opportunity. And I'm not even much for preseason. I watch very little, but I don't know who they played. It might have been Arizona. But he picked up a great block. He ran well, he caught it again, third preseason game. But he did everything that you wanted to see. And he's their guy, I think. So I think he's like the top running back. Yeah. So those are some of the names that people would be bidding on tonight. How much? How little? That's, you know, each league will be different. But I think that some people will go a little overboard because they're trying to make up. Nobody wants to go into the season, into week one, feeling like they have holes on their roster.

1:17:47And they could get a guy that's going 150th overall on Draft boards now and put them on their team and feel like, all right, I got rid of my Ricky Pierce all or whatever. And I replaced them with something decent. So I'll try and add Sprinkle Inchems shares. I'm not going to break the bank. But I'll make some switches there and add some of those guys and Dan to follow up with what you said. My second run this weekend will really just all be, I spent at least a couple picks each draft on guys that are playing in these Wednesday and Thursday games, especially the kicker position, the defenses. There'll be a lot of switches with that as well. Could Striblin, now he's available like two my OCs, I'm not asking anybody to give prices on that. But I got to think, I'm not really drafting Striblin, but I'm willing to unload a substantial amount just on the basis of Nelson's excellent analysis

1:18:49from previously, you know, for that chance. I didn't have to draft them or maybe, you know, I had Pierce all Higgins and that's a guy that I could add. That has that possible upside. So we'll see. Yeah, and also if you've been drafting for a long time, like some of us, there's a few Martian Lloyd free agent chairs bouncing around out there. I saved that for you Dan, he mentioned it last week. Yep, that's a fun one. Yeah, no. If you have Striblin available in an early draft, it's going to be 700 plus. Yeah, that's what I'm going to see for sure. Yeah, FFPC might be able to catch him a little bit cheaper, but yeah, you're going to be spending up to get him. Yeah, I don't think you can have a shot anything like a 500. Yeah. Okay, sure enough. All right. So yeah, let's anything else, anybody else have anything on the way, Roar?

1:19:50Oh, good. All right, let's move on then. Let's talk a little bit of the NFFC. Chris, why don't you, while I'm bringing up the board, tell us a little bit about how things went at the GST. And let's go from there. I think it was a really solid day, year two of the live drafts. Everybody came in hot and heavy at 10 a.m. The auctions started, the room started filling up shortly after that, around 1231 when we did the super auction and the 1 p.m. prime time. And I feel like the room was nice and full and lively from one o'clock till right after the New York super. Some people stayed through the super. It was a solid day. I hope that everybody was happy with the food. And I know everybody took advantage of the open bar all day and night, and that's for sure. And I think a year two was an even bigger success than year one was.

1:20:51As someone that was in attendance in Nelson right there. Yeah, it's actually one of my favorite trips all year is going down to New York City. I used to really like the hotels and doing the drafts there. But since we switched it last year, I actually love going to Chris's place. It just has that home league draft type of feel the camaraderie with the guys seeing everyone enjoying the joking around, laughing, great food way better than hotel type of menu that we were seeing at these live drafts and stuff like that. So yeah, I always enjoyed my time. I thought, once again, it was a great setup this year. I mean, I missed it and I got to tell you that was a horrible thing for me. Listen, I don't know that fun and seeing everybody.

1:21:54But I hated hated the hotels. Like I, unless I lived in the tri-state area, there was no way in hell I was going to New York. Those hotels were horrible and moving into the GST was probably the greatest thing that NFC could have possibly done. And I look forward to being there next year. Counting out the days. Thank you guys for saying all that. And I'll say it from my side of it. I'm just glad that everything went off without a hitch. There was no tech issues. Once we got up and running early in the morning, the boards stayed up on the TVs. Nice and easy for everybody to watch. You know, we had the, I had NFL network on the TV bars to people go watch, you know, the news and everything going on. It just, it's just a solid day. And we get to draft five, six drafts in a row. I mean, it's what we live for. It's what we, you know, it's what we like to do. So fun time. A lot of people sent some really nice messages afterwards.

