Bill Cameron with ESBM1067. Got a chance to spread the ball around you, running backs, and really had pretty good success. There are just your thoughts on their play and how important that is. Did you get ready for the gators? It felt a lot different than the first game just to get those first three guys on the field as much as we did. They were all productive. I think as coaches, obviously you get more opportunities to evaluate in a game, strengths and weaknesses, and just how they react to the situations they were in. But it was good to get obviously all of them out there. But Omar, he made some really good gains out of his

opportunities. It was good to see Bryson be able to stick his foot in the ground and get going. That's the first time, not the first time that we've seen it, but obviously in a game, the first time that he's been able to get out there and actually open up his stride and run. It looked good. We got work to do. Obviously Cobb did some good things as well. So it's keep moving. We got to get better there. But when you look at those first three guys that are on the field at that position, there are three guys that you feel like you can go out there and compete with for sure. For Jason, Brian? You guys talked about needing to improve on the interior, the offensive line from week one, played several different guys there, including a freshman. Just what did you think about that group and the data that you all were able to get on all those different guys down there? Yeah, it wasn't perfect again. But we ran the ball successfully. Forget what the

final number was, but those guys did a really good job all night. I think it helped to have a little bit more fresh bodies in there, rotating a little bit. It's always going to be healthy for any position group when you get guys that are competing all the time to be on the field and to try and make that position your own position. That's healthy. That's what we need. So there was improvements there without a doubt. It's not where it needs to be. There's still a lot of things that got to get cleaned up, moving forward. So we'll go back to work tomorrow. J.L. Jason called with over 247. The Sean Spencer's got it. You got a chance to see in the spring and then develop through the summer. Through two couple of games, especially Saturday. What have you seen out of him and is he a guy that you maybe could expand a role with now, even forward? J.L. Jason, I think I've talked about the Sean before. He's been exactly what you want.

When a young guy comes into the program, he's been about the right stuff. Since day one, all he does is prepare to go play ball, whatever it was, spring through the summer and fall camp. That's the guy that we've seen since we've been here. So it wasn't a shock to anybody in the building to see him go out there and make a great catch on the touchdown. That wasn't the only play that he had. But he's earned confidence from his teammates and from coaches since day one. Those guys will continually have to be counted on. Absolutely for him. This is just a starting point for him. He's got a long way to go for sure. He's still young, but he's a guy that we trust. Absolutely.

Joe, Brian Matthews, AlmondSports.com. I wonder about John Thinneckles in the red zone. 12 career catches, five touchdowns. He's obviously a pretty big target down there. He's found a way to get into the end zone, which has been good. He had a great week of practice last week. It's probably the best week of practice he's had even going back to the last place. So for him, man, he's a guy that the truly this guy's the limit. It really is. And the best thing for him right now is he's got two guys that have more experience than him that are able to go out there and practice with him and he can learn from. And he needs to continue to just grow because he's nowhere close to what the ceiling is. And we got to go. We got to start getting there as fast as we can. We're going to need him

without a doubt. So it was good to see him out there. Obviously, you see the touchdown. There's a lot of other plays that he's involved in too. And he needs the experience. For a lot of our guys, it was the first time being out in that stadium, playing a real game. And it was awesome. So he's got to continue to keep his foot on a gas and push those two guys that are in front of him. But we played four tight ends in the game and we played a bunch of guys at that position. And those guys got to continue to grow on both sides of it, not just catching a wide open touchdown pass. Those are cool. But there's a lot more going on to it as well. Coach, Jato, I'll be in your cover. After call about a phone board, we saw a lot more Omar and Bryce. And I just, what's his mindset this week and what's the plan for him this Saturday? Yeah, I don't think the plan's going to change. He's put it on the ground. And just like

as it goes in life, some other guys will probably get another opportunity when something like that happens. And Bryce and Anomar have earned opportunities to go out there and compete. So I don't think it was there wasn't anything like man, we're going to sit Cobb on the bench because he fumbled. It was at the end of a long drive. Whether he had a score of touchdown on that play or fumbled, you know, he probably wasn't going to be the guy that was going to go in there, you know, in the next drive anyway. So the good thing about the group that was on the field at the end of the game, like they were, they didn't finish drives. And that's where it started. We had two more drives that we didn't finish that got into the red zone. But they man, the last drive, they were on the field for six minutes. So we weren't going to just take those guys out to take them out, you know, we're going to, we're going to let them play. They've earned the opportunity to earn the reps. And the way that it shook out was just Cobb was on the end of one long drive. And then the next two

