Lessons from 9/11: Why America must remain vigilant

0:00Music Welcome to Roger's Forum, Erica. Thank you for joining me. Where were you on 9-11-2001? Well today is 9-11-2005. I remember where I was. I was a lieutenant in the United States Navy and we were actually doing some wargaming and during collection of information during our wargaming we had received information that the World Trade Center was attacked and the Pentagon was attacked. Now looking at some of the scenarios that were being analyzed and looked at with regard to the wargaming scenario that we were involved in, the attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon wasn't part of that wargaming.

1:14So we started to scratch our heads and within minutes we found out that this wasn't part of a wargaming that this was real life things going on right now. We had no idea that there were jets that had crashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and also the jet that crashed in the field in Pennsylvania. We had no idea we believed was it missiles where their bombs planted on the buildings but how did the plane crash in the field? I mean there's a lot of confusion, a lot was going on. But be that as it may, the United States military quickly sent fighter jets into the air, the FAA grounded every flying thing in every flying piece of aircraft across this country and before you knew it the headlines came out. America under attack. A horrific day burned into memories of all of us who lived to see it. And I remember to this day that people would say the homeland of the United States of America would never be attacked.

2:25Well, we were attacked. Indeed, people will point to Pearl Harbor in Hawaii back in the 1940s but the fact that it matter is that Hawaii yes did come in attack but that's not what we call the mainland. We're talking about mainland America came under attack. How did it happen? Well, we now know that there were terrorists here. They had planned for a long time to do this to us. I don't believe they even expected the World Trade Center to collapse, but it did. Of course, there are a lot of conspiracy theories out there. There's a lot of nonsense out there. You know, you hear people say, well, you know, the American government knew about this. The American government was involved in this absolute garbage, absolute garbage. And when people spread those conspiracy theories around based on absolutely nothing, nothing at all. Well, they do a lot of harm to the people that had died at the World Trade Center at the Pentagon. And on the aircraft that slammed into that ground into in Pennsylvania, they do a lot of harm.

3:36I have friends and I'm sure many of you listening had friends that died as a result of those attacks. There are a lot of heroes that they allowed of heroes that died 10, 15 years later as a result of the chemicals that went into the air as a result of those attacks. So I remember where I was, just like I remember where I was when John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Something's happened in life that are burned in our memories. But what we should remember also are those who were responsible, who committed this horrific, horrific ghastly crime against not only the United States of America, but against humanity. These individuals were terrorists. And when I hear about Hamas and Hasbola and other radicalized terrorist organizations anywhere on the earth, I say to myself, they're still plotting, they're still planning and they need to be eradicated off the face of the earth. They need to be destroyed. These organizations need to be destroyed.

4:50The drug cartel, which we are involved with right now, a war off the coast of Venezuela, maybe soon enough, inside the borders of Venezuela, they need to be eliminated. You cannot and never will be able to negotiate with terrorists. I learned that from the Israelis. They need to be destroyed. Terrorists are looking to destroy us. They tried to destroy us through the proliferation of drugs across our border. They tried to destroy us. I guess they thought that maybe slamming these jets into two large buildings and the Pentagon and another jet that went on the ground in the, I think it was Shankar's, though, Pennsylvania. They tried to demoralize us to a point. Maybe they thought that we would just give up and we wouldn't do anything. But we did a lot. We did a lot and that eventually led us to a major, major military war with Iraq. Sometimes I think about we should have added a rant that out list. They had a chief sponsor of terrorism.

6:01But those are the things that I remember. Those are the things that go through my mind even to this day. But because we were here and saw it happen. Because we remember even to this day, all these years later, we need to remember to never, never, ever let our guard down. Never let our guard down. And I'm not saying we let our guard down as a result of the attacks. Of course, we didn't know what's coming. How could you prevent something like that from coming? We're free country. Never, never. In my lifetime, did people go into a cockpit to commit an act of war like that? They've hijacked airplanes, but never, never to go on a suicide mission and killed thousands of people. But it happened. We were here. We saw it. And it would have happened again and again and again. If we didn't take the action that we took to prevent another attack against this country of that magnitude.