1:22:56So I'm happy with it. And I also heard, I heard that. Spittari was signing autographs. Let me just tell you a real good thing. And I just tell you guys, I missed this and I can't, I can't go any further. We had a really nice couple, a nice gentleman and his wife. They had a message to me a couple of weeks earlier. And they asked if they could come for their anniversary to fly in to New York for the weekend anniversary and the highlight they wanted to spend the day watching drafts because they both loved to draft as a husband and wife. The door to reached out to me as well. I loved it. The whole story was great. So of course, I said, absolutely come. They spent the whole day there 10 hours. When they came in the door, I greeted them. They said, nice to meet you. We watched the fantasy empire every week, everything like that. And then of course, Spittari jumped up because he's an attention whore. And he needed to get into the spotlight. And he welcomed them as well as like he thought he was the second host of the drafts that day.

1:24:02So he then he said hello to them. And they said, oh my God, we recognize you from your show and your show. Come on. When I tell you Spittari's smile, he escorted them to their table. Please come on in. Let me get, do you want a hamburger or turkey burgers, we're serving here. What could we do to make it? Spittari came back with a smile. He said, did you hear what they said? They said they watch me. They know me. And, and that's all I really think of. He's new matri-deaf. That's, oh man. I hope you picked up their check. Cheap bastard. No, he didn't. He didn't. Of course. Yeah. No, but anyway, that was a little story from that day. That's awesome. That's great. All right. So by the way, shout out to Uno, Bulletin champion.

1:25:03I had a cake for him last Thursday night. He just sent us a video. He's watching us on the flight out to Vegas right now on the screen. Oh, man. Hey, you got it. Uno. Good luck, gentlemen. Yeah. All right. Let's, let's dive into this board here. I'll, I guess Nelson, you and Chris were both in it. So we'll let you guys kind of lead it off. Talk about anything you want and we can go through the teams. Chris, you want to start? Well, we'll start right where it started. Right there with Nelson and Theo right there. You know, I'll talk. We'll go team by team if you guys want, but I'm just going to say the New York super it again felt as if it was a heavy wide receiver build. A heavy wide receiver draft. A lot of people trying to get those yellow stickers early and often. And most people wanted to wait on quarterback.

1:26:06You know, the big dilemma for me as we go through it here is the, the fall of Josh Allen. And I could tell you my thought process as we go along. I almost pulled the trigger on him in the fifth round on the come around. But I wanted to again, like Nelson talked about. Get that second running back out of the way. I didn't want to play, you know, how everybody's been playing these drafts with waiting and getting their RB two to be like, and I wanted to lock in a running back RB two that I really like. And somebody I could depend on every week instead of a hope and a prayer. So that was that's my biggest observation overview of the board. Nelson, what about you? Yeah. I mean, Theo and I both agreed that starting with Jameer Gibbs. You got to love it. I'm never going to pass up on an opportunity to draft Gibbs. The issue is in a draft like this, I actually prefer to be like in the middle of the draft.

1:27:13Just because when you have, you know, it's a tough draft. And when you have runs at positions, it can really like get cleaned up and leave you vulnerable. If you're drafting at like one, two, three, and 12, 11, 10 range. So that was our biggest worry was that, okay, once we go Gibbs, what does this look like? Are we going to be able to get and build like a decent wide receiver room? And I think for what it was, I think we did okay. Yeah. I mean, 12, 13, 10 solve all your problems. 12 Brian and Mitchell. Yeah. Nelson, do you feel like the board shrunk up a little? You know, did you miss out on the run or were you happy with the Jamo Christian Watson turn? Or did you feel like, you know, this is my concern with drafting out of the one and two holes, right?

