Larry, good morning, how are you? Hey, Larry. Good morning, Mervyn Marcus. How you guys doing? Good. You're a 49er fan. You ready for tonight? I am. I am. I am. I am. No, it's good. You know, we did a special request. Giant's Off Day with the 49ers open. That's very good. Actually, it works out very well for us. For sure. Melvin, and I've got the Melvin. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Good stuff. Hey, we are less than two weeks away from Canberra beer day. Let's hype it up. Are we doing special tickets that day, too?

Yeah, it's Canberra day. You guys are giving you the keys to the house. And we're super excited about it. And you know, you're all of the planning. I mean, here we are in September. Something tells me that there was some conversation with Rob Mamprid like back around opening day. Netflix opening day. And it's all happening. So two weeks from yesterday, the 23rd, we'll play the twins. You'll be you, we will have $6.80 course light and $10.50 Corona. So 680 and 1050 or 1045, I think. Yes. It's got a 4.5. 104.5 is our FM signal, right? That's right. And that's right. That's right. And that's why it is. It's not it's not $10.50. And it's $10.45 for Corona. So it's a nickel less than that. Then I previously mentioned and it's a. It's going to be a fun day. We're going to have all sorts of you all the personalities,

including you guys are going to be out there early. You can go to public house and or I call it public house. D 58, I'm in social and go to that facility early and see all the KBR personalities and there's also going to be a ticket offer at that same $6.80 for view level and 1045 for the bleachers. So it's going to be a lot of fun and it'll be a way to usher in fan appreciation weekend, which will have the Dodgers, the final three games at home. Yeah, and you can take advantage of that ticket deal by going to sfjans.com slash KBR to get those special tickets and Larry, you're right. We're going to celebrate that final week of the season, but also celebrate the career of Mike Kruko. So I'm sure we'll toast a couple beers on KBR beer day. I've seen the new adobe logo on the right center field wall. What can you tell us about how the organization plans to honor and celebrate Mike Kruko over these final games of the season? Well, we're going to have all sorts of special things going on. And you've seen you've seen during the games that we've had the home games and

will be the case this weekend against the Padres. Tributes, testimonials, surprises don't want to give everything away, but one of the things that we've really seen is just a complete love for Mike. We had dinner with him last night for a group that I've been working with him for 30 years on the television side. And the thing with the fans wanted to connect with Mike and send him a message, express their love. So we've set up some adobe hotlines. How about that? Crew caught lines. So you can call old fashioned way 415 97 219 73, which is the year he was drafted. So it's 97 219 73 for hotline deliver him a message by voice. You can do it by email at m Mike Kruko. It's my Kruko at sfjans.com. You can do a physical note. If you're so inclined at a game, the mailbox on the promenade level. And then of course on Sunday September 27th,

his last broadcast, it'll be a really a, you know, a Mike Kruko day takeover in the ballpark. We'll have all sorts of, you know, tributes and ceremonies and everybody that comes to the game will get an adobe button. And pretty cool. We'll have special guests after the game. There will be, you know, there will be a tribute to Mike as well. It's a noon start that day. If you remember all the games on the last day of the season, now are synced up to the start at noon. So a big, big day on the 27th, but leading up to it, there's ways to connect with Mike as well. You know, so much love. You guys know it firsthand. You haven't three days a week and it's, it's pretty special. Love when your money makes money, then you'll love the money market accounts at breadwood credit union. 415-972-1973. Everybody write that down. Put it in your phones. 415-972-1973. Or if you want to email them, it's Mike Kruko at sfgimes.com. Is that right? Right. Okay. That's it. Yeah. And if there's a phone note, if you want to do a physical note, you know the way you can do a technology now, we can put, we could take pieces of the notes, pieces of the audio and put them up on the board. You've probably seen that, right? You could do like, you know, but it's kind of like a thought bubble where you have folks that defends that are expressing their messages to Mike. We'll get them to Mike and it's going to be, you know, already there's thousands of them hundreds of thousands coming in. But then we'll be able to put some of those up on the board as we go through into the September 27th. So, you know, your message may, I can't promise. Every message is going to get on the board, but we'll try to do that. We can't. Larry, this has been, I took a, I just started doing this show in 04, right? And Mike