7:04I could tell you by grounding the aircraft immediately. Oh, there could have been more terrorists on more jets, but that didn't happen. Did it? And I could tell you by my personal experience by working with the FBI with US military intelligence, that the fine work of the FBI to CIA and our military intelligence organizations all around the world, not only here in America, prevented an attack to this day of that magnitude. The FBI has been taking a lot of hits, a lot of hits. Why? Because of the corrupt individuals that have been running the organization for quite too long. But the men and women on the ground. I mentioned this in an op-ed to a paper, to newspapers to the media several years ago that we owe the salvation of this country to a lot of organizations, but in particularly the FBI. You're on here about that, do you? Probably won't hear about it because what the news media likes to do is make the headlines sound like the FBI is the most evil organization on earth that is not true.

8:15They deserve our ground of applause and they deserve our support. Those FBI agents as well as the CIA, military intelligence and every other Lawrence forceman agency across this country that has been dedicated to the FBI. They are committed to saving us from another attack of the magnitude that we saw on 9-11. Like I said over and over then, I would have added a ran to the shock and oil policy of General Colin Powell, George W. Bush. Unfortunately, we didn't do that. And here we are. Again, facing terrorist states like Iran, facing terrorist organizations like those now coming out of Venezuela. But we got a president that has demonstrated that he's not going to tolerate anybody even coming near hurting this country, let alone attacking us on a scale of 9-11.

9:16But you and me, we need to be awake. Don't work laying down and saying it can't happen. It could. I worry that it may happen again because again, Joe Biden and the policies of the Democrat Party have allowed millions, not thousands, but millions of people to come into this country and far too many of them may be somehow directly or indirectly attached to a terrorist organization. And we have to understand that terrorist organizations don't plan. They don't wake up in the morning and say, hey, two weeks we're going to attack this target in America and that target in America. Years are planning. They're very patient. They're very patient. They need to finances. They need the weapons. They need the people. It takes a lot of time to do that. My concern is that they've already done a lot good number of those things and they're going to at some point in time pull the trigger. We can prevent it. If we wake up.

10:19Gotta get out loud. I say that all the time. I tell you and remind you all the time America out loud. News. America needs to be out loud. With their congressional representatives, with their elected officials, get them on the ball. Greatest fear I had when the defund the police movement took a lot of traction. My god, I said, boy, oh boy, they're going to defund the police to the point where we're going to open up the floodgates to allow terrorists to come here. Biden did. Yeah, yeah. Cut back ice, cut back border patrols. He did. No mistake about that. And who in my view was complicit with him every Democrat in this country. Oh, but you're saying my, you know, I have family members who are Democrats. Well, if your Democrats just support that party, if you voted for these people who are in office.

11:19And then you reelect them. So you would have excuse. And I've got to tell you, same thing with Republicans. You're voting for people that you know are not fully engaged in fighting terrorism. Yeah, we got some of them in Republican party. But I got blood on their hands too. That's right. I'm tough when it comes to that. I don't play nilly, Willie games and look for words that will not offend people. I don't want to offend you. But if you're part of the problem, that means you're not part of the solution. And while you're busy in Congress fighting back and forth over the Epstein files for goodness sakes, these people are preparing to destroy us on the scale of 9-11. You know, look, there's been a lot of talk going back and forth. I know people want to know let's get the files out there. Let's see who was involved. All right. Let's say you find out a B and C were involved. What are you going to do about it? What are you going to do about it?