1:28:18Is that, you know, that whole third round goes yellow. Sometimes you get in a little softer of leagues. And you get the extension of that middle of the third round where somebody falls to you, you know, the Wilson's the burdens, DJ Moore, T Higgins, whatever. Somebody falls to you instead of having to pull up guys that usually probably have to take at the end of the fourth round, middle of the fourth round in Jamo Christian Watson. Now, I know you're high on both of those guys and they're both really good wide receivers. But ideally, you know, like you said, you have to play with the board gives you and you're out the mercy of everyone here, which is why I put myself in the middle of the draft as well. Nelson, like just what you said, the harder the league for me, the more I want to go to the middle, you know, the softer the league, the more I want to go to the ends, because I expect more things to fall to me there. So that would just be my comment on that. How do you feel about that turn? You happy with it?

1:29:19I want to follow up before Nelson answers just real quick, you know, because you got the you got the Jamis and Williams and then you picked up golf later. Obviously, you have Gibbs already. So is that part of your thought process in taking Jamo there was just you wanted to get the stack going? Correct. Yeah. So what I can say is that feel like me, we're not as big parker Washington fans as like some people are, which is fine in this room. Listen, as I was saying it, I was like, shit. No, no, no, no, no, choose to the rumor that this is why Theo split with fantasy points was over parker Washington. Yeah, I apologize, Maddie. Again, I'm good. I'm a big boy. Listen, it's just it's my opinion. Like I'm I'm not going to I'm not going to be rate the guy or shit on the guy, but I'm just not as big of a fan as other people that that's okay.

1:30:21So Theo felt the same way. He really likes Jamis and Williams. So we knew we were making that pick. I really like Christian Watson. I'm willing to take Watson in the third round of drafts. No problem. So I just needed to do a little bit of convincing with Theo. I think if Theo was doing this on his own, he probably would have gone a booka. Yeah, so and listen, I'm a huge fan of a booka, but I look that and said, you know what? It's confined league. Let's play it a little, you know, a little safer. Let's go with the healthy guy and, you know, we'll be we'll be able to have opportunities to take a booka, you know, in plenty of other drafts. So yeah, we were good with that that turn. And then the the five six turn was basically we knew we wanted to grab a running back. We weren't going to do anything crazy. Like, you know, go five wide receivers.

1:31:26We weren't going to take a quarterback, tight end, most likely not. If like Warren felt we felt like we needed to get a like a solid RB two and our fourth wide receiver. So once once that happened, it was, you know, just take best player available from that point forward is what we did. I think you guys did a great job. I really like this team. I mean, I would add a bruise of two and make things three. Yeah, what gives it. Thank you. Plus receivers. I liked what you did with the the pits, King Cade combo off next, you know, you don't see that too much there, you know, quarterback tight end for four in a row. But you had what you needed four receivers and three running backs. And you obviously were good with it. So I thought it was a solid team for sure. I guess I guess I can't even ask this question to you if like, you know, if if London wasn't there, you know, you know, I think the look of the team is completely different.

1:32:35I would have taken a lot of. Yeah. Yeah. So actually, the model the way the team worked out would have been. I think you're going to see this week. Yeah, a lot of those third round receiver names are going to start going back into the second now. So be prepared again to see those, you know, waddles and maybe lab mackonkeys debon to Smith's and the book is start entering that end of the second round. You know, when you're the Gibbs and B. John owner and you don't want to start off running back running back and that run of receivers is gone. You might want to you might want to just bring them up a little bit more. Real quick. The one thing I says, I don't I thought Watson was going to move up this, you know, as we got closer and it seemed like he was falling back, which I don't get. So I mean, the three four turn for me, it was fun. It's things you the guys you like, you know, I mean, I'm with you on Watson.