drives ended up being kind of the same situation. So Cobb is a, you know, he's a guy that, man, he got to learn from it. And he's got to go. He's got to be a guy. It's got to be a leader for us. So we expect him to have a great week of practice and to learn from it and to move on. Joel, A.G. mentioned his familiarity. Obviously, you know, when he gets summer all one time at two lane, but then he, you know, Brad White back when they were in the SEC together. Kind of, what's your assessment of that defensive group you've seen on tape for Florida through these first couple of weeks? Man, they've been, they've been pretty stingy. You know, they've got a bunch of guys that were there, you know, a year ago. So I'm sure, you know, that was a good deal for them to be able to walk into the building and have some guys that were already there, you know, that have been on the field for them. But, you know, the guys up front, you know, can cause trouble.

You know, and that's what you want with any good defenses, you know, it starts up front for them and they've got good size and good length and they've been productive, you know, at that position on the D line. But, you know, they look like they have learned the new scheme and they know what they're doing, you know, they're getting lined up, you know, they know what their assignments are and, you know, they're running around and playing good defense. So, you know, going back to where, you know, coach Someral was before, you know, those guys had a good defense there too. So, expect a good challenge, you know, without a doubt this week. Coach Michael Giddens, Warport, can you talk about the offensive line and your confidence level in the offensive line headed into SEC play now? You've got two weeks worth of tape. Where are you at in your mind with that position group and their ability to allow you to be able to run your full offense? Yeah, you know, you're two weeks in and that's really a pretty small sample

size, you know, the fact of the matter is, you know, they've got to get better. We all got to get better across the board, every position group. But, you know, from the first week to the second week, there were the improvements that you wanted to see without a doubt. And where we are, like, man, we have not hit our peak anywhere, positionally, you know, in offense. And we got to continue to get better every single week. But, you know, we're going to have to go into every single week being confident in those guys. Like, that's what we do, you know, we're going to try to line up and run a football and that's how it's going to go. And then we'll figure it out once the game kicks off and figure out what we've got to do to try to win a game. But yeah, I got confidence in those guys, you know, they've been working really hard at it. It hasn't been perfect. There was improvements without a doubt. We needed to see it and we've got to improve again. Like, we're

going to have to improve every single week. That's the way that it goes. We're nowhere near, like, a finished product anywhere, especially at that group. Peter Radder, Kaseo.com, would you make it the downfield passing, you know, on Saturday? It seemed like you got to hit on a couple more of those shots, but, you know, maybe still some, some ones where there's some hesitation. Downfield passing. Yeah. You know, we, I don't know that we necessarily had too many that were skimmed up. We're just kind of running some base offense. We missed a big one that we just lost a guy in protection and weren't able to get the ball to him. But, you know, I think just in some of the base things that we do, we got some opportunities to throw the ball one on one down the field.

We didn't finish the play, you know, with Cogor in the end zone. The touchdown I got called back, which I thought there's some detail things on that route that aren't good enough, which end up, you know, being a reason why you don't finish. A really good throw though, you know, good protection. I was good to see. It takes a little bit of time, I think, you know, just even though, you know, Byram's played with, you know, Cogor and Chaz. They're still getting used to each other, you know, like the first time playing a game in that stadium, you know, in that environment. And I felt like they were ready, you know, when they had the opportunities, when we were one on one down the field, I thought we did a pretty good job with it. And when we weren't, I thought Byram did a good job of checking a football down, making good decisions. Obviously scrambled around, a handful of times, and was successful. But that's a, those things, I think, we're naturally going to

have our opportunities, you know, down the field. And the two that got down the field, you know, we made plays on them outside of one, where Byram was really not able to get his feet set. But, yeah, we got work to do still. I got to find ways to be explosive. And, you know, that's definitely part of the game that we got to improve on. Yep, thank you.