12:21I think people, if they were involved in high crimes, especially involving juveniles, whether it be sexual offenses or any type of offense that could have been committed by people. In this country, in our government, they should be prosecuted. Where it happened. I don't know. Right now, I'm not thinking about fighting for the release of the Epstein files. I don't even think about Epstein. And the only reason why I'm talking about it is because I'm trying to make a point. What I'm thinking about right now is Putin making his move on Ukraine where thousands of more people will be killed. And then he just may, I'll tell you, I've changed my view on this. You know that. I used to say, nah, he's not crazy enough to go after a NATO country. Well, that's changed. That's changed. I believe at this point in time, based on what I'm seeing now, and what he's doing, delay, delay, delay building troops up, building weapons up. He just may come after a NATO country.

13:28And I will talk about that at a future broadcast, because I believe that the NATO countries, they're instigating something here that they should not be instigating. And I'll get into more detail about that during a different broadcast, a later one, not too far later. But I see what's unfolding here. My chrono France, the Chancellor of Germany, Stammer of the United Kingdom, all of a sudden, all of a sudden wanting to stick their nose into this whole issue between Zelensky and Putin, condemning Putin, letting Zelensky know, don't worry, we got you back. And letting us know that we hope America has our back, meaning NATO's back. Folks, I'm telling you, this is getting crazy. It really is. But my point is that the reason why I'm bringing this up right now, with regard to all of what I just shared with you, including F-Sing files, we should not be focused.

14:29To the point where we obsess now, with a bunch of files that's gone from here to there, here to there, and may not even exist for all I know. But that's what our Congress is doing. Who are they going to catch? Maybe some congressmen, maybe from senators, maybe from some former political people in office, some CEOs, some famous people, and you know what we're going to do, we're going to see, ooh, look at this. It's terrible. So millions of dollars, millions of manhours, planning to get people who committed these crimes, and I believe it, you know, that should be done. All right. But we don't need to be obsessed with it. And then when we get there, and they're named, we're going to charge them. We're going to prosecute them. Well, the FBI should, the Department of Justice should, if it gets that far. But why not just do it and get it over with? Why these, look at, remember I share with you day in and day out when I'm on the air. The United States Congress is famous for committee meetings, committee hearings. There will be like a Broadway show.

15:42It happens all the time. There'll be a select committee. I don't know who selects these committees, but there'll be a select committee. And they'll get on Seasman. You'll see them on CNN. You'll see them on all the networks. Here we go. Digging a name names, the names of so and so. He did this. She did that. They were there. All this is going to come out. Then they'll be this thought. Well, then there'll be a grand jury investigation. Maybe. Maybe they'll be subpoenas to all sorts of people. This thing will drag on for day in and day out for years. Now you got the victims. Get a load of this. They had it up today, neck with it. They are talking about from what I've read naming names. They want this stuff out there. I believe that they have every right for the names to come out. I believe they have very right for everything to be exposed. They were victims. And as a shame that's gotten to this point with the victims have to leave the charge. Our government should be protecting them in a court of law.

16:46Without all this nonsense going on. Well, why do I call it nonsense? I'm not diminishing the fact that these people, these bad people that have been involved with Epstein should be prosecuted. I'm not doing that. But why do we have to have all this publicity? The FBI, the partner of justice, do your job. Congress. I don't know why you have to get involved with the FBI and the DOJs doing their job, but you're involved. You got the names released. Release the files. Get it over with. Get it done. Get it before a court and get these people arrested and prosecuted if in fact they've committed these alleged atrocious crimes. That's it. And then let's do what the Chinese are doing. Oh, but what are they doing? Well, if you're awake, Congress, they're preparing to go to war with us. The Chinese Communist Party is preparing to go to war with us. We should be focused on congressional bills, Senate resolutions, Senate support, congressional support to build the United States Navy's fleet in the Pacific.

17:59Because that's where our battle with them is going to take place. When they invade Taiwan, I'm not saying if anymore, when they do it, they're going to do it. And we need to be prepared to go to war. And I hope it never happens. And we'll talk about this at some time to go to war in Europe against Latvia Putin. Look, I don't believe we should be involved in a war in Ukraine. I said that from the beginning. I said it's your problem. Or when Putin decides to invade Ukraine, you think he's going to stop there? He may not. He may not. And that's why I say we need to focus on what is important to the majority of the American people. Look, all crimes are important to us. All kinds of crimes are important to us. So we want our government to protect us by prosecuting the bad guys.

