Heretic Bishop Calls On Leo To Change The Commandments

It does appear that Pope Leo has taken upon himself to continue the work of Pope Francis in recrafting the Catholic Church in Francis' image and likeness. But we have a story today of one of Leo's new cardinals, one of his new archbishop's who will be a cardinal, demanding that the church be a little more open-minded to changes in the commandments and laws of the church. It's an amazing story. It goes back to the basic problem we have now in Rome. It goes back to the Vatican finances, all of it. And that is, of course, the now-tired old saying of personnel's policy. They're all political activists, and virtually all of them have our hostile to tradition, to capital-teach tradition, and are open supporters of James Martin. It appears a very short article. But then he appoints weird men, some of them very wicked, to positions of authority. I've had a hard time finding a good, episcopal appointment from him. He keeps some of the worst around him still, Fernandez, Roach, and the like. He is quietly remaking the episcopate. And when they fall down and fail to resist, when they sin, they get back up, they go to confession, and they follow what the church tells them to do, and they live as the church does to the best of their ability. I am not critiquing those associated with like courage, international, and groups like that. Because such people would never join a group that calls itself a network of these kinds of Catholic groups. They would never do that. These are the heretics. These are those who are so wrapped up in their flesh that they think the church and scripture got it wrong. These are people who commit grave sacrilege every time they receive the Eucharist. And this bishop allowed such in his home, which is a church property. And that's why this story is so important. This story comes to us from Catholic rule from the Catholic herald. The Archbishop of Vienna has suggested that the Catholic church must be willing to consider changes not only to its pastoral practice, but even to its commandments and laws. Speaking during a mass held as part of the Austrian Bishop's conference, Spring Plenary Assembly, Archbishop Joseph Grunvidilth argued that ecclesiastical rules must ultimately serve the salvation of souls, rather than becoming rigid ends in themselves. They should help people encounter God and be led more deeply into a life according to the gospel, presenting the church as legal tradition of something ordered towards pastoral care, rather than an inflexible system. The Archbishop appointed to situations in which Catholics find themselves intentioned with the current norms of canon law, particularly those related to, of course, marriage and family life. Referring specifically to those who are divorced and civilly remarried, as well as to relationships that do not correspond to Catholic teaching on marriage, he suggested that pastoral engagement must go beyond the mere application of rules, where these people there are regulations and prohibitions in canon law, but it insisted that the church's task was to discuss the individual's life and faith situation with them and find a pastoral solution that helps in the heels. His remarks went further when he indicated that open as to pastoral solutions might eventually involve deeper institutional change. We're calling prominent women in scriptures and the life of Jesus, he argued that the gospel itself provided a precedent for listening or attentively to female voices. I trust that our church will become more Jesus-like, and more in accordance with the gospel when we are synod-al. Walking together, listening more to the voices of women and including them in decision-making processes. He acknowledged that such developments could entail significant institutional adjustments. Of course, he said it would involve changes to church regulations and centuries-old traditions. Yet he framed the possibility and performed through a theological lens rather than a purely structural one. Looking to the example of Christ, he said that Jesus himself did not always conform to the religious expectations of his time, when fidelity to gods will require something more radical.
