ICE pauses most traffic stops amid uproar over 2 killings

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will pause non-urgent vehicle stops after two deadly shootings in less than a week, according to Maine Sen. Angus King's office. The most recent shooting occurred Monday morning, just 20 miles south of Portland, where an ICE agent shot and killed a Colombian man. Maine Public reporter Ari Snider shares more about the investigation.

Then, on July 24, hundreds of thousands of Haitians living in the U.S. could lose their ability to work due to the Supreme Court’s recent ruling that allows President Trump to end Temporary Protected Status for immigrants from several countries.