19:03But this Epstein thing, this Epstein case is terrible. But it's intriguing to a lot of people, right? It's a potter, as they say, for the media. They're going to make a movie, maybe several movies out of this gives our congressional representatives to set up their Broadway plays in Congress that doesn't impress the majority of people. What's going to happen? You're going to have the Democrats here and the Republicans there and they're going to have a show of a lifetime. Did you do this? Were you there? I plead the Fifth Amendment. Is it true? Congressman so and so was there. Congressman, Congresswoman so and so was there on the island. And on and on and on. Meanwhile, President Xi is sitting back watching this show that can keep the Americans busy. Keep them busy. Yep. Help get this Epstein filed then going. Make sure all the newspapers take out ads, put billboards up. We want the Epstein files.

20:07Keep the American people occupied with things that are not important to the Chinese Communist Party, to the Russians, to the Cremlin, to the Iranian government, keep the Americans busy. There are more inclined to turn on TV news shows like court TV and all of these other TV programs that intrigue them. They keep them home watching what may be one of the most important scandals in American history. They're going to be more than one of the other than them watching what may be one of the most horrific military confrontations in the history of the United States of America. Yep. Interesting way that I put it. Don't you think, folks? Don't you think? But that's what's going on. And all I could tell you is, at some point in time, when all this blows wide open,

21:11no, no, no, not the Epstein files, but when the wars begin to start, which leads me to this. Many of you may not know this, but I'm sure many of you may know by now that the president of the United States has signed an executive order that changes the name of the Department of Defense to the war department. Now, that's upset a lot of people. Well, it's done. It's over with. He's renaming to the Department of Defense to the war department. And that means that, at least I believe in the eyes and the motives of why it was done, is to make it clear to our enemies that we're not going to be willing, illegally anymore. We are going to be ready to fight a war. Now, my opinion is I like the Department of Defense title. I like that. We've had it for a long time. It set to tone after World War II that the Department of Defense was truly sending a signal to our enemies that we are here to defend freedom of liberty.

22:22We're here to defend our country that we're not going to go out there and start wars and occupy countries. I kind of believe that that was the message, but the war department is nothing new. We had that during World War II and the mission of the war department is the same mission of the Department of Defense. So, the President of the United States changed the mission of the Department of Defense. No, he changed the name. So, what's the big deal? What is the big deal? So, we have a Department of War, the War Department, why? Well, we prepare for war. But now, at the mainstream media and all kinds of people make a big issue over this, looks, it doesn't matter to me if it's the War Department, the Department of Defense. What matters to me is if we're prepared to fight and win a war for goodness' sake. And we haven't been for quite some time. We're getting there now. We're getting there. President Trump has made that very clear. The US Congress has made it very clear. So, what's in a name?

23:29Really? I'm not kidding. I'm thinking about that for quite some time when I heard about this and I'm hearing all this. Oh, what? What kind of message is he sending? Oh, this is terrible. We're going to start wars. Now, when are we going to start? When do you get this stuff from? So, it's the War Department. Look it up, folks. Look it up. Read about history. Read about Franklin Roosevelt. And the time of the 1940s, reference was made to the War Department. Why call it War Department people are asking today? Because we're preparing for war. We're preparing for wars. And maybe the President knows something that we don't know. Maybe military intelligence is saying, hey, we've got to be prepared. So, we're sending a signal. And the fact that the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of War now, Secretary of War, and the President and others that are making it clear that we are no longer Nancy Pansy military operations around here. We are war fighters. I like that. We are war fighters. And we're preparing for war.