1:33:35I do like J. Maugh. I mean, the other guys, I probably, but I do like the stack you built. Yeah, I think with Jacobs, possibly missing the start of the season or the whole season, I think Green Bay set up to throw the ball a lot. Yeah, I'm with you. Even like Matthew Golden, I wanted to have in a lot of shares. I really want read, but I could never really seem to get J. And it's even if you don't like Golden, you just got to be in on him at his priceway where he's been going. And you know, with the possibility there, I'm with you to wholeheartedly on the more passing. So in a general sense, the one thing that really jumped out about me to me about this board is that, you know, for for once we saw, you know, Josh Allen, the price gets depressed a little bit. And then the other quarterbacks kind of get pushed up a little bit, you know, the quarterback run started a little bit earlier than usual. You know, so to me, this was more like what I was expecting to see a lot at this time of year.

1:34:37But, you know, as we mentioned earlier, we just haven't really seen that. Josh Allen's still been going early and everybody else has been playing chicken at quarterback. Yeah, if it fell Josh Allen's tough to pass, but I mean, I do get Chris's point and even Billy with Swift and ETN, you know, then really solid RB twos there. But, you know, I don't mean looking good. The fuck said it as well. And it makes it a lot easier when you know you got good quarterbacks, you know, several several rounds later. Yes, I totally agree with that. And I've been doing the same thing, but again, this is a guy that puts up 40 burgers of touchdowns every year, like consistently, six years in a row. Nobody's done it more than two years in a row. That's just, you know, that's like, you know, it's a tough, obviously that's one of, you know, I myself and Billy spoke about it after we both dream the clock. You know, if we're going to take the running back there or Allen, if he's going to take ETN or Allen, Uno finally says, screw it.

1:35:42And I think that was right. Like once Swift and ETN came off the board, I think Kyron Williams is the next running back. You know, if you're a Kyron Williams guy, then maybe you could take him as your RB too. If you're Uno as well, if you liked him or not, probably doesn't. One of us was going to take Josh Allen. For me, I look at it more the way Nelson said, I like the quarterbacks that go in the eighth and ninth round. I like four or five of them. I actually love them all. Can I say what they do? I want to change the whole dynamic of my team because I feel like the cliff at running back comes there. And I look at these guys that are fourth round running backs here as back end RB once. And then I don't like a lot of the names that you see afterwards. So it's a completely different look on my team and the way I view drafts this year, if I don't get one of these guys as my RB too.

1:36:43And then I could play around it. I now the draft changes because I don't have to force up any of these rounds six, seven, eight guys to be my RB too. I'm not in the business of, oh my God, I'm loaded at receiver. I got this. I got that. Now I got to go and force Tony Pollard up to be my RB too. He could be dog shit, JK Dobbins, Jordan Mason. I don't want, I want all these guys as my three. I have a question for you, Chris. Yeah, like being that you had Rome, Rome, a Tuesday look, Swift was a fine pick, even if you didn't have it, didn't have him. When you had a Tuesday and Swift was there, were you thinking, you know what, like was that more of a factor to say, you know what, I'm going to take Swift. I get the solid army too. And I could do the stack. Yeah, just because in the back of my hand, once I draft a Tuesday and then I'm like Swift, I'm big on the bears. So, you know, I know right then and there that down the road, I'm going to try and go get Caleb and just have some more bears similar,

1:37:48a little similar to what Nelson did, right, with the Lions. I'm sure him and Theo are in on the Lions offense. There's certain offenses that most of us love the bangles, the cowboys, the bears, the lion, you know, shit like that. So, you know, Nelson has a Gibbs. He's not scared to take Jemo. And then he goes and gets golf. I kind of did the same thing, you know, as a bear. I have no issue at all. Some people are like, oh, you know, you have the receiver. Why take the running back? I don't understand why people even talk like that. If you're in a good offense, nobody's saying no to Chase Brown, Joe Barrow and T Higgins, you know. Nobody's going to be like, you know, I don't want three guys on one team. The offense can light up a scoreboard, but you know, so, you know, that was my thought process with bears. You know, so that's that. All right, fair enough.

