Health care subsidies shouldnt be extended without serious reform

Proponents of this view point to the high cost of the subsidies, with the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimating that a permanent extension would increase the deficit by roughly $350 billion over ten years. This argument is central to the current debate over the extension of the Affordable Care Act's (ACA) enhanced premium tax credits, which are set to expire at the end of 2025.
