Israel attacks southern Lebanon, Gaza case at ICJ

Overnight, the Israeli army struck a multi-story building and a car in the town of Farrahman, killing at least 10 people. There were also strikes in the towns of Arab Saddam and Da'al-Sharani. The tax continued, despite a US-broken ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, agreed in June. Israeli forces have killed at least eight Palestinians in the latest attacks across Gaza. One of the victims was an eight-year-old girl on her way to school. The Israeli military says it launched attacks on Hamas sites in the north of the strip. After one of its vehicles struck an explosive device, it says was planted by the group. This is, despite a US-broken ceasefire that took effect in October. 1:00the full human cost of the disaster is still emerging. Rescue teams in Nepal are searching for survivors, and 4,000 people are in temporary shelters. The torrent of Rod, Rock mud and ice destroyed at least seven and a half thousand homes. Dozens of camps have been set up for displaced families in affected areas. The death toll stands at more than 1,300 with more than 5,000 still missing. Tuberlin in the far right alternative for Germany party says it's hoping to win at least 40% of the vote in their next federal election. Preliminary results from elections in the eastern state of Saxony and Halt on Sunday show the party secured 43.8% of the vote. That could allow the party to form a regional government, but only if it can secure the support of a minor party. AFD Co-Leder, Ellis Whedall, says the result shows that Chancellor Frederick Mertz has become quote, a major burden on Germany's prosperous development.

Nicaragua brought the case, accusing Germany of violating the genocide convention and international humanitarian law by supplying weapons to Israel. The German government denies the accusations.