24:36Remember I said months ago in this broadcast, if any of you have listened to me, I said, get ready. It's coming. Get ready, mom and dad. Hug your kids. It's coming. And people are, oh, no, no, you're exaggerating. You're scaring us. I'm not saying these things to scare you. I'm saying these things to prepare you. I'm going to talk about that at length sometime. Remember, remember, I'm the executive director of a nonprofit, US Navy organization, who has been, who has been around talking to people and who have thousands and thousands of war fighters in our organization. War fighters from World War II, who many of them who are still alive, from Vietnam, from Iraq, from every war that we fought. I'm around these great, great heroes all the time. And I'm getting ready. I'm telling you, I'm getting our members ready to do some great things moving forward in the event that our young men and women are called to fight a war again. Well, we'll talk about that some other time.

31:34We need to speak up. We need to speak up. Speak out. Get involved and make sure that we do our part in keeping America free and strong. And a part of doing our part leads me to what we're going to do right now. We are going to get out loud. But we're going to get out loud for God. That's right. America out loud news. Well, here's this portion of us getting out loud. America getting out loud for God. Because it is in the holy scriptures that we find peace through the storms. That we find strength through the challenges that we run into as not only a nation, but as individuals. When you look at the founding documents of this country and just about every paragraph, two words are used. Divine Providence. George Washington, dependent on divine Providence to get through some tough, tough times. Abraham Lincoln in his time, divine Providence. John Adams, Thomas Jefferson.

32:41I could go down the list of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence and show you historical proof that they somehow, some way, even if it was an ounce of belief, did believe in God Almighty. They got of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Known as Jesus Christ. The Lord of Lord to the King of kings. So when people say, well, the founding fathers really didn't believe that they don't know what they're talking about. They have no idea what they're talking about. And so, as I just shared with you, the second half of our broadcast here in America out loud news is getting out loud for God. And so, I'm going to share some scripture verses with you that I hope and pray will have positive impact on your life and helping you to understand that there is a God above and His name happens to be Jesus Christ. Know the name. Know the name under the heavens, on the earth, under the earth, in the depths of the sea, in the far reaches of out of space. Know the name in history.

33:48Can replace the name of Jesus Christ as the one true holy God. Just remember that. You don't believe it? Well, you got problems. But doesn't mean God doesn't love you. He loves you. And his arms are open for you. And we will continue to pray for people like you if you don't believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. However, hang in there. Wait a few minutes because by the time we're through with this part of this broadcast, you may have found peace. Not through the words that I am saying, but through the words that Christ has said through his Bible, his word, I am merely the messenger. Now, let's talk about your trials. Let's talk about the trials of our country. Let's talk about the trials and tribulations that you are facing. And in some cases, the trials you are facing is as a result of the direction our country is going in. But I like to bring things down to a personal level. How about this one?

34:54Have you preserved through your money problems? Have you preserved through your health problems? Have you preserved through your emotional problems? And your physical problems, I mean, on and on and on. Have you preserved through that? Have you persevered? Well, here's something for you. 40-some, I waited patiently for the Lord and He inclined to me and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit out of the Myri Clay and set my feet upon a rock and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth, praise to our God. Many will see it and fear and will trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust and does not respect the proud nor such as turn aside to lies. Many O Lord, My God, or your wonderful works, which you have done and your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to you in order. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

36:04Sacrifice and offering, you did not desire. My ears, you have opened. Burn offering and sin offering, you did not require. Then I said, behold, I come. In the skull of the book, it is written of me. I delight to do your will. Oh, My God, and your law is within my heart. I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness in the great assembly. Indeed, I do not restrain my lips, O Lord, you yourself know. I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly. Do not withhold your tender mercies from me, O Lord. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My inequities have overtaken me so that I am not able to look up. There are more than the hairs of my head, therefore my heart falls to me. Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me, O Lord, may catch to help me. Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion, who seek to destroy my life. Let them be driven backward and brought to this honor, who wish me evil. Let them be confounded because of their shame, who say to me, aha.

