Hi, I'm Johnny Erickson Tata. Everyone loves a good puzzle, right? We first find the pieces that create a frame and then we work from the outside in until the picture makes sense. Look, we're rational humans. It's natural to want things to fit. It's built into our DNA. So no one can fault you if you try to put together the puzzle pieces of your suffering. But should it be your primary pursuit? Well, if our main goal is to understand why God allows awful things to happen, we will end up frustrated. The Bible says his ways are higher than ours and so are his thoughts. God wants our main quest in suffering to be focused on knowing him, not knowing how God makes things fit. Wisdom is not figuring out our problems from God's point of view, but wisdom is trusting God even when and especially when the picture does not make sense. And that is Godly wisdom.