has been a part of daily, a multiple daily, what am I trying to say? Multiple times a week. He's been on the show since 2004 and people have asked me, oh, has it like we're going to KBR and I'm like, well, the day that Mike Kruko and Dwayne Kuiper retire, I have to retire because they, I have a career because of them. People listen to them so much that they kept our show afloat through these years. I kind of feel like you guys must be in the same boat. Like, well, we're good as long as we have Kruken Kai. I mean, forget Naze and McCavie and bonds. We got Kruken Kai, right? So what are we going to do? Larry, without him and how do you find his replacement? Yeah. And you know, when the replacement question is going to be, we put that to it for another day as you can imagine. I know we're really just focusing on Mike now. But to your point, Murf, you know, when you think about, we were talking about this last night and we were all talking about Mario was there and we were talking about how players will come and go. And the, you know, if you have a great career, you're playing 10, 15 years. But you're not playing 30.

But as a broadcaster, you know, you can have that, not just that longevity, but that daily impact through generations of Giants fans. And that's what's happened with Kruken Kai. And we say players come and go and we value them and we love them and the ones you're mentioning are forever seared in our hearts. You know, Maze, McCavie in that era, Marish Al-Sapeda, Barry Bonds, Buster Posey, Tim Linssen, etc., etc. But these guys, I mean, 30 years, you know, 35 years. And so it's, it's, it spans generations. And you also, I think in our minds because they're with us every day, you don't really think of them going. You say, we say players come and go, but you know, broadcaster, you know, they're not, they're not going. They're, they're with us and they're never leaving. And that's kind of how we all as fans who grew up listening to, literally listening to the games on the radio and fans that still do. And then watching

the games every night on television as well, you don't think they're ever going to leave. Love when your money makes money, then you'll love the money market accounts at Redwood Credit Union. Yeah, so I mean, I have, I mean, I have, yeah, so we're all going to go through this and yeah, go ahead. It's hard and it's hard to do. It's it goes that, I mean, you think about how hard it is to and how it's special and how unusual it is for two players who played for your franchise. For a bunch of years and those were important years, right? When we came back in 87 and won the division and then the World Series in 89, you know, those are big years in giant history and

and to have them span, you know, wearing the uniform and then going behind the booth and being, you know, it's a very best of their craft, hall of fame worthy. It's it's it'll be forever forever with us. Very much so. So we'll look forward to that. The day can be our day on the 23rd and then that final weekend, the Willie Mack award on the 25th Larry, which he won. Mike won that. So it's going to be really, really, really tough. So listen, listen, we'll let you go. We'll we'll we'll circle back again before the 23rd. Hopefully get some more action going on that, but it's sf giants.com slash KmbR. Is that right? Okay. And then again, to call Mike, it's 415 972 1973 or Mike Kruko at sf giants. dot com. And oh, by the way, before let you go, I mean, nice sweep Larry. Way to go. I tell you the teams just they're playing relaxed and there's a lot of kids that are young players

that want to make their mark. And we're getting really good reaction from the fans that enjoying it. And it's it's it's fun. I think that there's fun. You know, last yesterday's game was, I know it was hot. And so there were people were in the shade. So that was pretty unusual. And they're screaming and yelling in the in the bottom of the eighth inning and it's run explosions. So, so I think it's it's it's fun. We it's we're not where we want to be. I mean, it's clear. We're not where we want to be. And on September 10th, yeah, we're going to have fun with it. And we're going to use it as a platform for to push into 2027 off today. Watch the 49ers and then Padres this weekend. Maybe spoil some of their season. That'll be fun. So Larry, we'll see you soon. Okay. Take care. Sounds good. She on the 23rd. Yes, sir.