1:39:50You want to go to team two? How do you want to do this? Dan? Yeah, we'll do team two. We'll just kind of buzz our way down them. Chris Ible. Start off with Bijan. Nico Tet. I'm a little bit less high on Tet than that. But he gets a really nice value in Trayman pride and the fourth. I think it's a very solid team that you put together here. As no surprise. Chris always put together a really nice looking team. So I like this one. It's very balanced. I like having her to quarterback and then waiting to get shook and get a couple more players that you really want in there. Okay. I like what he did. Again, this is a draft or that Ible. He took the Josh Jacobs discount. He moved them up to round nine. I guess that's where he's going to be really going. But he did it the way we talked about earlier in the show that you should do it.

1:40:53He got him as his R.B. 4. Right. You know, he doesn't need to even look at Josh Jacobs. He buries him on his bench for however long he needs to be until this news comes out. And if the news comes out this week or next week that Jacobs is suspended four to six weeks, well, guess what? In the second half of the season, he's got his new R.B. 2. You know, so. You know, we'll see how his wide receivers pan out from Josh Downs as a three and Diggs is his four. Probably going to be his weak point, but that's the sacrifice you make when you take a trademark bride. And you know, he takes a fourth round, trademark bride and nobody could fault them for that. Yeah. And he's got Tutan Rodriguez combo. So, you know, he's got somebody he can throw in the flex there. So, you know, if Diggs isn't working out, you know, you can get Tutan Rodriguez in there. So, he's got some options. Yeah. Yep. All right. And we got Mike Sanda.

1:41:55He went with the chase Higgins burrow stack. Looks like he might have snipped Nelson on Ramondray. So, I don't know if Nelson could reasonably expect Ramondray to come back in this draft or not. Thoughts on this team. Yeah, actually, yeah, Nelson's got. No, I think Mike drafted a really good team. I thought that was the right pick with Javante in the fourth round. Once you go three wide, I like the four wide set up better in like tournaments, main events, three fifties, things like that. I won't do that unless like really like there's nothing I like. I'll usually go three wide and then I'll get my running back in these confined leagues at that point. Stevenson falling there to him, I think was a really good spot to take. And then he was always going to take burrow once he had chase Higgins.

1:42:59It's just a it's a solid draft like there. I can't really critique much as far as saying like, you know, oh, he did a good job. Like, yeah, he did a good job. And I can't critique nothing negative. Like it's a solid team. I really liked actually Mike's team here. I thought he got everything he needed. He went big three receivers. You knew as soon as he took T Higgins that he was taking burrow, nobody stood in the way of that. I guess you could say, but he still didn't force it up where, you know, he took, Ramondra, like he was at least realized I got to get my RB two. And if either teams two or one takes burrow, so be it. But, you know, he gets two solid running back bell cows, three big receivers, comes right back after getting the elite quarterback and snags Jaden Reed to be his fourth wide receiver. And then still comes right back after that and gets a solid three and four in gain well and white,

1:43:59and then he passes catching running backs that can fill in and give you 10, 12 PPR points each week. You know, and then if Kittle is here in week one, which he should be, that could be a real home run pick at tight end on a team that waited long tight end. So solid. Yeah, he did a great job here. I love the sandwich of George Pickens there. Just a public service enhancement. In the OC yesterday, the guy at three got chase, got hangings. And in round six, three, he started for a wide. He gets his bench receiver over Joe borrow and I was like, how do you do that? How do you take, I don't know how much you love Marvin Harrison. He's your wide receiver five there. He's not coming back. I mean, I was in the middle. I would have took borrow in the seventh. There was no way I was going to. I would have happy to take borrow in the seventh, but I just take you.

1:45:00If you made that commitment, why, how can you pass that off? And you see people do strange things and he had a really good team. All right, team four. Chris, you want to take that one? Lowie goes four wide. This abuca as the wide receiver four now talked about it earlier. It could be, you know, it could work out really well now that he's back. On Friday, we were still in no man's land in terms of news with abuca. We didn't know where he was when he was going to show up. But he's moving around. And this is a guy that everybody had as a wide receiver two. He's got him as his four again, couple running backs that maybe, you know, he likes and aren't hottest running back names on the board. But two bell cows and Kyron Williams and junkens and he clips Lamar Jackson and elite top four fantasy quarterback to go on top of it and a tucker craft running back.