37:26Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation, say continually, the Lord be magnified. But I am poor and needy. Yet the Lord thinks upon me, you are my help and my deliver, do not delay my God. That was a prayer of David, King David, who went through hell and high water in his life. And he made it pretty clear that he waited and waited and waited patiently. Never gave up. Went through more hell and high water, never gave up. And then one day, one day he saw his answers come from the kingdom of heaven. You know about him, those of you who do know about him, you know what he went through because of his sin. And a lot of what he went through had nothing to do with sin. It's just the way things had happened in his life. Are you sinning? Yeah, talking to you, you're listening to me, are you listening? You doing something you shouldn't be doing? Do you know you're doing something that is wrong? Not only in the eyes of man, but in the eyes of God?

38:34I once asked a person, say, well, look, if I do this, you think there'll be no problem with that. I mean, nobody's looking. And you know that person said to me, years ago, what you're about to do, would you do if Jesus Christ was standing right there looking at you? I got to tell you folks, the answer was a very, very quick no way, no way would I do that. Well, there's your answer. And you right now, would you do something that you know to be wrong if Jesus Christ was standing right there in front of you, staring at you? No, you wouldn't do it. I'm sure you wouldn't do it. The point is, folks, is that we do things thinking, believing that nobody's watching when Jesus Christ is watching. And that's the problem we face today. People don't want to be held accountable to anyone, including God. They don't want to wait for answers to come from God to their prayers. And they look for the quick fix.

39:35And who gives you the quick fix? Well, those who pay on the back and say, you know, I sympathize with you. So let's go for a drink. Or how about take a drug? Or how about go see a psychologist or psychiatrist? Which by the way, I do not condemn. There are therapists, psychologists, psychologists, great people. God gave a lot of these people wonderful gifts to heal you. Or at least to help you along the way to healing. So when people say, well, you shouldn't go here, go there. No, no, no, no. You listen to people. Yes. But I always say, you pray and you ask God to guide you and he will guide you. So don't listen to people. Let's say, don't take medicine. Don't do this. Don't do that for goodness' sake. God gave wonderful intelligent people the abilities, the gifts, if you will, to bring a lot of people back to life. You know, you know what I'm talking about? Not back from physical death, but I'm talking about back to life from a spiritual death as well as emotional death and on and on and on.

40:44But they waited patiently. Yeah, they prayed. They waited patiently. And that's why I'm sharing with those of you who maybe have no strong relationship with Christ. You could wait for man until the end of the world to help you. Don't send you down. This road, go ahead and that, that don't work for them. That road, you go crazy, right? One person says, do this. Another person says, do that. Then you get the people say, well, look, just call me. I'm ready. I'm here to help. And on the 150th telephone call or text or email, you give up. God doesn't work that way. You'll have to wait. You'll have to wait because God timing is perfect. You're going through difficult times and challenges and saying, why me God? I don't understand. Folks, I don't understand it all either. But I find out that by waiting patiently for God's answer, whether it's yes or no or in the middle, that peace is coming to me and that when he answers, it's an everlasting solution.

41:50Now that takes faith. That takes a lot of faith, but you don't give up. You never give up. And he will. I'm telling you, I believe it because I lived it. I've experienced it. I waited patiently for the Lord and he had inclined to me. He heard my cry. He brought me up at a horrible pit, at a my reclay. And he set my feet upon a rock, which leads me to the book of Matthew. There are scriptures in the book of Matthew that they look at. Don't build your house, your life, your soul, your spirit. Everything you have, unsaned. Because what's going to happen when the wind comes, the rain, the hell, the fleet, the storm comes, your house is done, finished. You built it on sand. The sand gets loose. It caves in. You get buried under the sand. Now what is the sand? You ask. I'll tell you what it is, folks. The sand is your hope and your dreams and all your investments are in money.

42:58The material things of this world. Money. The love of money is the root of all evil. I have found, I have learned and I am convinced that money, the love of money, does more damage to a relationship between people and God than any other thing on the face of the earth. I believe that. Because money isn't designed to hurt you. Money is designed to help you. And you know what it helps you do? Dissent yourself from God. That's right. There's a Satan, there's a devil, right? We all believe in that who believe in Christ as our Savior. So if you think that the devil is going to come after you with a pitchfork and burn you and prod you in demand that you separate yourself from God. You know, that's not going to work. But if he showers you with gifts and material things on earth, including riches, including success in whatever you're doing, if it's him doing it, it's going to distance yourself from God.

