Hate to Say it: How Hate is Loving & Love is Hateful (August 5, 2026)

About this episode

Terms like “hate crime” and “hatred” are thrown around today to the point they lose meaning. People are scared of being classified as hateful, but what does it mean? Hate is simply a strong dislike for something, no matter the reason, as opposed to simply disliking the same. Could hatred then be wrongly defined by broader society? Could “hate” actually be as harmless as personal preference and opinion? Could hate even be necessary in certain circumstances? Could people who refuse to express their true feelings, and who often apply the label “love and light,” not be toxic?
