Ladies' Day at Aintree: Fashion, Festivities, and Grand National

On April 10th, ladies' day at Aintree's Grand National Festival turned into a full-on

fashion and party spectacle. Over 45,000 fans showed up for the second day of the three-day

event, rocking bold outfits from yellow halternecks to figurehugging, scarlet gowns, crowds

topped 28,000 on opening day, up 22% from last year, with more than 150,000 expected overall.

statement hats, and lacy looks. Unlike stuffy spots like Royal Ascot, Aintree keeps it relaxed,

just dressed to feel your best, even fancy dress if it's not offensive. Royalty rolled through,

too, was R. Tindall, her husband Mike, and the 12-year-old daughter Mia, turning heads and

smart suits. Spirit stayed sky-high as spokes guzzled drinks, danced wild, and flashed winnings.

But by evening, some glamorous racegoers ended up slumped in the car park, still clutching cups