44:08And all of that material wealth and the success you're having on the job or here and there is going to be very temporary. Believe me, I tell you folks, I lived it. Unless Jesus Christ is in your life. Who happens to be, that's right, the rock. The rock, the rock, the rock is the word of God is Jesus Christ. You build your house, meaning your heart, soul and spirit. You're being, you build it on the rock, which is Christ, the word of God. You know that same wind, storm, hail that came upon the house that was built on the sand and destroyed it will come your way and your house will still be standing, meaning you will still be standing. You have a few bruises, you bet you will. Will you be bleeding? Nope. Will you be dying? Nope. You will be actually resurrected from the problems and difficulties that you're facing. But you've got to wait patiently because in waiting, your faith is being strengthened for the next challenge. You've got to wait.

45:24Once a man once said to me, when you pray, what do you do after you pray? I said, well, you know, I pray to God. I talk to him. I let him know the things I need and some of the things I want and then I leave him alone. I go. He says, you mean, what do you mean by going? I said, well, you know, I do pray once in a while, my knees are walking and then when I'm finished saying, you know, go about my business. So here's what the fellow says to me. He says, you do that with everybody. You just like have a conversation with them and walk away. I said, of course not. I just get on about everybody. I mean, and folks, let me tell you what it's driving at. If I don't do that with people, if I'm willing to stand there or sit at the table with them, having a conversation and waiting for their response, why don't I do that with Christ? Why don't I do that? Which Jesus Christ with the God that I'm praying to? And I learned to listen, Steve Rogers, you're on your knees praying, sitting up praying, standing praying, walking, don't leave. Maybe walk an extra mile and be quiet. Be quiet, Steve Rogers.

46:37You said it all to God. Let him minister to you. Let him speak to your heart, your soul and your spirit. Don't talk after you've already talked your heart out to Christ. Let him talk to you. And I got to tell you folks, no voice comes out of heaven, no earthquake, no bolt of lightning. But you know what happens? That whisper, that inner whisper to one's heart, soul and spirit. You know what I'm talking about? Leads me to go home or my office or wherever my Bible is. Now listen to me. And to just turn to pages, turn, turn, turn. And then suddenly you're going to stop Steve Rogers. You're going to stop on the 769 page, for example, of Dr. David Jeremiah's Bible, which I have in my hands now, and your eyes are going to be eyeball to eyeball on the Word of God, the 40th Psalm.

47:42Yep, for you, it may be something else at another day, another time for me, another time, another day, and what's it say at the 40th Psalm? I waited patiently for the Lord. And what did he do? He inclined unto my, you know, he inclined unto me. He heard my cry, he heard my prayers. What makes you think he's not hearing your prayers? Every word that's coming out of your mouth. He hears every tear drop coming out of your eyeballs and flowing down your face. You know what that is? They're not just drops of water, folks. Now listen to me. A lot of people have said to me, oh, I've cried so much Steve Rogers. I've cried so much. I, you know, I can't other a prayer. We've all been there. We've all done that. But what we all have not done is come to an understanding of what those tears flowing down our faces really are. That's right. You want to know, you're ready? You're going through tough times. Difficult times. Challenges you don't believe you could overcome. Finally, you get to a point where I've cried. I prayed to God. Night and day on my knees, I go to church. Read the book.

49:04I'm not a Bible. Listen to that. I just can't handle this anymore. And then you break down and here comes the river, the river of tears that could fill a 50 gallon jug. And you know what? It's okay. Every single tear drop. Every single tear drop. And I know when I say this, some of you are going to tear up right now. And that is okay. Every single tear drop is a silent, powerful prayer to God. He sees every drop and inscribed on every drop are the desires of your heart. Are the requests you have brought to the throne of Jesus Christ. That's right. So when you're crying, I mean really crying. And those tears could fill a jug. There it is. The river that makes glad, the city of God. What do you think of that? What do you think of that? That in itself should bring you solace, should bring you faith and strength.