1:46:04So a tucker craft that tight end. So through eight rounds, I thought he did a phenomenal job here. Just looking down a little more depth with Mike Washington, Jones Black and a couple rookie upside swings with lemon and Boston as a five and six. So another solid team. All right. And my main takeaway is I'm never taking crap from Chris again about how I pronounce my non guy until he learns how to pronounce Judd kids. What did I say, Jenkins? Judd. All right. There we go. I'll work on that then you work on my. All right. Matt. Matt next. I'll do this one. This is Mr. Zuka. I heard he was opening up like a like a flower blooming in the spring at the GST. All they took was walking the room.

1:47:06The Greek is the Greek should be a politician, by the way. He's got a run for office. The Greek got Zuka out of his shell. Yeah, I mean, this is another good team. I mean, you got breeze. All you want to bow is just always going to make a team. Yeah, any time you take the tight end, but I mean, Brian Thomas in the fifth. But who are you taking? You're going to take Michael Wilson if you wanted to receiver. So I still think Brian Thomas, even if he has a rough, if you build a good enough receiver core, it might be rough early, but the guy could actually be one of the best second half receivers that we're going to see this. Because you know, that second half schedule is cake is how does that first case is. So if you build a good enough receiver core. Yeah, I mean, I really don't have a problem with any of the guys here. I like the Daniels dark, you know, to injury prone guys, but you guys who could be top three quarterbacks. He got two shots at it. So, you know, all at all. I think he did a nice job here.

1:48:12I mean, I think when you draft hours and round two, you just, you know, you have to look at it as a receiver. So when you put that, you know, just act like it's a yellow sticker and you got three monster receivers. And then you start off your running back room with a guy that I feel is a top 15 RB1 type RB back and RB1 in whole. And then you get some, you know, you play the yellow green, you know, back and forth. You wait on quarterback because you drafted an elite tight end and you still get Jaden Daniels. So I don't have any issues with this as well. Nelson, you see anything? No, I mean, I think the tough part is going to be. No, no, I can't, I can't critique it too much. I, there's a couple of players that, you know, I'm not too fond of whatever, but.

1:49:12Player wise, player wise, no, but in terms of the build, right? Yeah, it worked. Yeah. All right. Who wants to take Edelman? Edelman, I'll take Edelman. I think, I think the running back room is a little young and a little risky for a standalone league. But he gets the Josh Allen pick, you know, in the fifth round. And that has to come at some type of price. You know, he has Devon H. Ann to build off of his running back room. I could probably be, you know, I could be totally wrong on this, right? Jadarian price. If he's a star, this team is a monster. He's got a solid two and Garrett Wilson, a solid three in Parker Washington, Addison, a solid veteran in Tony Pollard, maybe Tony Pollard uses early in the season,

1:50:16totally sees what he has and either price or Brooks. When you look at this team, he probably felt like he was playing a little bit of catch up at running back and receiver. We wanted to get an attack that straight through the middle rounds and get a bunch of guys. And he gets Jordan Tyson to hopefully come in and be maybe his wide receiver for every week later on in the season. But it came at the price of his tight end room. And I have no problem in doing what he did when you wait on tight end and you get past round 13, 14, then just put a collection of guys together and hope that one emerges at different points of the season. Maybe TJ Hockenson early in the season gives you a solid September. Maybe AJ Bonner has that really good week one, this talks of him being a big part of the Seattle offense. And then, you know, Chig could be what everyone's been hoping he is at tight end.

