How Carolina Panthers Safety Visits Could Reshape Draft Strategy

The Carolina Panthers hosted two veteran safeties on Monday as the team continues evaluating potential additions to the defense ahead of the draft. Former Indianapolis Colt Julian Blackmon and former New Orleans Saint Marcus Williams were the players Carolina brought in for assessment. Will one of them ultimately sign with Carolina?

If the Panthers sign either Blackmon, Williams or another veteran, how would that affect their draft strategy? Would adding a younger option with an eye toward the future make sense?