50:17God knew how to create man. He knew what you and I needed to express ourselves to him. Even if we could not utter those expressions via a voice or out of our mouth. But we have to know him. Oh yeah. And how do we get to know him? Read his word. Hey folks, you know, when you want to, you want to know about first president of the United States, George Washington. Pick up a biography about George Washington. You want to know about Ronald Reagan? Pick up a biography about Ronald Reagan. Want to know about Jesus Christ? Pick up his biography, the Holy Bible. Pick up his life story, the Holy Bible. And take his Holy Bible, his word and take a look at that. And you will find indeed what you have in your hands. Or if you are an individual who for some reason can't read a Bible, whether it be through a physical element, some health issue or whatever, you've got audio tapes, you've got audio live streams, you've got audio,

51:30USBs, you've got computers, there is no excuse anymore. It's there. It is there. The rock, the rock comes in all forms, folks, whether it be through a computer, an iPhone, an iPad, a telephone, the rock, the word of God. Yep. If you can't see it, you could hear it. If you can't hear it, you could see it. And by doing that in any way, shape and form, that is grabbing that rock, the Holy Word of God, it will touch your heart. It will touch your soul and touch your spirit. So you wait, you wait because help is on the way. Look, I don't know what many of you are going through, but I'll tell you, I believe most of you are going through difficult times. Look, the economy is rough. My wife and I think about you, we had kids several years ago, that is a family make it today. But then I'm reminded that my 99 year old mother who passed away recently, well, I should say a year ago, said that we made it, my son, we made it through the 1930s, to depression, the 40s, to World War One, World War Two, Korean World War, we made it.

52:52Mom, how did you make it? We were poor. We lived on the streets of Brooklyn, New York, for goodness sakes and Bay Ridge, we were poor. You know what she told me? We made it because we prayed. We made it because we worship Jesus Christ. We made it because, yeah, there were food pantries here, there were grocery stores there. But we made it because, before we went into the grocery store, before we went down the street to maybe get seltzer or bread or whatever, there was another building we walked in. And that was the church. That was a holy place where we could meet God Almighty one on one in the solitude and quiet of his house. Now, my mother knew full well as we do today, we could pray to God anywhere in the car, in the shower, in the bedroom, in the living room. Yeah, we could pray to God walking, but I've got to tell you, in my view, that's fine. I do a lot. I believe me. I do it a lot.

54:05I said, I'm my deck with my dog every day, and I talk to God and I pray. But I tell you what folks, there is nothing like walking into a place that I call a holy place of God, a holy house of God. I feel that way. I walk into a church, there's an altar, there are, I mean, a feeling that is so incredible. And there's nothing wrong with that. And I saw a dude, it is quiet. And that's the best way to have it between you and God. So I kind of say, listen, I've said enough to you, oh Lord, in my house, let's go to your house and let's talk. And then I go. And you know what I do after I pray? I wait patiently. I wait patiently upon the Lord because I know that he is hearing my prayers. And I know, help then is on the way. And you need to know that.

55:08So no matter what you're faced with, right now at this hour, know this. It is not by accident that you're listening to this message. I'm telling you something. Now listen to me. This was not the message that I was preparing to share with you today. Nope. I was preparing a message about atheism and the fact that atheists are looking to destroy our country by separating us from God. And suddenly something happened, decided to go to my Bible. I decided to go to the 40th Psalm and began to share with you that Psalm about waiting patiently on the Lord. In reality, I didn't make any of those decisions. He did Jesus Christ. Show me thy way. Teach me thy faith, O Lord. I say every day. Well, he showed me his way regarding what I just said with you and teaching us all his path. You're going to be fine. You're going to be fine.