1:51:17So he's going to be tough for him at tight end each week deciding who he's going to play with those three and hope that the wheel doesn't stop each week with whoever plays at tight end winding up with four points. I mean, I think everybody's buried Chig a bit too early. He's not coming off the field, you know, from what we saw and what we've heard, we've seen digs come off the field. Chig's now a 15th rounder and that's a shot I'll take. I thought the Pollard and Barnard picks were great because Pollard really put a floor on his RB2. Give him time, like he said Chris for price and Brooks to come into their own. And then with Barnard, you really, you know, essentially you could have a, you know, a forward tight end room because if Barnard doesn't do crap, or Thursday night or tomorrow night, then you just get rid of him and you bring in another tight end.

1:52:21And, you know, you'll now you have to figure out who to start this week, but, you know, you kind of got that pre-look at Barnard and then you can throw him away if you need to. Yeah, like what he did there. Yeah. The Pollard pick, I agree with because if you look at the board, it's kind of the last solid running back left on the board that you know is going to get 15 plus touches each week. So him getting Pollard right there to be his RB4 completed, you know, a running back room of 4D. So that was a big pick for him. For sure. All right. Nelson, you want to do Billy's team? Sure. So with Billy, he starts off with James Cook, which I'm big fan of. He gets. So he's got Quentin Johnson as his third wide receiver or KC. And then he's got KC or Doudal to play in the flex.

1:53:24And then he's got like that because when you take a tight end early, like, leveling, it usually means that your flex spot is a little weaker, which, you know, some might say, like, well, you know, I wouldn't be happy with KC or Doudal as my flex option. But I actually think that like one of those guys is going to be okay in the flex. And then he's good quarterback. Again, it's like Mike Sanda, like, it's just a solid draft. Like it's done very well. He knows what he's doing. I'm a fan of the team. So I can't really say anything negative about it. Only good stuff. Yeah, I loved it. I loved him getting ETN as his RB2. That's the elite tight end in Loveland. You know, team's going to be based on if QJ and KC conceptions are what he probably hopes it will be. And he nails Trevor Lawrence as his as his quarterback.

1:54:27So another team might, yeah, God. So just being at we're on the topic of James Cook. Do we have any possibility cooks going top six this weekend? Yeah, we talked about that where you were in time out. Yeah, we actually, we actually, yeah, once you when you go back and watch the suggestion, that's why I'm asking. Yeah, for sure. I'll listen later. I'll hang up and listen. You guys want to cover my team real quick. I know we got a balance here. Cover it. I'll just say this because I know we're up against it. Jefferson, I have over lamb first round. I'm big on Jefferson this year. That's why I put myself there to make sure I got either Jefferson or lamb to start the team off with wide receiver. Just because I knew I had the options of running backs coming back to me in the top 17. That's where I wanted to be with top 17 to get one of those running back names. I think genty who was a top eight overall pick all summer long.

1:55:32I'm taking the discount on them. I think if he's not there week one, he'll be there right there afterwards. So I'm not shying away from genty. I get him at two knowing I'm in a great spot for wide receiver two in the third round in the top 29 overall. I get that in debaunt to Smith. I come back around. I stopped building the wide receiver room a little deeper there. Roma Dunesay. I almost took swift where I took a Dunesay to be honest guys. I saw what was left on the board at wide receiver and I didn't think that if I took swift and the fact that a couple that team 12 had three running backs already, that maybe I could get one of these running backs to come back to me. I was lucky enough to get swift to come back on the come around DK Maccalf as a name. I'll just keep saying I think he's underrated right now on draft boards as a wide receiver for. I get him and then I'm still able to build out my running back room with Coram and Dobbins as my three and my four.

1:56:36So I was really happy after as well getting Caleb Williams to be my quarterback on this team. I'm still happy with my tight end and I'm happy with my tight end room for waiting on it too with a likely Johan Johnson combo. Okay. I want to get to real quick gets to take late he's my new Ferguson late round guy because Ferguson's not late round anymore. Yeah. All right. I know I know a couple of you guys got a bold tier. Yeah. So you just wrap it up. Yeah. I hate to give the last four teams short rations here but that's that's why it goes sometimes.
